The stay was perfect and even had free valet parking

Everyone made me feel safe! Extremely nice, wasn’t used to valet so that was a new experience for us, but absolutely loved it! Rooms are almost sound proof and you cannot hear the airplanes in your room! Also complementary dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap! And it smelled so good! Plenty of it too, no sample generic size.

Well priced. Outdoor pool kept clean…have a grill free of use outside. If long stay in Miami…would be the choice!!! Seriously the best hotel we have visited. If go to Miami again…will be the hotel…100%!!!! P.s.—close to Miami Intl airport. Free shuttle… I mean wow! Oh…and Ubers are everywhere…we literally booked and driver was there in 3 minutes. Barely had time to walk down to get in. 🙂

Nothing really. The valet wouldn’t move the shuttle bus that was parked sideways and taking up all the handicapped spots and wanted us to park in the garage and walk in the pouring rain. So the shuttle can occupy the handicap spots near the entrance.

Fantastic hotel. The staff is super friendly the price is reasonable and it is conveniently located. If you are looking for a hotel near the airport, this is a great option. It has an airport shuttle that is complementary. In terms of amenities, this hotel has fantastic amenities, including complementary, self-serve laundry. All you need to do is provide your own detergent. The rooms are very quiet and the hotel itself is secure. Will definitely stay again.

Quick one night stay valet service is great. The room was comfortable but the shower wouldn’t turn off the morning we left so might need better up keeping.

The shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. Our suite was so spacious, we wished we were spending more than one night. Just a short walk to a nearby restaurant that was surprisingly incredible! We were happy with everything. It was a perfect stay for us.

Pool was in the parking lot and there is a major construction site ight next door they do not share. There was no hot water and after a maintenance person worked on it in the room for 30 minutes or so, at least got it to “warm”. Fabric on sofa showed signs of wear; and the vinyl wrapped living chair was sticky. In general, it felt quite dirty. It is situated very close to the road which is a 7 lane major arterial——-again a piece of information not shared. Although it’s close to the airport as the crow flies, it takes 20+ minutes each way. There is a restaurant connected to the building with a parking lot patio. The food and the staff were great. The floor, tables, and chairs was sticky enough that they pulled your clothing when disengaging. An extremely poor and disappointing stay. The first photo is immediately after a shower and the next one is after 10-15 minutes of walking around the room. If there was a mechanism to request a refund, I would ask for one.

The hotel is wonderful. Check in was easy. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean in all areas. Although next to airport, room was quiet. Shower was hot and had good pressure. Hotel has a shuttle to the cruise port for $15 per person, which is an excellent perk. Highly recommend this property.

Great beds and pillows. The small kitchenette was very well equipped. Small selection of products in the shopping reception but everything we needed. Good pool. Helpful staff. Valet parking a great bonus so too the laundry room. Everywhere was very clean. No noise from the airport. It would be nice to have a bar area and reception but we knew this before we booked

Room was great and spotless, very good environment, good chic vibes. Staff was great and helpful. My only complaint is that the lobby restrooms in both Candlewood in Miami were dirty. Other than that it was a great experience.

Nice suite, liked the little market where we could buy misc items and the lending cubbies. The room was very noisy. We could hear the traffic even with earplugs. We suggest adding an additional barrier to the windows such as thick curtains to block out the noise. Also, no hot water in the shower, only luke warm.

Desk person was nice, Dated , no hot water, was told it would be on by 9 pm, as a injured vet , hot water helps my pain, hot water was not turned on till after 4 am, yet overtime I called from 11pm on I was told 1 more hour After traveling all day, I needed a shower and rest, and received neither, as my pain was severe and kept me awake. Just tell the truth.

The overall cost and stay All was good

We booked this hotel through Booking.com with our stay fully prepaid (“0” dollars to be paid at the property), yet we were treated in an appalling and unsafe manner. During check-in, hotel "demanded" a deposit only by credit card. Because of some personal reason, we were unable to provide credit card so we offered to provide the entire deposit in cash instead. Following our request, the hotel right away refused entry, refused a refund and refused to give anything in writing or any form of documentation for their refusal or even a check-out receipt. Rather than showing slightest flexibility or empathy or working out some solution (we reached hotel at 11PM and we had a flight to catch early morning, so it was just few hours of sleep that we needed), they escalated the situation in a way that felt deliberately hostile. They called security, and about 4-5 individuals grouped together, standing very close to us in an intimidating way threatening us to leave the hotel immediately. Ultimately, we were left stranded at 11 PM at night with no accommodation, despite having already paid in full, hotel receiving full payment and requesting them to work out some solution. We had to scramble to find and pay for another hotel out of our own pocket. This was not a matter of “policy,” it was a complete failure of basic hospitality and human decency. The hotel staff not only denied us services we prepaid for, they created a situation that was unnecessarily confrontational and intimidating. No guest should ever have to feel unsafe simply because they are asking for fair treatment or a solution. Avoid this property at all cost, even for free.

Clean, quiet, room comfortable. Poor communication. I was told to email the hotel upon arrival because I didn't have phone access. I emailed and got no response so i decided to wait at the shuttle area and no shuttle. I took a taxi. DO NOT DEPEND ON THEIR SHUTTLE SERVICE.

Steve could not have been nicer. The room was large and clean and comfortable and being able to park there during our trip to Seattle was an added bonus. The only downside was that the shuttle that transferred you to the airport did not begin until 6 AM and that was too late for us so we had to Uber.

For the short time I spend was just to get over a hump to nignt over I was amazed had kitchenette and everything..Staff was nice and welcoming 🙏 spacious room that you can move around and be chilled...Hot water pressure was a bit low but not bad...

The valet service is a terrible idea. The valets are not professional and do constantly do stupid things. A lady valet liked out car and when we would come back from an outing she would sneer at us. An older man kept bothering my wife for stupid unnecessary things.

The hotel offered shuttle services from the airport and to the cruise port. Very convenient and easy to get to the hotel and the port. The staff at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable. We would stay here again and I definitely recommend Candlewood Suites.

I decided to stay at this property because of the location & proximity to the airport & also because of the expedia ratings, however I was amazed that the hotel was not even close to the revies & ratings. The property is not clean, the staff is standoffish. They willl nickel & dime you for every little thing. There was no lotion in the room, I was told that I had to purchase it at the front desk.

I had a nice stay

My 3 night stay was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The suite was clean and had everything I needed. The complementary room with snacks and drinks was also a nice surprise!

Every staff member - reception desk, valet, shuttle driver - were all helpful and friendly. Also, very convenient to the airport, and the hotel has free shuttle service. Convenient restaurant right next door.

Incredible nice clean friendly staff

There are a few things I noted that when there is a chance, management should fix. The bathroom door had to be lifted in order to close it and there was space under the where one could see the cement instead of tiles which appeared that the work was either rushed or unfinished. The door to the room I stayed in was not fitted well as the light from the hallway could be seen coming in from under the door as well as the side of the door. These things however did not stop me from getting a good night's sleep. I would stay here again not only for the location but the staff.

Big room. Very quiet for being beside airport. Good place to stay if you don’t want to stay downtown and rather drive in.

I expected this hotel to be a bit noisy being this close to the airport, but no. Room was very quiet. Very chill atmosphere. Lots of kids seemed to be enjoying the pool. The bed was super comfy and we liked having the kitchen available even if we didn't use it much. Nice to have. There is a little onsite mini-convenience store where you can get microwave food and ice cream. For a drink there is a restaurant onsite and they are VERY nice. I will say I did not think their buffet breakfast looked like a good value for $18 so we skipped it and went to Denny's, which you could walk to I think? But its not a very nice walk and the road in front is busy. You'd have to walk along the sidewalk. You do have to use the valet service to park and it is free. Of course I think you should tip the valet, but we tipped at the end of our 2 night stay. The valets were really nice. It was a really good value. I recommend it. Would stay again.

The property was 10 minutes to the airport by car. Once I arrived, valet quickly came and parked my vehicle so I could get inside from the hot temperature. Check in went smoothly as well with no problems. My experience and the room was very good. Didn’t use any of the amenities since my stay was just for one night.

Very nice hotel. Due to delays we arrived at almost midnight and the gentleman at the hotel offered to extended our checkout from 11am to 2pm before we left for the cruise ship. Nice alternative to staying in the expensive downtown.

I love the bed, very comfortable and the a/c was cold. Very nice hotel the only complaint I have is the valet person who was there in the afternoon was kinda rude to me. I didn’t like it but I didn’t have time to deal with him. Other than that, front desk and housekeepers were very nice!

The hotel itself was acceptable. It could certainly use some freshening up with things such as caulking in the bathroom, fresh paint, etc.

The property is great and the staff were very kind and courteous. I'll definitely be staying with them whenever I'm in Miami.

Only reason I am deducting one star is because they only provide valet for parking. Although it’s free, I find it inconvenient. Rooms are spacious and hotel is clean. Location is convenient.

The staff was very friendly and polite. I had gotten off a cruise that morning and requested an early check in. They did their best to get a room ready as early as possible for my family & I.

The staff was pleasant and the property was clean. They also let us stay in the room an extra hour while we waited to head to the port.

Hotel was good for one night stay before traveling. Only down side was that there was no airport shuttle before 6:00 AM

The room was way better than expected. They offer a small kitchen area and also provide dishes as well. The bathroom was a nice size. The beds were really comfortable. Guest service were friendly and knowledgeable.

The area felt safe and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect for a relaxing mother-daughter getaway. Would definitely stay again!

One lady at the front desk was very snobbish but everyone else was lovely. Close to everything. Rest of staff was very friendly, the valets were gentlemen. Had a convenience store on site which was very helpful. Hotel shuttle service is included. Would return.

We stayed here overnight prior to a cruise. It was clean, quiet, conveniently located, decently priced and comfortable. All staff we dealt with was great. There was a restaurant on site that had good food for a decent cost. I would stay here again.
