Location and pool is the biggest advantage. Beautiful view from top floors. Having Zuma on the ground floor was a great addition as well. Front desk staff not trained to the level of 5 star hotel. There is definitely a big gap between service in European and Middle Eastern 5 stars hotel and this one.

I’ll start by saying I’m pretty chill and low maintenance, however I feel compelled to share my Awful experience, long story short…never stay here unless you absolutely must. The room was FILTHY, the tables had sticky liquid on it, the floors were FILTHY! My feet were black on the bottom from walking on the floors, there was what I believe to be public hairs in the shower, the bathroom floor had make up all over, the iron had something sticky all over the handle…disgusting, the phone was COVERED in foundation. And a little cherry on top, I left an expensive hat behind and of course “it wasn’t found”. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me!

The parking situation was terrible I’m not going to lie. The guys just stand around talking amongst themselves and when you ask for help with valet or parking directions they act like you’re interrupting their conversations. They hardly speak English so there’s a language barrier there. Be sure to bring your own snacks, water etc. everything costs & they put a $10 price tag on a bottle of water. It’s just not a pleasant experience. Hospitality was not there at all. Do yourself a favor and book another hotel where you don’t have these troubles. It’ll be a great inconvenience to your stay. Don’t even bother.

My second time staying here. I think the staff is top-notch. They are so helpful at the Valet and Front Desk, which is so rare. They genuinely are caring and thoughtful. Zuma is fun as the restaurant downstairs. The Sunday brunch was unbelievable! The rooms were very nice and I love having the balcony. We enjoy the pool. The music is great and having a restaurant right there is perfect. Truly an awesome experience!

My stay at the Kimpton Epic was exceptional as usual. From the bellman to the front desk staff and housekeeping. Everyone was super eager to assist. No request seemed as an inconvenience. Rooms were clean. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. Everything was amazing. 3rd stay here and will definitely be back.

The location is perfect — right in the heart of Downtown Miami, close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and major attractions. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had amazing city views. The bed was very comfortable, and all the amenities were high quality. What really stood out was the attention to detail and customer service. Every interaction felt genuine, and the team went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel facilities were also excellent, creating a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Kinton Hotel to anyone visiting Miami. Whether you’re traveling for business or vacation, this hotel offers an outstanding experience in every way!

this place had the potential to be better... Rooms are not that clean, headboard had some stain on it and the bedding is thin and cheap, I get it it hot but the entire bed felt really budget, they Charge $10 dollars for a bottle of water which they actually put a circle sticker like the ones you use for a yard sale. on the cap written in pen $10 super tacky. There are no slippers, and the robes provided one was wet and the other had a stain, so from the begining we were kinda grossed out. The pool area isn't well taken care of, really basic cheap sun beds, No shade and its just Baren and dusty there is no ambiance what so ever at the pool or in the rooms. There was mold in the bathroom, maybe expected? I dont know but Nothing is bringing me back to this place, and the $55 dollar a night parking is a bit steep. Staff was very kind.

Loved everything about this hotel. Location was perfect. We booked a suite and it was lovely and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children with amazing views. We enjoyed the complimentary wine in the afternoon and as we stayed during valentines/galentines, the children loved the complimentary treats in the lobby. Would love to return

We were very excited to stay in the heart of Brickell and unfortunately the noise didn’t stop all day and night. The construction was really disturbing even at 3:00 AM. The staff wasn’t that attentive and dismissive. In addition, the food at the hotel wasn’t that great except for the morning room service. This will be my last time staying at the Kimpton Epic hotel.

Quality issue on amenities - TV remote didn't work, pool qualities on everything from bedding to tissue. Toiletries not filled. Room was a bit dated with some wear and tear. Nickel and dime on almost everything. Only bright spot was the Zuma brunch experience.

Our stay was fine, we didn’t spend too much time at the hotel. Our room view was nice but all of our bedsheets had stains, which we would consider unacceptable for a “luxury hotel” in a major city like Miami. Our housekeeping lady was nice though and she changed our sheets when we requested it. We didn’t stop by the pool area but it looked nice from our balcony.

A crack in the bathroom sink, wood chipping/ paint stripping on some baseboards, my privacy (do not disturb) light was not working. The balcony door was very hard to open and close. I tried several times to run a bath but could not get the handle to move. I called the front desk & they said they would send someone up right away. After 30 minutes, no one had come so I called back & told them not to bother as I didn't feel like waiting all night for someone to show up. The last time I stayed at the hotel, there were no robes, slippers, yoga mat, etc. in the room. When mentioned, I was told those things need to be requested (even though I've never had to do that staying at any previous Kimpton hotels). I did request it this time and they send they would send them up, but when I got to the room there were robes and a yoga mat but no slippers. The slippers were brought up shortly after, by an attendant. 2 of the 3 times I ordered room service I was told the wait was at least an hour. Once it came up within 20 minutes the other time was within the hour time frame. There is little to no soundproofing (at least for outside). Even though I was on the 27th floor I could hear most of the traffic outside.

Again I don't mind paying for pricey hotels but I felt paying well over $800 for a night for the room we were in was Definitely not worth it. I'm use to stayng in Opal or Noble house resorts and have never minded the cost for the quality. If im spending that kind of money I want a good night sleep and we did not have that.

Check in: we arrived about ten minutes before the check in time. We were checked in but told we had to wait for our room to be ready. They send you a text to let you know when your room is ready, and you have to rejoin the line to get your room key. This was after one hour of waiting. I noticed that people who arrived ten minutes after me were immediately given rooms. The staff at no time communicated reasons for the delay or acknowledged the people waiting for rooms On site restaurant: we tried to have breakfast at the restaurant but the hostess totally ignored us. We requested a table upon arrival we were told there was a wait time , we said ok. After 30 minutes and other persons being seated I inquired about how much longer we would have to wait. The hostess replied she did not realize we were waiting. Mind you we never left from the sitting area in front of the hostess ( so it was not like she did not see us waiting )I did feel that this was racial bias on behalf of the staff, as we were the only persons of color treated in this manner

This IHG property was by far the worst I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating. I requested the manager to contact me to discuss our stay, but I never received a call. When I responded to a text asking for the manager’s contact information, they first got my name wrong, calling me Maribel. Then, they claimed the manager was in a meeting and they were passing the message along. I never heard back. The biggest issue was with the valet service. The website and outside the valet area clearly listed the prices. We had a van, and they parked it in the hotel’s front lot, indicating it was oversized, which was correct. We anticipated paying $70 a night. However, the staff was concerned about “double oversized” vehicles and charged us double the price at $140 a night. This information was not posted on the website, at check-in, nor on the valet window. It seemed like these prices were made up. When I asked where this was posted, they couldn’t show me. When I asked at the front desk, they said “valet is separate from us.” When I spoke to the valet, they said “they are with the Kimpton brand and front desk can explain”. No one could explain. So, I moved my vehicle and parked literally across the street (a 2-minute walk) instead of at this hotel. It was a huge inconvenience and seriously dampened my experience. I was stressed because I couldn’t get honest or correct answers when asking about the charges. This has never been my experience with IHG or a Kimpto

This IHG property was by far the worst I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating. I requested the manager to contact me to discuss our stay, but I never received a call. When I responded to a text asking for the manager’s contact information, they first got my name wrong, calling me Maribel. Then, they claimed the manager was in a meeting and they were passing the message along. I never heard back. The biggest issue was with the valet service. The website and outside the valet area clearly listed the prices. We had a van, and they parked it in the hotel’s front lot, indicating it was oversized, which was correct. We anticipated paying $70 a night. However, the staff was concerned about “double oversized” vehicles and charged us double the price at $140 a night. This information was not posted on the website, at check-in, nor on the valet window. It seemed like these prices were made up. When I asked where this was posted, they couldn’t show me. When I asked at the front desk, they said “valet is separate from us.” When I spoke to the valet, they said “they are with the Kimpton brand and front desk can explain”. No one could explain. So, I moved my vehicle and parked literally across the street (a 2-minute walk) instead of at this hotel. It was a huge inconvenience and seriously dampened my experience. I was stressed because I couldn’t get honest or correct answers when asking about the charges. This has never been my experience with IHG or a Kimpto

Premium brand products and interiors in Europe and this one just felt a little lacking in the room interior and products, especially for the Miami price tag £350 per night plus £50 parking daily. Overall a really nice hotel but not quite to the level we have experienced in Europe

View was great, location was a bit more busy than I would have liked but still a great location. Pretty centralized to everything. staff was really nice. The bed. I feel like the bed was not up to quality standards. It was very small. The headbaord is a queen size but the bed itself is a full size bed. I did not like that at all. Especially for the price point of this hotel.

Our room was # 1823, a connecting room with 1823 I guess. Unfortunately, our neighbors arrived almost every night during the weekend, very late in the morning around 3 to 5 am, and they started to talk and fight in a very loud voice. That was really annoying for me and my partner. Of course, they woke us up and killed our resting time in bed.

Day 1: The sofa bed wasn’t just “uncomfortable”—it wouldn’t lie flat and the center folded/sagged, creating a “dropping” feeling. When I complained, staff said no comparable rooms were available and told us to move to a lower room with no price adjustment (as we booked via Expedia) or stay. After pushback, they offered breakfast the next morning. That night we got one rollaway; I slept there while my wife and our two small kids shared the king bed. Day 2: We moved rooms, but the sofa bed had the same issue. Staff said it wasn’t “broken,” so I asked the manager to come. He refunded the first two nights, told us to use two rollaways, and arranged a technician to review it the next day. Day 3: The technician added an extra mattress, but it still wasn’t sleepable. I requested rollaways again; after multiple calls, we were told they had run out in the late night. I ended up stuffing towels into the sunken area to level it enough to sleep. We booked this higher-priced suite to keep our family together; at this rate, we could have booked two standard rooms elsewhere. I can’t speak for other room types, but this suite clearly has a serious sofa-bed issue, and basic requests required repeated calls and follow-ups. We still paid the last night and resort fees for all 3 nights. The refund was appreciated, but the service and “Sleeps 4” claim were unacceptable.

The location and view are great! It gives access to good restaurants and boats It was impossible to have a breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it was not big enough and all the time busy. There was interruption of the water flow during taking a shower and the staff never brought the sofa bed for my little daughter as was requested during our stay.

This is a great location. We were waiting to go on a cruise and stayed here. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are nice. My only complaint is that breakfast is not free, and there is an incredibly long wait to get a table.

The Kimpton is my favorite place to stay when I visit Miami! The one bedroom suite is my go to stay! The luxurious bathroom, floor to ceiling windows, and balcony makes this room a 10/10! The staff! The pool! The ambience! It’s all amazing! I love it! It’s also family friendly. They have an option to set up a tent for your child in your room.

The first night we had requested another bath robe since there were 3 of us instead if 2. This detail shouldn’t have been overlooked given that theres a fee per extra guest. But nobody's perfect. Given that, we had also requested bath slippers FOUR times and had only received them when the housekeeping came. Speaking of housekeeping, the bath tub had a hair in it the first day and wasn’t cleaned at all the following days either. All they would do is make the bed and wipe the counters, the mirrors wouldn't be wiped, the floors weren't even sweeper and the trash cans did not have any trash bags which is very unhygienic. One of bed’s duvet insert wasn’t even tied into the duvet. overall we had a poor experience and would never stay here again.

Always a great stay. This is my annual holiday visit. The room is clean. The bay views are tremendous. The staff is very responsive. The property is beautifully decorated for the season and is within walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacies, movie theater, etc.

The room was spotless, the view was everything i'd imagine and the convenience to basically the heart of Miami was a definite plus. The only thing i did not like was the new lighting all the hotels are using. I couldn't see how to apply my makeup because the lighting was sooo dim..other than that. The stay was great and i will return.

This is my second time staying in this beautiful property that is in a great location and central to the downtown and Brickell parts of Miami. The staff was fairly helpful although twice getting deliveries to the hotel we didn’t get an immediate call that it had arrived. The tv’s don’t stream channels which is unacceptable in this day and age and price of a hotel. Also, the taps in the bathroom for some reason don’t adjust well, either scalding hot or not so much. The view from the room and the size of the room are second to none though.

Terrible valet, probably the worst ive ever come across. Constantly taking forever to bring your car, losing the keys and accusing you of having them and then realizing it was with them the entire time. Most (excluding like 2) of the workers speak in monotone voices and cant be understood and they have terrible attitudes. Would not recommend especially considering they charge overnight. Not to mention they will put you aside and forget about you when they see a somewhat nicer car even though youve been waiting longer. The front desk couldnt care less about your stay they dont bother asking on your way out about your experience. If you have a tesla dont bother asking about charging your car overnight because theyll just lie to you and say they dont have any chargers even though they do.

The shower looked dirty/moldy? so I didn’t use it, I used the tub. I pulled down a shade between the bathroom and bedroom and found disgusting something on it. Water bottle in the room was available for $10. Ridiculous! I took photos and showed the manager upon checkout and they took a very small amount off the disgusting room. I would not go back.

My friend and I booked a double (two bed) room facing the oceanside/east. Upon arrival we were told we were 'automatically upgraded' to a suite and when I asked was told it was facing the water. I thought this was great until we got to the room and found one king bed and sleeper sofa. The room was also facing the city/west. There was water dripping from the ceiling above the toilet. There were a total of 2 towels in the entire room. The mini-bar fridge was so packed there was zero room for any items we may bring back, just stuffed with crazy overpriced common crap. The overall room design was modern but not well thought through, there was a floor lamp (the only one in the 'sofa' part of the suite that was turned on by foot but positioned BEHIND the sofa. When you are able to climb behind the sofa to turn it on, it floods the room like an interrogation lamp and is not repositionable. WHO designed this crap?? FINALLY. and most horrible.. on the day of check-out, I noticed a strange insect climbing on the headboard in the morning. And upon closer inspection (under the interrogation lamp from the sofa room) . I discovered to my absolute horror.. BED BUGS.. and MASSIVE COLONY living and breeding on the headboard. A hotel of this 'caliber' should NOT have ALL of these issues. UNACCEPTABLE. Horrible experience overall and for the price i expected a LOT more. I've stayed at nicer Super 8's.

The overall property was very nice. The room that we stayed at was clean but very blan. It was pretty much a standard size but the bathroom was large. I found the lighting in the room to be lacking. The bathroom shower was very nice. The tub in the bathroom was a nice size but the water faucet that feeds the tub was severely undersized for a tub of that size. It took a long time to fill it up. The price for the room was on the expensive side all things considered.

Great location, walkable to Brickle , right next to the Miami river with water front trails that go to the Market Place. Staff gave us excellent service and followed up after checking in to make sure everything was good with the room and if we needed anything. Luna at the front desk gave us excellent service. We will stay here again next time we’re in Miami.

Overall, the property is in a great location, and I loved the views. However, I was disappointed that there was no mention of some of the benefits of being a Gold Expedia member, which I have experienced at other hotels. The staff was amazing, shout out to Gerald who checked me in. It’s very modern. I loved the pool, it has a spa on site. It’s also close to everything. Easy to get an uber, walking distance to CVS. Why I did not rate it a 5, is that my bathroom wasn’t very clean. So cleaning staff pay attention. Thanks

It was a really wonderful experience being able to stay there at that Hotel. I did have some problems with the AC, but they were very attentive to try to get it fixed and everything else I still give excellent reviews.

Lucas at the front desk was great and went the extra mile to assist. The cleaning crew did not clean on the balcony even when requested we were promised someone would come and no one did. The staff member that took orders for in room dining was impatient and a bit rude.

Angel at the front desk for check in was amazing. We had an early arrival flight and got to the hotel way before normal check in time. Bu had anticipated leaving our bags and going to the beach for several hours. Angel upgraded the room and got us checked in so early that we practically got an additional day at the hotel for free.

I dislike a hotel where they keep their " drinks and snacks " on the tray and in the whole little fridge and that leaves you with nowhere to put your water or drink of choice...no ice maker and no vending machines..to think a water bottle would go for 10 dollars is crazy

The second issue is strictly with the app. Kimpton shows “free breakfast available” yet there is no place in the booking to add breakfast so the assumption is that you receive a free breakfast. Negative. I would remove the free breakfast available if you can’t opt into it.

The Kimpton Epic has an appearance that would make a person believe they are an upscale establishment. However, when you look at the small details, they are subpar. Compared to the lobby, the room had a very outdated and musty appearance. Our rainfall type shower head leaked more water than we had in the shower bbs

I really enjoyed my stay staff was very pleasure and helpful. Room was spacious, poolside was great and clean, food was great, but the congestion of the parking and valet service and trying to get from point A to B was very frustrating. But our over all stay was a great experience. But just no Miami is a very expensive so have your money right.

First room: hair in the bathtub, dirty toiletries from previous guests, fingerprints, and hair on the bed and floor. Second room (after requesting a change): exactly the same issues—hair everywhere and sink not cleaned. For a hotel at this price point, this level of housekeeping is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here unless they address serious cleanliness issues.

The massage at the hotel spa was not up to spa level expectations it felt rushed and left you feeling unsatisfied. Overall it is a clean convenient place to stay before a cruise with nice pools and plenty of shopping/restaurants in walking distance. Hotel staff were very nice as well.
