The room I paid for was horrible, reeked of mold, the bathroom ceiling and door was molded. Pet hair and human strands of hair were everywhere. Live and dead roaches were in the room. I made a complaint with the firing desk and was giving another room, which made no difference because it had all the same issues with an added issue of the ceiling falling down. I checked out soon as I seen how bad it was, found another. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it needs to be torn down and remodeled.

We’ve booked this hotel many times for our employees because the service is consistently wonderful. This trip we had a minor issue (our fault, not the hotel’s), and the manager, Gianni, went above and beyond to help us. She handled everything quickly and kindly. We truly appreciate the team here and would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Bed was pretty good. Restaurant downstairs was average. Lady running the restaurant was fantastic! The 2nd building is so decrepit and smelly that it caused nausea and a headache, but could not move rooms, per the front desk employee. Website states airport pick up, but were advised it was not included. Would not recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews and I am conflicted…. Because I love the staff but the property not so much. Number 1, why do I have to pay $16 + to park my car 24 hours in a fenced in area that I need a working room keycard to gain entry, after putting a $100 hold on my card. Doesn’t make since, I can see if it was a open parking area. Number 2, I hope your not a light sleeper because it is directly under the runway of the airport and Number 3, I killed 3 roaches in my bathroom and sink area in a 24 hr stay. I let the front desk know and they apologized 😒..I ask guest next door and they said they had a one in their room… I ask some other guest in the lobby and they said they had none… maybe that’s a 3rd floor issue or a issue in the building behind the pool, which where I was. It was affordable under the circumstances but I was not happy glad it was only for one night, but they need to do better.

Where to begin!?!?!?! The desk person showed NO interest in the customers AT ALL! The pillow cases were stained, and needed to be replaced first off. The paint was peeling in the showers, and the rooms stunk.

Proxiity to Miami International Airport is very convenient. Plentiful parking at secure hotel lot. Friendly staff on both check in and check out. I was displeased with having to pay an additional $17 a day to park at the hotel. This additional charge should be noted on the booking page.

The counter person checked us all in took my deposit and when I asked if my room key opened the gate for parking, he informed me I had to pay for the parking (which wasn’t a problem) but we had to run the entire transaction again. We brought our own sheets, I would suggest you do the same. The pool was nice and there is only coffee in the morning so you have to drive in Miami traffic or door dash breakfast.

Room 220 had mold in the back of the bathroom door. The tub needs caulking. The air conditioner needed a new filter - horrible smell. I had to wipe the touch points down and the wipe came back brown. Had to do it three times to have a clean wipe. Staff was very friendly that was the only upside.

Location next to airport. did not hear the airplanes landing. Good soundproof windows. Nothing local to eat. They had mini-mart in hotel, no prices, but wife asked about a microwave meal and the price was over $12. Can order delivery. We were on 4th floor and found large cockroach crawling across the floor. Gave him to reception on checkout.

Close to the Airport I got there like 5am after my flight landed. Once there, the reception guy told me that they canceled my reservation because I didn’t show up before. Though they had rooms available they made me book a room again and charged almost the double than the app!

Overall, it was enough for 1 night but needs an overhaul. The pricepoint was what made the difference but cleanliness should not be sacrificed! We tried to use the service to drop us off at port through the hotel, but they were so late, we had to get a refund and Uber to port. Driver kept saying "10 minutes...it's very busy" to desk associate but had zero intention of making any effort or giving an honest update. The volume heading into port should not be a surprise.

Staff was great, the area was great, but once I got upstairs second floor to my room, the hallway smelled awful when I opened the door the room smelled like bleach, as if it was cleaned, but once I got in and started looking around, I realize there were hair heavily from the doorway to the sink, hair all in the tub, and around the tub, and by the air-conditioning, there were a lot of sticky spots on the floor that was unacceptable and I did tell the guys at the front desk. I was not offered to exchange rooms or anything. .

Basically…. Do not stay here unless you enjoy roaches. There are roaches everywhere. Staff is well aware that there is a pest problem. Housekeeping has raid on their carts. The rooms are filthy. We moved rooms 3 times due to roaches. On the third time, we left and came back a few hours later… to find people in our room. A terrible experience all around. The food onsite is worse than cafeteria food and very expensive. The pool is clean! Joes apartment is entirely too expensive for what you get. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hyatt down the road.

This hotel was terrible when we first walked in our room was freezing so I said let me turn off the air. The air would not cut off went to the front desk. They told me someone will come. No one came maybe an hour late. I went back downstairs and told him I cannot take this cold air. They said someone will come tomorrow to fix it. I had to leave my room 3 AM in the morning to go sit in the airport because it was too cold in the room never again Expedia I don't know what type of hotels y'all collaborating with. This is no good. First look the room looked clean, but after a little closer check, cleaning staff do not pay attention to details, why roll and organize towels in decorative fashion, but don’t clean under the beds. It was not a bad hotel for 1 night, they had security and had a food place but we got in at 3 am because of delayed flight and I wasn’t happy when I came in the room it was clean but looked ok. My family was ok for one night but I changed when we came back from the cruise. The staff was pleasant and nice, and you were able to buy items that you left at home. We purchased toothbrushes and tweezers( which I needed so bad) and also some nail clippers. The food options for lunch smelled and looked good and the staff was pleasant, biut we had to get to the port which is 20 min. away given the traffic there. They did have a pool which we didn’t use and it was cold there and the pooled did look clean. The main lobby can use some sprucing up , those pictures or should I say the couch needs to be upgraded.We had to go though the main entrance then out another door to get to our rooms and the entry way wasn’t all that great far as cleanliness but it was an ok place to lay your head for one night. You do have food places within 15 min. Like I said the rooms were clean but need a little upgrading but ok for a night. You could purchase snacks and drinks at the front desk which was great giving the time we came in.

Black mold all throughout the room & it had a horrible smell as well as floor was very dirty & fan in bathroom full of dust. Then to top it off, the pool was absolutely disgusting.. gross film all over the top of it.

I turned on the lights in the middle of the night and saw many “visitors” - roaches - enjoying the room for free. Truly disgusting. 150$ for that was throwing the money by the window. Was great for the price. Room was actually really quiet considering proximity to the airport. My coffee maker didn't work and the keys were kind of a pain (had to have it in the door just right to work). I also wish they didn't charge for coffee in the lobby or parking or would be 5 stars. My room was clean and staff up front were super duper friendly, though. Great for a no frills place to crash!

This is a terrible representation of this hotel. Completely unacceptable while traveling with my child who had to wait to check in over an hour and a half and was warned my third party reservation might not be valid because it was after “11pm” and would be considered for the next day the 31st. While there was only one person at the front desk and over 10 people waiting to check in, everyone also had to endure the wait while even longer while he was taking phone calls and not attending the guests. Severely understaffed and just poor service. After that excruciating wait, I was finally checked in after 1 am. I would like to be either reimbursed or a discounted rate for a later stay to say the least.

We chose this hotel due to a canceled flight. It was late in the evening. The clerk who checked us in first said there were no rooms available. He then proceeded to check using my ID and found the reservation. It was total chaos. The clerk was talking to a security agent, trying to sort out a problem. Finally, he sent the other clerk to investigate. Had to answer the phone several times and stopped to sell some alcohol because it was close to midnight. The hotel room appeared clean. The hallway carpeting was dirty. There was a dirty diaper on the floor, and the coffee area had dried coffee all over the counter. One of our towels had a knot of hair stuck to it.

The rooms need an overhaul. They didn’t even have a box of tissues in the room. Their website stated transportation available to the airport and they don’t; they need to update their website telling that there is no transportation to the airport. In the middle of the night, most of the hotel or all lost power. Half of our room had power and the other half did not . Maybe they should update the wiring in the hotel. The only compensation they gave was that we could stay in our past checkout time. Just not a good stay at all. And it wasn’t cheap. With tax we paid 184 for the night. I would’ve expected much more than what we got.

When we checked in, the guy didnt talk very loud so you could hardly hear him. He then tols us there was a $16 a day parking fee on top of the room fee. he also said they used to do breakfast but not anymore. they have a small kitchen ans food truck. well the food truck wasnt open in 7 days and the tge little kitchen thing opened one time and that was it. the room itself is ok. nothing great. bed is not comfortable. tv ports dont work so you cant plug anything in to watch movies. i will definitely look for someplace nicer the next time.

I was in building 2 on the 3rd fl. The entire 3rd floor smelled bad. It smelled like mold and pee. I was booked for two days. No one swept or moped the elevators. Nor did anyone vacuum the carpets in the hallway. When I woke up i felt so stuffy i felt like I was getting sick due to the mildew molding smell. Had issues with the other hotel we booked and was thankfully able to get a room here last minute. Was able to check in early around 12. Room was as expected for a Red Roof Inn. Nothing spectacular but clean and AC worked well. Did have to pay almost $20 to park overnight so just beware of that if you plan to bring your own vehicle.

Unexpected charge over $50 to park in near-empty lot; maintenance level on par with budget hotels; flat pillows; VERY noisy - thin walls allow noise from all surrounding rooms and hallways; SLOW internet; toilet doesn't flush solids; poor water pressure in shower; lots of unwelcoming signs in lobby noting all the services this hotel does NOT do; room littered with pizza flyers every single day. For all the reasons noted above, this property is WAY overpriced. It is a budget level hotel trying to pretend it is an upscale property.

Worst stay we have had. No shuttle even though the reservation and website states there was one. Walked in to the room and find three bugs crawling in the first minute of being in there. Room smells like urine and is very poorly maintained. TV wasn’t even plugged in. I had them move our room, the second room at least had less of a smell and no bugs, but again, poorly maintained. Please note this is right next to the airport, we expected noise due to this- but it is VERY noisy. To where we would need to stop in the middle of every other sentence because you could not hear.

I checked in extremely late on Christmas morning. I was supposedto arrive Christmas Eve. I called numerous times with updates. The staff was accomodating. I paid for the whole 4 day stay in full at check in. The money was taken out of my account immediately. I checked out 2 days early my money was refunded within an hour. Two days later I WAS CHARGED FOR THE FULL STAY AGAIN. My bank account was emptied with no explanation. Then the confusion started. The front desk couldn't see the charges because it was pending. The names used to take my money and refund my money were different so the the bank couldn't see the transactions clearly and because the funds were pending until I explained it. Meanwhile, I have no money and no explanation. The bank said I authorized the payment and I had to convince them to file a claim to get my money back. It was finally replaced on New Years Eve. No money to prepare for New Years was extremely frustrating when you're one of the people caught in the check to check rat race that tried to do something special for the family for a change.

I stayed overnight after disembarking a cruise ship and prepare to fly home the next day. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. I liked that the hotel had a cafeteria and food from the menu was made to order. There was also a food truck outside but I didn’t check them out. The rooms were clean and comfortable but a little dated. I felt safe and it’s a great stop over for going to the cruise ships and the airport.

The photos most definitely do not match the hotel’s appearance. I primarily booked this hotel to be close to the airport & to use the airport shuttle that was included in the hotel only to find out the shuttle hasn’t worked for the past 18 months!!!! The tub looked atrocious, the food truck was broken down as well, & to put the cherry on top the power goes out while I’m in the shower & stays out for an hour. I wouldn’t let my dog book this hotel if she could. Horrible

The room was neglected, No running water, roaches, I requested bottom floor got the 4th floor in the back of the property- though staff was kind enough to put me next to a loud elevator howling all nightlong. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and kind I’ll say that first. But the overall condition of the rooms very poor! It’s very close to the airport which is great! But the rooms are very old and it shows. The shower has little to no water pressure make sure you bring your wine shampoo and conditioner there’s only shampoo kind of it barely comes out couldn’t really wash my hair. I wouldn’t stay there again if it were my choice but for the cost it’s ok I guess. Very loud you hear everything the lobby looks nice so that’s fine and they have coffee with flavored creamer. Which is a nice addition. Parking over night is $17 a day didn’t plan on that other hotels in the area are far cheaper if you are just parking for airport reasons but other properties close to the airport don’t charge for parking if you’re staying there . They also charge $100 deposit which seems crazy since there isn’t anything to really buy. I mean if you just need a bed it’s fine I guess pillows are small and more like flat hospital pillows

As soon as I walked in, I noticed: Visible dirt and grime under the bathroom light and fixtures. Mold and water damage on the walls near the tub and floor. Caulking that was cracked, peeling, and stained. A wall light cover with brown stains running down the side. The overall smell of the room was damp, as if the moisture problem has been there a long time Even the small details were neglected, switches and surfaces were dusty, walls were patched badly, and nothing gave the impression of a “PLUS+” quality hotel. I didn’t feel comfortable showering or walking barefoot because of how unclean everything looked. I understand this is an airport hotel, but basic cleanliness should be a priority, especially for the price. The staff was polite, but unfortunately the room condition overshadowed anything positive. I will not be staying here again, and I would not recommend it unless they perform a deep cleaning and maintenance throughout the rooms.

First - The rooms Smelled really bad. Second - one of the 3 rooms we rented for our family reunion had bugs. When my daughter changed her room, the next room had bugs. She ended up changing to a 3rd room that wasn't any better. Our room, the bathroom door had to be shaved so as not to hit the toilet when opening and closing (it still did). The whole experience was just too much - we ended leaving a day early to find another hotel completely.

This was by far the worse hotel I’ve ever been in, in my life. The first room had a large puddle/leak on the floor. Second room smelled of smoke and had someone else clothes underneath the bed. Whole hotel smelled of smoke. Rooms smelled of smoke. I don’t even want to sleep in the sheets. Disgusting. We really didn’t have a choice to stay here. Our flight was canceled and everything else in the area was booked. I never would have stayed here willingly.

I didn't end up staying there, because they would not accept cash. I reserved the room with my card, and when it came time to stay the night, they would not accept cash for the room deposit. I spoke to two ladies. The first lady just gave up and let her supervisor explain, but she explained nothing, saying their computer told them they couldn't do it. It makes no sense why they wouldn't accept cash. I will never stay at a Red Roof inn again. So, I went across the street to La Quinta, where they happily accepted the cash.

The key card’s des configuration is every time you left the room .. at the little groceries store that they have is everything expensive than the airport( 5 dollars for a small bottle of water ) and you have to pay 18 dollars for the parking lot daily .. really bad hotel

Fixtures in the room was disgusting looked as if they haven’t been wiped down in ages, floors in the bathroom was nasty, the area in which the hotel was in was littered with graffiti, I had to walk almost 10 minutes to go to a gas station to get snacks because there was no eateries in the area

My family and I have been waiting for a refund on the room because it was unclean, the air conditioner wasn't working properly. There were roaches and dead bugs on the floor. Also, there was a big opening on the floor next to the ac unit. Also, when you leave out of the room right across from the elevator is a picture on the wall that appears to have dried throw up all over it. This was one f the worst experiences my family and I have ever had at any hotels that we have stayed whether long term or short. We are requesting a refund for this unsatisfactory stay.

The window did not open. Also, we asked the staff about shuttles to the port. The shuttle cost about the same amount as taking an uber. The elevator that was closest to our room kept breaking down. I had problems with walking and could not walk down the stairs. Had to walk to the other end of the floor to the other elevator.

The room I was put in had mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom,the chain door lock looked like it had at some point been kicked in and was reattached just a little higher, and the peephole was smashed in.The building smelled like smoke,there was ice on the floor even though house keeping was in the hall cleaning rooms,the room smelled aggressively like bleach,the light fixtures and door frames were rusted,all the doors had dings all over them which was alarming,the walls are falling apart, and everything was incredibly overpriced.I was moved to a second room which didn’t have a bashed in peephole.

This hotel advertises that they have a free airport shuttle. They do not have a free airport shuttle and said they only have a picture of a shuttle on their website. Our toilet overflowed and I was told that there was no one available to fix it to turn off the shut off valve. After a couple of hours, someone came, but the next time I use the toilet it overflowed again.

We were in a 7-night stay in the red roof+ Miami airport, not wanna say it was terrible, but for the same price, I could get something better, but a wanted to give them the opportunity. Our keys didn’t work and had to go every time to the front desk when we were coming back to the hotel, the elevator didn’t work for 4 days. And the guy in the front desk wasn’t very nice, but the girls were, also housekeeping girls were very nice at us. In general, was a poor experience

The 2 small windows together it’s very blurry not clean it’s bunches of fingers prints that haven’t been cleaned in long time ,can’t open windows to get some fresh air air at all ,under the sheets always have some reds shedding not sure where the cone from it it’s white sheets ,tv didn’t work work or even be able to turn it on at all , keeped calling them to get my refund that I put deposit told me 5 to 7 days but took them long time to get my refund back !!! House keeper are so great their respectful question is can I got back to the same hotel I would say nope and noooo 😖😖 the have where smokers and swimming poll are closer together had surgery where I was not supposed to near the smokes but I can tell you the had some people where smoking inside near me

I canceled my return stay and booked at another nearby hotel. Someone needs to update the Expedia website because the hotel amenities are not correct. No complimentary breakfast. No shuttle to and from the airport which is crazy for a hotel near the airport. We had to DoorDash/Uber Eats for food & $5 for a personal size pop… I could go on and on.

They use to have shuttle svc from airport to hotel. Not available in july.the use to have continental breakfast no longer avsilable in july 2025 .they do have sorte of canteen svc for food but if you book for cruise continental bkfas was good. There is however shuttle svc to port at $$. Still ok

I got the premium room or whatever they called it. The room was dingy and gross and immediately in front of the elevator. Room service never came around or gave me towels or clean sheets. There were not one but TWO fights outside my door in the middle of the night my first night—the last fight was at around 3 a.m. People were slamming doors and yelling down the halls and taking phone calls in the hallways at all hours of the night. The entire floor reeked of marijuana, so I had to smell that every night. Plus all the airport noise—this was a miserable stay.

Airport noise, almost no transportation, but they charge nearly 20$ per night for parking on the side of the road. Rooms smell humid. To avoid the smell, their AC is set to super low. Old and needs renovation. Never staying here again.
