Great stay for a night before a cruise!

Only thing I would say that was discomforting about our stay in the unnecessary fee for parking. Moreover, they were cheaper that Intercontinental In ATL.

The room had kind of unpleasant odor, the only way I found to make it better was buying a Lysol spray.

Great hotel. We had a long layover in Miami and choose for free airport shuttle & breakfast. Worked perfectly for us. Staff was amazing & 24 hour Walgreens was right across the street. Highly recommend - will definitely use again when in the area.

The breakfast had something for everyone: oatmeal with yummy toppings, make yourself waffles with fun toppings, eggs, potatoes and sausage patties, cereal, fruit , yogurt & juices.

Loved your breakfast, person who checked us in was very friendly. The one hour wait for your shuttle. If it ran every half an hour you would have happy customers. We missed the shuttle NY 30 seconds. When your flying alot you just want to get to your hotel.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but very noisy. Doors are heavy and very noisy when opening and closing. Staff and guests spoke quite loudly outside my room early in the morning, waking me up.

The lobby had a fragrant scent that welcomed you. Throughout the hotel the scent remained, even the room had the same scent. The staff were extremely helpful. Only downside was when I was waiting on the shuttle at the airport - I don’t recall seeing it so I had to take an Uber

Unfortunately, the stay declined quickly. The bed frame in our room was severely defective and creaked loudly with even the slightest movement. After driving over four hours on the first day, we expected to rest, but the constant noise made sleep nearly impossible. When the hotel reached out to check on our stay the next day, we immediately reported the issue and let them know they could come by anytime to inspect the bed, as we would be out in the city majority of the day. No one ever came, and nothing was done. As a result, we were unable to get proper rest for two consecutive nights, which made the trip far more exhausting than it should have been. There were positives: breakfast was good, with fresh fruit and a nice variety of items. The secured parking felt safe and was worth the nightly fee. The location also offered easy access to major highways, which made getting around Miami convenient. However, the lack of response to a serious comfort issue overshadowed everything else. A hotel can have great amenities, but if you cannot sleep, the stay becomes stressful rather than relaxing. Based on this experience, we would likely not return.

First off I will say the staff is extremely friendly. They promptly picked us up from the airport after our flight. The most important review is that my son left a blanket and they offered to pick us up after our cruise back at the airport to come get the blanket. Not only did they do that they let us hang out by the pool and in the air conditioning for hours due to the 10 hour wait for our flight home! No hesitation and they returned us to the airport when we were ready! Will definitely stay again and again

This is a clean but older Hampton Inn that is conveniently located near the Miami airport. It served its purpose for a one night stay after a very long flight from Egypt. We appreciated the cleanliness but would recommend an upgrade to the mattress. The breakfast was well prepared and received.

I was more than double charged for parking. Had to contact hotel to get it credited back. Only saw maid service once in 4 days, had to take my own trash out. The parking garage is dirty and not well lite, but they charge fees for self parking.

The room was solid. Acess to the airport was good.

This overall was a great hotel, however the hotel shuttle took forever both picking us up from the airport and bringing us back the next am. We called them when we arrived at the airport and it took well over 30 minutes for them to arrive. The next am we scheduled the shuttle took we’ll pick us up at 9:00 and it was about 15 minutes late. Shuttles only run on the hour so we ended up using an Uber.

The room was good, clean, and comfortable. Check-in was easy, and the staff were very friendly. We received a coupon for 10% off dining at a restaurant across the street. The area is very walkable and convenient for dining or picking up forgotten items, with a grocery store located right nearby. The airport shuttle only runs once per hour, so we opted for a rideshare instead. A continental breakfast is offered, and the food was decent. The hotel also assisted us in arranging a third-party shuttle for our cruise. I would definitely stay here again for the convenient location and cleanliness.

We came in on a late flight, so I really liked that the hotel was a short uber ride away. Wish I could have gotten the hotel shuttle, but after 11pm there is no one on duty to drive the van. The checkin was smooth and the agent was very nice.

The staff was very friendly and professional, and the hotel had a really pleasant scent throughout. The room was also beautiful, clean, and comfortable. There are secure parking spaces directly at the hotel, and the parking fee is reasonable. Unfortunately, the rooms are not well soundproofed. We had a room near the elevator and could hear every single person coming and going. I also found the price for one night a bit too high.

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. We flew into Miami and needed a hotel to stay in for one night before embarking on our NCL cruise. Only hiccup for us was our fault--not the hotel's. We made in error in where to meet the hotel's shuttle--if you are traveling to Miami for the first time, you need to go all the way down to a covered bus stop area where hotel shuttles will pick you up. Once we got to the hotel, the check-in was seamless, we were able to book a next-day shuttle to the cruise terminal (cash only), and our kids enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool There's a hot tub too, and even outdoor restrooms. We had dinner across the street (lots of walkable options) at Sr. de los Tacos and had amazing Mexican food, and there was even a CVS withing walking distance where we could stock up on full-sized sunscreen since we only brought carry-on luggage on the flight. Very safe area to walk around. Continental breakfast the next day was excellent, shuttle came on time, even a little early, and all of our drivers were fantastic, giving us a little information about Miami en route to hotel and cruise terminal. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat. Extremely clean, friendly staff, and conveniently located near lots of restaurants and stores. We even traveled on Easter Sunday, and there were still stores/restaurants open.

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and made our overnight stay pre-cruise the easiest ever. The airport shuttle and available port shuttle, along with small but meaningful touches like providing staplers to attach cruise line luggage tags really made the stay top=notch. I would stay here again and recommend for any cruisers!

The hotel is in a great location relative to the airport. Our room was very nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was excellent and welcoming. Paid parking area was safe and steps to the back entrance. Only negative, and could have just been our room, I could hear my neighbor using the bathroom in the middle of the night when the a/c wasn't blowing.

The breakfast assortment was very diverse and tasty. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and if I return to Miami, I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again. They even recommended nearby eateries and gave us a coupon to take a percentage off of the overall bill.

Decent hotel but hallway smelled

Overall the property was clean and the staff was friendly. We didn’t like that the shuttle only ran once an hour where as other hotel shuttles came by 3,4 or more times in the time we were waiting at the airport.

Our room was excellent, spacious with separate bedroom, small kitchen, wonderful view of blue lagoon. Also, shuttle service to cruise port. We have stayed at your hotel many times in the past. One improvement you could make is in the pool area, seating and lounge chairs with better cushions.

Really convenient hotel with lots of features helpful to travelers. Free shuttle for the airport, fresh ice water in the lobby in addition to coffee and teas. A paid shuttle is available to transport guests to the cruise ship pier.

Shuttle- we had received an email from hotel telling us to go to a location and phone for pickup which we did. We were then told to go elsewhere and wait. Shuttle took an hour to come. Because we had followed directions to previous location we missed shuttle by about 3 minutes which meant a long wait. Why send an email with incorrect information? We didn't need an hour of standing with our kids after a long day.

Great hotel for families. Delicious breakfast, kind staff. Comfy beds and it was nice to have a pool and hot tub. The hot tub is TINY though. Like 4 adults filled it. Also, there is a big step up to it and it’s not marked at all. So at night be careful. My Dad tripped trying to walk up to the hot tub and broke his big toe. There definitely could be some updating done to the hot tub and some of the baseboards around the property. But it is right by water so some of that could just be from the humidity and ocean air. Convenient to the airport and cruise terminal though. We’ll be back when we cruise through Miami again.

Easy chech in process. Courteous front desk staff. Comfortable and clean room. Cruise port transportation for a fee a plus. Plentiful breakfast with adequate sitting. Nice outside sitting area with pool and jacuzzi. Supermarket, pharmacies, restaurants and Burlington store at a walking distance. I enjoyed my stay very much. Definitely recommend it.

We requested for an early check in and we understand that it was depending on availability. We opted to stay in their second floor dining room lobby because there were not much available seating in the front lobby. The front desk took my number and said they will call as soon as there is one available. 6 hours passed and was also past check out time, never got a call. I came down and there was an available room. I asked when they had rooms available, the guy said they were busy and never got the chance to check. When I came down there was no one there except for another person complaining. My husband even came down twice to follow up and he was told no room is still available. We were wiling to pay the extra charge for the early check in since we were exhausted from the trip and.just wanted to rest. We do understand that somet9’es it gets busy, but I wish they would have at least followed up whe the know we are waiting in the lobby for the availability. Another minor complaint was in the dining room, they didn’t have anyone that can speak English to answer questions.

TV in room was broken. Carpet is pretty dirty-you guys need to clean the Hotel new carpeting and new paint . The gate where you parked your car was broken. Almost hit my vehicle.

The hotel is nice and the person at the front desk at check in was friendly and helpful. However, when we got back from a long day of exploring Miami, I pulled the sheets back to go to bed and the bed was full of hair. Different types of hair at that. I called down to the front desk to let them know and request clean bedding. They assured me someone would be up. I waited at least an hour before finally going downstairs in my pajamas and getting fresh sheets and changing the linen myself. Again, I was dead tired. I was disgusted. Nothing was done about this inconvenience and for this reason I cannot give more than a 3 star rating.

Apon arrival we found that Expedia droped the ball and never forwarded our reservation to the hotel. We had to wait two and a half hours for them to find the reservation and a room. The room was next to a large AC UNIT. The room was very loud. Never again. The hotel was nice, food was good and service was good. EXPEDIA WAS THE PROBLEM.

6 min from Miami airport. Right next to everything you need for a zombie apocalypse. Walgreens, CVS, Wendy’s, Mcdonald’s, Burger King, etc. all just 1-2 blocks away. Room was very spacious and had a kitchen for my baby. No issues with storing milk.

I did the ParkSleepFly stay before and after my trip. Only problem was---I tried several times to call the hotel to get their shuttle service when i returned. Getting their "direct number" was a hassle with some AI person and then all I got was automated, asking me when i wanted to book a room, couldn't get a real person to answer to talk to at all!!! Luckily, (so lucky) someone heard me struggling. He had gotten the driver's number when he dropped their group off. He called the driver and we were picked up. It was 1:30 in the morning and not being able to get ahold of them was so frustrating--and scary--since i was traveling alone. One of the reasons i chose them was the 24-hour shuttle service, but when you're stranded at the airport at 1:30 in the morning and cant get ahold of Anyone... *Lesson - get the driver's number!! Otherwise, the hotel itself was clean, quiet, comfortable. Drinks, dinner and breakfast were very good. Although breakfast was being served to a specific group, buffet style, right in the lobby. Many people, myself included thought it was for anyone, but were told we couldnt have it and shooed away. Should serve that event in separate room, not accessible to the entire hotel. Many people just went without getting any breakfast and left. Infused water in lobby a plus. I thought parking was a bit pricy, $224 ($17+/day) for 13 days, plus two nights accommodations. I need more reliability, so will probably look for a different hotel next trip.

We loved our stay and everything at the hotel was amazing! The staff were very kind and helpful and wonderful in every way. We had a suite, which was very clean and spacious and I loved the entire setup of the suite. The bed was very comfortable and we had every amenity that we needed to make our quick stay absolutely wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel to others!

Older building/rooms than I expected…Neighborhood not as nice as I expected. Just ok. No ice machines on floors 1-7. Next time I’d stay in downtown or nicer area.

The room was a great size and very clean. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues (bathroom door wouldn’t close and the sink was very slow to drain), I reported these to the front desk and they were fixed within the hour - fantastic response from the staff. We used the outdoor hot tub which was well maintained and clean, and breakfast the following morning provided good hot and cold options. The free airport shuttle was also very handy. I would definitely stay here again.

People are nice. Relatively clean. But it’s older now, age is showing. The shuttle that only runs every hour is terrible. We waited almost an hr for it. Once we got there, Gustavo is nice but the shuttle wait is not good practice to only run once every hr.

We were stuck in Miami for 2 days for flight cancellations due to weather. After being up for almost 30 hours, we were happy for the clean bed and room. The mattress looked brand new. I always check before setting anything down for bedbugs, of which there was none. We would stay here again.

Staff was amazing. Location was only a few mins away from the Airport. The issue I had was the rooms. The pull out bed was broken, the bathroom door handle was broken and the sliding door to the bed room was broken. Room was very clean but we continued to find things wrong with the room.

Stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites Miami-Airport South-Blue Lagoon on Dec 21. We booked specifically for the airport shuttle, but it never came despite at least 6 calls between 7:26–8:08 PM (call log available). We had to pay for an Uber. When we arrived, all 3 shuttles were on site with a driver present. Front desk had no explanation. That night the hotel had repeated power outages—TV didn’t work, lights and AC went out multiple times. This made it difficult to rest before early travel. Requesting Uber reimbursement and compensation/refund for the night. Screenshots and photo available.

No hot water, so öur group had to take cold showers after a long I sensational flight. Maintenence came to look, then left saying he would check the boilers but never reported back. Electricity went out while in the elevator totally frightening our young child. Airport shuttle only comes once per hour, so you may have to wait a long time for that.

The carpets in the main passage ways and elevator areas were filthy and so was the carpet entrance by the room door. The pillow cases on the bed had yellow stains which was unpleasant.

The room was spotless and had more amenities than I expected, The room offered a refrigerator and stove, a lovely bedroom setup that was separate from the ining and sitting areas. Management was great with providing information on various nearby places to eat, along with food discount coupons. I also truly appreciate the free pickup from the airport and delivery to the hotel. Management also coordinated pickup and drop off at the Miami Pier to start our cruise, for a small fee to the transportation service company, of $14 per person. I would definitely book another stay here.

We had a good stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast could’ve used more variety but overall was good. I wish the rooms were cleaned daily rather than waiting or calling for trash pickup but it was conveniently located to the airport and to family we were visiting. Also nice to have a grocery store right across and some dining options nearby.

Check in went smoothly, no more than 5 minutes to register 2 rooms. The rooms with kitchens were very clean. The small Publix opposite the hotel provided sufficient products for an overnight stay. Miami airport passport/ border control was a slight pain. We queued for about 1 hour. Insufficient passport booths open to cope with volume of passengers arriving.

We were very impressed with this hotel. The outdoor pool & hot tub areas are right off the expansive breakfast area. Well maintained, lots of seating & plenty of towels. The room was very clean & LARGE! 2 room suite, HIGHLY recommend. Hotel across the street from stores we look for when traveling for business or pleasure. GREAT Italian restaurant across the bridge. The free shuttle only runs on the hour. The area around the hotel is what you’d expect being so close to the airport however we felt very safe walking around. If you’re staying over after a cruise, I recommend this property.

The transportation from the airport to the hotel was good but could have been better with more communication. Not saying that they pick up at the airport on the top of the hour but they leave the hotel on the top of the hour. I had to wait 45 minutes.

The guest service was out sanding. The hotel staff did above and beyond the room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice breakfast choices and the friendly staff kept replenishing things as needed. The hotel is conveniently located across from a shopping center with Publix, a liquor store, several restaurants and Burlington. CVS and Walgreens are both just across the intersection as well. The courtesy shuttle bus leaves hourly and the ride to Miami International Airport is very short. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We will definitely stay her again. My only negative is the air freshener in the lobby. I’m very sensitive to smells and that was very very strong.

My wife went to the front desk and was informed that we needed to stay in the room so the motion sensor could detect our presence. After about 30 minutes, the temperature actually rose to 77°F. Maintenance was then sent to check the air conditioning, and the technician advised that repairing it would take a long time and recommended we be moved to another room. The front desk later called to say that no other rooms were available and offered fans instead. My wife explained that we preferred a refund so we could move to another hotel, but she was told refunds could not be issued. We stayed while maintenance attempted to fix the air conditioning for about an hour, finishing around 9:05 pm. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved—the room remained hot and uncomfortable. We also had to listen to loud noise during the repair and we won’t be able to sleep at all.

Go to water. Place was very clean. Bed super comfy and clean. Breakfast good. Super helpful front desk. Before I arrived I did try to call the property a few times but got no answer. That made me nervous. But once there it was great. When I called for the shuttle from the airport, I was told there would be a 1pm shuttle. That’s when the shuttle leaves the hotel not when you should expect. That was a little off putting. A better explanation would have helped me think they weren’t coming.

We were not able to take the airport shuttle. We called the hotel multiple times to tell them which door we were at but no one answered. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived (we were early) so they were able to hold our luggage while we went and got food. There are plenty of food options close to the hotel. The room was clean and up to date.

As a business traveler it is unacceptable for an airport hotel to only offer a shuttle to the airport that is 10 mins away once an hour on the hour. You should communicate that in your initial description. Very poor service.

The shuttle driver was very nice and always on time, even though the shuttle only runs once every hour. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the free breakfast is a plus. I also want to say that the staff were very friendly. The location is very convenient—within walking distance of restaurants and fast-food places like Burger King and McDonald’s. There’s also a Publix and a Burlington nearby.

There really needs to be a better system for informing guests about the actual working condition of amenities. This is becoming a recurring issue, and it’s disappointing to have it happen again. Was a great place to stay when getting ready for your cruise departure. Shopping available for last minute needs and great restaurants across the street Fermin the hotel. Staff were great and the shuttle service to the port was great!

The airport shuttle service is the worst I have ever encountered. When I booked property, I called the hotel directly and was told that shuttle service from the airport runs every hour on the hour. I stood outside with my six year old son for an hour and half waiting. The shuttle did not come. I ended up taking an uber. I could not call the hotel because my roaming service was not working. Thank God I was able to arrange an uber using the airport Wi-Fi. Also the room was relatively clean but it was dated and very stuffy. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

It was very clean and felt fancy without the fancy price. Breakfast was good and complimentary. The pool was a nice outdoor area but the jets were not very strong. We had a great stay and the staff was so friendly! Although we did have a false alarm at 3am one night and the building had to evacuate, no compensation or anything was given to the guests that had to stay outside for twenty minutes. Overall a good stay and would return.

The Internet was ok..it wasn't the best Saturday night, probably because several others were using it that night..but Sunday the Internet worked very well throughout the day. I stayed in the suite, and it was wonderful. I made spaghetti, being that they provided me with a strainer, two pots and one pan, plates, bowls, drinking glasses & wine glasses, along with silverware & utensils. This was my first time booking a suite there. I booked a suite when I stayed here for the first time this past June. The breakfast was great..I even had seconds. I'm planning my next stay in Miami there next month November.

This was a good place for a post cruise stay. We did not have a clear understanding of the complimentary airport shuttle. We missed the 5am shuttle and did not want to wait for the 6am shuttle, so we had to take an Uber to the airport. Other than that little hiccup, the stay was pleasant and the staff was very nice.

Little interaction with staff but when I did, they were great. Would be nice to have a bar or food options at the hotel but as expected for the traditional Hampton Inn experience. Parking extra which was a bummer. Also, don’t forget you don’t get any honors/members points or perks when booking through Expedia.
