    I liked how it had a kitchenette however, it was not clean and in a very noisy area. The housekeeping was not reliable either.

    This was very disappointing. No elevator for 4 of my 7 night stay. Service was dodgy. The room safe wasn’t locked down and when the handyman showed up he just screwed it into the drywall and it came out in 1 second. Property is very dated. The only reason why they aren’t getting a 1 star is that (1) the room was huge. (2) the manger did what she said she was going to do.

    Very clean place. They offer a kitchen area, which was convenient. While it does not include a stove or cooktop, there is a microwave available, which is useful for warming food. The only downside is that there were no plates or dishes provided to eat from after heating up meals.

    The location was nice, just a block from the beach. And there is a really good Puerto Rican restaurant on the next block up. The food was soooo good! There was black mold in the bathroom. The whole place smells like mold. The room was dirty, especially the floors. There was a bad/ heavy energy in the place. Made me feel anxious while we were inside the building. But felt immediately better after walking outside.

    I loved the convenience of the location! It gave AirBnB aesthetics which was good as far as food preparation and such. I didn’t like the pool and I say pool loosely! The Nats in the bathroom of our room was terrible I got bit up all on my legs and ankles. Could also use a paint job and dead bugs cleaned off the walls

    The elevator was also broken and lugging our large suitcases up the stairwell was unpleasant, but it was repaired during our stay. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, the room was modern. I would advise them to install sound proof windows such as the ones the other hotels that we have stayed at in south beach have, as you will be awaken by traffic noise from time to time. Not being able to take a shower for 3 days definitely leaves an unpleasant feeling about the hotel and the staff that said in a friendly manner that there was nothing they could do.

    Well I didn't like that they gave me n my sister n handicap room. The room had a huge bathroom with no doors.absolutly no privacy when we inquired they said it's a late check in . Then no elevators werent working so we had to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor

    We stayed one night before we boarded our cruise ship and it wasn’t terrible. When we got off the ship and stayed again, it was not great! Elevator broke, third floor with luggage (a gentlemen helped when we got there but on our own in the morning we left) we paid a non refundable resort fee, which I have no idea where they got they have a resort.. then on top of that they hold $100 until a few days after you check out after we paid in full a month before we arrived…needless to say we will not stay there again…

    They had no room for us at 4pm check in, the elevator was also broken and we had heavy suitcases, very slow front desk, there was line up for check in with no rooms available. If you want to wait for couple hours to get your room and carry your heavy suitcases upstairs by yourself and use dirty washrooms in their bar then this is your hotel.

    The bathroom was disgusting look like it had mold. Everytime you turned on the light in the bathroom the electricity would snap. The ice machine is outside and looks like a fire hazard. Could be a really cute hotel. The must have smoked in it years ago because the halls smell like stale old cigarettes.

    There was mold in the bathroom and the elevator was broken for the entirety of our five day stay. We had to haul our bags up and down three flights of stairs and were not offered assistance by any staff members. The rooms were not cleaned once, towels were merely replaced. The staff also could not located our reservation at first and subsequently charged us a hidden fee of 34$ per day for a “resort fee.”

    The elevator was out for the entirety of my stay and I was on the top floor. That was a huge inconvenience. The room was very dusty - especially in the closet. The suite is big and the kitchen equipment was all very clean and working. The bathroom is very small and there is no hook or rod to hang your towel on. There was a hole in the bathroom mirror with exposed wiring. The gentleman who checked me in was kind enough to carry my bag upstairs since the elevator was not working. It's a great location.

    Convenient location, near beach all stores and restaurants. Over top of fat Tuesday’s so easy to grab a bite to eat and drink if need be. The elevator didn’t work and the pool was like a kiddie pool very small.

    The location and the room was great. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious room. Staff was friendly. The room smelled moldy. It wasn’t really clean. We were missing a bed sheet between the duvet and the bed and the bed frame was dirty. The bathroom was also only medium clean.

    Honestly a really solid place to stay, the room was clean and the staff was super friendly! The lobby is really small and the elevator is small and old but still completely accessible and a good sized room. The bathroom had no door which was random and surprising lol but I’d stay here again for sure. Really good price point for south beach.

    Super close to the ocean, lots of stores nearby, Walgreens. We were lucky to have one bedroom and dining room with oven and fridge. It was spacious. Hotel had some slight reconstruction and elevator didnt work when we were leaving the hotel with luggage, luckily we were on 2nd floor )) I would come back to this hotel again.

    It was very close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The elevator did not work the whole trip. The stove top worked but the bottom did not work. The water would only get luke warm. The refrigerator light did not work. Did not like that the bathroom was in the room so you never have any real privacy if you need it.

    That I was told I'd have to wait 3-5 days for my deposit to be returned and it's been a month and I still haven't gotten it back. The hotel refuses to answer any of my calls, and my bank can't get my money back because the charge is pending because The hotel hasn't released the hold on the money. The elevator didn't work for almost half my stay, the hotel randomly smelled like feces, I reserved a suite with a spa bath in it, and instead was given a room that only had a standing shower. Someone next door kept me and my husband up until the early hours of the morning yelling and breaking things in the room. Then began using power tools for something in the room. I requested a maintenance order for replacement batteries for the room safe and was lied to and told he came and checked the batteries and they were fine. However they weren't.

    The hotel was great! It’s a little older but we enjoyed the place, it has such a quiet vibe. You could sit outside in the evening in their open garden and relax. Our room was clean and comfortable! Ezekiel and Nathaniel were top notch. Any questions or issues that we had they completely took care of them. Ezekiel went above and beyond for us. So friendly and personable. We enjoyed being treated so warmly by him. Natalie was not very personable and very unapproachable, just overall unfriendly when at the front desk. Would definitely stay again.

    P the home could be cleaner. There were a little bugs on the countertop in the room. There was hair all over the bed all over the walls. The place needs a huge upgrade. It was OK. I do not feel like I would come back and hopefully I get my deposit back.

I have two dark purple bites about the size of a penny that are increasing in size. - The ‘pool’ is 6 feet across and 3 feet wide, with a depth of about a foot and a half. - They do not have an airport shuttle as described, so we had to pay for a $50 uber. - The bathroom had no xoint

The pillowcases were stained and yellowy. The sink dripped underneath, the shower leaked water outside the shower door. The water wasn't hot enough. The couch was stained we had to cover it with a blanket to sit. The living room tv was broke. There were no more vacant rooms and we were only there for the night so we uncomfortably sucked it up and slept 4 hours. The courtyard it pretty though..

    Bedroom door cannot close due to bed positioning in the room. Only one TV remote for two TVs in the room. Five channels, ranging from Nickelodeon to Food Network. Sign said free breakfast but it was just “fresh coffee” from 8-10am. Pool is basically a cold jacuzzi, open 8am-8pm. They announced our room number aloud with others in the room, a serious safety hazard. Shower pressure mediocre, and temperature was never stable. Elevator didn’t seem to work after 11pm, or it was broke down. One amenity is a free cocktail… at a different hotel 1.5 miles away. Location is impeccable. But that’s the only positive.

    I was told that that there would be 24 hour service. And someone would be able to open the gate door for me after 11pm if I forgot my code. But that was not the case. I had to book another place to stay, bc no one answered the phone or the entrance when I got back the the hotel after 11pm unacceptable.

    First suite given to us the sink was not working and the kitchen light had electrical issues. We were given a second room, but then the glass shower door would not close in the bathroom and therefore the bathroom door could not close. The smoke detector also had plastic covering on it. Maintenance and manager were already gone in the evening. I told them that we can't keep changing rooms as I had my 14 year old niece and we needed to be somewhere that night. They did fix the door the following day while we were out. Cherry on top was that the room had few tiny roaches (saw 3-4). I was so tired of finding things, we just decided to deal with it. They offered no compensation or anything to make the stay better, and said they don't do that. I would have been happy with some snacks and soda. I would not stay here again. Two stars for the location.

    The condition of the room was not up to par. Paint was peeling there were stains on the curtains floors were dirty as well as the table and stove. There was a window in the shower that you could see out and people could see in who wants to take a shower with an open window you can see out of. Also was charged a 34.20 resort fee that was not stated I would be charged on Expedia website it said all fees and charges were included.     The pool was extremely small and dirty. There was no light in the living area I was given a room that did not sleep 4 people even though thats what i requested. The TVs only had one channel that didn’t work. There was absolutely nowhere to put any items (dressers/drawers/soap dish/towel racks or any counter space in the bathrooms.     The picture definitely does not match the view in person.The flooring was terrible.The wood was coming apart..The vent dripped water all night.We had to put like 10 towels all night to soak up all the water.They said they had no other room for us to stay in that night.So we d to stay in there with water leaking everywhere or find another hotel last minute 😡

    I like the homey feel of the rooms. We were able to cook in the room. There were very limited dishes & cookware. We had 2 family members stop by which was staying at a nearby hotel & we couldn’t even off er them a glass of water because it wasn’t enough glasses. Also we were only given 2 wash clothes the whole 4 days we stayed. The jacuzzi pool downstairs was filthy. I never seen them clean it. The staff also had a language barrier so I was unable to explain my needs.Would I stay again? Possibly, if there was nothing else available.

The place needs a good deep cleaning and the rooms need to be revamped. Everything looks a bit rundown the rugs need to be shampoo desperately and the place is just giving a very rickety feel.     This property needs to be renovated there is a mildew smell in the down stairs two bedrooms. The staff texted every morning asking if the room needed to be clean no one never came.     Right above a busy bar. Window had been broken and the broken pieces were held in with packing tape.     Metropole was recommended by a family member. Staff was accommodating and very responsive. Nice central location. The place is not luxury and was very much over priced due to big festival at South Beach. It was ok - but I was disappointed that there was no breakfast….just coffee. Be careful turning on the water in the bathroom sink…you or the floor will get wet. Sister hotel was a long walk for happy hour but it was so worth it! We went back three times to Maxs Bistro because the food and service were excellent. Overall would not return but that doesn’t mean it’s bad, I just need better for the price.

    The Kitchenette having a bathroom sink above the counter was nonsensical and the wood floor had some areas of gap which could easily cut your foot! Service was good otherwise !

    The room was very nice and spacious we had a 2 bedroom suit for our family of 6 and everyone was able to be comfortable. They also offered a mini bar and snacks if u wanted to purchase any of that. The staff was also really nice.

    Be aware, they are charging for mini bar even if you did not use it. I would never stay here again. Suggesting to all guests, if you end up staying here - take a picture of the mini bar once you checked it and before check out.

    Perfectly located hotel in the middle of South Beach. It has seen better days, room was not as clean as I would have liked and for what I paid. $20/hr for early check in. Parking lot across the street decently priced. Hotel provides beach towels, beach writhing walking distance. Hotel does not offer luggage storage before or after your stay. WiFi very cliche. Over all a great hotel mainly for its location. They offer a free drink every day of your stay at a local bar.

    Upon check in the first room smelled awful and was unkempt. There were piles of what appeared to be bug larvae in numerous spots in the room. The shower did not function properly and it looked like a toddler painted the entire room. The AC dripped from the ceiling and the elevator barely fit an adult and luggage. There is no parking and when I left and came back to the hotel where I was told to park was full and there was no solution. I ended parking 6 blocks away and received a parking violation.

    My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and the staff was so polite and attentive. The room was super clean and cute loved that it had a kitchen for us to use. They even accommodated our super late check in due to flight delays. We will definitely stay again.

    The property is decent. Close to the beach. I appreciate the kitchen to save money. My issues are small but my remote didn’t work, my room key kept demagnetizing, the shower is nice but the water leaks into the floor as it’s a standup shower. Outside of those things it was cool. Staff are very nice and helpful. I’d stay again.

    STAFF ARE SO NICE, BUT THE ROOM WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE, BATHROOMS HAS NO VENTILATION FANS, AND THERE'S NO MOVABLE SHOWER HEAD TO CLEAN YOUR SELF WELL, AC is too loud, floors are pretty old and not aligned, however kitchen appliances are in good shape. External door and bath door looks pretty old, under the bed was so dirty. But the houskeeping and reception staff are so nice and lovely. Hotel is getting old.

    It was nice at first glance. The design and set up was glorious from the hallway to the suite; also the shower had great hot water. On the other hand; one of the smart tvs was not connected to the internet as a result I couldn’t cast. Also there was a mini fridge instead of a full standard fridge that was advised. Also a dead roach appeared at the door on the second day. Also the bed was never made during house keeping time only towels dropped off.

    Room was clean and very cute. Staff was nice. Previous reviews talked about early check in and being able to leave your luggage, this is false. I received an email from the hotel the day before check in saying 20$ an hour for early check in, when i got there front desk said they could check us in around 12-1, i asked to leave our bags and was told we dont have space to hold bags and recommended a place called luggae lounge 2 blocks away, asked if they have a restroom for guests, nope had to use the restroom at fat tuesday which was questionable imo not sure when the last time it was cleaned. Anyways, Luggage lounge charged us 22$ to hold our bags until check in. In the mean time we went to eat and to the beach for a bit came back to hotel around 1245. No one was at the desk for at least 45 minutes no one to answer the phone. Finally checked in around 2pm. Front desk said she gave a streetside view room for being so patient. Whatever you do dont take the street side view its loud at night time and our room 207 was right about fat tuesday the restaurant downstairs so youll be hearing their music all night. Over all i like the location its like a block from the beach and many restaurants nearby. Again room was clean no problems there.

    Filthy and smelly, face broke out really bad just from being there. Bathroom shower had hair don’t even think it was cleaned at all, toilet was dirty as well. Room smells like death. Pool look like a pond for fish but Staff was really nice !!!!

    Not good for family since there is noise until 11:30pm plus people smoking inside and around the hotel. The sofa bed was dirty when we try to used it it was yellow stuff. The last day of our stay they send us a message welcome and asking us if we need anything to let them know.

    The property is really cute it's nice it's near the water and it's well kept and very nice small boutique hotel. What I don't like is the surprise fees that they hit you with sometimes when you arrive and on the app when you're booking it makes it more difficult to find what you're looking for and in the end you feel like you've been tricked

    Booked a suite with two bedrooms and received a one bedroom with two queen beds. Hotel management did not want to reconcile and blamed the booking process through expedia. Did not eat to issue a refund for the difference of the room stayed in vs the room that was paid for.

    I rented a suite for two days. Shower never worked properly they had maintenance fix it with wrong shower handle on the fly water barley dripped out. Tvs did not work at all lines through them. Ac worked but barely. Everything is beat up in the unit scraped my foot on the flooring that is comming lose in the bedroom. Things may look nice in pictures it is not. We hsd room 415. But we should of definitely stayed at a different property for the price that we paid 1300 for two nights. The fat Tuesdays thst is attached to the hotel the staff is rude and disrespectful im not a local i came for a cruise and stayed to visit your beautiful city but probably will never come back as every where i went i was treated bad because they think im here for spring break.

    The receptionist Hyna was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. The staff overall were great. The location was perfect. Close to beach and shopping. Yes the bed heads were old and peeling if you care about such things. The two bedroom units were perfect for us. We would definitely stay there again
