Beautiful property and wonderful spa.

Spa and pool are great but the rooms are just a renovated motel rooms, there is no way they can be 5*

The BEST Adult Hotel in Miami. Loved the vibes, amazing for everyone to feel free and relax!

The spa was peaceful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you for making our stay so special!

The staff was majority extremely pleasant, a few encounters of just not very friendly people but this did not inhibit my stay as I would definitely come back! The food at Lido bar was okay. I do think there could be some improvement. The amenities are amazing!! Definitely the reason I will be coming back again. Would give this hotel a 3.8 rating!!

Unfortunately, their hotels.com marketing is either incorrect or the woman who checked me in was dishonest either way the check in experience and stay was terrible. Didn’t receive the room I booked, she claimed the room type was sold out. The room I received was dirty and filled with small black flies. I wouldn’t stay here again, there are much better places to stay!

The standard spa is without question one of the best if not best hotels Miami has to offer. We have been staying since 2018 and it never fails to inspire relaxation to the next level.

They were very dog friendly but not anymore. Rude employees who act like they don’t care. My phone in room never worked the whole time I was there. I was told 3 times someone was coming to fix it.

Over the years I’ve loved staying at the standard. However this year a noticeable change in culture. There were too many electronics in both phone and laptop form for a pool spa environment people go to relax, too many speaker phone loud convis and too many gen z wanna be influencer types in the form of ‘club member’ for a day. The pool service was slow and hard to find. And food quality and drink quality has gone downhill since recent changes. Aesthetically things look the same but what has always been a cool boho culture of mixed sophisticates is long gone. Maybe along with being a kids free spot Gen Z should be included in this until they learn basic rules of how to interact with society and not digital devices.the club members brought their cell phones in the spa despite the no cell signs

Love this hotel! We arrived on a day when it was uncharacteristically packed and we couldn't check in right at 4p (some final night of a cruise taking over the hotel, eye roll), but our other days we're amazing. tbh, we never left property. It's such a great getaway.

The restaurant, called The Lido is one of the best in Miami with outdoor seating overlooking the water. It is not a beachfront property, located over a short bridge about 10 minutes west of Alton Road. The location provides lovely sunset views, which are rare in the East-facing beach resorts. (For some guests the rooms may feel a little claustrophobic and dark due to their design which I consider handsome and conducive to a cool respite from the Miami heat: a great space for a good nights sleep.) The service is professional and friendly. (A "shout-out" to Rhonda at The Lido for taking such good care of me, a solo traveler.) Spring for a room with a private patio and outdoor soaking tub. I believe that the rates, although not inexpensive are a very good value, especially given the cost of many oceanfront resorts in the area. I appreciate the sophistication of the guests, many European, who respect my privacy. (and liberal leanings). Lastly this place is quiet and secluded, a rare treat in the overcrowded and noisy bustle of South Beach.

Great location. The spa was great besides it being crowded and the paddle bikes out on the ocean were a fun amenity. The front desk staff was lovely but the bald guy at the pool was rude and clearly hates his job. The rooms are dated - to say the least. Not worth what the rates are.

This is an older building, they have zero parking and you will get towed if you park in the parking spaces that are in front of the building, unless you have a scooter or bike . The valet is extremely expensive.

Service was really terrible this stay because 20% gratuity is automatically added to everything. Management will take no complaints. My spa treatments were almost half the time booked for and I was told they did everything they could and finished early. They can always repeat massage moves over for smaller people. Room service menu has changed with limited selection. Hot tub was body temp only and pool did not seem heated. It is beautiful property and spa. For almost a grand a night with fees there should be great service not scammy service.

This was our 3rd time here, we stayed during the week . The hotel vibe, location , pool and spa were amazing. However, for the pricing the staff by the pool and bar left a lot to be desired. My wife misplaced her sunglasses and got deferred to 4 different people , with responses like “I don’t know, I got here an hour ago” . Dinner at the bar the service was so slow we never saw anyone come by to check up, offer more drinks or even settle up. The pool staff was even worse, typical wait for any help was 20+ minutes, if ever. Others were complaining on the wait, and after the first order there was no return . In fairness, the pool felt understaffed , but again the hotel needs to figure that out. We genuinely like the hotel, its unique and a great experience , so bummed that it was not what we hoped like the last two visits

When we arrived we were shown to a room that did not have a bath bathtub out on the terrace as I originally booked. I had changed dates and there was some problem with communications between Expedia and the hotel. The service is always wonderful there and the atmosphere amazing but a second problem is that there are too many people by the pool and there are no chairs. I’ve stayed there many times in the past and this was the first time that we had this problem. I think they have oversold memberships to the pool that are not actually guests of the hotel. If you charge a resort fee, you should have a chair for every guest by the pool.—period!

The staff was mostly good and the spa and pool too were great. However the basic room is small and not everything was as expected. The food is expensive but good. Since there are no restaurants near the hotel, one is compelled to eat at the hotel which is pricey. But the evening bar and its staff are amazing and of high quality.

It’s a great property with a wonderful spa and pool. Shout out to the manager Layal and front desk staff Shaun and Charlene who were super helpful when winter storms caused me to extend my stay. (How lucky!) Room service is excellent, pleasant and fast and open until 11. Love the staff in the cafe as well.

check in was at 430pm on a room I called about and they let me know they would get me in earlier- room you could hear the toilets flush and the hot water didn’t work for the tub outside. staff could care less about helping you and it’s impossible to get anyone in the phone. it’s a shame because ibe stayed here for years the standards around the world but something has just gone down hill about this location :(

The entire property feels like a hidden oasis — beautifully designed spaces, lush corners to get lost in, and views that completely reset your mood the moment you arrive. The pool and deck were the highlight for me. I loved being able to jump straight into the water, grab a drink, and just settle into the day. The cocktails were great, the service was easy and friendly, and everything just flowed. The whole spa experience is top-tier too — the sauna, steam room, and cold room circuit had me feeling like a new person. Booked a couples massage and was really nice and fantastic. The Standard amenities always deliver and the property does very well with what it offers. Bed: Compfy and clean as usual Areas of improvement: Front desk service. Very cold and uninterested. When checked in I was told “nothings changed since your last visit, nothing new to share” Attendant did change my room to a more quiet walkway which I was super appreciative about and I was thankful for that accommodation. Check out was very quick and to the point. My room did not have toilet paper and wash rags. Had to request. It was taken care of though as soon as we requested which was nice. Also ran out of Shower bath wash. We requested more and it was never filled. I will return of course! I love the Standard. My biggest feedback is just that the front desk team should carry the same kindness and pleasantry as the rest of the staff on the property. Maybe it was an off day.

Not the place to stay if you want a quiet night’s sleep. Definitely the place if you want a quirky modernised art deco motel party feel with music and party sounds most hours of the day and night. On another occasion, while walking back to our room from the Lido restaurant, my fiancé and I were unexpectedly stopped and questioned about which room we were staying in, only to be told the pool was closed—even though multiple people were in the pool and sitting nearby. We were clearly dressed for dinner and simply passing by, so the interaction felt unnecessary and awkward. Overall, a nice stay with beautiful surroundings, but some service aspects could be improved to match the high standard the hotel aims to set.

We’ve stayed here numerous times in the past 10-15 years and the location, pool, garden, hammam and rooms are always relaxing. We haven’t seen any upgrade to the rooms, only the spa since we were members over 10 years ago. No outlets, no coffee bar, tiny TV, deteriorating finishes. The crowd has changed too, a lot more gay men.

Hotel is very nice but the rules for the amenities are very strict.. They didn’t let me bring in my sister as a guest to the pool even for a short 15 mins visit and requested 100 dollars for that. No one of the staff members had any flexibility to the situation. It was a regular middle of the week morning without many people at the pool.

It was my 6th year anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond in making my day special. The resort amenities are world class and pristine and the spa facilities are truly unique. I booked another room for the end of the month. I highly recommend - my favorite hotel in Miami Beach!

room and location were nice. The patio attached to the room was bare - only 2 chairs, no table, plants, decor anthing. The spa was nice, but people are so loud in there. Superb location & beautiful decor I’ve stayed at the hotel many times over the last couple of years. Unfortunately both service and comfort went down a lot. The staff isn’t as attentive and friendly as it used to be. Wouldn’t recommend considering the high price.

A good location with a beautiful view of the bay and a great pool. Rooms are a bit old and if you're on the ground level they are dark and not as nice as the rooms on the second floor. Recommend requesting a room on the second floor if you're staying.

Rooms are terrible, out dated , very noisy, mattresses very hard. Should be a $200 a night hotel in this condition

Hunger Games of Pool Loungers. There should be restrictions on reserving pool loungers, every morning by 7am every pool lounger was taken by bags and shoes, NOT ACTUAL PEOPLE. I stayed for 4 days and not once was I able to get a lounger even though I was at the pool by 7am.

Everything is so relaxing here, from the view to the pool to the music, staff, food....Ah.....

Love meeting new people and also people I already knew while lounging by the pool

Beautiful pool with an old-time feel, tropical gardens and of course the sexiest clientèle and good identity. The food has gotten quite good and the restaurant by the water is a rare gem in Miami... Gorgeous. A good size with a true 'outdoor tropical feel' rather than endless indoor hallway and elevators (which won't last since they've decided to raze half the property and build up). Unfortunately, after 10+ years of coming here several times a year the front of house staff NEVER helpful, attentive, present or useful. I won't go into detail but there really is a lack of empathy, hospitality, appreciation and generosity which I find deeply disappointing. There is a serious management issue here and a lack of training...while I know housekeeping, maintenance and others work so hard to keep the property in shape, you would imagine being welcomed perhaps by a smile rather than total indifference.

Well appointed and clean. Pool area was great. Felt very safe. Staff provided everything we needed. Room was little but cute and had what we needed.

Spa is a nice amenity, pool is nice, food was good, drinks were crazy expensive at the speakeasy

I have come here many times since 2010 and often on my own, and the staff always makes you feel so welcome!

Não é o melhor quarto de hotel que você ficou. A cama é pequena, o chuveiro é ruim mas o hotel tem tanta coisa além, nesse quesito muito melhor que os hotéis né NY. Tem um jardim lindo, cheio de cantinhos pra você se sentar e relaxar é uma fogueira com espreguiçadeiras, um spa completo com a sauna mais linda, uma piscina enorme que começa bem rasa e vai ficando funda, como se fosse uma praia. A parte mais funda é larga o suficiente para treinos de natação e toca música embaixo d’água !!! No fundo da piscina tem uma jacuzzi com água gelada, para recuperação é uma jacuzzi com água quente que tem uma cachoeira de água quente que entrou na minha lista das melhores experiências da vida!!! Não conseguia sair. O atendimento na recepção é bem blasé , engraçado por que, em todos os outros lugares : café, piscina, restaurante e sauna os funcionários são mega gentis e cuidadosos!! Um dia eu fui treinar na piscina, quando terminei tinha um copo de água gelada me esperando ao lado da minha espreguiçadeira!! Atenção aos detalhes!!! Eles tem uma bicicletas elétricas que você pode alugar! Não faz o menor sentido, elas ficam paradas o dia todo, e máquina parada quebra. Seria muito mais gentil oferecer as bicicletas para os hóspedes, sem cobrar!! O Hotel não é barato, daria pra fazer isso!

Beautiful hotel and spa

Rooms are small/dated and have not changed in 10yrs.

The hostess at the standard restaurant was SO kind and I am very grateful to her for making my Christmas ok. Thank you!!

Adults-only hotel, very well decorated, well located, the staff were extremely kind, very good pool, shame that the day we went it was very windy preventing us from using it and the next day there was not a single chair to use.

Relaxing nature and great scenery

The standard is where we go for a couple days of respite when we need a break from work. We live in Fort Lauderdale and took the Brightline down and had a wonderful three days of Rest. The standard is funky and unique.! The food was amazing and we spent a lot of time in the outside bathtub

The Spa Bugs in the room, non informative staff, room service never answered the phone, musty smelling room, the staff nor the manager really made things right and didn’t offer much to compliment the stay despite all the horrible aspects that came with a $700 room.

Hotel is good but needs soundproofing from upstairs guests. Restaurant has declined and service and food was not what it used to be. Still love the standard.

Food is fair. Staff is some good some not so good. Pool chair are terrible, very uncomfortable.

Despite the property being slightly tired (something I hear they’re addressing) - the hotel is really well run. The staff makes a huge difference - friendly, helpful, efficient. Lots to do. And just pleasant all around.

The location is prime. The room. Lots of space but strange layout. No real desk to work. Tiny shower. Jacuzzi and Bathtub almost next to each other and looked upon from a corridor literally next to the bar. I guess for someone to invite a bunch of ladies straight from the bar into his room this could be appealing but to everyone else not. Communication on the category room was confusing too. I received an email for an upgrade but upon checking in it was not clear to me what room this was meant to be. If this was intended as the upgrade then I’m not keen to know what the other rooms might be like. Probably a great hotel for 20 year olds wanting to party.

smells like sewage, septic tank at room 5 which is next to the kitchen as well.

Everything was good the only they need is more people around the pool get the towels licked up so you know if someone is there or not. There’s never enough lounge chairs. There’s towels everywhere on chairs and don’t know what’s what. It would make a big difference at the pool area if this was a priority.

The best hotel in Miami, sometimes overpriced and unaffordable. So just need to wait for slow time when prices are below 200. Also expect extra charges

Love this hotel! Incredible service! Great yoga class and incredible spa - all complimentary with stay! We used paddle boards on the bay and saw wild dolphins - incredible experience. Love it all!

The Lido menu could be a little more interesting, so we dined elsewhere one evening when we had originally planned not to leave the property at all.

Beautiful grounds and fantastic staff. With all the ammenities you can do a bunch of different things or nothing at all. Either way it's a great time!

The rooms are average at best. Aside from pool not worth the stay.

This is my go-to hotel in Miami. The amenities are incredible, the bay is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food and drinks are delish. The spa is also AMAZING!

It’s a very nice property best amenities in Miami

Very clean and front desk staff was helpful and welcoming. Restaurant staff were not as attentive. Did not have our water until our food came to the table. The server at dinner only came by in the beginning to take the order and at the end for the check. The server during lunch was hospitable. Food was good
