The room was nice and clean however there were roaches in the room near the door, bathroom and in the closet. I told the front desk and they said they would have maintenance look at it and no one came. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the roaches were my only issue.

We stayed for 5 days. But they only do cleaning once a week, so our room was not cleaned during our stay. Like beds were not made, bathroom was not cleaned. Only thing that was really done was towels were exchanged twice. But even the floors were left sandy, etc. AC unit worked somewhat. Parking was ok. Staff was great. No breakfast.

Yes, my pet was welcomed and AC wirked in the room. No one would come by to pick the trash. I had to leave it outside my room.

My husband and I had a king bed room, which was very clean and spacious. It was nice to have the kitchenette with a 2-burner cooktop, but it could have used more silverware. There was a toaster and coffee maker as well as a full sized refrigerator. There was a recliner rather than a loveseat, and the recliner would not recline completely, which annoyed my husband. We had an issue with the cooktop when we first arrived, but a call to the front desk was quickly adressed by maintenence in a matter of minutes. I should also mention how quiet our room was, even though the hotel is just across the road from an executive airport. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Needs to run the water a long time for it to get actually hot. No parking at night has to park on the street or in the handicap also they don’t do the room at all they will give you the sheets for you to change it. I only recommend this hotel to short stays or overnight not for a long stay.

The bathroom was DISGUSTING, the walls had stains of idk what running down them, curtains had black stains all over them, our toilet clogged and we called in the morning to get it fixed and they told us to wait till the following day to get it fixed, had to fix it myself. The couch had stains, stove didn’t work, bed had little black idk what all over it. There was ZERO parking after 9pm. Told to park at the hotel behind them and walk back. It was just bad, never coming to this hotel again.

Location is great, quiet and away from hustle-bustle. Room layout is great and amenities good. No coffee or ice from the lobby, machines broken, we had to make those all ourselves (and ice was NOT sufficient) and most of the TV stations didn't work. Most of the staff spoke no English and couldn't help with anything. The hotel did discount our price some which helped, but for the standard price, everything should work correctly.

It was very clean, everyone was very nice. If you are taking a cruise I would suggest you find a closer hotel. It was a $106 cab ride to get there from the brightline station. This is my fault not the hotels but had I known how far it was 40 mins away lol. 😂 to wake up the next morning to go all the way back to the cruise terminal. I haven’t heard the end of that one btw hahahah. Anyway! The hotel is great!

My recent one-night stay at Candlewood Suites was unfortunately riddled with issues from start to finish. To begin with, my reservation was specifically for a king bed, yet the hotel failed to honor it and instead assigned me a room with two double beds. No explanation, no apology — just a clear disregard for accuracy and guest expectations. The problems continued once I entered the room. The blinds would not fully close, leaving the space exposed to outside lighting and compromising both comfort and privacy. For a brand that caters to extended-stay travelers, such a basic oversight is unacceptable. Noise throughout the property made the stay even more unpleasant. Whether due to thin walls or poor management of common areas, the constant disruptions made getting any rest nearly impossible. Parking was another headache. Despite arriving at a reasonable time, there were no available parking spaces, forcing me to circle repeatedly and ultimately settle for a distant spot. Overall, Candlewood Suites failed to deliver even the fundamental elements of a comfortable hotel experience. Between the incorrect room assignment, malfunctioning blinds, excessive noise, and inadequate parking, this stay was deeply disappointing. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to other travelers.

Extended our stay by 3 extra nights. First 4 days were fine but then for unknown reason we had no housekeeping for the last three nights. Garbage cans were over flowing

I do not recommend this hotel. It has cockroaches, and we informed the hotel, but the manager did nothing to resolve the problem. They just steal money from guests and provide terrible service. This hotel is disgusting. I took photos and videos, and even then, they wouldn't help us and never face the customer. The bathroom exhaust fans don't work, and we have to sleep with that awful smell. This hotel is horrible.

Tuvimos un problema con el dishwasher que no funcionaba, pero lo reemplazaron al otro dia. La habitacion super comoda, solo que en la cocina el gabinete de arriba esta muy grande y no da suficiente espacio abajo para usar el tope de la cocina. Fui a pasar unos dias de recuperacion de una cirugia. Todo lo demas super bien.

A snafoo with our rental car experience resulted in us having a super late check-in, and when I called to notify the front desk, they made things super easy for us when we arrived, acknowledging that they knew we were tired and just wanted to go to bed. I love the concept of the lending locker, and the crockpot came in super handy to make my daughter's favorite meal for her birthday!

La habitación es grande ,está limpia. En el caso de toallas sucias tienes que bajar con ellas para la recepción para que te den limpias, pero en general los recomiendo porque está limpio espacioso, no se siente bulla

This wasn’t “bad luck” — it was the direct result of filthy, poorly maintained facilities and a complete lack of hygiene protocols. The carpet in our room was visibly dirty, the pool and common areas were unsanitary, and I saw no evidence of proper cleaning or sanitization. On top of that, our bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush, and although maintenance eventually fixed it, a pipe began leaking in the bathroom shortly after. For a hotel that welcomes families, this is completely unacceptable. Because of this stay, I am now forced to take time off from work so I can care for my sick child while he recovers — adding financial stress on top of an already awful situation. I am sharing this so other parents know the risks before booking. Illnesses like these are preventable with basic sanitation, timely repairs, and responsible management. Until this hotel takes real action to protect its guests, it should not be considered a safe place for families.

Stayed at Candlewood Suites Miami Exec Airport - Kendall from July 17 to July 22, 2025, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The air conditioner in my room was leaking nonstop, soaking the entire carpet. The room smelled damp and was completely uncomfortable — especially distressing as I was traveling with a toddler. I reported the issue multiple times throughout my stay, but no one ever came to check or offer assistance. The lack of concern from hotel staff was beyond disappointing. By the time I reached my limit, I had no choice but to leave and book another hotel — out of pocket — just to ensure a safe and clean space for my child and me. This level of neglect is completely unacceptable. I expected at least basic comfort and responsiveness, but received neither. I will never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this location.

Overall was excellent !!! Only down fall is the hotel doesn't offer breakfast like there neighboring hotels . . You guys offered complementary apples and bananas and coffee !!! Bananas were brown half the time and the apples were 2 bite apple . Had to go to Wawa every morning for coffee .

The customer service was absolutely fantastic. However, this is a bit of a party hotel. We had a room by the pool and there were people partying out by it until midnight each evening.

Really nice and clean place . Staff is super friendly .if I had to complain about anything it would be that the air in the room will not go very cool and the microwave didn't work . But otherwise great stay and will definitely use them again .

They don’t provide towels for the pool either. The carpet could use a good steaming. The pull out sofa bed is HORRIBLE! Needs replaced or a new mattress. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever TRIED to sleep on. If you like metal rods on your body, this is for you lol. There is also a very unpleasant FUNKY smell as soon as you get off the elevator. We were on the 2nd floor.

I didnt like the fact that ot states they have shuttle service which they do not. Check in was a nightmare they should tell you that they start charging your card the day before and when you get to the property they charge another 100. They also should like guests know they dont take cash. I had fleas jumping on me

Very nice staff. Room was very spacious. Bed was very comfortable and I liked the choice of soft and firm pillows. AC worked great! I didn’t use the kitchen but it was clean and efficient. The bathroom was just ok. It looked clean but newer towels would be nice. The floor in the bathroom needs to be updated to give it that sparkly clean look. A few more toiletries would have been nice too.

I am not sure they’ve ever cleaned the floors or carpets here. We have two rooms and they are both filthy. My daughter showered in her shoes. Someone else had filthy feet and put them on the wall by the bed. Filthy footprints on the wall.

The room was nice and the lobby was as wrll. There was a very bad smell in the hall and there was an overflowing trashcan in the hallway like the ones housekeeping uses,but other than that it was a nice property.

After you shower you must open the door Shower tiles had mold Rooms are cleaned every 3rd day. You pay extra for daily service. If you need towels you must bring your towels to the main desk to exchange for clean ones. Hotel has an agreement with local hospital to place patients in hotel for post hospital stay. When we arrived there were several patients in the lobby. We thought we in annex of a hospital. My wife and I had a 6 day stay to see our grandchildren who live locally. Next time we will drive further away. The lobby has a nice look, but don’t let this outer shell deceive you. We travel numerous times a year but this stay was one of our worst stays ever. PS They don’t serve breakfast. You need to drive to get some food. Remember their price is one of the lowest but you get what you paid for. Pay a little more and get what you deserve.

a day before our check out asked about late check out and hit answer No. A/C had two mode for fan: low and high. Low mode simply turns AC off. Refrigerator made such noises that we needed to turn it off. Think twice before booking there a room.

I come to this location often due to its proximity to my job. First the good: there is plenty of parking space, the grass is well kept, there is no breakfast but the free coffee is actually good and the AC very cold, having said that, I am sad to say I have witness the slow deterioration as time passes. The bathroom had a leaky shower, the wall have water damage spots that someone has just painted over, instead of fixing and this was obvious by the bubbling paint. the comforter had holes, the table had one caster only so it was uneven and a hazard. It was evident the refrigerator was not cleaned after the prior guest since it had items that should not have been there and the safety box was locked with the previous guest code. Finally the ice machine was not working. This location has been my go to for years but as I said, the slow declined of quality is making me wonder where would I stay next month.

Ideal for King Jesus church conferences, self-catering option is useful with grocery stores nearby, airport opposite is very quiet. We suggest to visit Everglades Indian Village on Tamiami Trail.
