No es grande el hotel pero tiene un ambiente trankilo y la atención es excelente tiene solo 7 pisos la playa se ve de lejos no estan como está en las foto pero si se pasa relajado si lo quieres para eso

Overall I had a great experience at the Setai. The property and staff were very good. The only thing I would say is that for the price, i dont see it as completely worth it. That being said, if you are looking to ball out, this is the best hotel on south beach

Low flow toilet clogs; window was extremely cheap, dirty, and out of place; beauty mirror didn't collapse flat, tv faced couch so to face bed you pull it out then walk into it at night; shower door bottom too low drags bath mat; safe mat didn't fit safe; not enough plugs by the door; jackhammer in the morning by the window; and service light button broken.

There are constructions from BOTH sides of the hotel, very loud during the daytime, impossible to stay near the pool even with soundproof headphones 2. A cleaning lady broke my expensive serum in the bathroom and a razor. We reported it to the reception, they said they they “will check and apologise” but nothing happened after that 3. Another cleaning crew put my Dyson in the drawer (I never do that) so I forgot it. And when I ask them to deliver it to my friend who is 30 min away from the hotel - they rejected and said that they can only send it with fedex. So I’m without my only one dryer now. 4. When you need to go to the pool area - you need to pass a restaurant, literally through the tables where people are dining. It’s not comfortable because you can’t just wear a bathrobe and go to the pool.

The Setai Hotel is one of the best hotels on South Beach and we go there repeatedly. It has a top staff that is still the same at least in the 8 years that we have been going there, which is always proof that the hotel is well managed and has a low staff turnover. The Setai has great breakfasts and room service and service on the beach. In the years that we have been going to the Setai, however, everything has remained the same, including the rooms, which already seem very outdated and worn out. If it should remain like this, we will choose another hotel for our next visits.

Breakfast is always spot on. We always have Anny and her sister for years wait on us. Few times omlettes undercooked because cook in hurry 1) Toilet always ran, mentioned front desk, still not fixed 2) Call Valet with room # …. Gentleman asked what i neeeded. I said is this valet or kitchen?? 3) House keeping sent (2) pillows wet in middle?? Of course 11:30 at night before replaced 4) Dinner and show, Servers new for sure. Could not keep water in glasses i ate there one in facility never again 5) always construction or crap next door. Reall pay $3000 a night to listen to jack hammers at 8:00 am. Used to get letter stating or apologize. Nothing now. Management is lazy at this place. 6)Busy signal for front desk after 9:00 pm 7) Request reservation for Jaya and get Jarpon instead. Easy stuff can’t get right 8)

Clean room and nice staff

The welcome was exceptional. The desk clerk showed us to the room and she gave us a real life tour....awesome plus she gave my fiance a personal birthday welcome from Setai...the bell hops were courteous and welcoming. The ROOM WAS SPOTLESS and I loved the partial ocean view. Breakfast had a wide variety. Housekeeping, front desk and the floor manager were warm and responsive to any issue. They had a birthday champagne welcome for my fiance in the room and also at breakfast. They suggested Casa Tua for the birthday dinner and made a reservation for me...I would go back RIGHT NOW!!! Just a few things if I want to be hypercritical and to nitpick 1. There were a few small flies in the buffet area- which is hard to control because its food which attracts flies 2. Walking through the restaurant area to get to the beach/spa/gym esp on the Sunday - I felt cute since other attendees were well-dressed for Sunday brunch. I wasn't too sure how to navigate those areas without going way outside the hotel 3. The necessary nearby construction- sounds of drills were heard in the breakfast hall, but earplugs were available at the pool to block this out if you were chilling at the pool

The welcome is really good, we asked for some things before we arrived and Cesar and Daisy in the concierge desk were outstanding.

Staffing is extremely great and makes the hotel feel comfortable.

The staff and service is next to none; they are fantastic and make the experience. The construction noise around the pool area is extremely annoying and is the antithesis of relaxing. The hotel should notify people about this before they book. It would be nice if the restaurant area was a bit more upscale and less loud and tacky...

The staff was absolutely the best. Our room was cleaned and bed was made every time we left the room.

Been here twice so far and I had a lot of fun both times and the food was great.

They eventually moved me and sent up a cheese board as a gesture, which I appreciated. However, compared to my experience at W Miami—where I was upgraded and received thoughtful service after a minor inconvenience—this stay fell far short. The staff, with the exception of the bellhops and pool service team, were mediocre at best. The hosts at Jaya were actually quite rude, and to top it off, the A/C in Japon was broken and leaked water on me during dinner. This just wasn’t the level of service or experience I’d expect from a supposed luxury property.

Just exceptional service

Fantastic hotel, wonderful staff, one of the best places I have stayed. We stayed 10 nights in one of their cheaper rooms overlooking the city- room was fab and we were treated exceptionally well! Gym a bit small, breakfast ok- try the Betsy for breakfast!

This was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious. Close to many shops and fine restaurants the location is so walkable. They have a few lovely restaurants on site. The pool was nice. Beach access. Staff was friendly and attentive. Happy with the choice to stay here, would definitely recommend.

Mrs Aslı at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to her, we had a really nice vacation. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was also friendly.

This property goes above and beyond, with great service and amenities. If the bar is Four Seasons or Ritz, this property is honestly better. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time in Miami.

Property is excellent, however I did not expect a construction project at the lobby during my stay at the hotel. I am allergic to dust and dust were everywhere every time you walked by the lobby. They should let the customer know about this construction happening during the week.

The Setai is a first class hotel with an incredible staff - attentive, helpful and appropriate. The facilities are well cared for and inviting. The rooms are spacious and pampering. The only concern was the construction happening on the adjacent property - which was disruptingly noisy. It ruined much needed quiet pool time. Guest should be given advance notice of this to plan accordingly.

We had a beautiful ocean front suite and could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. The concierge, drivers, front desk associates, host/hostesses, servers, pool servers, and entrance staff are truly wonderful!

They never disappoint. I love this hotel.

My go to spot for travel in the area. I have a great with or without the family.

I had an excellent stay at the Setai!! The location is outstanding walking distance from the center of all the action in South Beach. In addition the hotel itself is top notch! The exceptional service from all of the hotel staff is truly amazing. I highly recommend this property if you are staying in South Beach.

First class five star service. Restaurants are really nice. This place is well managed; the staff is on point with service.

The service at this hotel is amazing and property is gorgeous. Very much a luxury hotel so expect lots of Prada & so on. Bar and restaurant is very much a happening scene so bring Miami appropriate attire.

The property is the perfect balance of peaceful and fun. Naomi helped me with my room and she was so wonderful! Borris was very kind as well, they both treated me like VIP! Bunga is the example of great customer service and made my experience that much better! Manny was also great on be beach, which I highly recommend enjoying! These were just a few honorary mentions but, the entire staff was amazing! The hotel was very clean, the breakfast buffet on Sunday was delicious! The restaurants and the food by the pool/beach all 10/10! I didn’t get to enjoy the spa this time but, I will definitely be back!

Best 5 star hotel in South Beach.

Beautiful setting and resort - suite style accommodations with full kitchen and washer / dryer. ONLY negative is the furniture in the living dining area was NOT COMFORTABLE to sit and visit with family (one of the main reasons we booked the suite). Couch and chairs had odd backs that were not comfortable for any size person to sit very long.

Horrible guest experience. No one assisted my bags upon arrival. Had to carry them myself. Room upgrade was not available. Even the website shows 2 suites available. I got double at valet.

Best Hotel i have stay in all Florida!!

There are no real drawbacks to staying at the Setai. If you can afford it, it’s a great hotel and would be a wonderful booking for a couple looking to relax and enjoy South Beach. The service is top tier, so make sure to tip.

The staff is outstanding on all levels from the front desk, bar, valet, wait staff etc. The Setai was a shining gem 20 years ago and is badly in need of a major renovation. The once 5 star property is about a 4+ now.The staff makes the property better than it actually is. The pool area needs to be further separated with adults only and a kids side far away.

Great service from the moment I stepped out of my car in the valet the attention to detail was amazing we celebrated my wife’s birthday and they went over the top to make it special for us it was VIP service all the way till the end.

A fantastic place for an escape even with family

Additionally, the fire alarm testing that occurred today was poorly communicated to the guests and was also very disturbing. While I understand the necessity of these tests, the execution should have been handled better. Victoria, the Director of Front Office, showed a complete lack of empathy and provided inadequate service recovery by merely offering a free late check-out. What was worse was her arrogance and lack of care. I strongly urge the ownership to reconsider their on property leaders, as this level of service is far from satisfactory. With many other options available in the area, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Well, the room that I want it was a city view but I got a courtyard with just the route rooftop idea prefer looking out the windows at some sites and not just the rooftop overall the room was nice but I didn’t have a bathtub and I want to relax after a long trip in a tub soaking. My family always stay there was Latisha Flanigan in the residential suites she told me how she enjoy staying!

Every bit of this classy hotel is perfect. You are treated like royalty. Staff remembers your name. Its the kind of place you go back to.

We love the Setai and it’s the only place we will stay at while in Miami. The staff is great, the pools are tranquil and the beach is right there.

Stay was amazing. They service your room in the afternoon and evening every day. The chairs at the pool and the beach are free and really comfortable. Free waters and sunscreen as well. The master of time signature spa treatment at Valmont spa was amazing. Convenient location. Staff is super nice. The weight room was really nice and had free weights including bench press and also machine weights as well. Treadmills as well. Jaya has some cool shows in the evening during dinner. Ocean Grill restaurant has really nice views of the Ocean and beach.

Beautiful property! Everything about this place is 5 star! The rooms are beautiful and contemporary. You don’t hear your neighbors. The bathroom lightening is a little dim that was the only con. The beach and pool were amazing. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend.

Great ambiance in the hotel dining area and a beautiful beach front restaurant. The three pools with different water temperatures are quite unique and the suite was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Nothing was missing. Beautiful hotel with the nicest and most helpful personnel.

If you stay on a Friday or Saturday night know that they have very loud performances going on in their open air dining area that most of the rooms face that goes until about 12pm and the windows do not block any of the noise. We were on the 7th floor and couldn’t sleep at all until it was done
