The staff were excellent and accommodating. We enjoyed the room view and the location the most. The cleanliness was not the best. We didn't realize cleaning only happened at the end of day 3. We had to get towels and toilet paper from the front desk. Also the breakfast needed some variety.

Night check in was not good. They charged me a deposit which was NOT returned the next day as promised. And they weren’t even apologetic about it. The shuttle stops serving at 9 pm, not 12pm. But! The day time shuttle driver was awesome and helpful and kind. And the pool was lovely.

Room size and room view The breakfast offered very limited options, and there were no gluten-free choices available. Prior to our stay, I contacted the hotel to ask about airport pickup and gluten-free breakfast options, but I did not receive any response. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised airport shuttle service and the positive reviews about the breakfast. Unfortunately, both aspects were disappointing. Compared to a previous hotel we stayed at in Miami—which was less expensive, in better condition, and offered a much better breakfast—this stay did not meet our expectations.

The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a good sleep. The breakfast was terrible. It is all ultra-processed rubbish apart from apples and bananas. Ice machine on our floor was broken. Noise from the corridor is loud, doors are flimsy and not good sound insulation. The shuttle will only pick you up if you phone before 9.30pm. We phoned at 9.50pm and were told it was already too late to be picked up, after being stuck in US immigration for 2 hours.

As we needed to stay close to the airport the location was perfect just a short taxi ride. Welcoming and efficient at reception. Spacious room, very comfortable bed and nice sofa area. We didn’t find anything to dislike during our brief stay.

We stayed 4 nights and only one morning was there cinnamon rolls. The best part of the breakfast was the pancake maker. Room was decent, clean with a small refrigerator and microwave. Free Parking, pool was good but never any pool towels. My boys liked the exercise room.

Clean facility. The transportation company that was reserved by the front desk staff for our cruise never showed up. After 1 hour and a half, the front desk staff were very curt and said it didn’t matter that they didn’t show up…to order an uber. So- beware! Just get an uber no matter what.

The property is located right by a lagoon. The feel is very serene. We had a suite which was spacious. Featuring a separate living room with an additonal tv. The bathroom was spacious & clean. Our suite faced the airport & we didnt hear any noise from traffic or the airport which is amazing. The breakfast was good. Although I did eat cereal because the fried egg was preseasoned & I'm allergic to black pepper. You can walk to a few restaurants near by in about 20 minutes or a short 5 minute car ride.

Our room was large and clean. We didn't expect to have a separate living room but that was a nice surprise! Not sure if all rooms have that but ours did. All amenities were clean and worked well. The breakfast was great. We didn't use the pool but would have used the hot tub if they had one. We'd definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Air conditioner was loud and kept us up half of the night. Also, fire alarm went off at 5am.

If you're looking for a good breakfast, this was not it. There was some type of convention going on & it seemed the breakfast staff had trouble keeping up with the demand. They even brought out a tray of omelets that were still very cold, so it was obvious that the food was not being temped before it was brought out. One of the days they stopped bringing out one of the items at 8 (breakfast went until 9). The pancake maker was the best though.

Booked two queen beds and was given one king with a pull out sofa.

After an hour and a half they finally answered and said “oh, you never for picked up. I’ll call the shuttle again. They should be there in 15-20 minutes.” After and hour and 45 minutes of waiting (with 5 kids!) we got picked up. The shuttle driver was horrible! Terrible driver! But also told us he was there an hour ago to noice us up and blamed us for being the problem. He stood on the curb the entire wait and he NEVER COME by. When we got back to the hotel, I talked to the front desk to ensure we would not have issues in the morning before our flight. The front desk told us we would not have issues and tonight was such a long wait because the driver go stuck in bad traffic…. The stories did not line up. I was discussed.

Location a few minutes from the airport. Great place to stay if you have an early flight or are stuck overnight for half the price of other airport area hotels.

My wife, my son, and I stayed for five long days. The room wasn't too bad, except that a bad smell came out whenever we turned on the air conditioning. Imagine, five days and the same breakfast every morning!

I was good not exceptional! The room was cleaned, it seemed like there were no close restaurants even though the location was a good one.

Found a handful of hair on the floor where my kid was playing. Room was adequately sized and otherwise okay but not clean…

Bathroom is not cleaned, I can’t control the AC, it took us an hour to get a shuttle, I booked this hotel because I was told they have a shuttle that goes to the cruise port, I get here and they do not. Just to check in a room took 2 hours. For the price I paid, this hotel is trash.

The little lake was filled with trash all along the shore workers came to clear the salt off our table while we were still eating. Food was awful, cold potatoes. Room was set at 72 with no options to turn it down. I messages and nothing was done to fix. Miserably hot at night.

Room is very good and spacious with nice lagoon view. But staff is using strong smelling cleaning products, smell in hotel lobby, elevators abd walkways. Also breakfast vould be better, there are no waffles or muffins. No complementary water.

if you choose this hotel for the shuttel service from and to the airport, be careful, because the van does not drive regularly to the airport, but it is a service on demand, so you have to call them. I did call them several times, but they never picked the phone, so i had to pay for a uber to the hotel!!!

The hotel overall was okay. The walls are paper thin. People next door were having a normal conversation and we can hear everything clear as if they were in the room with us. It annoys me when hotels are like this.

The front desk staff were amazing and very accommodating. Some of the other staff were cold/dismissive to my travel companion but other than that I would still give a 5 star.

Aside from the young lady at the front desk being a little snarky and the washing machine being out of order everything else was great. The shuttle guy was great. The room was clean. I chose this site because it had a laundry and I stayed a few days in Miami and wanted my clothes to be clean to go on my cruise. It certainly didn't ruin my trip but it would have been nice to have all clean clothes

I am a big fan of HIE and will continue to stay despite this. Just stinks when you are from a bad weather area and looking forward to swimming an you cannot.

Stayed 5 nights. Everything was great at this hotel. Room was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I only wish the buffet breakfast had 1 or 2 additional options. Overall 9/10

The property is super clean. The room is somewhat small but it has a separated space with a tv and a couch, so it has two tv screens which is very convenient when traveling with children. On top of that the breakfast is great with many choices. I'll definitely stay again there the next time I visit Miami.

I liked the cleanliness of the property, the bright windows and view of the trees and the lagoon. I also liked the bedding options and the hot breakfast. the hotel was also conveniently located near to shopping options. I found the number of cosmetic surgery patients rather creepy and a little distracting.

Stayed a few nights after a cruise with my family . The property was well maintained and comfortable. The staff were all pleasant and cooperative which made our stay even better. The breakfast was adequate to get the day started and we would definitely stay again.

Hotel does not respond to Expedia messages. After 10 days I had to call to say we were arriving very late and that we did not want rooms side by side. Of course at 2am the rooms were side by side. Night auditor was helpful. Breakfast should be served until 10am on weekends. On Sunday at 8:30am the buffet was completely empty of food. A staff meber had to tell the attendent to bring stuff out.

Nice outdoor pool with view of small lake. The beach towels were small but they kept bringing more out routinely. Nice helpful shuttle driver Barboro. Good Dove brand shower products, great king room with two flat screen tvs and sitting area, although no Bible. Bad reception on several tv channels, and unable to get to any on demand or netflix etc. They kindly allowed early check in and late check out on request, offered to hold luggage. Would recommend.

I love the shuttle van drivers but they need a new shuttle. The seats are dirty, worn, falling apart. Please fix that was my only complaint. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The staff kept it clean and made our cruise trip easy with their fast checking out and in process. I will be back.

I am very disappointed at the service provided at the hotel, never thought I would be treated the way I did. Service was good when arrived and check in to my room, the gentleman at the front desk gave good service. The complain comes when the service cleaning staff came to do my room, the service was bed was fixed & new towels were put in the bathroom only, no cleaning was done in the room & bathroom, the floor & carpet had dirt, sand & crumbs, floor was not swept & the carpet was not vacuumed, also no trash bags in the bathroom & room trash can. Very poor customer service, as a rewards member of the hotel you are allowed to do a late check out instead of 11am, had the staff knock on my room door around 10:50am telling me that my check out time is at 11am, asking what time I was checking out, told the staff as a reward member I am allow to check out late, she stated that she will put me down to check out at 12pm. I get a phone call in the room at 11:30 am & is the front desk lady stating that it was pass the check out 11am & needed to leave the room immediately, once again I stated I was a reward member, the lady did not care and told me I needed to leave the room now, my 7 years old and I had to rush and get all our stuff/luggages and leave the room in 5 min. Then as I go to the hotel parking lot to get the car to put our stuff in, I see a paper on the windshield stating the vehicle will be towed away to see the front desk. Never felt so humiliated like I did. Horrible.

Convenient and comfortable for an overnight/intransit quick trip. No dining available for Dinner but otherwise the experience was good.

The front desk staff was annoyed that we brought to their attention that our air conditioning was not cooling properly. The maintenance person was very good even though he could not speak much English. He recommended strong that we be moved to another room, which they did finally.

Needed towels but they were being washed. Not sure why there were not any available while others were being washed. May need to purchase more. Other than that, the stay was great.

Nice stay. I appreciated that the beds had both firm and soft pillow options. Pillows can make or break a stay. The only issue with our room was that the bathroom door stuck. You physically had to force it closed. Otherwise the first floor patio was nice, but the pool could have been more creative.

It was well kept. The only time I felt a little uncomfortable was the last night of our stay. There were some individuals, possibly hotels guest, asking if we wanted a smoke, I declined and they were respectful about it.

Our room was very nice and clean, beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The pool area is small but my kids enjoying swimming and seeing the water view behind the building.

Staff was very helpful during our stay. They helped us arrange private transport to the ports for our cruise. They also sent a driver to the airport to pock us up late at night.

I wished the ice machine worked on our floor. I always had to go to the second floor to get ice. I also wish they replenished the fruits during breakfast more often, they seem to ran out fast. And that I could walk around the hotel area outside. But i dont think there is anything to see nor can you go around in a circle. Other than that, i liked staying there. No problems with our room and it was quiet. Thankful for that.
