    There was plenty if amenities that were right at our finger tips after coming in in a 6 am 4 hour flight. I swear not a single staff member smiled at all. They all looked so angry and miserable. I felt bad for them. They looked like they absolutely hated their jobs and hated every person that came in. The all just looked like they hated everything. I felt so bad for then.

    The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast! The views were great and the location (while downtown) was very nice. The valet (Elmer) was courteous and very helpful. Location is perfect for getting to the port of Miami for a cruise. It’s a little confusing on how to get there with it being downtown.

    Staff was absolutely excellent and the hotel is very clean and centrally located but extremely outdated. The breakfast buffet is excellent as well. That being said, the charge of $100 per day for the gym and pool is laughable and absolutely ridiculous. The gym is a small room in the basement with about 9 cardio machines squeezed together. Pipes above your head are visible. Prison vibes. The pool is tiny and aesthetically offputting. I am NOT exaggerating! The fact that you will need to spend $200 + per person to access a decent pool in the area or closer to the beach on top of paying for these ridiculous amenities really disappointed me. I am a huge fan of Hyatt and I typically stay at a Hyatt whenever there is availability. This Hyatt has the value of a Quality Inn, with the exception of staff and the breakfast. The rooms are very basic and the bathrooms are old. There is no real closet because that space is shared with a very tiny micro fridge that should really be a wine cooler. There is also a safe in that "closet" area so you cannot hang your clothing. The "closet" has no doors. The room is very spacious and there was decent view. The vanity area was also a good size for two people to share while getting ready. That being said, breakfast should be included as opposed to a separate fee. That would have definitely eased the blow.

    Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location was walking distance to bayfront. The bar staff was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was delicious, actually all the meals I had were excellent. The only possible downside would be the very busy area outside. Between the valet, the uber pickups and just regular people checking in the cars would fill up that area. Getting picked up or dropped from a ride share was an adventure

    Upon check in, my toilet wouldn’t flush. There was no water going into the back chamber. We called down to the front desk 5 times without any response. I even went down to the front desk in person… still no assistance. I had to call Hyatt’s corporate number to get any help. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

    Gave us the wrong key twice . Someone did not check out properly when we try to get in unit. Checkout policy was not so flexible. The unit had some dirty towels and strange smell.swimming pool floor was dirty with bird poop and pool had dead flies.

    Really nice desk staff and the food market in the lobby was great for breakfast - pastries, breakfast sandwiches, good coffee selection, drinks and snacks. The hotel itself is severely outdated and looking run down, and available guest parking is far and inconvenient. 2026 prices for a 1985 vibe. Would not return.

    Excellent staff at this Hotel, they really went above and beyond. The noise is quite bad on the weekends from the nearby road, with cars racing up and down. Not really the fault of the hotel, but something to note. The rooms are on the older side now, as i believe they are decommissioning this hotel soon and opening a new location on Miami Beach. I would definitely stay here again just for the staff who went above and beyond, and will consider hyatt for all my future trips. Thanks!

    We didn’t have a car but the staff greeting you are awesome! All staff treated us wonderfully and we will stay there again. Only issue I had was the bathroom. Huge bathroom but has nothing. No vanity to put stuff on especially for women trying to get ready. Small cupboard away from sink. You need to update and make the bathrooms more functioning so people have a place to put their personal needs. That is the only downfall with the rooms. Perhaps a large mirror in the room would also help.

    This hotel needs a facelift. The lobby and our room both look like something out of the Sixties. For the lowest priced room costing $338, the bathroom had a small sink with no attached counter space! The shower was inside a bath tub rather than a walk in shower, which bathtub users might like but I found old-fashioned. The amenities were okay, with two bottles of water and a small refrigerator placed on the floor. It was very clean and our room was quiet.

    Parking is badly run and very, very expensive; very long wait times for access to the property and the retrieval of our car took 30 minutes. Food/bar offerings are poor and the service is bad. I ordered a steak that was like shoe leather and the bartender didn’t know how to make a gin and tonic. There were no Kleenex in the room. This a tired and poorly staffed/run place. It’s too bad because I like and often stay at Hyatt properties.

    Our room was on a high floor. It is a very busy and noisy area with all of the boats and cars passing by. There were ear plugs on our nightstands to drown out the noise just in case. It did not bother us city folk lol. The room was clean and had everything you could need including an iron and ironing board. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were here for a cruise and they had a shuttle to the port for a small fee. I would definitely stay here again.

    When I arrived, there were what appeared to be fried chicken crumbs all over the desk and chair, which I had to clean myself. When I went to adjust the thermostat, the floor beneath it was soaking wet with what I hope was water. The bathroom door had several black hairs stuck to it that were clearly not mine. The tub barely drained, and there was rust around both the faucet and the drain. The overall impression was bleak and poorly maintained. I was in town for work and meeting with a client, and after a long travel day, I did not have the energy to request a room change, especially not knowing whether another room would be any better. Based on what my client shared, it seemed we were all dealing with similarly unclean rooms and drainage issues. I will be traveling to Miami frequently for work, and I will not be staying at this Hyatt again.

    We booked this as it said they offered private town car service, this advertisement was false they do not. Thankfully I was able to find a service last minute to fit our needs. The hotel lobby also had a very strong animal urine smell. Room wasn’t very clean, hair in sink and in bathroom and on bedding. Upon check in desk attendant was rather rude when I was asking how we schedule for private car service and she proceeded to explain in a very condescending manner . We will not be staying here again.

    My first stayed was for 2 nights only, then I decide to add one more, so I tried to make the check out through the room phone, and it was not working at all, so I had to go in person, and later in the afternoon I found the housekeeper in front of my room asking me why I’m on the room?… so there was no communication between the staff about the transaction, I felt so disappointed cause she was looking at me like I was lying.

    The hotel is located right off a freeway off ramp . If you choose this hotel for your stay I HIGHLY recommend you ask for a room on the waterway side . Traffic noise was terrible late into the night . If you are staying to head out on a cruise you can book a shuttle through the concierge. Only good thing about the hotel . Some restaurants in the area but you have to dodge traffic which ever way you turn .

    Came to Miami a night prior to cruising and chose this location due to being so close to the port. We will definitely stay again! Excellent location, staff were friendly and helpful (let us check in quite early... there was a $25 charge for that convenience though), and plenty of things to do in the area with our family (shops, food, and the ferris wheel).

    I called ahead to let the hotel know that our flight was significantly delayed and that we would be there late for check-in, but would be there. I wanted to be sure we would have a room when we arrived. Without any notification, when we arrived after midnight, we were handed a piece of paper and told that the hotel took it upon themselves to book us in a different hotel down the street. After over 16 hours of delays, we were furious and are beyond disappointed in Hyatt overall. We travel often, and Hyatt hotels will no longer be our top hotel choice. Save time, frustration and disappointment, book somewhere else.

    Hotel was located right off of I-95. In the heart of downtown Miami, just shy of Brickell. Conveniently located. Unfortunately it wasn’t my first choice. It was conveniently priced compared to other hotels in the area for the time I needed to travel. Weekends they are extremely busy and the motor lobby/valet parking is shortstaffed so you need patience. The room you rent has very minimal amenities and you do hear your neighbors next-door and the noise outside of your room outside of the building. If you’re coming for somewhere just to lay your head it’s okay.

    Nice area. Not the place to go if you are traveling for business. There are party boats that run all night by that river and if you are a light sleeper, tou will not get much rest. The bridge lifts too which is noisy. Its a nice hotel though.

    Generally clean room but dated with an odd odor reminiscent of disinfectant. I have also never seen complimentary earplugs on the nightstand which didn’t bode well for sleeping, even on the 10th floor. Sink in bathroom was tiny; the soap was located on a small freestanding cabinet next to the bathroom door. There wasn’t even room for the bar of soap to rest next to the faucet. Just odd.

    Overall, Hyatt Regency Miami is an excellent hotel. Its location next to the free Metromover platform makes it easy to get around the city. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the staff provide outstanding service—especially Gerald at the front desk, who went above and beyond. It’s a great place to stay in downtown Miami.

    Cons: A few of the staff, the concierges in particular, were rude when we tried to talk about anything other than what they were selling. I chose this hotel because it's close to the cruise port. We paid for their shuttle service to the port. It left half an hour later than the time we reserved. The entire operation was disorganized. We've had a better experience at other hotels where the shuttle service was free.

    Cons: walls very thin, we could hear the conversation in the next room and in the halls perfectly.     Jason at the front desk provided exceptional service and we had the option to check-in earlier and checkout later. Bottled water was offered free of charge at the front desk daily.     I booked this hotel for my friend and her daughter while they were traveling from Prague and staying in Miami for a few nights before catching another flight. They absolutely loved their stay.     Location is amazing, 5 minutes walk to Brickal/City center area and all the restaurants and beautiful shops and 3 blocks walk to harbor area and is also located next to the river, right across the street there is a whole food and ton of restaurants within walking distance. Staff is nice and helpful and overall the hotel is ok but it is an older Hyatt regency and the rooms and hallways definitely needs a remodel to be on par with other Hyatt regencies that you see in major metro areas. The hand sink is separated by a patrician wall in the room so if you want wash your hand or brush your teeth and your spouse or kid is sleep you definitely will wake them up, the shower has curtain in it which I have not seen in any 4-5 star hotels for a while and definitely outdated. However the rooms are clean and they kept it in a descent condition but overall as I said the hotel definitely needs a remodel. The valet parking is $57 a night and there is a parking around the corner that costs $20 a night up to 24 hrs. The harbor and brickal area is beautiful and you can definitely walk around and see a lot.

    There was a flood at the hotel the day before & guest were severely inconvenienced. The lobby was in disarray with loud machines constantly blowing during my stay I’m assuming to dry the water(?). There was a gaping hole in the roof of the lobby. The elevators were inoperable the next day & we had to take the staff/maintenance elevator to get to the lobby vice versa & the want was 30 minutes. I was on the 21st floor. Also our room was facing the front of the hotel & the way the traffic is bumper to bumper the exit which causes the drivers to honk their horns all day long Outdated rooms nice looking exterior My stay was 10/31-11/3

    The hotel did not have any of our type of room available then when they did it was too close to the street and we could hear everything. We spoke with Michael, the front desk manager and he was able to change it for us. It did take a few extra hours of waiting but we got a better room and the service was most memorable only because of Michael. Would definitely stay here again.

    It’s a joined to the James L. Knight Center which meant we could walk over easily and quickly from the hotel. The hotel was clean and mostly updated. The bed was comfortable. The shop/cafe in the lobby was filled with good quick meal options that were both fresh and delicious. Some things in the room were a bit dated upon closer look like the bathroom/tub/tiles, as well as the column in the middle of the room where the tv was. The hotel is located in a nice area of downtown so it was noisy in terms of car honking and racing cars and motorcycles, there’s nothing the hotel can do about this, it’s just inherent to the location.

    Had nice big room on 12th floor. Looked down and all you could see was traffic. Noticed night stands had ear plugs and a white noise machine. Cars were honking ALL day and night. Guess that’s why they left those. Hotel was nice and lots of stores and restaurants near by. Don’t think I’d stay again due to the constant noise.

    Housekeeping was daily and well done, the hotel connects directly to the metro-mover system, good food and grocery supplies were within walking distance and the view from my room was as expected (after being rectified by front desk). I took the free water in my room (replenished daily) for granted, until I switched to another hotel in order to be closer to the airport for one of my flights. It may seem minor but one of my favorite things about this hotel was the smell! I loved passing through the lobby simply because it always smelled so good. Overall, great location, good service, nice view. I will stay again.

    My flight was delayed 3 hours therefore my check in was extremely late. I was allowed an extra late check out time. Also, it was my birthday and my room was upgraded for free.     Double charged for parking after being assured the hotel would remove the duplicate charges. You’re forced to pay the valet third party when you arrive so I’m not sure what kind of scam they’re running to also charge at the hotel. Valet had our car for 20 minutes before it was hit by a taxi because they leave the car in the busy round about at the entrance of the hotel. Waiting on the claim dispute process for that. It’s frustrating that we were told parking was valet only when we paid, only to find out they had self parking the next day. I got the run around when asking for a cart for our luggage until they had a bell hop to try to get additional tips. This hotel is deceptive and tries to overcharge any chance they get. Now I get to deal with this duplicative parking charge more tomorrow - very bold of Hyatt after damaging our car.

    My family Iikes to stay in that hotel the only issue I found was in the room we stayed smelled funny, ut was like they don’t clean the carpets very often and humidity makes a funny smell. I don’t know what they can do about it but it’ll be nice for them to take care of it. Also the elevator to the little train doesn’t work so if you or anyone has a walker or wheel chair will not be easy to get around if you want to use the train and electric escalator doesn’t work either since is shared with another building probably that’s why it’s not fixed yet I stayed there a year ago and it was the same situation

    The property in and around the pool area was dirty. The gym area was extremely small for the size of the hotel. Definitely after thought. The rooms haven’t been updated in forever. The intersection outside the front of the hotel is probably one of the busiest intersections in the entire city due to the fact that it comes off the highway, andit leads to one of the drawbridges, that is continuously operating causing traffic to back up. The neighborhood in and around the hotel area if you take a left is extremely unwalkable and feels unsafe to the right is a very nice area.

    The staff is amazing and nice ! But the hotel is not the best for a family with children . This hotel is only good for business trips or convention center events . The rooms are very outdated , the showers are old and tub does not drain . The parking is horrible and the fees are incredibly expensive ( $60 to valet ) on top of that it’s always traffic due to the jot being next to the boat ramp . Don’t recommend this hotel for vacation .

    Hyatt Regency Miami area around don't feel safe. Lots of homeless and drinkers on the street. It's so noisy, building tear down. Importantly, the manager and the front desk of Miami Hyatt Regency are Untrustworthy!!! If I can, I will give 0 star. We stay two night in Miami Hyatt Regency. It was a nightmare on that two nights. Hyatt over sold their room and give us a employee rest floor to us. At night 3 a.m. about 10-15 people stay in on room. They go in/out slamming the door, Drinking, Talking, Laughing VERY VERY loud. Just like a wild party. We request room change next morning, front desk noted in their computer system and promise will have another room for us. Come back at night, Room sold out again? The manager admit they over sold hotel rooms, and promise tonight will be quite, the laugh group next to our room already check out. The manager offer compensate free breakfast for us. 2nd night, loud group of people moved from our next room to the room across, little better, but still talking and laughing. The compensated free breakfast turn around CHARGED back to my Credit Card. We'll NEVER EVERY STAY at Hyatt Regency Miami, and we will spread out the words to all of others we possible can!!!
