    On the day of check‑in, I filed a report with a representati She provided an incident number, but I no longer have it. I’m asking if you can please look into it, as the issue involved a prejudiced remark made by one of your employees. The incident occurred at the hotel located at 485 Brickell, Miami, FL 33231. Since there was no ice machine available, we called the front desk to request ice. When it was delivered, I said “Thank you, we’ll probably ask for more in an hour.” The employee responded by saying “SPANISH.” This was shocking and completely inappropriate. We were attending a function and fashion show for Swim Week, and there were many guests present from all backgrounds. I cannot understand how a hotel employee would say something like that to a guest.?? I would appreciate your assistance in locating the incident report and addressing this matter.

    The location was convenient for our stay and close for the cruise ship. We were very unlucky as after booking in December and two weeks before our stay in end of April - the hotel that’s costs $500 a night notified they will be doing construction… we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outdoor pool or patio and it was noisy and we were on the 5th floor. The TULUM bar was ok- the staff was amazing - but $42 for a small salad with 4 shrimp… just extremely overpriced. I have stayed at W hotels before in other states… this was my least favorite… I don’t think I would return here personally. But rooms were spacious, clean, the light in the bathroom was terrible for doing make up tho… sometime very confusing to me why designers don’t include basic understanding of what is expected of such a pricey hotel.

    The room was not properly prepared—no clothes hangers and a toilet with extremely low water pressure that clogged easily. These are basic issues you wouldn’t expect at this price point. The biggest disappointment was discovering the pool was closed for renovations, which was never disclosed at booking. In Miami, that’s a major amenity. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere without hesitation. Service made things worse. We checked in at 7 PM for a one-night stay and asked about late checkout. We were told to call in the morning. When we called at 9:50 AM, we were told it was “too late” despite an 11 AM checkout. I felt completely disregarded which is something that contradicts past experiences I’ve had with this brand. No manager was available to help. Overall, this felt disorganized, poorly managed, and far below expectations. What should have been a great ending to our trip ended up being the most frustrating part. This felt like amateur-level operations with poor communication, lack of basic room readiness, and inflexible, unhelpful service. For a brand that markets itself as upscale and experience driven, this stay missed the mark completely.

    I will never spend my hard earned money and stay here again ! Easter weekend I stayed at the W (they are not cheap ) and unfortunately my room at first glance seemed a bit dated but I tried to remain positive until noticing , peeled wall paper , a BROKEN lamp , peeling lampshade , stained shower floor and chipped furniture ! The broken lamp was placed facing the mirror intentionally in hopes I’d overlook it I guess, how could housekeeping miss this the room is detailed with lot of mirrors. I’m beyond disappointed and dissatisfied, after notifying the manager all I was offered were a minuscule amount of “bonvoy” points , clearly I wasn’t taken seriously . Also if you book here do not use a debit card you will get a surcharge up to $100 immediately swiped from your bank account along with anything you charge to the room . I inquired about this and was met with annoyance from the front desk staff member that I didn’t deserve (her manager explained to me in a bettter tone but that shouldn’t had even escalated to that) . The W brickell does not meet Marriott or my standard at all , I will never book here again ever. My experience here left a terrible impression on me and ruined my stay completely. Every night there made me feel as if I wasted my money just by looking around at my damaged room . I regret my stay so much and I’m m saddened . I sent an email weeks ago with no response, I guess my voice dosent matter either .

    Overpriced for an old dump. The lobby is as gracious as a Motel 6, the bathroom floor tiles are coming up, wash towels weren’t replaced and you have to turn off every light fixture and lamp separately. This place is very old and tired.

    Property is designated 5 star, however it is tired and is not up to the W standards. Poor quality linens, tired decor, slow elevators, issues with door locks, limited outlets for connecting electronics etc. Big spacious room, but more 2/3 star level and certainly no worth 5 star rating or price. Was extremely disappointed.

    The staff was the selling point! Gabriela and another woman with brown hair and glasses who i’m so sorry I forgot her name were amazing! Their communication was above and beyond and put me in a positive mood checking into the place. Absolutely would book with this company again and don’t see myself going elsewhere. The rooms were very clean and everything looked how the photos do!

When calling again, they wanted to send sale people who never showed up and I was ready to go to sleep. Front desk manager did nothing to compensate my stay. Terrible experience and customer service. I should get at least a percentage back on my stay. Not acceptable.

    We stayed here two years ago and we found it to be a good location and a good quality hotel. Since that time the hotel has deteriorated well below what I'd consider acceptable for a W hotel unless their standards have dropped considerably. 1) bathroom and shower had many broker parts 2) no longer provides slippers 3) you have to request the use of robes, as they're no longer provided as a standard, 4) no place to have bedside charging 5) the little alarm clock didn't work and was glued down to the nightstand and invisible at night. Overall run down and not desirable. We will not stay there again.

    Vet disappointed with what was meant to be a five star hotel. It’s actually just a W branded residence tacked onto another residence. Zero slippers or robe to be found in the room and when I called the “Anything Any Time” room service they still couldn’t provide slippers. Half the room was cold marble floor so this was pretty uncomfortable. On the third call I tried reception who were much more helpful (thank you Alejandra) - they finally managed to find the last pair of slippers in the place. Overall the “hotel” is very dated and nothing like the Ws that I’ve stayed at in other countries.

    This hotel is not suitable at all for business travelers who need calm, private spaces for business meetings. There were no lounge areas suitable for meetings, no bar or coffee bar open in the evening ; plastic cups in the coffee bar (yuk); spa access via a service staircase and a parking lot (simply weird and a bit spooky). Definitely not what would be expected from a 5*.

    Nothing The room was super dirty and after I required a change of room (which they did and even apologised about it), the new room was exactly the same, so we had to leave. Even the staff took photos of how dirty the room was. The curtains were torn as if a cat would have scratched them and the rest of the room was full of dust and grease (my son even fell twice because the floor was greasy), the windows and mirrors were splashed… a really disgusting and not worthy of $300+/night hotel tbh.

    The W hotel was absolutely stunning. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean. I was greeted with respect instantly by the amazing staff. The cancellation of my reservation without prior notice or contact is an absolute lack of consideration towards your guests, especially after a long journey. Moreover, the way I was treated by your staff only worsened the situation. When trying to resolve the problem, I was attended by Nasha (or Nashua). When I showed her the Marriott Bonvoy page through which I had checked in, she claimed I was showing her a random page, suggesting she did not know what page it was. When I insisted and demonstrated that it was indeed the correct page, she changed her story, saying it was not the same page I initially showed her. Did she think I was lying to her? To top it off, when we arrived at the reception, she was not even at her post. To make matters worse, I was not notified about the cancellation of my reservation. The reservation was already paid for two nights, yet it was canceled for no apparent reason. Since the reservation was made through a third party, I was not refunded the full amount, which is unacceptable. Additionally, I was forced to pay again on the same day to stay at the hotel.

    The W Hotel has changed over the years. Parking has been outsourced, and you are charged every time you take out your car, plus an overnight fee of 50$. The water pressure in the rooms are really low, and makes it hard to take a comfortable shower. The W also no longer offers room service. The staff is nice and does a great job, but this hotel no longer operates like a 5 star hotel should charging a premium price.

    We had an amazing stay. First time at W hotel and right from the welcome we knew it would be MARVELOUS. Edmond gave great advice for the top restaurants and truly made us feel appreciated! He upgraded us to the best ever suite with our status, the views were stunning and we were so happy with the service, the room and the rooftop pool was so much bigger than expected. We will definitely stay again!! Also, location is great in Brickell. Cipriani and Socialista right downstairs, we don’t have to go far !

    the attentiveness of a front desk person. sadly the hotel didn't have a good spa center - there was no massage option. Another thing was I forgot my jacket in the room and by the time I came back - that same day of a check out they told me they couldn't find it. that's pretty sad. also they wouldn't let the uber eats person upstairs and never had staff available so you'd have to get down to grab food. and the restaurant wasn't working to get room service.

    Hotel room was nicely designed with high end finishes but it was dated. There was cracked tile, lamp switches were old and just laying behind the desk so you had to search for them. There was a glass lamp shade in the bathroom missing. Most items were worn. Sheets had long strings that got caught around my neck. The toiletries were Italian and great. The onsite restaurant had very slow service, the food was mediocre but drinks were good - waiters/staff were great. View from the hotel and restaurant were amazing! For the price, overall, I expected more.

    The only real negative was the $42/night parking. They’re sneaky because the charge by hour. So you get to 10-24 hours is $42. So I wonder who stays at least 1 night but only parks for 9.5 hours? It’s literally impossible if you drive here. This is a sneaky way to say “it’s hourly” when in reality it’s not. So maybe park somewhere else or Uber in.

    Great place to stay. Great service nice facilities. Great location. They need daily Valet parking for guest. Parking options aren’t good. The bedroom doors slam waking up the whole floor.     The hotel is wonderful however it is old. Wallpaper on walls and lampshades was covered with dust. Toilet was not cleaned. While someone made the bed, it appeared that furniture was not wiped down after the previous guest with fingerprints everywhere. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and have never experienced this type of poor housekeeping.

    Generally a nice place to stay. The area is great for dining and walking around. The room was very clean and the decor was fun. A great mini bar selection too. The location however was very loud. Loud music and loud cars all night. We went to use the gym in the morning at the opening time (6am) and everything was still locked and no lights in the hallway.

    There was no room service after 10pm. We had to order Uber Eats and the hotel wouldn't bring our order to our room. We had to go down to the lobby to pick it up. The front desk was manned by 2 people who admitted they were the only 2 employees working in the hotel that night! I tried to call housekeeping because the in-room fridge was making a loud buzzing sound but no one picked up the phone. No one at the front desk also answered the phone. Embarrassing lack of hospitality and service. That said, the room was clean and breakfast the next morning was quick and well made.

    I travel most of the year and this tops the worst hotel experience in a very long time! I would give the hotel itself 3 stars (and that’s generous) and 1 star for the experience of staying here. This is not my first stay here but it got worse every time. I was told before booking the room that they have guaranteed late check out purchase option, at the hotel upon checking in they had no idea what I was talking about. I would not book the room if i was told that late check out was not an option! However, the worst part was the room itself - stains everywhere, scratched furniture with what looks like either feces or blood stains on the walls and curtains, I found a “bride to be” sash in the sheets… don’t think it was left for me there, in room dining is “not available these days”, no even such a simple thing as Netflix on the TV or box of paper tissues on the bed side table.     The hotel and room is outdated. I booked a suite and it was not cleaned besides the fact that I had to wait extra time to check in, it still was not clean. I was very disappointed. Never again. And good luck getting someone to answer the phone for service.

    There was a leak in the ceiling of my bathroom that clearly was dripping toilet water. The bathroom stank like a sewer. I complained several times and it was not fixed. In addition every night between 2-3 AM it sounded as if construction was being done above my room. Totally unacceptable.
