Got the code for the entrance door and room door per E-Mail. Very easy and comfortable. There are two bus stops near the hotel (5 and 8 min away).

The absolute highlight of our trip was the hotel's rooftop lounge. Between the spectacular views and the perfect ambiance, it became our favorite spot to unwind. We found ourselves returning every single evening to enjoy a nightcap and take in the scenery—it was the perfect way to end the day. The rooms have a wonderful minimalist, European feel—clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s rest. However, a few more hangers in the closet would go a long way for travelers staying more than a night. Also, while the rooftop is a great space, it feels like a missed opportunity not to offer a light continental breakfast or coffee service there to start the day.

Great service and very clean! The beds could be more comfortable

The staff was very nice and friendly, the room was spotlessly clean The hotel is located very close to Little Havana so there are many great restaurants to check out in the area. The walls and windows are quite thin so we could hear the noise from the outside, but it wasn't too bad.

The property is a quaint, boutique-like accommodation that is in an excellent location close to restaurants and bars and other amenities in the Little Havana neighborhood. There is no front desk so some people may not like that but checkin and checkout was easy. We communicated all of our needs via messaging and it was no problem. They were always prompt in getting right back to us.

This is the most beautiful property in the downtown area! It's incredibly clean and wonderfully maintained. Gioia helped me with everything I needed and always made sure I had recommendations and housekeeping.

The room was so small that we did not even have space to open our suitcase on the floor or storing them. Ventilation in the bathroom was also not too good and opening the window in the room didn't help significantly so the humidity stayed in the room for a long time.

The staff was very friendly and communicated well both before and after our stay. It is an older facility and refurbished nicely. The location was a bit scary, at the moment. However, Miami is a city that is being slowly refurbished, so do not count this facility out solely on the current condition of the general neighborhood. I think it was a good value since most lodging in Miami is exceedingly expensive from the perspective of a rural out-of-towner. Clearly, this is a business that cares about their customer experience. The Staff/Owner gets the best rating plus. The accommodations were small and had that old building feel and smell. But the staff was very accommodating and concerned about a good customer experience.

Really loved staying here! I'm so happy I found it for my visit to Miami. The location is great, just a short walk to the Calle Ocho area and about a mile walk or very short Uber ride to Brickell. Also a short Uber ride to Miami Beach. The vibe is updated vintage, loved the wood floors and decor, and the bathroom was just about brand new. There was a TV with Roku channels and good WiFi. A/C worked great. Only setback would be that there is no door on the bathroom! This was ok for me since I was travelling solo, but something to be aware of for couples. I liked that they provided shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Everything was very clean. Housekeeping did not visit daily, which was fine for me (I stayed 4 nights). After a couple nights I requested a change of linens and they were able to do it right away. There is no "front desk" when you arrive, information and check-in was done by message. Initially the code to get into my room didn't work, but management was VERY responsive by text and sorted it out for me right away. They also made it a point to check in with me several times. Rooftop bar was also fabulous and had an amazing view of downtown Miami. Can't wait to stay here again! I didn't have a car, but parking would have been complicated.

The immediate location is a pretty neighborhood and l really enjoyed all the chickens. If you walked a couple of miles down 8th Avenue you'd come to interesting shops and murals- and on 13th, a tree-lined strip park honoring Cuba but you only had to walk to the corner of 8th to find the perfect place to eat-- an informal and very friendly Colombian place called Sanpocho, I loved those people. I could eat there every day! The VERY best part of the whole experience, though, was Kat, your greeter.. She was super-helpful and anyone who met her would probably come right back. I also have to add that I LOVED the fact that most people in the area were Spanish-speaking, since I've been fluent since I was 16 and I sing mariachi, so an environment like that is my heart-home. Usually, hotels that cost over 100 offer coffee in the rooms. The Jefferson has a pot in the lobby but the kind of coffee clashes with the atmosphere --in other words, Bustelo or Pilon would have been fine but Maxwell House just isn't. Also, there should have been tea (te de manzanilla would have been good and maybe peppermint and black tea) and creamers (there were none) . I also think it should have been reliably available before 9am since a lot of guests would have had to leave by then. This is in no way the fault of the employees. All of them, including the cleaners, were as nice as Kat.

My friend stayed over a night in my room, the next day she complained on some itchy irritation on her back, later we found out it was bed bug bites. I informed the staff about the issue right away, they said they will take that serious and will act accordingly. I kept reminding them asking about updates, but only got ignored or told that I’m not messaging them on the time when front desk is replying. Three days no answer on issue, and on my latest message to them I got completely ignored. I’m so ashamed before my friend, I asked her to stay since it was late night to go back to her place. I guess price was good because facilities and management is very poor.
