Property was in a perfect location right across from South Beach and main destinations. The only thing I did not like about this property was the employees. It didn’t look like they knew what they were doing.

The location was perfect This room was misleading when I first came across this, my view was an ocean front so I snagged it. I specifically got this room because it had a huge tub! Only to find out the hot water didn’t work. They came in everyday and took what 2 towels we had and didn’t leave any in return.. Another day moved my bra to get a towel. I entered the room with 2 towels for a 3 day stay for 2 people. The view was on the side so it was terrible, I didn’t have the ocean view period. They could have moved me for a couple hundred more, but it wasn’t worth it due to all the other things. Shower had rust and like caked. I asked to borrow 2 wine glasses so my significant other and I could drink wine and they said no. At checkout I went to the bathroom at 10am and the women’s bathroom was disgusting, hair all over the sink, dirty floors. I definitely will not be back.

Best location in south beach, in the middle of ocean drive and walkable for everything There a show in the entrance of the hotel every night and the loud noise was a bit disturbing sometimes . Also regarding the room cleaning service it was not good The floor was sticky and there was sand from the beach and not once the room cleaning did the floor . I had to ask myself for a broom and clean . Other than that the hotel location and big room compensate on these disadvantages .

Our room was very spacious, the location was excellent, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We never had any issues during our stay we felt very comfortable and safe there we definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone including families.

The fact that you have to continuously ask for towels, they come to your room and take your towels, but don’t replenish them like new towels. When I asked for a late checkout, they told me I have to wait till the morning and come downstairs to ask for one. That defeats the purpose of asking for a late check out if I have to wake up to go downstairs to ask, can I have one I may as well get up and leave..

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff are very nice and welcoming BUT the rooms are not that clean the floors felt like they had sand on them although none was visible BUT my feet were black and there were these little bugs that look like flies but they were not flying i would tow then three but they just kept reappearing me and my husband both had bits on our legs not sure if it was from the bug that were flying around the room the show not clean and the refrigerator had drinks that were open from the person from the last stay meaning no one checked it and the white chairs that where in the room dirty visible black stains on them didn’t look hygienic over all great location very nice staff Rooms need help 911! Deep clean the rooms and power was the white chairs put fresheners in the rooms and in the lobby so it doesn’t have a old/sweaty smell and TURN UP THE AC IN THE LOBBY it was so hot and sticky in the lobby

Located on the art deco beach front on Ocean Drive, it's a 3 minute walk to go swimming, and you're in the middle of the nightlife. Life music and dancers in the courtyard add to the Latino lifestyle experience. The music went on long into the night, which made it difficult to fall asleep.

These people broke into our room through the emergency exit door. Stole 2,000 worth of watches and stole my wife’s debit card and used it at Publix, target and Ross. Currently building a civil lawsuit. ROOM 502, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. THE EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR LEADS TO A BACK HALLWAY WITH NO CAMERAS.

I loved that the property was right across the street from the beach, they gave us free beach chairs and towels, and i lovedddd the restaurant on the property, amazing food and service We kept getting locked out of our room because key cards weren’t working, The bathtub pressure was a bad and took about 30 min to fill it up. There was no trash can inside the room only one in the bathroom.

Good I enjoyed it

The location is the hotel’s strongest point. It is central to everything South Beach has to offer and sits directly across from the beach on Ocean Drive. The hotel also provides towels and beach chairs, which makes spending the day on the sand easy and convenient. Parking was also manageable. There is a parking deck about a block away that charges $20 for 24 hours, so we were able to avoid paying for valet. The bathroom was spacious and included both a shower and a tub, which was a nice feature. The photos made this hotel look much better than it felt in person. The decor was underwhelming: mostly white, dated, and lackluster rather than fresh or stylish. Our room also had very little natural light, which made it feel even less inviting. There were several issues with the room itself. The bathroom water never really heated past lukewarm. The safe was missing. The sheets were stained, and there were black dots on the bed that were definitely not grains of sand. That was especially unpleasant because the hotel has a notice warning guests that staining the sheets can result in an extra charge. Another thing I noticed immediately was the strong bleach-like smell when entering the hotel and elevator. I understand that cleaning products have a scent, but this was more hospital-like than fresh and was off-putting. I did bring these issues up with the front desk the following day. To be fair, I do think they would have tried to correct the missing safe and sheet situation if I had stayed longer. Unfortunately, my stay was cut short by one day because of illness. We vacated the room before checkout time, but the hotel did not refund the unused night. Also worth mentioning: Kanoli Italian Restaurant, located in the hotel courtyard, was a mistake. It is not associated with the hotel, but it is right there on the property. The Italian food was very poor, especially given the outrageous prices. Cocktails were around $26 and absolutely not worth it. Overall, the experience did not match the photos or the price point.

Location, bedding, mattress comfort. There was an issue with a room, the hotel staff, however, was nice to provide an upgrade free of charge. Hotel provides a 15% discount to an adjacent restaurant. Slow staff: checking in took over 30 minutes, despite only 2 people being attended to in front of me in line. Furniture is generally worn; the table has rusty legs and is squeaky. The shower head seemed to have a deep, dark red colour on it; not sure whether it was rust or something else. The restaurant, despite providing a discount, does not provide good value. The main course is overpriced, bland, dry, and overcooked. Paid $20 USD for 8 tiny pieces of coconut shrimp that were so overdone that the outside was slightly burned. Overall, this hotel didn't provide a good value, not even close. At that price point, I expected a high-end hotel. Definitely not coming back. I could get a similar amount of value from a hostel or an Airbnb at a significantly lower cost.

Good location, comfortable bed. I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this hotel. After checking out, I realized I had left my AirPods behind. When I tracked them shortly after using Apple’s Find My app, they were no longer at the hotel and appeared to be in use elsewhere. This raises serious concerns about the safety of guests’ belongings and the integrity of the staff. I trusted that any item left behind would be handled professionally and placed in lost and found, not removed and used. I reported the issue to the hotel but have not received a meaningful response or resolution. This situation broke my trust and left a very negative impression overall. I would strongly encourage future guests to be extra careful with their belongings, as my experience did not reflect a safe or reliable environment.

10/10 for location. Balcony with ocean view was beautiful. However tenants in room next door warned us that 10mins before our arrival that they got robbed and someone took a couple thousand dollars worth of jewelry. And there were no cameras set up to assist them. Lowkey sketchy

This hotel has the basics of everything you need staying on the main strip in South Beach. We reserved 2 rooms that had "ocean view" and we paid extra for this view. This was really disappointing bc one of the rooms had no view whatsoever and was in the back section of the hotel and the other room was front facing the ocean but it was on the 2nd floor there was not much of a view of the ocean - it was mostly street (great for people watching tho). So I would not recommend paying anything extra for this view! The front facing room was also exposed to a lot of loud music & activity until about 11 pm but after that it was quiet and easy to sleep. The room in the back was fairly large and the one on the strip (front facing) was very small. It's easy to monitor the temperature of the rooms and the air conditioning works fine. Our rooms were simple and clean. The hallways, stairwells and main area could use a little touching up and cleaning (the elevator and stairwell were dirty/gross). Overall, we would say it's very overpriced. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Our AC unit did not work maintenance was supposed to come look at it instead the front desk girl came to look at it she was on the phone with them they said to let it be for about an hour and a half with the unit off so that it could defrost and then turn it back on so we turned it back on after an hour and a half and waited to see if it would come back on we ended up falling asleep and waking up sweating ? Did not feel like we got what we paid for send an email to the manager and they said that we had an option to swap rooms that was after waiting for an hour and a half and then waiting to see if it came back on and then they said because we fell asleep they weren't going to do anything for us not happy at all!!!! Not to mention every time somebody flushed the toilet upstairs we heard it it was loud also when I took my shoes off and was walking around the room you can feel there was grit and stuff on the floor but you could not see until you felt it on your feet!!!

It was in walking distance from every thing. No parking close by and the restaurant was a rip off. During happy hour they charged us $128 for 4 drinks!!!!! Over $219 for a lasagna and a small Hawaiian pizza with those 4 drinks!! Way more than the room!!

Went to check in- the front desk told me sit in lobby and wait. I waited for 2 hours kept asking him what’s going on and didn’t give me a straight answer kept saying I’m waiting on my manager to help me check you in. He finally comes back says we overbooked and we dint have any rooms left. He couldn’t have told me before having to wait?! So we are now waiting to get our refund but worse experience ever wouldn’t recommend at all

All kidding to the side. This is a very nice place. Very Clean. Elevators work nicely too. Beach is very clean. This is a Family Oriemted Place. I have only one concern, as I’ve had everywhere else. And that’s the door security. Between rooms on joining rooms. And the Latch at Main Door. It’s easily bypassed too.

we wanted to stay on the 5th floor but the elevator only went one way-not both up and down in the reception elevator it said their certificate had expired the room keys-mostly never worked so each time this happened we had to go down to the reception to get a new key the tv rarely worked-3x they came up to fix it and each time we had to go down to the reception the receptionist told me if we ate breakfest at their restaurant we would get a 15% discount--the server wouldnt honor this the toilet ran continually-it was never fixed and each time we had to go to the reception their add said there was a gym-the gym was 5 blocks away-not convenient the safe didnt work-not convenient add all this up for $2K+for 3 nites-pathetic can expedia remburse us at all for something to justify this terrible experience? Booked it last minute. Spent one night with my wife. Nice clean large room and bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Nice restaurant with great food out front on street front. Elevator didn’t work when we were leaving but other than that great experience.

Everything was wonderful! They have beach chairs you can carry to your desired spot on the beach. The live music every night was great. The ONLY issue was the women's bathroom in the lobby, to me it feels it is lacking the same attention as the rest of the hotel. But other than that, the rooms look as pictured and we would definitely stay again in the future!

The hotel has an infestation of drain flies. The facility needs to have a professional exterminator come regularly to spray and get rid of that issue. I had to get rid of several of those drain files, a few spiders and a roach.

An older property. Easy check-in and check out. A little harder to find as it is tucked between restaurants. No parking on site, but there is a parking garage a block away. The room was nice and clean with a small ocean view. Hallways in the secondary building smelled mildewy. The room was conveniently located near the beach and numerous restaurants. I really liked Hotel Ocean because it was convinient to walk to restaurants and also to the beach. The location is excellent. The hotel staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. The hotel has great service, they had a bottle of champagne for us for our visit. I will come back to this hotel in the future. It is great!

The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it.. but they dont have a working contact number like a phone which is a must they dont have a phone so if you are trying to reach them before you arrive no one will ever answer the phone and the same after you leave .. the staff are not helpful at all beside that they dont speak english so communication is very little.. for room service you have to call them every hour to remind them for what you asked for and it will come after some time as they have few staff

The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it.. but they dont have a working contact number like a phone which is a must they dont have a phone so if you are trying to reach them before you arrive no one will ever answer the phone and the same after you leave .. the staff are not helpful at all beside that they dont speak english so communication is very little.. for room service you have to call them every hour to remind them for what you asked for and it will come after some time as they have few staff

Unfortunately, the room with the ocean view was more like a room with a view to a roof. The room was on the fourth floor and the ocean view was totally obstructed by the roof in front of us. The only way to see a bit the ocean was by standing in the left corner of the balcony. If we sat down all we could see was the roof. The balcony was shared and with no privacy. Wish I had been advised of this when I made the reservation. I wonder how is it that your hotel has over 1000 reviews while another hotel very close to you only has 200.? The condition of the furniture in the room was not the best, with visible damage to the furniture due to humidity. In conclusion, the valet parking offered by your hotel was imaginary. I ended up hustling looking for parking. Finally and to be fair, the piña coladas were great.

Oscar at the front desk was incredible. He was personable, accommodating and very helpful with check in and making sure we were well taken care of. It is my second time at this hotel and I will continue coming here when I visit Miami.

I would've complain if the hotel wasn't so expensive. Also, they need to offer better coffee/hot water options. The area is very busy and crowded, can be lots of fun if thats what you're looking for. I prefer a less congested and more private location.

The room with king size bed was perfect, very comfortable, plenty of closet space. The bathroom was very spacious. They even have beach chairs and towels to pick up in the lobby, which I did. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Hope that it will not be another 25 years before I go back to this charming SoBe hotel.

The room was clean and spacious. It was pretty, too. There was a bug in the bathroom but otherwise everything was good. The surrounding area felt safe and lots of things were walkable especially the beach, just a 5 minute walk.

We had a family emergency and tried numerous times to call the hotel and sent a fax. We received no response from the hotel. When we finally made it to the hotel we found out the hotel was under construction and all of the phones were down in the hotel. It is a nice place with a cool restaurant/bar downstairs. The location is amazing. The rooms are spacious, which is unusual for the area and very nice. The downside is the bathroom, which was obviously designed by someone who enjoys watching their family members defecate, which is hard for most of us to understand.

They told me we had to park in the garage around the block. So after circling the block a couple times we were able to get into the parking garage. Then we had to drag our luggage from the parking garage across the street, along the side walk, around to the front of the motel, through tons of people eating and milling around, up some steps to get back to the front office. It was not fun. Then they told us our room was not ready yet and it was four o’clock by then and that was check in time. So we had to sit and wait to get into our room. Our room turned out to be set up for someone with a handicap. I went back down to the front desk to see if we could up grade to another room and they said the hotel was booked so they had no other room available. Our room was also located right next to loud music and people who were talking and laughing into the night. For an older couple this was not what we wanted. I would never want to stay in this hotel again.

This hotel advertised Ocean FRONT with a balcony on hotels.com - we booked an Ocean FRONT room. When we checked in they put us in an Ocean VIEW with a balcony. When I talked to front desk they said they didn't have any Ocean FRONT available although that is what we paid for and booked. They refused to do anything about it.

Great location for Miami Beach. Place is pleasant. Rooms are a little tired though and some updating is needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location for food and entertainment as well. Even if it's just watching the exuberant locals!

Hotel had a nice lobby and staff were friendly. However the oceanfront room I booked was a partial ocean view not really what you would expect for an oceanfront view. You see mostly roof. The shower also has very weak pressure. Be prepared to shower in drips.

Seemed a bit odd to walk through the middle of customers eating at the restaurant to get to the lobby, but it was actually pretty quiet once you get passed them and the music. I would definately stay here again if we are ever back in Miami Beach.

This is our 4th time staying in just over a year. The staff of the hotel and restaurant are always friendly and attentive. The food is great and the live nightly entertainment is authentic and top quality.

Property is not listed as advertised there is no pool or gym. Workers lied about amenities not existing. Overall the location is great but will definitely not return anytime soon.

Love it here. Perfect location, great restaurant on site and expedient to the beach and several bus tours.

If i could give this place 100 stars I would!! Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. All the staff were extremely nice and accommodating especially Alex!!! He definitely made our stay as smooth and hassle free as possible. The rooms look exactly like the pictures too and super clean. I will literally tell everyone to stay here, 10000/10 place in a great location and for a great price.

You get what you pay… if you want quiet that’s not the place, it’s very convenient to the beach and to party… I would stay there again.

It was a safe place to stay at in July. Clean spacious room, with everything we needed, including a remote for the tv that actually worked! Bed sheets were super new, along with towels. For the room price way lower than the sorounding hotels, it was just right for our one night stay. Although the room looked updated and a very modern air conditioner system, the faucet handles were loose at the bases. Also our shower had a plastic curtain and no tub. Again, we were here for one night. We would stay here for a whole week if we came back to South Beach Ocean Drive. The hotel is right in the middle of all the other hotels n restaurants and beach access ,with free bicycles and free beach umbrellas! It is noisy with the old windows but the music dies out around 2am and quietly returns around 9am. You are in South Beach, embrace it! Loved it!

Staff were great overall. The restaurant staff were very welcoming. There were some challenges with the door lock cards. Had to go to lobby to get back into the room a number of times. Location was great, short walk to beach, shops, and other restaurants. Room and bathroom were nice and comfortable.

It's our third time in less than a year visiting and staying there. No other options provide the service and convenience they do.

This property is okay, our particular experience was not the best as our the room key scanner to our room stopped working our second day there and from that day on we had to get staff at the front desk to open the room for us every time - one time waiting 20 minutes for someone to let us in which was very inconvenient. Taps in the bathroom were very loose and twisted around and around which was odd, the closet with the safe, hangers & mini fridge did not close. Other than the unrefined room furnishings, the daily room service was good (came very early though, at 9am) and the location can’t be beat if you’re looking to be close to the south beach action. They had chairs and towels to take to the beach for free. I’d inspect the chairs before you leave as on more than 1 occasion we were given a broken/non functioning chair. They do hold your luggage for you. I’d say 3/5 stars maximum for this hotel.

Expedia had this property as a free breakfast which it was it was not. We had to switch rooms because of the air conditioning quit working and we were not comped for the inconvenience. Door on bathroom had privacy issues. No one to help with luggage. It was in a great location for beach and kept very clean.

The hotel staff were great to work with in accommodating our request to move to a room farther away from the center courtyard which host live singers and dancer each evening until 11 pm-ish. For those looking to party late into the night, it would be a good option as it in the central section of SoBe entertainment strip. For those how like to call it any early night, there be more appropriate options elsewhere. It does have a great view of the beach and ocean.
