Stayed for one night with my husband and sons. Room was clean, but the AC wasn't great and the fan in the bathroom did not work. Breakfast was typical, but everyone was happy and full when we left. Gym didn't have a fan, mats, or towels which would be helpful! Fine for a night stay.

Nice room, safe environment. However, the breakfast offerings in no way matched the photos on Expedia. Photos showed two or three Belgian waffle makers and a hot food station. There were, in fact, zero waffle makers and a sad offering of powdered eggs and limp bacon. No fresh fruit and a paltry offering of one muffin type and some toast and bagels. Disappointing.

Overall, the facility was old, and my body was itchy when I slept in bed. It was difficult to check in, and I didn't understand. It's a place I don't want to go again.

My stay at this inn was excellent. Plenty of easy parking with good lighting and safe feeling. Check in service was super fast and friendly. Front desk, and all staff were very pleasant, smiled and polite. Room cleaned well, and all amenities worked well. Nice TV and beds comfortable. A very comfortable night stay with 2 small dogs in tow.

My check in process was smooth. The young man at the desk was friendly and attentive. He did not rush my husband who loves to converse with staff on our travels. The breakfast was great and free! I will visit this location again.

Very clean room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was monitored for any replenishments needed. Ample parking. Overall, a pleasant experience.

The first room I was in, the bed was disgusting and it had a big dip in the middle. The second room had stain on the comforter. There were signs that said “no smoking hotel” but the rooms reeked of smoke especially when you turn the AC down.

The staff was very helpful, and the room was well maintained. I enjoyed my stay and will use this location again. The only thing that I did not like was that the ICE machine on the FIRST (1) floor was not repaired or replaced. The second (2) floor ICE machine did not work either. PLEASE repair these or replace them so we do not have to go to the third floor for ICE, thanks!

The breakfast staff was on their toes constantly filling everything and cleaning up One elevator was so fast that one member of our party did not have time to get on and it did not stop the door from closing when trying to interrupt the closure, the other was incredibly and slow to offset the fast one

The room was nicely appointed. The check-in and check-out staff were pleasant and enjoyable to interact with. The location was convenient for the purpose of our trip. For everything we liked, it was overshadowed by the absolutely disgusting appearance of the elevators! The elevator closest to the front desk had half the lights out plus the floors were deplorable. There was accumulated filth of many, many days present along the floor moulding, especially in the areas where moulding was missing, We're not just talking about regular dirt, we're talking fairly large chunks of debris. When running, the elevator closest to the front desk was slow with jerky movements. It felt like it needs service. The second elevator had full illumination, but the floors were equally dirty. The other issue of discontent was the TV remote. It was near impossible to use. We got so frustrated, we just turned the TV off.

The hotel had 2 college soccer teams staying in the hotel. I guess no one suggested to these teams that they shouldn't be yelling in the halls at 10PM, midnight, or 2PM. We were bleary-eyed for our important event this morning because of the hotel's poor accoustics and little oversight of guests. I would NOT stay here again.

Room was nice, but no way to take a bath (not a shower) because there was no way to plug the tub to run water. Breakfast - at 8:30 am, there was NO regular coffee in the carafes. I asked the desk clerk to have the kitchen bring some asap, but I sat there until after 9 am, still no coffee.

Breakfast is normal. The rooms are not properly clean and the sheets seemed not to have been changed.

I did not use the internet it was not secure. The staff was very good especially the one at the free breakfast.

I love the location always. And the manager Helene is always a joy to speak to. I didn't like the beds this time. It seemed like the box springs were gone and our bed kept moving the whole night with just sitting movement. A room and floor had a very musty odor to it. Including our bed sheets. The male worker on duty in the evening shift at the front desk gave me some towels and bath clubs that were still damp saying that they were clean. And I'm like that's why the sheets and towels smell so musty. And that is also a good way for mold and bacteria to grow if nothing's dried properly.

I’m coming from Florida and I always stay here. Staff is always so nice, rooms are clean, breakfast in the morning. I’m also travel with my dogs. Decent price for the room with pets. Parking lot is big with lights. Only “negative” is that the dog bags were gone in the dispenser (and that’s not really a negative lol) thanks again for having an awesome hotel. Will be returning. Until next year!

The only reason we picked this hotel was location. The bathroom are dated, the staff work hard to keep it clean, but it smells old. The breakfast is not great, let’s say it’s ok. Do I stay again, if we have to! Nice gym!

Overall, the hotel is so-so, not great, but not the worst either. Elevators were a little scary. Morning staff were not that nice, evening/afternoon staff were super nice. They don't let you hang out in the lobby, but they did let us use the conference room, so that was nice!

The location is one of the best parts of this hotel. Right next to a mall and walking distance to food. The rooms were very clean, staff nice. Not many amenities inside the hotel. The gym was nice if you like that. The breakfast was very basic, bagels, eggs, sausage, muffin, fruit cup, yogurt.

Loud barking dogs, doors slamming, and kids running up and down the hallways late at night on the 5th floor. Hotel is more of an extended stay for transient persons now and has deteriorated in appearance and upkeep since the last stay a year ago.

The staff here is wonderful! Very personable and friendly. They are willing to be flexible and support your needs and it stays quiet in this hotel all day and night. My only reason for giving it a 4 and not a 5 is that it could use some updating in the rooms. But as far as our stay, it was great!

The staff did not clean our room but we had the do not disturb sign on the door most of the time. We have stayed here several times. It is very comfortable and good hotel. The location is great for many newrby places that we like.

I immediately noticed that the thermostat was not working, resulting in constant turning on and off of the HVAC system. The bathtub faucet was not attached to the wall. A pest control employee was spraying occupied rooms. When I inquired what he was spraying he said "Liquid". I asked "Liquid WHAT?" and he replied "Just liquid". Either he didn't know or was instructed not to say. The only bright spot to my stay was Miss Dee who was the breakfast buffet attendant. She was very pleasant and helpful. The food was fresh and abundant. The beds were very comfortable.

Someone had given her my check in form and she signed it. Nobody verified her information. She had a hyphenated name and it was the same as mine. But mine was not hyphenated. Our booking had been made on Hotels.com. Our plans changed and we needed to leave a day early. Initially, when we checked in, we were told, we would still be charged for the entire booking. Upon checking out, Halah adjusted our invoice so that we were not charged for the 3rd night. She was amazing!

Reason for three stars instead of four or five is that on our second of two nights, we came back to the room at 12:30am and I found two cockroaches in the bathroom in and above the sink--one about ¼", one bigger (maybe ¾-1"). I was able to kill them both, and I saw no evidence of any other bugs the whole time we were there, but it was just enough to make me a little squicked out. We reported the front desk before going to bed, and they said they'd notify pest control and management.

Gave someone else our room while we were in it and they woke us up trying to get in then the front desk came and knocked 30 min later telling me to open the door and woke us up a second time. No apology.

Clean, convenient, and the lady fixing breakfast was very polite and kind, her food was great as well.

Parking easy. We didn't eat breakfast. Handicapped room was cramped and bed was way too high for wheelchair bound to access, required help from night manger, who was great!

The room is tired looking but clean. The corners of the bathroom had dirt built up in the corners. Tissues are very stiff! Other than that it’s a decent value, especially the coffee and tea area that is available 24 hours.

Parking was great breakfast was very limited n ended before we even woke up n showered. Employees were great.. we tried to stay 3 night this month but couldnt find the rt location we had this time so stayed at a much less quality place..

Parking was easy and convenient on property. Breakfast was fresh and Dee the breakfast lady kept everything available and all tables and counters clean!

Hotel was alright, quiet, kinda old, could use some updating, I booked 2 rooms and the one on the first floor had roaches and the only solution was for them to come spray bug spray. The area was nice and convenient, close to a lot of shopping and food options. Bed was old and lumpy. Free breakfast option came in handy.

Was having work done on our house & we had to stay out for 24 hrs. (due to chemicals smell). Picked La Quinta for pricing & reviews. We weren't disappointed. Room was nice, everything was clean. Took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. A very special shout-out to Ms. D who did a masterly job. She even offered to fix my plate for me. Everything was very good.

We chose this property based on the reviews and the rating, but what we experienced was so far from it. The property entrance gives off the vibe of excellence but the rooms are dirty, small and old. The sink was painted, but because it was wet when painted it bubbled. The right arm of the office chair was chewed up and had sharp edges. One of the pillow cases was stained, the microwave was burnt inside and there was trash behind the dresser.

Your workers need a lesson in customer service skills. They don’t know how to use manners and be professional especially those who work at night. The room was comfortable and hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. That’s about it.

The hotel allows dogs, we heard some barking but that's not the hotels fault. The bed was lumpy and hard. The room was big and spacious, but the sink area was very small, hard to get ready. Housekeeping and the front desk were very friendly.

I liked how kind and helpful the lobby staff were.

Otherwise, I’ll come back when I need to be in the area.

Rest of the stay was fine but won’t come back for the terrible night of sleep.

We had JR Suite and for the money that we were paying it was very spacious and accommodated all of us including my ESA. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast needs to have more options, more variety.

It is located in a major shopping area with easy access and parking. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

The room was in need of maintenance. The shower control was very hard to operate. Hard to turn the water on and off. Soap containers needed to be filled. The heat and air-conditioned unit needed repairs. Door to the room has large gaps all the way around the door.

An acceptable place to stay for the dollar. Bed too firm for me but that’s a personal preference. Clean linens, hot shower and quiet. Coffee and breakfast was fine. Able to get eggs for a keto diet. Would stay here again.

The breakfast was just okay nothing special about it. My room was nice and clean. The shower could have been more powerful the water pressure wasn’t that great. Also the refrigerator was a bit small couldn’t hold that much the door kept popping open.

The breakfast options are very limited compared to other LaQuinta hotels we have stayed at. Initially we were given room 100 which ended up being right behind the front desk, so we could all the conversations and the phone ringing off the hook late into the night. The next day we asked to change rooms (we were staying 3 nights). We were told by the staff: “Well that’s what you get when you select the cheapest room”. However, we didn’t select the cheapest room, nor did we select an ADA room which is what we were given. I had made the reservation 3 weeks in advance. The first room was terrible, bed was uncomfortable, no TV guide, room seemed clean. We were switched to another room after some back and forth. The second room was much better. There were many sketchy characters staying at the hotel, lots of weed smoking around the property. Also lots of out of town workers which i respect and were fine. I personally witnessed an individual with a hand gun hanging partially out of his sweat pants pocket. We will not stay here again.

Wish it has a pool

AC cut off in the middle of the night each night. Apparently had 2 settings too hot and too cold. The sheets were so worn there were holes in them. Employees were all friendly and courteous. The building needs an upgrade.

Lot’s of weed folks, we had a room that was NOISY, elevator? Pipes? Location was good for us, right next to a mall and super market. Breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast. But curtains didn’t shut properly and just the noise of pipes and smell…

The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby as well as my room were clean. I stayed one night but while speaking with other guests they seem to enjoy the staff as well. My bed was comfy and my bathroom was clean.

Mall and grocery store right next to the hotel, customer service was OK, not the cleanest hotel, breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast.

First room we were offered had electrical issues. Lights and outlets weren’t working. The woman at the front desk tried to convince me this was normal. She finally relented and gave us a new room. The second room was ok. The shower curtain rail is falling off. The hotel feels badly maintained and badly staffed.

What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended—would definitely stay here again!

What is there to review? I had the room for three nights, my flight got delayed and I wasn’t able to contact the hotel to let them know that I’ll be checking in very late, but when I got there, they told me that my room was no longer reserved even though I had already paid for it

The property was not maintained well. Evening staff was not very welcoming. I have stayed in hotels in many cities and states, this was one of the worst. The amount of $ charged was too much for this hotel. If my stay would have been longer than 2 nights I would have found a different hotel.

Very reasonably priced for a motel in this area. They cover the basics very well. The motel is adjacent to a major Chesterfield, VA mall. You can walk to the mall in five minutes, which has restaurants. Additionally, there are a number of fast food and sit-down restaurant very close by.

Worst mattress that I have ever slept on. It was so worn out that there was a hole in the bed and when sitting down the sides would collapse.

Toilet broke in first room, moved me to a room with a leaking toilet in bathroom and room full of smoke, then to a room on the pet floor .. dirty, elevator wouldn’t open, uncomfortable stay. Would not stay again.

I will never stay at another La Quinta again after this trip. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room (the hotel was non-smoking) and the elevator smelled like weed. There was no option for housekeeping service until your third night and I saw trash cans in the lobby remain overflowing for 24 hours. The room was dated with tiny beds so small that they only put three pillows on them instead of four. The bathroom had been repainted so poorly that paint splatters were on the floor. Breakfast was included but there were limited options and the eggs were cold. Only stayed here because our regular hotels in the area were all full. Has turned me off the brand for good.

It was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was free. I didn't like the small pillows they use on the bed. They were comfortable but too small.

This is an excellent hotel. The toilet in our first room had a faulty flush, and the desk changed us seamlessly to a room a few doors down. Then I had an embarrassing emergency -- an otherwise unnoticed rash on my skin opened up and bled a little on the bedding. The desk sent up a complete change of linen with kindness and sympathy. I wish I had the name of that excellent desk clerk, who genuinely cared (she was on duty on the morning of July 10). The breakfast is FAB (eggs and sausage, plus other stuff), and is operated by a sweet, thoughtful person named Dee. We even met a few dogs! La Quintas are pet-friendly. We really appreciated our stay here. Thank you.

Hotel worked well for weekend soccer tournament. Location was convenient to fields and restaurants/shopping was convenient and accessible. Front desk was great and ms Dee did a great job with breakfast every morning- made sure everything was stocked and clean. Room was a little small, but ac worked great and floor was quiet. This was our second stay in this hotel. It's a good place for the price but over the 4th of July weekend, the hotel had too many people trying to eat breakfast in the facility. Despite the excellent staff who worked tiredlessly to accommodate everyone, it was an impossible situation for them. Upper management should have realized that accommodating that many guests would require additional staff to keep the food coming. There also is not nearly enough seating to accomodate the number of guests they had registered. I wish I had a photo to show you the chaos from 8:30 until 10 a.m.

Hotel staff was great. However the property smelled like cigarette. Rooms were okay a/C machine made a lot of noise, pull out couch was uncomfortable.

There were no safety bars in bathrooms. Our room did not have a clock. Not enough staffers to handle problems. TV didn't work and we had to wait a day to get a new remote. our room was very musty smelling like an old smoker's room.

The stay was pretty much spoiled by the excessively loud ice machine that was in constant use from 6:00 am until we checked out at 8:00 am on Sunday morning. That combined with a text message at 7:30 am telling us that late checkout requests would not be honored which was immediate followed by the housekeeping staff knocking on doors and loudly yelling "Housekeeping" while speaking loudly in the hallway would cause me to stay somewhere else next time where they actually allow you to sleep.
