When guests enter they will be surrounded by expressive décor and style that serve as both a compliment and an innovative contrast to the original Art Deco style of the building. Constructed in 1938, this air-conditioned hotel is one of the most famous constructions in the Art Deco district and was renovated in 2003. It comprises a total of 42 rooms spread over 3 floors. The inviting lobby features a 24-hour reception with a lift and a safe. Further facilities here include a newspaper stand, a restaurant with highchairs for children, and public Internet access. Room and laundry services round up the offerings, and there is parking available for those arriving by car. The brightly coloured funky rooms have Italian marble flooring and all come with an en suite bathroom and hairdryer. Standard fittings include a digital safe, hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV (HBO), CD player and high-speed Internet access. A double bed, carpeted floors, and individually adjustable air conditioning and heating are also provided in all lodgings as standard. All rooms feature kitchenettes with sinks, fridges and coffee makers, dishes, pots and utensils. Guests have access to a small gym across the street with exercise equipment such as treadmills, bikes and weights. The hotel features a terrace with lounge chairs. The lobby features vending machines with a variety of small snack foods.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH!!!! A day before I was scheduled to arrived, I tested positive for covid. I called the hotel and gave them the news to try and see if I could work something out. They told me that "everyone has been exposed" and that I should come anyway as they could handle it. Ultimately, I just decided not to go because gee I dont know, its kind of the responsible thing to do. So if you go, just understand that there could be more people with covid than a hospital. It is one this to have covid but it is another to knowingly allow people to come and put your other guests/families in danger. I will never book a hotel that does not prioritize my health within or outside of a pandemic.

Great location, and nice and quiet, but a little on the shabby side. Our safe, TV and one of the bedside lamps didn't work but as we were out a lot that didn't matter too much. It's USP is its location for the price.

I love how close it was to the strip. Only 5 mins from Ocean Dr. It was outdated and could use a good renovation but it served its purpose.

The front desk guy wasn't friendly at all, he had a very dry attitude and was short on conversation. There's no free parking available at this hotel and I don't remember the website stating that. The room window doesn't work, overall bad experience. Never again

The only negatives we found were no pool and no parking. You have to pay another hotel they work with a block away 25 per day to valet to even have a place to park. But overall we would stay again! Super nice staff and very clean

My room was not cleaned none of the day's I stayed. sheets were not changed. I had to continuously go down to the front desk just to ask for washcloths and towels.

The property was a great price and it was extremely close to ocean avenue. Right down the block from Wet Willies which is my favorite spot in Miami so that part was very convenient. The worst part of the hotel was that the room was not very clean and it smelled very strongly of mildew. When I picked up the phone to call the front desk there was mold all over the phone next to the keypad! The bathroom wasn’t great either. We had to call/ go down to the front desk multiple times to ask for an extra wash cloth and they kept saying they would bring it to the room. They never brought it and never called to check. I’m not sure if all of the rooms were this bad but this room is particular was intolerable. Luckily we only used the room to change and sleep for a couple of hours, otherwise we would have left and found a new place to stay.

the man from the hotel came out and said you sure you want to stay here you are not the kind of people how normally do. we didn't know what to do as the car had been taken off to park and we thought only one night. we dumped our bags to come back later , when we did the room was worst than a hostel, absolutely filthy my wife has photos. so bad we slept in our clothes , screaming and banging all night our friends door didnt close as it should. i cannot tell you how scared and how dirty it was, the night porter said not my hotel i know how bad it is. if my husband hadnt had a drink we would have left but he had 3 beers. we left by 8am . we expect a full refund on both rooms when you see the photos you can understand why.

Place not only look good and is clean but it smells nice too! Staff are great and will go extra mile for guest. The in-room fridge is the only thing these guys need to change and then they'll be perfect. (It is full of over-priced goodies with NO room for your own medicines or water or stuff.)

This hotel looks nothing like their pictures. Not only did they not have us in the room we reserved but it is dirty and run down. Plus the first sign we saw was to tell us water would be turned off between 10:00 and 1:00am. The guy at the desk wasn't friendly at all. Would not recommend this place, we went somewhere else.

A lot of cracked floor tiles needs some real updating. Hallways carpet need major replacement. Room was next to the outside patio on the 2nd for. People were outside the glass doors until 2 am sometime. Bed was uncomfortable.

When we first arrived they didn’t have no where safe for us to put our bags after arriving two hours early, staff never came to clean the room the whole visit, twice our door was left opened a little bit because of house keeping, not bad location because it’s literally two blocks from the strip, bad wall plugs and the ice machine was out for some reason

We were suppose to check in at 3pm but didn’t get into our room to almost 4pm, they had only one housekeeper, they were slaving the boy and the front desk, the shower wasn’t hot, and it definitely wasn’t worth the money. It was very close to the beach though.

•$20 Code for Uber at front desk Cons: #1 Our Ceiling Was Leaking, later found out Everyone's was. Something happened with their pipes.. MY CLOTHES AND MAKEUP GOT WET WITH DIRTY WATER • We did Not receive any wash clothes. We asked 3 times and everytime was told they didn't have any at that moment. They only had 3 towels in our room. (We bought our own wash cloths) • The whole linen set was super cheap. Two of the 4 pillowcases on each bed appeared dirty. (When it gets to that point they need to buy New ones) • Our Sink hot water did not work. • The Maid came in our room and didn't touch ANYTHING. Trash still there, bed sheets weren't changed, No fresh towels, and still no wash cloths, Nothing was done. We had to check our stuff to make sure nothing was taken. WE WERE RARELY IN THE HOTEL, If you're 18 - 25 it might not bother you... You'll come to change and maybe sleep a little. IF MY STUFF WAS RUINED I WOULDN'T Be So Uptight. I HAVE YET TO HEAR ABOUT COMPENSATION OR A DISCOUNT ON THE HOTEL. My stuff isn't cheap. They came up looked and left. The man said nothing when I asked about my stuff.

When I got to the hotel, which I booked over a month in advance, I was told that they are overbooked and do not have a room for me. This is after flying for 10 hours and my flight being delayed for 6 hours and my luggage gone missing. The front desk clerk called Orbitz/Expedia who never called back. I then called Orbitz and spent over 2 hours on the phone with a representative only to be found a room in another hotel. The other hotel looks like something out of Breaking Bad. The Orbitz representatives speak poor English, but honestly it should not take over 2 hours to find a room. I had to pay an extra cab fare to get d on this place to the new hotel. The hotel clerk was very unhelpful in finding a new place and refused to help, he also spoke broken English and was hard to understand.

I would highly recommend this hotel as it offers perfect daily cleaned room with nice equipment inluding coffee maker for a good price. The staff there is very friendly and helpfull. Early check in free of charge was not a problem. It is just two blocks from famous Ocean Drive with Art deco buildings and many restaurants and nearest beach.

Had one wash cloth for double occupancy stay. Requested more from front desk but wasn't avail that night. Had to wait til the next day. Additionally, windows should have thick lining or black outs for the blinding morning sunlight.

Microwave and Refrigerator were also nice and clean. Location of the hotel is terrific. Very close to Beach and Retail stores. CONS: Bathroom was very small. We didn't have Hand soap or body soap in the bathroom. When I asked the Receptionist she said they were out of stock and might come next day but guess what, we never received any soaps even on next day room service. Television was very small like 20 inch screen. There were stains on comforter. Bed was making noice whenever we move or when we sit.

If you looking for something in the Heart of South Beach this is a go to place might be small but who stays in the hotel anyway!!

Room was very small. Good location, near beach and Ocean Dr. Loading zone was not convenient. We had to pay for parking to unload the car near entrance. Parking lot around the corner. $20.00 a day. Street parking is $4 an hour. We stayed 2 nights in route to the Keys.

The hotel is not far from the strip. It's literally a few blocks over. It was really nice . I stay at different hotels all the time because I like to try different places. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel when I come to Miami, it was clean, friendly, not noisy, gave me beach towels and told me where to park. I really liked it and I'm picky. The room was really nice I felt like I was in a studio apartment; very homely. Thanks again guys

Found this hotel last minute and I'm glad I did. It's a very small hotel, note that it's an apartment-hotel. A very nice and clean older small hotel, great personable service, and rooms, while small, were clean and spotless. Location is right in the middle of everything, traffic from Washington Ave. can be heard but by no means was it distracting. Will definitely stay there again, next time I'm in the area.

Came to South Beach and found a cheap place to stay. It's not 5 star luxury, but if you don't want to spend $400+ a night, it does the job. It's right in the center of South Beach, close to the clubs of Ocean Dr and several food places. Rooms are small and dated, simple, but they do what you need.

We had a great time with our front desk host MIGUEL! He was rockstar! Should be promoted to GM of building with his knowledge character and professionalism! His service was seconded to none in the area

Honking by cars outside nightclub next to hotel was annoying. Not sure if honking was done by valet folks or not but at 4-5am, it needs to cease.

Miguel in the reception front desk was super helpful thanks to him traveling by myself he made me feel like home in the hotel . Very friendly employees. I will totally would love to stay there again. Thank you!

The location is great 4 blocks to beach and very good eating. The help very friendly. Hall ways need to be up dated. We live 50 miles away and will stay there again. Price was right.

Wonderful location in the Art Deco district... all of the hotels in this area are a little old, but that's part of the draw! It was perfect for sleeping, showering and getting ready (which is really all the time you should be spending at your hotel in a city like Miami) Will definitely return.

Incredibly nice staff. Really loved the Art Deco style of the hotel. Affordable, clean, close to beach. Loved the solarium roof deck. Would definitely book with them again!

Service was very friendly and I would return down the road.I was told I had the best room 219.The outside Solarium was a nice experience for not having a pool or hotel bar.
