    Room was not very clean. Table had eye lash hairs, water marks from drink cups so hasn’t been wiped. Green couch had obvious dirt and needed a vacuum. Bed was clean. Side table had makeup residue. Bathroom light switch had makeup on wall. Walls were scuffed and dingy

    Ok, I never write reviews.... but this is necessary. Please keep looking for another hotel. We are WELL seasoned travelers and this was like staying at holiday inn express and Ritz Carlton prices.

    The location and staff Everything was fine but I think the rooms should be more clean mopped and vacuumed daily. I believe the hotel could improve its attention to cleanliness. Even if not daily, the bed sheets should be changed at least every two days. There was a stain on the sheets when I arrived, and they were not changed throughout my stay, which was disappointing. It’s not because the housekeeping staff is bad there were lovely and helpful but the hotel should improve the cleanliness in the rooms.

    The good - the LOCATION, decor was nice, there is a spacious balcony with seating, fridge and dishes in the room was convenient, and the bed was very comfortable. The bad - they could maintain the space better. The hallway was stuffy, and the paint on the ceiling, in the shower was peeling badly. I used the bathroom in the lobby and the button to flush the toilet did not work properly. Then there's the service. I made a reservation for 2 and we didn't have enough towels. We called 3x for towels. We got complimentary water at check-in. When we asked for another bottle the second day, they never sent it up. Overall, it's a nice hotel but the experience is lacking.

    Not sure where to start! I booked this place for the roof top. I was doing work there at 6 pm security kicked me off saying area is closed!! Why?? Then I went to the gym later and they also kicked me out at 10. Which hotel does not have a 24 hour gym. The lights were on. No one was there and they just kicked me out for no reason there’s also a whole maze of a system between residence and hotel guests, and you can’t access a lot of the doors without being a resident as they have these biometric scans so I ended up getting stuck between two doors on the rooftop for 30 minutes with no help and only by accident someone saved me. Overall horrific experience stay away. Also steam room is advertised, but it’s within the spa that has very limited hours and also within the maze that Hotel residence don’t have access to. all nonsense.

    Housekeeping was very inconsistent and we had to complain twice in a 4 day stay as basic tasks were not completed such as replacing towels, washing glasses and on our final night we received no housekeeping at all until we complained at 6pm at night. Unlike other SLS properties, this one does not provide complimentary bottled water (other than one complimentary offer at check in) and you have to pay for those thereafter. This is utterly unacceptable in my opinion for a hotel of this calibre. The safe did not work, items were missing from the mini bar and we had to ask for additional bathrobe (only one in a double room). It wasn’t bad it was just irritating and not a good level of service. Room is lovely and huge and great decor. Pool is fab and the pool staff great.

    For even one night if you want to get more than one hour of sleep. The hotel sits directly over a club they have no responsibility for, or discretion over. The club has no consideration for the hotel patrons seemingly playing the worst selection of “music” at maximum volume from opening to closing at 5 AM. It’s as though every song was chosen to maximize window rattling bass lines and vocals. I imagine the equalizer on their set up has the treble turned all the way down and the bass turned to maximum levels. I happened to be in room 201 which was ground zero for the assault I endured until after 5 AM. It was impossible to sleep because I didn’t happen to be comatose at the time. I don’t understand how the hotel can, in good conscience, sell any room within earshot of the club. I called down to the front desk three times. Once through the room phone and twice through my cell when no one picked up. I wouldn’t pay any price, or even accept the room for free, to be subjected to the endless barrage for another night. The next morning the hotel management did absolutely nothing to accommodate me when I confronted them face to face. I left my contact information for the manager but nobody followed up. Terrible customer service.

    The stay was ok. Location is great. The one star is because imI used valet parking and my car was returned reeking a smell of weed. I did not noticed it as soon as I got in but after a couple os minutes I was getting sick because of the smell. This is so terribly wrong and disgusting. This just shows how poorly the supervision and training of the valet drivers are. The hotel has high end and upscale customer but the service is subpar.

    The first night I arrived it was unbearably hot. They came to fix the AC twice and it still didn’t work. They did give us a different room but we had to wait until the following afternoon. The elevator also kept breaking down so we had to walk from the 7th floor multiple times. This is very unusual for the SLS Lux. I’ve stayed there many times and did not have this problem.

    The elevators were out of service constantly throughout our three-day business trip. During the heat of summer, this made walking up and down several flights of stairs an absolutely horrible experience. The staff was nice enough about it, but it’s clear that the property is poorly managed, if being managed at all.

    Hotel did not have water to take a shower. Not one appology, just too bad not our problem that the pipe broke. Had to leave the hotel without taking a shower and paying a lot for this room. Just a bad attitude and experience.

    I’ve stayed here before with no issues, great location. However, during this stay, one elevator was out of service the entire time, and both were down for several hours at one point. A staff member had to escort us via the service elevator, and other guests were also frustrated. My room was missing silverware, and housekeeping misplaced the remote during cleaning and lost it. Aside from these issues, the room and amenities were nice.

    If you are looking for location at Brickell this is the place, but if you want quiet and relaxing nights probably would be a good a idea to look some other location. You can hear the noise of vehicles and motorcycles from the street into the room and even in the bathroom throught the ventilation ducts.

    I understand bring in the city center. Will bring a lot of in and out traffic & quick turnovers. Unfortunately, that should not excuse the fact of cleanliness and sanitation, especially in the times we are in . I showed up at 1 PM for a massage and some pool time before checking into my room. They said they would call me and place my bag in the room when the room is ready I went down at 4 PM after no text or call. Upon going into my room, I immediately noticed cup rings & food stains on the tables from previous guest, as well as clothing, tags and stickers in the restroom and miscellaneous things on the floor. You can tell that nothing was really wiped or even cleaned . Again, considering the high turn and burn at this location, I thought just be reasonable. Let it go and move on. It’s your birthday weekend. Upon approaching the evening night after a very uncomfortable shower I go to lay in the bed and there are literal blood stains on the sheets. I was in disgust. I had a double bed so I moved over to the other bed to sleep the rest of the night but honestly the room looks like it was just put back together not actually sanitized or clean in any form . Very disappointed, considering the price and brand of this hotel to fall so short of the bare minimum cleanness.

    Not just some light bass I’m talking heavy earth moving bass. I was more upset that I have stayed with all 100s of times i never ask for anything. 700 for the room 250 deposit 45 resort fee. The hotel was kindaenough to give me and my son a 50 dolller credit to breakfast. Was a little insulted considered they saw me, walked by the front desk all the way up till 5 AM

    Rooms are exceptional but there was some of the cushin chairs with stains for this level property shouldn’t happen thats just my opinion otherwise i haven’t seen in ling time better rooms and layouts in any other hotels and i do travel a lot again its just a heads up to the management im sure it will be fixed otherwise top notch place to be at

This was quite disappointing. The only real highlight of this hotel is the pool. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food was surprisingly good. If the management invests in better maintenance and cleanliness, this place could be much better.

    Absolutely awful. We were on the second floor and horrendous noise continued until 4am from the club downstairs. No acknowledgement of complaints or apology. Truly, do not stay here it was obscene and was not fit for purpose, we couldn’t sleep at all

    I'd like to give this property a high rating - and could, if it wasn't for one major point: the air quality in the room was so bad (damp, humid, mildewy) that my husband and I found ourselves sick with a respiratory issue the very first morning after sleeping there. We turned off the A/C, opened patio, kept fan on in bathroom, etc. but still woke up to damp clothes and linens. The spaces themselves are huge, and well designed with great amenities (washer/dryer was awesome to have for a long trip). The pool and bar area were wonderful too. Checkin staff was just ok, not super friendly or helpful, and I had to ask for things for the room a few times (coffee pods were never delivered after days of asking). Bellhop was great too. In summary: if you're not sensitive to air quality, this could be a wonderful stay, but it was an absolute deal-breaker for us in ever staying here or recommending SLS LUX in the future.

    We came to the SLS for 6 days right after Christmas! Loved the area, it has everything! Hotel was pretty solid: Staff was nice and friendly, Rooms were huge. Brickell city center is literally downstairs. Would have loved more sun in the room, because of the side the balcony was on, no light would come in. We would have to turn on the lights in order to have brightness. Also balcony had a couch and table with chairs but with stains and rust didn’t make us want to go and relax there. Carpet inside the room had a huge stains which made it a little dirty to walk bare feet. Besides that, the rest was great. Not sure I would stay there again though. The light in the room was a pretty big deal to us.

    This place is very weird. There's no bar nor a restaurant after 5 pm. Also, there were no coffee pods in our room nor a way to have coffee in the hotel in the early morning. The rooms are nice but I would not recommend staying here.

    Not sure why its called lux, it is very nice but not luxurious. Perfect for a stay in brickell. It has washer/dryer and and a microwave. No bell boy to bring luggage up, but works for me. Staff is Ok. It is like a suite hotel, the kind with kitchenette but better looking

    Valet staff aggressive and rude unprofessional asking me to leave the ramp because I won't use their services I said no I'm just dropping my family off and then parking somewhere else cheaper, towels; my dog has better towels than the room it's self it's a shame, they're yellow and totally damaged, AC took 5 hours to hit 72, cofffee pods just 2 with a party of 3-4 ridiculous, bathroom sink damaged I put it off cause we're clogged and extremely dirty paid $500 for this? No soap to wash my hands? Gotta use my shampoo to wash my hands ? It's so difficult to make another reservation on this hotel again, would ask for refund but probably won't be accepted so will review on google and social media so people have acknowledged about $500 stay is

    The location of the hotel is close to everything.. However, the card to get into the room,elevator and Amenities Did not work properly. There was several ppl having issues with the fob card.Bathrroom did not have hand soap. There wasn’t enough pillows in the bed. Also,, The hotel rooms are very dark l, there’s not enough lights . Even if you open the curtains . Still dark in room. We turned on all the lights still dark . The BAR by the pool and food service closes early at 5 PM

    I never write a review but am sadly compelled to in this case. The hotel experience was truly awful. I was in two suites, one of which was on the second floor. My group could not sleep because the music and vibrations were so intense from the club directly underneath them. There was no warning of this. When we complained, we were offered a small discount for one of three nights, and nothing more. There were no towels at the pool at 10am on a Friday. We waited for an hour to receive some. When we got back to the rooms at 5pm after a boat day in need of a shower, we found our rooms had not been made up yet. SLS Lux, you need to do a lot better. Staff was generally pleasant but management is sub par at best. Please stop fully booking your hotels when you lack staff and basic supplies to accommodate the guests.

    Check in and bell service was a very bad experience for me as well. Room was not ready ( I arrived one hour before check in time which is 3 pm, so that is my fault). I left luggage with the concierge while heading to a restaurant outside the property to be able to eat something. When I finally got access to my room luggage never came, the receptionist forgot to instruct the concierge to deliver it. Phone that was given to me to call for it was the general hotel phone number, with a robot answering and taking you to 3 different menues. So I needed to get down to the reception and claim for my luggage in person.

    So my stay is not going great. I’m at home - feeling violated, unheard and upset while some criminal is chilling in 2 bedroom suite in Miami and there’s nobody stopping him while Expedia knows, hotel knows…. There is even his name on reservation. So as I usually really do not leave negative reviews - I am sure this called for one. The hotel might be quite lovely for all I know- I’ve never been there- but I guess I paid for it. I feel violated and upset.
