Beautiful property and the staff made u feel like u like u a vip as u came in! Gorgeous pool and beach access. ⛱️ wonderful walking/bike path and in a safe area. Convenient casual restaurant's near by and great restaurant on site and pool bar. You definitely get a Miami vibe and feel at this location 😃!

The staff was super nice, friendly, and helpful. The bar had great options and the pool was amazing for the whole family. Even my little ones.

I have been traveling to Miami different times of the year for the last 10 years and this is my favorite resort overall. The rooms are pretty the pool and pool. Staff are so nice. I love that. It’s beachfront and you just walk out to the beach. Check all the boxes for me.

All of the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. I am a walking paraplegic that uses assistive devices, and I never once felt like I was not going to be able to do something. There is a lift to get into the pool, and they offer wheelchairs to use on the beach. If you’re ever worried about vacation because of a disability, I cannot recommend this place enough.

This was a great stay. Everything was absolutely perfect. The property is pristine with many unique touches such as gelato by the pool towel area. The pool is sparkling clean and well maintained. Among unique touches are a small sink that is integrated with the toilet lid which is totally unique! Another nice touch is that the ice machine for the rooms has a water dispenser which is a great plus. We had their buffet breakfast and the omelette chef was super nice and made us the two nicest Anniversary omelettes ever! We will definitely go back!

Our room had the worst view, it was supposed to be city view. Our view faced an ally, the bathroom was horrible, it was too small. Also the AC made loud noises and my husband couldn’t sleep, which made him have an attitude all day. Overall it was ok and don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Location was perfect. Gym size (low ceilings, hitting people while working out), size of the room (closet sized for the price which was relatively high), inexperienced staff (younger lady at the hostess stand for breakfast was chatting to the bartender instead of serving the line of guests that were waiting to sit down for breakfast and then she was on her phone).

The decor was a vibe. Breakfast options were plentiful. The room was clean, and the bed/pillows were comfortable. I loved being able to walk straight out to the beach and relaxing by the pool. The greenery created a relaxing experience.

It's a beautiful hotel and property. We're coming back next year.

We enjoyed our stay; the rooms were clean and love the separate toilet and shower rooms. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Loved the beach, just wish the seaweed was not so heavily around us - which is not the hotels fault. We would definitely do another family vacation here. My grand nephew had a blast for his first visit to Florida sand and water.

The food was also excellent. I highly recommend the risotto from the restaurant, ceviche, and a piña colada from the bar—they were all delicious and definitely highlights of our stay. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include breakfast with the stay. Other than that, everything was great, and we would happily return in the future. Ps there’s also a surprise room charge of 50 a night but still worth it!

Wonderful Miami Beach front hotel. Cool vibe and lovely room. Convenient location, lots of friendly staff. We were able to access our room early which was amazing. The beach access was ideal with free umbrellas and beds. We only ate pool side lunch, it was delicious; tacos and flatbreads with cocktails.

The Palms is for relaxation! I didn't really like how the bathroom was set up with the toilet being on one side of the room and the shower on the other.

The outside pool area has nice landscaping, the location is not bad although it is not in walking distance to most good dining or shopping. The staff at the front desk was exceptionally rude, most of them appeared to be in training and this hotel really does not care about retaining customers. Overall there are a lot better options in South Beach to stay for the same rate where the amenities and staff are much better. They claim to be a spa hotel but it is furthest from the truth- the pool does not have jacuzzi area, spa is not included in the stay and they only have a steam room. Upon check in our room was not clean, the toilet had feces on it. Once you check out if you are using the amenities they don’t have a shower or locker room for you. Use your money else where.

Asked for a later 1 o’clock checkout but according to reception only for a 75 $ fee. After staying 12 nights and spending around 8000 $ in total ( which I told at the reception desk) I thought that was not very flexible. Of course I understand company policy but my next 12 day stay in 3 months will probably be somewhere else.

This hotel was classy without being snobby. Classic design with all the modern amenities that anyone would want. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. We were treated like royalty without asking. Everyone we came in contact with, whether staff or fellow travelers, seemed delighted to be there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we can afford it.

Lovely hotel right on Miami Beach with gated access to the beach and boardwalk. Would have liked a larger room and especially bathroom for the price. Beware that the restaurant and all bars automatically add a 20% service charge on everything.

It took 45 minutes to check in. Each day we ate at the pool our food took 1.5 hours. No one cared.

The spa has limited facilities and not open to guests of the hotel during weekends. Guests who book through Expedia get rooms that are not the best often next to elevators. During the weekends the pool area has many families with young children making the area quite noisy. It’s best to book there for the weekdays.

My friends and I loved this hotel!! The employees were extremely helpful and courteous. We were well taken care of from the minute we arrived. The interior is beautiful and the exterior pool and beachfront were equally as great. We can’t wait to stay here again.

There is an extra room charge of $48 per day by the hotel, this is not covered by the Expedia payment. Additionally the front desk staff often give Expedia customers the worst rooms by the elevators. Charges for food and services are extremely expensive and quickly add up so be careful using them. The spa is not available to guests on weekends so be mindful of that. The Spa is small and has limited amenities and services. The hotel on the weekends is crowded often full of kids in the pool and weddings, so it’s probably if you want a peaceful stay book during the week.

Beach and pool

The only minor issue was our interaction with a young lady at the front desk (a Cuban woman whose name I do not recall). She appeared quite unhappy and rather grumpy during both this visit and our previous stay last year, and her demeanor felt noticeably impolite. Aside from that one instance, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning.

Absolutely amazing hotel. This is our third stay there at the hotel and each stay was great. The hotel has a boutique filling, very superior, clean with a friendly staff. It has a beautiful beach and a nice pool. We loved it and definitely will be back.

Some of the staff seemed that they didnt want to be there. Had to cut our stay short and after making flught arrangements, we checked out 40 min after check out time and they did not refund us for that night that we didnt stay. They had plenty of time to clean the room and sell it for that night.

Property is well maintained and the rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel has great facilities pool, spa and access to the beach. We will come back for a longer stay soon

A special shoutout to Mike and the beach staff—they were incredibly helpful, professional, and clearly very good at what they do. The pool area was also a highlight and a great place to relax. The only recommendation I’d suggest is increasing the number of chairs at the pool. Availability was pretty limited unless you got there early, and it did lead to some frustration among guests. Overall, a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely consider coming back if we are in the area again!

Wonderful experience! The area of the property between the hotel and the beach is highly unusual for a beach property... extremely tropical. Really takes your mind to a different place! They included the chairs/umbrella/towel on the beach at no extra charge, which was a nice touch. And totally enjoyed the pool area as well. The food was wonderful (both breakfast and dinner). Very tropical view from the restaurant also. Absolutely loved this place!

The Palms employs a very friendly and engaging and pleasant staff. Well-managed front desk and property, always prompt service and supremely professional. The slightly elevated price of the room and $48 daily resort fee are well worth it because that’s exactly what the experience is—elevated. This my family m’s second spring break at The Palms and we already want to come back. BIG BONUS: The weather wasn’t great (68/misty/overcast/slight wind), but it was just good enough, along with the HEATED POOL to give us a solid late-afternoon swim session for the whole family. The pool added so much value to our experience. And let me give credit that the chairs are heavy duty premium loungers that you can’t move too easily. There’s like a 5-inch thick lounge pad, that a man attendant sheathes into a soft premium towel, then they provide a large premium pool towel for drying off. It’s those little details that set it apart.

Check-in and Check-out seriously under-staffed, it took 20 minutes just to get to the front of the queue both for check-in and Check-out. Having 1 person only at 08:30am is crazy in a hotel this size. It seems obvious the management are either cost saving or unable to hire. Either way the staffing levels of the front desk are completely unacceptable.

My room was unique and only two of them on the property. It would have been nice to know this so I could understand why it would take so long for it to come available. The room wasn’t ready on the time they specified either. Had I known that I could have planned some activity while I waited.

The mature tropical gardens surrounding the pool are just beautiful. It’s an excellent pool area. The staff there is incredible and the beach set up is great. We had a view of the ocean through the trees a little bit, The lobby smelled terrible like some very strong floor cleaning fluid and my room had a smell of dank, moldy sour beach side stale moist air.

Beautiful and clean place, situated well at Miami mid beach

The hotel is beautiful. There is valet parking and a fifty dollar a night fee and a resort fee as well. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond. The beach was awesome with loungers and umbrellas. The pool is amazing too. There is a walkway that runs along the beach that goes for miles. Many walkable restaurants nearby. A beautiful resort made for relaxation!

Give me the room wrong twice even with someone already occupying it- only one elevator working didn’t help either

Great hotel. Great location for a family of 10 including grandparents. Very accessible to beach and the main strip. Access to the boardwalk was perfect for morning walks and access to the restaurants and stores. Hotel size was perfect. Not too big and clean.

Service is a 10 out of 10. The facilities are clean and well kept, gym is great. Beach is amazing. Pool is fine but we didn’t use it that much, very accommodating to early check-in and late checkout. Food had a lot of options and was very good from the restaurant to the pool or Beachside restaurant. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quick getaway.

Elevators were not working properly the entire stay. Abnormally crowded pool. Small beds.

The restaurant was very expensive for the quality of food. The eggs Benedict was underwhelming as the English muffin was not very well cooked and lacked butter saturation. Overall presentation was underwhelming for $26. They do not serve lattes or espresso in the restaurant so they’re below average coffee is all they offer. A big disappointment. They said to order a to go coffee drink from the snack bar in the lobby and bring it to the table. Otherwise the room was nicely appointed with a separate toilet room and large walk-in shower with vanity in a separate room. Price paid was $295 including the $40 hotel fee for amenities.

The stay was fine, the room was either too hot or too cold. They did call someone to fix it and which they tried. But it was too hot and no way to make it cooler.

The rooms are spacious with excellent beds. Separate shower and toilet is a big win. The walls are thick, which means peace and quiet from neighboring rooms. You do hear the corridor a bit, but we had calm neighbors, so no drama. The AC works perfectly, and the blackout curtains actually black out — a small detail that matters a lot. Breakfast is solid but no longer a “wow.” They have everything you expect, but most of it feels bought in bulk and laid out nicely. The true breakfast hero is Peter from Jamaica 🇯🇲, who makes outstanding omelettes and single-handedly saves the morning. Pool and beach are great, exactly what you want on a Miami stay. The pool bar serves good food, and the tacos were surprisingly legit. The gym has all the essentials, but it’s on the small side. More than three people inside and you’re suddenly very aware of personal space. Elevators get a lot of complaints. In our case, one out of two was broken, but the waits were reasonable. No stair-induced panic. All in all, a great stay at a hotel with character, comfort, and charm. We liked it a lot — and yes, we’ll be back.

My second stay at the Palms. Rooms are OK, bathrooms small and a bit strange - the toilet is separate from the shower and wash basin. The pool area is pleasant enough, but after about 3pm (in winter) is shaded by the tall tower block next door. The hotel’s beach area is very nicely done - more attractive to my eye than the overly crowded beach at the (much more expensive) Faena Hotel next door. All in all, pretty good value for money for Miami Beach but the quality of the food was nothing like as good as it was when I stayed there a year ago. I was told that the previous chef had left…

An extra daily amenity fee of $50 was charged. Nobody informed us about this. Nothing about this hotel is good except for its location. The price mentioned here is only for the room itself.

Thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and genuinely delicious, not the forgettable hotel breakfast you rush through. And the barista coffee? Excellent. The kind you’d happily walk out of your way for, even if you weren’t staying on property. By the time I checked out, my only complaint was not booking an extra night. The Palms doesn’t just offer a place to sleep, it delivers an experience that feels curated, calm, and effortlessly well done. This is officially my go-to spot in Miami, and I’ll be back without hesitation.

I left within an hour of checking in. The room smelled musty or moldy. I was trying to inquire if they had room service. No one would answer the phone. Eventually dialing zero it would ring forever and eventually just hang up. When I went to the front desk to complain about it being one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in the woman at the front desk replied that she completely believed me and got the manager who did let us check out without charge and leave which I’m grateful for.

Excellent hotel in all aspects

I thought this hotel had a beautiful pool and beach area with great friendly service. The fitness center had great equipment oo. My room was clean, and modern, but the first room had a running toilet that didn't flush, but per my request they found another room for me, as I didn't want to wait for a repair man as that was already cutting into my peace in my stay.

The staff is amazing. The rooms appear very new/renovated/sleek. The beach/ lounges/staff is lovely. Food in the restaurant was excellent- prices felt on a higher end ( but i am not able to compare them with neighboring hotels). Location is obviously great. Spa is small but very accommodating. Overall, the greatest assets is staff who went above and beyond

The only downsides I can think of is that there is not hot tub and no complementary bicycles like other resorts.. but honestly those things are minor compared to all the benefits. I can’t overstate how phenomenally helpful the staff was. Bartenders, poolside service, beach attendants, front desk, concierge, bellhops… I could go on and on. A 10/10!

The best ever

My only real complaint and regret was that the bathrooms on the main lobby level where the restaurant was had been closed for renovations and it was a huge inconvenience to have to keep going up and down the stairs or wait on an elevator. There should be 2 bathrooms on that level but it was what it was. I did enjoy the food in the restaurant and the staff but I do wish the menu was more expensive with more food choices for the entree's!!

Great stay!

Room was nice and comfortable; the only issue is I think the toilets are quite low. The staff at the pool bar were wonderful! Andrea and Kathlem were extremely nice, knowledgeable and remembered our names! Impressive.

Staff was amazing!

I've never had such a clean toom in my life. Pool was nice also, and although a 25 minute walk to south beach... it was ni e to get some exercise each night. Its a quieter part of Miami Beach where the hotel was located. The housekeeper that we had was excellent. She did an amazing job. Our floor was 10th, which was perfect.

We have been staying here since my daughter was small. Now she’s 27 and we are back. Had an amazing time as always. Rooms immaculate and a wonderful client experience. Especially the lovely lady from Haiti at the beach towel bar. We will be back!

Loved this property, the ocean view from the room was amazing and we had private beach access and the pool and decor of the hotel was amazing and the staff was really good as well. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in Miami.

After reading Miami horror stories online I was extremely nervous to book a hotel. I have stayed at the Edan Rock in north beach and it is stunning, we wanted edan rock beauty for reasonable prices. This hotel was PERFECT! Staff was super friendly and kind, our room was beautiful but most of all the bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock! We had lunch and drinks at their restaurant on site and their cocktail of the drink was $10 and delicious! Food was good and it was much better prices at eat at our hotel than on south beach. The hotel has personal beach access. We wanted bikes and went down to south beach. It was only about 15 min or less bike ride! Cruising the beach with the sun shining is the perfect relaxing afternoon. Our hotel was clean, quite, friendly, beautiful lobby, 15 min no traffic to the airport as well. We will definitely be back for our next stay.

A good one hotel

We stayed in room 320 for five nights. On the second night, at 10:00 PM, a renovation crew began heavy demolition work directly beneath our room in the lobby area. The drilling and construction noise continued until 4:00 AM, making it impossible for my family to rest. Despite multiple complaints, the night manager was uncooperative, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. The renovation continued again the following night, causing additional disruption. The next morning, the hotel’s internal manager acknowledged the issue, offered a complimentary breakfast as compensation, and provided written confirmation that one night of our stay plus the service fee would be refunded. However, on the last night of our stay, the hotel rented the event hall directly under our room for a wedding party with loud music late into the night. Once again, we were unable to sleep due to excessive noise. In total, three out of five nights of our stay were severely disrupted, and the hotel failed to provide a quiet and comfortable environment, which is a basic expectation when booking a hotel at this price level. Great location and enthusiastic bag/valet service. Front desk could be a little friendlier. The shower in my room was set up so you almost have to get wet right when you turn it on.

This was the second year out conference was in Miami and the second year I stayed at the Palms. My room this time was just okay. I had a street side room and was on an interior corner so my window was adjacent to a wall of windows for other rooms. There was no privacy unless I kept my curtains pulled. The meals were outstanding.

Ocean view room was incredible. More of an adult only vibe. Incredible value. Will be staying here again next trip.

My sisters and I stayed here to celebrate a milestone birthday! We were completely blown away with the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff! It was so refreshing to expereince. The hotel is very well located to get anywhere you want to go. Our room was spotless and well appointed. Loved the seperate washroom and shower room. We will absolutely come back again and again!

This is the second time I stay on this hotel, I love the good service, the kindness of the staff, the good food, all of its facilities, the location since you can walk to different places!

Check in was painful. Paid for city view. View out our window was a wall with construction netting on it. Think our room was below ice maker on floor above. No parking. Forced to pay $50.00 per day for valet.

This was a beautiful hotel and spa with beach access… wish we could have stayed in the area longer so we could have seen more of Miami Beach but we were just there for the night and didn’t leave the hotel property and still had a great time… the restaurant and bars were a little pricey but we were well taken care of and enjoyed our dinning experiences…

The building needs a remodel and the elevators didn’t work for several days. Other than that, everything was five star.

We love the service, the lounge was first come first serve and they could hold only for 30min, also was very rare that they give you lounge covers and towels not 1 per person but as many as you want and you can change during the day. Definitely we would like to visit again.

Excellent service. Staff were all very helpful. Beautiful hotel and grounds. The pool area and beach were great. Did not dine at the hotel, so cannot rate that. The only negative was that the only elevators servicing 9th and higher floors were out of operation during much of our stay. This necessitated walking down the stairs to the 8th floor to catch an elevator.

We lived our stay ! The room was very nice. Most of all the resort itself was beautiful! It was nice to be in mid-beach out of the crazy of South beach. The restaurants were fantastic! We had some really fantastic food and drinks . Can’t wait to return.

Great hotel.

The hotel and the staff were very nice. The pool was beautiful, convenient location, but the main elevator did not work the entire time and would not start even when putting in your key card, we told staff several times and they just laughed like they weren’t listening or didn’t understand us and at one point the doors closed on me while I was trying to get in. Also they put us in a room facing a major construction project so the view was horrible and definitely not a pretty scene outside our window and the noise was bad.

The best hotel and spa

This is our fourth time staying at the Palms Resort. We have nothing but great feedback for the staff and fellow guests. The beach is immaculate. The pool is convenient and clean. The amenities are top notch and the Concierge is chef's kiss. We will definitely stay at the Palms the next time we are in Miami. We plug it as our "staycation" in Miami.

Parking fees are excessive $50 per day

These are basic things that should be in working order in any hotel room. I expected better maintenance and service. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made. The hotels staff was not really empathetic. Their pathetic excuses and efforts to “make this right was 2 of 5 resort fees comped, breakfast and a plate of fruit. Worst decision picking this hotel for my honeymoon….

Nice, clean room, ocean view, great staff, great breakfasts. Room systems worked well. Elevators were troublesome but apparently being repaired.

The hotel was way more than expected. The amenities were fantastic between the pool and the beach area. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We were just here for one night before our cruise left and I wish we had more than one night, we had a great stay and will definitely return to the Palms if we’re down in Miami again.

The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. The tiki bar had absolutely delicious food and beverages—definitely a highlight! The pool area was beautiful, and the heated pool was perfect for relaxing and swimming. I also felt very safe on the property, which was a big plus when traveling with family. Our room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. I loved everything about it! The only small suggestion I would make is to add a microwave in the rooms. Our refrigerator wasn’t working at first, but the staff quickly replaced it with another one, which I appreciated. Traveling with our 7-year-old, I found the resort to be very kid-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and really made us feel special. I would absolutely recommend The Palms and Spa and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Our stay was wonderful overall. The only reason I can’t give a full 5 stars is that the bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable and left both my wife and me with sore necks and backs.

My 2nd stay at the Palms and it was amazing! They were able to accommodate my husband and I after booking through Expedia and having a handicap accessible room accidentally we were able to be moved to a top floor room with a corner view of the city skyline. The first room view was terrible due to the construction being done in the area that’s all we seen! The tiki bar and the staff really helped us to enjoy our anniversary! The beach was clean and the pool and the smell was amazing every time we would get off the elevator! Can’t wait to come back!

The staff was amazing and very helpful and accommodating, it’s nice and quiet later at night and close enough to south beach but far enough away that you can get a good night sleep! Also very close to some great breakfast and brunch options and steps away from the beach! We also loved that the lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach come with your stay and you can have your food and drinks brought to you rather than walking back and forth from the tiki bar across the walkway👌

This was the best resort! Stunning with amazing staff! Maybe a mile or so to the strip on South Beach. The resort upgraded our city view room to an ocean view which was a wonderful surprise. We will be back!

This is a beautiful property with great ambience and guest staff who were very accommodating and pleasant. Our ocean view 11th floor room was beautiful. Bed was comfy pillows were a little lumpy but still good.The food choices are pricey, but very good. parking isn’t great but I think parking in Miami isn’t in general. The pool was beautiful and always pleasant with Lush greenery. An excellent property. I can’t wait to go back again.

Elegant, clean, quiet, nice people, nice pool and beach

The quality and services of this hotel are not on par with the price we paid. During the all stay only 1 out of 2 elevators worked. Food in the hotel’s restaurant was very expensive and of a good quality. In the area are very few standing alone restaurants, most of them located in other hotels, which is not convenient. Beach had a lot of collected seaweed and the smell coming out of it was awful. The water also was full of see weeds, so we didn’t use beach not a single time, stayed by the pool most of the time. Wouldn’t use this hotel in the future.

Had a great time, but issues with no hot water in the shower at times, the ice machines on my floor and the floor below did not work, and the elevator had issues.

This property is absolutely stunning. The service was exceptional from the bellmen at the very beginning to the front desk. Guerline was particularly very kind and very helpful. I particularly enjoyed the beachside yoga in the morning and the lovely walk from the property to the beach. I will certainly recommend this place for a beautiful stay.

Excellent hotel! Very friendly, welcoming, attentive staff. Very clean and has everything you need. Would also like to add that I am extremely thankful for the honest staff there as I left behind cash in the safe after checkout but was retrieved because of their honest employees who were so quick to help me find it. It's Ok. I was not impressed. It's expensive and I'm not sure if it was worth it. But nothing remarkable either way. I'm also not crazy about the additional daily charges. They're excessive. And not crazy about being charged for the in-room bev & snacks since we never took anything. So I may or may not come back. Not a bad hotel at all. Just not sure about the value.

The staff was friendly and the view from my room was jaw dropping. The $50 per day parking rate was a bit excessive in my opinion but overall an enjoyable stay.

The only thing that would prevent us from staying here again was the amount of seaweed in the water... we thought maybe it was the entire beach, but if you go further down South Beach, there is literally no seaweed at all, so we ended up spending several days at beach clubs further down the coast. If The Palms' beach had no seaweed, we wouldn't have ever needed to leave this property. We understand that's out of their control, though, but it's important to us to have clear water! That's why we travel to Miami! Amazing all around otherwise :)
