Special shout-out to Danny (pool bar):** Phenomenal. Attentive, kept the cocktails flowing, and checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Danny also offered fantastic recommendations for places to go downtown. Recommendations:** Danny provided four different nightlife options, and we hit them all—each suggestion was spot-on and added to our adventure. Guest connection:Danny has a special gift for connecting with guests, making everyone feel seen and welcome. Special mention to Y (pool bar):Y is amazing and clearly has great leadership from Danny. With Danny’s guidance, Y is poised to shine even brighter and elevate guest experiences further. Overall, the service quality and personal touches from both the front desk team and the pool bar crew made our trip memorable. My daughters school held prom at the hotel so we opted to stay. Overall it was a great experience. The only thing is i believe the drink prices were a little high for what we order.

We only went to the Restaraunt on the first floor. Had salmon with was very good tasting. Pretty typical for pricing in the neighborhood. Check in was only a couple of minutes, elevators were not crowded and the room was very large with a nice bathroom.

The hotel is great! The only two critiques: the pillows are extremely flat and the pool has a very small window of direct sunlight. Otherwise EVERYTHING was wonderful!!

Very clean with modern and upscale feel and decor. Expensive but but provides the elegant accommodations with the convenience in central to most everything. That is except to the beach, it's pretty far away at 40+ minutes but you could still commute there if up for the drive. And the restaurants onsite are perfectly suited for a nice meal right without having to leave. One add expense is an almost $30 + destination fee that is automatically added per day. The few benefits are a daily credit of $17+ toward room service or restaurant bill when charged to your room and 30 mins towards the actives on site. Had one issue where housekeeping straightened up our room and removed all of the used towels, but didn't leave any replacement fresh ones. But, after noticing this upon our return to our room and a quick call to the front desk housekeeping was sent to our room and inquired into all that was needed and some other things missing they immediately fixed everything and made sure all was addressed before leaving. So, all in all this is a great stay. I don't expect absolute perfection and some misses may occur but it's how a business handles it and they did a fantastic job! The ENTIRE staff (Front Desk, Vallet, Concierge, Housekeeping, restaurant chef, servers, bar tenders, etc) were amazing and very accommodating and very professional and very polite! They are a well earned and rated 5 Star hotel.

Very clean room, comfortable bed (much softer than what I like but doable), nice view of the city, very spacious, very quiet, and had lovely amenities in room and outside. My favorite part was the large desk for me to work from as I was there for work. Will definitely stay there again.

I paid for a city view I was given a room blocked building no view, I showed the receptionist and still refused to acknowledge it. The room that I was given was dusty with no robes or slippers all the amenities that was listed wasn’t in the room. Horrible stay very overpriced for the poor quality and condition

More concerning issues followed: I informed the front desk that a friend would be arriving later that evening and requested assistance in finalizing the deposits. This request was refused and the guest waited more than 1 hour to give him the room key. My guest were held at reception for nearly one hour until I personally arrived, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and discomfort. When I contacted the front desk by phone to request assistance with arranging airport transportation, the agent raised her voice and reacted unprofessionally when the landline connection was unclear and I asked her to repeat the information. I also requested luggage assistance. A trolley was left unattended in the middle of the lobby, and after waiting more than 10 minutes with no staff support, I had to handle the luggage myself. Collectively, these incidents reflect a serious lapse in service standards, communication, and guest care. This is not the level of hospitality expected from a Marriott-branded hotel, particularly one positioning itself as a five-star property. I am sharing this feedback directly with you because I believe such matters require leadership attention. This experience has unfortunately raised concerns regarding our confidence in selecting this hotel for a large group stay. I would appreciate your review of this situation and clarification on how service standards are being enforced at the front desk level. Thank you for your time and attention.

Clean room, confortable bed, good internet The staff were extremely unprofessional and clearly unhappy to work there. They ignored requests, showed no willingness to help, and even lied just to get me away from the counter. Because of this unacceptable treatment, I had no choice but to cancel my stay. I requested a partial refund for the unused nights, and Booking.com support was very helpful—they confirmed they had emailed the property. However, the next day I was informed that my refund request was denied by the property. This was very frustrating, because I would not have left if the staff had been honest with me from the start instead of lying. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing. The staff’s behavior and dishonesty made my stay impossible, and the property refused to take responsibility afterwards.

The hotel is great but the rooms has consistently had issue. We had a suite with bedroom and living room which door that does not work. After long discussion we been moved to another room which was leaking at the rain. The room isolation is horrible , at 4:30 am we been listing for someone having a call in different language for almost an hour , every morning.

Yes the room had dirty sheets and covers the whole time and I called to ask them to change them numerous times, then went to the front desk and she ensured me someone would go change them immediately but never did. I guess I wasn’t a priority to them

This was my first trip to Miami. Was expecting a peaceful vacation. First off flight was fine. Not sure why flight and hotel do not communicate to ensure passenger arriving will have room accommodation within a decent time of arrival. Got in at 7:45am room not ready till 4:30 even after I was told 12pm. Rented a car to go sleep in a parking garage with my family to kill time. Very unpleasant. We had booked boat trips and dinner so we really did not get into our room until 9 pm. As soon as we get in it looked great. Looks deceived. Now tired wanting to crash out from California.we go to open pullout for kids and there’s a used tampon. Took them almost an hour to get up with foldables. Not sure why we were not offered another room or something. Did not recieve a call from management or anything. For the type of money paid at a property of its stature you would assume it would be way more hospitable. The fact that a blood born pathogen was in the room. You would expect something to be done. First and last stay form me and my family.

Needed 24 hours to get a shower rubber mat!!! After asking zillions of times, nobody of the staff was aware that there were none at the hotel although they kept promising one….. Finally, the main concierge offered to buy one for us and it happened!

Our dinner was $145 without liquor. I ordered a coffee and got a small cup for the outrageous price of $7. When I finished it, I asked for a refill. The waiter said that would be an additional $7. Each cup is priced separately. I lost all my respect for the hotel over that rip off, and I do not recommend it. 2. The mattress/mattress cover was lumpy, affecting sleep.

Nice hotel. Staff was nice. The lobby is really nice. The rooms are spacious but they are a bit outdated with “Brown” throughout the bathroom. The other major thing is the mattresses. They all have a cushion added but my lord do these mattresses need to be replaced. Very accessible location to restaurants and shopping.

The hotel was excellent. The staff were very attentive. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The location was great it was close to the Brickell city Centre for shopping and the waterway which served as a nice walk in the evenings. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. It is also close to the cruise terminal if you sailing out on a cruise.

Have stayed several times now only bc it is in the same building as my office. However they need to invest in some new towels, they are threadbare and worn. Also, the beds and linens are comfortable but pillows are very small kinda flat. And the gym is nice but would be great to add peloton :) I do like that it is close to a lot if walking, running and dining options. Whole Foods is a quick walk across the street. The boulud restaurant is very good too

This was the worst experience I ever had in my life. I had to sleep on the floor with my son. We booked 2 bed room but they gave us one bed and they did not want to help me at all. I even ask them to bring the small bed to my room, the answer was no. I was charged for 2 bed room but got 1 bed for 4 people. We were dealing for 2.5 hours to get help from hotel.com customer service or front desk in JW Marriott, neither one helped Now me and my son have really bad pain because we were sleeping on the floor.

Beautiful venue! Would come back just for the hotel. Came with our little family and we loved the pool and the bowling. Conference was next door and Whole Foods around the corner, which made it incredible.

All the staff is so excellent except one lady name Tina, she answered my call (at your service) i told her thay forgot to but water in the room and i have to get my diabetes medicine .. she shouted at me and I told me we are out of water I told he is there a solution she said go walk to CVS 24/7 by yourself and get water and hang up on me which is too rude and not expected that response from 5 star hotel 😱

We were immediately greeted by a friendly bellman. We were there at 9:30 in the Am and check in was not till 4. We had just planned on leaving our luggage and going to the beach. He said let’s see if your room is ready. Took us to a very friendly and helpful person at front desk who had a room ready and checked us in. Awesome service!! Room was immaculate and well decorated. We were in 34 floor with amazing view. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was amazing with tub and shower and tv in mirror.

On a more pleasant note, the elderly porter named, Alvaro went above and beyond with his efforts to track down our luggage. We had to be shifted to a different room because our family of 4 just couldn't sleep in one king bed. Somehow our baggage went astray for a couple of hours and Alvaro tracked it down and delivered it to our newly assigned room. He also visited with us as we passed through the lobby a few times, and made us feel more at home. The people at registration were also friendly and helped us feel more comfortable.

We had to evacuate and headed to Miami. Hotels were limited options and we decided on the JW Marriott Marquis. Gorgeous hotel! hotels.com gave us a price. At check-in that price went up by $200 per night. Everything was extra! We paid an additional $57 per day for parking. We had puppies they did not complain about our puppies nor did they charge us for them. They did charge us for coffee in the morning. They charged us a daily fee of $35 that we could use towards coffee. What we originally agreed as an already costly $926 stay cost us $400 more!!

The only ones to greet you with smiles are the valets. We didn't drive, but they always held the door and helped us with our luggages. The amenities far surpass other hotels. The indoor basketball court, swimming pool, gym, billiards table and bowling alley were plenty to keep our kids busy while it rained outside. Although guests receive a discounted rate for the court, billiards and bowling, it would be much nicer if guests were allotted an hour of one activity per day since we pay a destination fee. The rooms are very spacious and although we were on the 19th floor, you could hear all the sports cars and trucks on the streets below. If in the area, we will be going back to the Mandarin Oriental where the service is top notch.

Room not ready at 4 had requested early check At 2 as we have early flight at 7am . We waited for an hour after a long drive to get room. Then it smelt of BO and perfume so disappointing. We stay here frequently and this is not the norm. But def off putting stay this time.

Coffee pods were not available so they brought a full pot to our room for free daily. The room never seemed to be cleaned efficiently. The cleaning was marginal and we had to get them to come back in to clean again. The rooms definitely need some renovations as they are looking dated.

My luck it was prom night, 2 highschools. The pool was closed due to prom. Valet took over 45 to get my car because of prom. It would have been nice if they mentioned prom was being held there that night, I would have went somewhere else.
