Quiet and clean. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. In room laundry was great to have. Thank you for the loan of the umbrella. It’s about a half mile from east side of Miami Beach where the swimming beaches are. Wish pool hours were longer.

There is also a balcony, which is a nice touch, but at night there were several lizards on the ceiling. When the balcony light was on, they would go away, but it seems like the hotel controls the lighting, so that’s something to be aware of if you plan to use that space in the evening. Another nice perk is that Joe & The Juice is attached to the hotel, which was really convenient. My main issue was with the bed. It was very stiff and not the most comfortable, and you can tell that not much was invested in the mattress quality. It’s also a smaller queen size, so while two people can fit, it’s a bit tight. We had three people total,two shared the bed and one slept on the couch, which wasn’t very comfortable either. One thing to keep in mind is that this is more of a boutique-style hotel, so staffing is limited at certain times. I prefer to have extra towels ready for both my night and morning showers, but housekeeping wasn’t available late in the evening. Initially, I was a little concerned when I was told I’d have to wait, but the staff did come through,they were able to get the towels, and they were in the room when we returned.

Jesus the valet driver was the best part of the property The staff was rude! We literally had issue where they have is a room and the refrigerator was OFF our food went bad we told them and was told we couldn't have a refund we never asked for one just was an FYI

Location is great. You can walk to the beach,shopping and restaurants. The pool is heated, small but nice and relaxing. Washing machine didn’t work, staff was quick to accommodate unlocking and washing our clothes and brought back to our room

It was clean, very cozy but extremely spacious for Miami, staff was amazing a special shoutout to Kellie. She was very professional, gave me amazing recommendations for fine dining. I had a late flight the property was unable to give me a later check past 12 however, I was still able to enjoy the amenities until it was time to go to the airport. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. I have no complaints

No bedside tables in bedroom…very inconvenient. Did not stay long enough to explore neighborhood but what I saw was lovely. Lots of folks about walking, running and biking. Beautiful plants, flowers and trees everywhere. Driving out I did see lots of shoppes on West Ave.

The location offers restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops nearby. The beach is a twelve minute walk away.

It is within walking distance (about 1.3 km), roughly 19 mins to the beach and 15 mins to Lincoln Road (1.1 km). It is not related to the hotel but as a note Miami beaches are public, and even though you rent a shade and a sun bed (which costs 70 USD for two beds and one umbrella) you cannot spend all day because you cannot eat and drink on Miami Beaches. Bring your own shade and sun chair. The bedroom is clean and tidy, but there could be some bedside tables. It is hard to put your phone, books, etc and charge them without a table. The same can be said for drawers as well. More drawers or shelves would be nice. Smoking is not allowed even on the balcony. That seemed a little bit strange.

The best most romantic babymoon vacation for my husband and I - quiet area of Miamia Beach but still close to all the main attractions in Ocean Drive and Collins, close to whole foods, and cute morning coffee shops. It was our home away from home! We didnt want to leave and are already booking to come back!! Everything was absolutely amazing :)

I loved the size of the apartment — it was spacious and very comfortable. It truly had everything I needed for a longer stay: washer/dryer, dishwasher, small fridge, iron and ironing board, etc. That made a big difference. The location was also excellent and very convenient. I also really appreciated that they allowed me to check in about 2.5–3 hours earlier than the expected check-in time since the room was ready, that was very helpful. The housekeeping was disappointing. They don’t actually clean the room — they mostly just make the bed and change towels. I’m very particular about cleanliness, and I could tell the bathroom, counters, the shower, and table were not properly cleaned. That really bothered me. Also, one night the water was shut off unexpectedly. When I called the front desk, I was told a technician had turned it off but there was no clear timeline for when it would be back on. I also found the checkout experience disappointing — the staff member did not offer to help open the door while I was carrying two suitcases, which felt a bit rude. Basic customer service in my opinion.

This is always my go-to hotel when I’m in town visiting my daughter. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, which makes every stay feel comfortable and easy. The location is great, quiet and peaceful and convenient. The rooms are very clean and impressively spacious, and the fully equipped kitchen is perfectly stocked for daily use. It truly feels like a home away from home.

The pool was so nice and the room had everything you could need in it from utensils, plates, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Also the shower was great and the bathroom a nice size. I always book a room with a balcony because I like to sit in the sun on the balcony but in this specific room the balcony did not get any sun whatsoever and I found that disappointing. It was kind of pushed back from everything and shade all the time. If you like shade it would be good for you but as for myself I love sun. Also when I first got in the room I called the front desk to hopefully get switched but it went to a recording and when someone finally did answer I already unpacked.

The ABAE Hotel was a good stay for the couple of days we were there. It was clean and comfortable. There was some things that were dated, but that is just hotel life. The service was great. The pool was warmed at night and cool during the day. It was rooftop with awesome views. The location was perfect, off the busy strip but a easy 20 min walk to the popular beaches. There is a cool cafe off the lobby that makes good sandwiches (gluten free options as well).

The rooms were very stylish and clean. It was like staying in a small apartment with all the conveniences.

The room was beautiful the view not so much . Very spacious it felt like a one bedroom apartment. I had such a great time with my boyfriend. Also the washing machine and dryer included in the room is such a bonus. The rooftop pool was wonderful.

We love the ABAE. I live in the area and it’s my preferred hotel for visiting friends and family. Think of it like a very nice modern apartment. Rob and Nicolas at the registration desk are very friendly and accommodating.

The staff are exceptional at the Abae. Polite and helpful. The pool was shut for a few days during my stay for refurbishment and the terrace in my suite was a lil tired and the TV in the living area of my suite did not work but other than that it was a brilliant stay. Walking distance to a lot of places. I walked to Oxean drive and the beach and took me under 20 minutes and I am far from fit. Publix supermarket is 12 minutes walk away. I felt safe as a solo traveller celebrating my 51st bday. I even took in a Miami Heat game for under £15 all in (tip wait until a couple of hours before the game go to ticketmaster absolute bargain). Got extended checkout for free for an hour and spent the rest of the time in the pool area until time to leave for the airport. They even give you towels and there is a shower also. Thank you Abae for allowing me to claim back Miami as my place of peace and I will be back for another solo adventure.

I stay here all the time and this time it wasn’t great. Pool / rooftop weren’t available and I had 2 worms.

A long way to go to get to luxury. Rooms need updating and are small. There is a washer which served as a dryer and does not work. Housekeeping needs major training and the tv in the living room did not work despite our calls to the front desk. Too far away from the beach more of residential neighborhood. Stay one night and see for yourself before booking multiple nights.

The room had everything you could want: dishwasher, fridge, washer, and microwave — way more than expected. Perfect location too, close to top restaurants and easy to get anywhere with a quick Uber. Clean, modern, and super comfortable. Would 100% stay here again.

It was an absolute delight to stay there. Everything was just perfect. We had a delayed flight and things were going wrong that day. It was the perfect environment for a tropical vacation, like being at home and at the same time having all the vacation conveniences.

I love this hotel. They were very accommodating. We got to check in early with no problems. Everyone was very welcoming & polite. I would stay here again. It’s a perfect place for a stay in Miami. Close enough to walk to the strip or take an uber.

We chose this hotel because of it's location. It's in a quiet residential area with lots of convenient options nearby. The cruise port and Miami Beach are a short drive away. Whole Foods is less than 6 minutes on foot and we found a ton of restaurants, shopping and the beach after a leisurely 20 minute walk. The room was clean and had all the basics plus a refrigerator, dishware, etc. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the outlets were hidden behind the headboard on one side, which made it inconvenient for one of us to charge our phone at night. Management should consider cutting a notch for easier access. It was nice to have balcony access but there's no view if that's your thing. We discovered there wasn't any overhead lighting by the washer-dryer and had to use our phone's flashlight in that area after dark. The rooftop was very quiet and they provide pool towels, which was nice. Overall it was worth it to stay here and I would consider returning.

Broken TV’s, walls are extremely thin. Could not sleep because of room next door being up all night screaming and banging on the walls. Called front desk and they sounded annoyed that we were calling them. Bed was uncomfortable and blankets were not cleaned properly.

The bed was comfortable, the balcony had a cool view of palm trees lining the side street, and the shower water pressure was amazing! The hotel was in a walkable area to nearby dining, Walgreens (next corner), and liquor stores. Just a 20 min walk to the beach and the action on South Beach. Lyft ride was $5 tops! I really enjoyed the pool on the roof with ample day beds to tan on and open skies to get a good tan in! 10/10, would recommend! I’ll be headed back in July to celebrate closing on my new home… I can’t wait! Thanks for everything…

We had a very nice and comfortable room to relax after a long drive. It was nice having a kitchenette to be able to eat dinner and breakfast in.

This hotel was nice and had good amenities, but the bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank. I woke up very sore from how hard the bed is. The rest of the hotel is nice, but I don’t know that my husband and I could stay there again because we both had a rough night’s sleep due to the hard bed.

We all my enjoyed it stay. The staff was top notch!

The room was clean and tidy. However, there’s no parking except in the valet which is 40$ a night. Staff does not communicate with each other and arrangements made by morning shift are not told to night shift so there’s always a mix up. Wanted to charge us for dirty towels. Building is old with updated features. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is in a great, central location, a short walk from restaurants, drug stores, grocery stores and even a target. The rooms were nice and spacious and having laundry in the room was fantastic. Great staff and a great stay. I stayed here the night before a cruise. It is a bit of a drive from the hotel to the cruise port as you have to go back to the mainland and then back out to the island where the port is. However, staying just blocks from the art deco district of south beach was more appealing to me than being 2 minutes from the port.

Overall the hotel was nice. Pricey… took a cold shower twice. Turns out I’m not a fan of South Beach in general. Brickell is definitely more my speed and a bit more worthy of high resort fees as the hotels are a lot more ‘resort” like.

The air conditioning made terrible noises every time it turned off and kept us awake all night. If that wasn’t enough, there were people in the next room that were yelling and partying and fighting and slamming their patio door all night long. When you phone the front desk, but they don’t answer, you have to leave a message. When we reported this information, they did not care. Additionally, I paid for my room through Expedia, and the hotel charged me again!! In addition, they charge a $44 a night resort fee, for what! I would not recommend this hotel at all Unless you want to overpay for a very restless night. Had this Resort fee actually been properly disclosed, I would’ve never booked this hotel. Why would I pay a resort fee at a hotel that is not a resort, it had no amenities except for a pool that closes at 8 PM. No restaurant, no other facilities to use. Some Resort!!!

Very quiet hotel which is perfect, didn’t have to listen to children running up and down hallways or late night door slamming!!

The sofa in the living area had numerous stains and the shower was dirty. We never sat on the sofa during our stay. We also found a few questionable items in the bathroom drawers from a previous guest (that we immediately threw in the bin) which showed me the lack of attention to detail while cleaning. Despite these setbacks, we tried to make the best of our short stay. The maintenance and housekeeping staff were kind. I would not stay here again.

Our room smelled of cat pee and even after informing the staff, no one came to confirm or offer any room changes. The pool and rooftop also close at 8pm but you are still charged a resort fee regardless. Not located very conveniently either

This was our first stay at the ABAE and it was wonderful! We hadn’t expected such fantastic accommodations right near South Beach and we have every intention of staying here again!

This property was awesome! It is modern chic. The rooms are set up like studio apartments. The area is very clean and close(walking distance or a short uber ride) to everything. The beach/ocean & collins ave is a 15min walk away. I will definitely be returning and I definitely recommend it.

Our stay was good but there was a few things. We didn't have hot water we had to keep asking for them to fix it. We had two dirty pillows, me and my partner slept on the sofa bed because the bed room sheet was to small and kept coming off. And for some reason every time we turnt on the water it gave off a funny smell. And the pool close to early.

Very spacious for two people. Fairly clean with the exception of the bathroom. Convenient to the free South Beach trolley, Walgreen's and Whole Foods. A short Uber and bus ride to the touristy Ocean Drive. You can also walk if you dont mind a 15-20 minute trek. Would definitely book again. Pretty inexpensive for what you get.

What a beautiful and modern boutique hotel. The room is super clean. The staff including the Manager are super friendly and very welcoming. Walking distance to places to eat or grocery shop(Whole Foods). I highly recommend anyone visiting Miami Beach to stay here.

Abae is a decent hotel for a quick weekend stay. The bathrooms can use an upgrade and the couches in the living room area can use a deep cleaning.
