Very convenient location. Staff were super nice! Ever time I asked for something they were on it!

Valet parking was $40 a day, but being able to take the car in and out whenever we wanted made it completely worth it. Overall, such a smooth, enjoyable stay and we would definitely come back again!

This property needs upgrading a bit. I know it’s in historic area but still feels like it needs refreshing. It is small.

We actually moved from a different lodging location to the Kent hotel, and it didn't disappoint. Great location to restaurants and the beach. Within a comfortable walking distance to convention center where I attended an event. Of course, please use a rideshare service if taking a 20-to-30-minute walk is not your thing when visiting the Miami Convention Center.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was superb. We had two rooms. The guests in the other room felt there was an off smell in their bathroom.

I like the property was clean and a block from the Beach I didn’t like there was no microwave to warm your food especially by having a restaurant connected to the hotel you would think they would have some type of way for warming your food because of the restaurant or just in general. Microwave don’t have to be in room but in lobby would have been Great!!!!

Close to beach and restaurants The stairs at the entrance to the hotel have a high ledge that creates a tripping hazard. Upon my arrival, my foot caught on the ledge, causing me to fall. As a result, my knee was scraped and bleeding. What was especially disappointing was that the front desk employee showed no concern, did not offer assistance, and did not help me get up after the fall. I immediately reported the hazard to the front desk staff. I believe this condition poses a safety risk to guests and should be addressed to prevent someone else from being injured.

This was a descent priced hotel, that gave a nod to the 1930s Art Deco style. Rooms was small but efficient for a short stay. Close to the beach,maybe a minute walk,also tons of places to eat ,if you dont want what the attached Restaurant next door provides, which is really good. AC in the room worked well,and staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was not clean. Also, the bathroom clogged after we used it for the first time, so we didn't have the bathroom for one day until they moved us to a new room. The only good point of the hotel was its location. Other than that, it was not worth it to stay there.

We stayed one night on a busy Saturday, Memorial Day weekend. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us information about the drone show which was part of the Air and Sea show! Great location to night life and the beach! Wonderful stay!

Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, with super soft bathroom towels. Location right around the corner from the beach was great especially with beach towels provided upon request. Noise level was low in April. Beachwalk was perfect for early morning exercise. Elevator was out first two days, but staff helped get my luggage upstairs. Hot water went out due to gas line maintenance another day and had no warning but was quickly back up.

The rooms and beds were clean. But AC was very noisy all night kept me awake. If turned off room got too warm. Did have problems in 2 of the 4 rooms we booked with the toilets getting blocked . But informed Staff on booking out as only stayed 2 nights they said would sort it. Reception staff very helpful & Friendly. Restaurant was lovely but very expensive with drinks but was same all over Miami. But overall was a good hotel good price for 2 nights in Miami just few minutes away from Beach. Paid 40 dollars each night for Valet parking Public car parking charged 30 dollars for 5 hours.Would stay again.

The Kent has been my go to boutique hotel for the last 10 years when traveling to Miami. During our stay, the hospitality staff was great and the room service was as requested. Our biggest issue during this stay was that our water went out for about 45 minutes mid shower. The team addressed it as quickly as possible but it was still a bit of an inconvenience. Additionally, the water pressure was very low. Thank you to the team for your quick responses and the restaurant on the premises offers a discount for hotel customers. Definitely a great option for a quick stay.

The location was awesome, and the adjoining restaurant food was amazing & so were the staff. The air conditioning unit sounded like a jet plane taking off and kept me awake all night though it was too hot to turn the unit off. The shower needs some TLC both floor and shower head. Shower water was only lukewarm and hardly had any pressure.

The room was large and spacious, with comfortable beds. The staff at the reception were helpful. A very good location. I was very surprised by the extremely dirty bathroom. There was a large amount of hair in my sink. The shower was heavily infested with mold. When I recorded a video and sent it to the manager, I was astonished by his behavior—not a single word of apology, even though there was certainly plenty to apologize for.

The location is perfect! The lift was not working. The air conditioner was loud. The water pressure in the bath was very light. On saturday there was a party in the restaurant with loud music till 2am- we couldn’t sleep.

Location great, rooms small with 2 queen beds, no drawer space for clothes. Seems they really squeezed in the beds. Very loud music till 2AM. Did not expect this from a hotel away from the main beach road.

The only positive about the property is that it is at a very convenient location, near south beach. But it seemed overpriced considering very small room size, lack of basic amenities in room( No microwave, no coffee machine).

The location The elevator was broken during my stay so I had to get the bags up and down the stairs, the showers were not hot, the music from somewhere was so loud I could hear it over my sound machine.

The location is great, right in the middle of everything. It's not on the Ocean Drive, but we think that gives Kent hotel rooms a bit quieter surrounding for sleeping. The first room we got has a weird strong smell. The manager gave us a different room after we talked to the front desk. They handled the situation well. No coffee in the room. It would be great if they provide a writing desk for working remotely if needed.

Great Location and Nicely Renovated. The Room was Clean but a bit more attention to detail would definitely be appreciated in the cracks and crevices and wall scuffs. The beds were pretty firm and the room stayed at whatever temp you wanted it to be. The water was good most of the time, although one morning I took a cooler, room temperature shower, it wasn't freezing but cooler than I would have liked. The $8 breakfast was good for the price in the area. The Front Desk Staff was excellent. Traveled with a family of 3 and would stay again.

We loved staying at this Art Deco hotel. It is nice to have the restaurant next door, Rajika Lounge. Staff is friendly. They served reasonably priced breakfast and drinks, very nice ambiance. We recommend this hotel with all of its ambiance. Parking is $20 a day at a closeby garage

The location was great! Walking distance from the beach, cafes, restaurants, etc. Staff was very friendly. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs that plays loud music most of the night. The noise comes with the location, but if you are a light sleeper wouldn't recommend.

The location was great, price was appropriate and room was large and clean. Staff were nice and helpful. There was a problem with the air conditioning unit and they fixed it immediately. The bed was too hard for me, but that’s a personal preference. Also it would have been nice to include body lotion with the toiletries.

There's no pool. They offer beach towels. I didn't get time to try the bar or restaurant.

Beware found 3 roaches in my room.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Kent Hotel. The location and service were great. One small area for improvement would be the sound insulation—especially in the morning, noise levels were a bit higher than expected, which impacted our rest. With better soundproofing, the experience would be even better.

The room however had dirty floors, very musty smell, tons of dust caked on vents. The bathroom had a horrible sulfur/sewage smell that only grew worse with showering. It was so bad we had to keep that door closed.

The hotel itself was nice. I like the restaurant that is attached. However I did not like the fact that the hotel receptionist took a photo copy of my id and credit card. I travel a lot and no other hotels do this. The receptionist said they have to verify information. I made sure to black out some information on both my id and credit card. This policy they have raises concerns for identity theft.

The rooms were mediocre. The bed was comfortable and a nice tv, that was about it. I had to ask for housekeeping to come and sweep the floors in our room as they were filthy. I had to wipe the bathroom down upon entering. It just didn’t feel clean. Also I had to ask for them to change the pillowcases as there was stains on the back of the pillows. Once we got back later the room seemed cleaner but the pillowcases still had stains. Disgusting. Also I was pretty pissed the front desk didn’t mention they provided towels. We went and bought towels that were $50, could’ve saved money. Also no one mentioned there was a vending machine area behind the lobby. We were walking across the street buying expensive water. The air conditioner unit in the room only worked the first day, so the temperature was very warm. As I mentioned the tv was nice, but the remotes were super old and barely worked. The lounge restaurant next to the hotel is very nice and many places are walking distance from the hotel. Overall, I would not stay here again. I was very excited for my trip but the hotel experience made me very frustrated.

TV didn’t work, shower was cold, room was small, and the mattress was old and creaky every time I moved around. The property is dated and connected to a bar with VERY loud pounding music that goes on til well after 1AM (Tuesday night was the worst). A lot to give up for the location….

I chose this hotel because the reviews specifically praised its cleanliness. After driving nearly a full day, we arrived in Miami around 10:00 PM and checked in, only to find the dirtiest hotel room my family and I have ever experienced. Wes, the night manager, did everything he could to help. He provided us with clean sheets so we could replace the filthy ones ourselves and stay in the room instead of going back to the car and spending the night there. Aside from Wes’s outstanding effort, there is nothing I would recommend about this hotel. While Wes was trying to find clean sheets, I also attempted to contact Expedia, but customer service showed an estimated wait time of 45 minutes. I was traveling with two children, and they were left sleeping on chairs while we waited for the sheets to arrive. The reviews for this hotel are completely misleading, and Expedia’s customer service is inadequate when you actually need support. I have booked my hotels through Expedia for many years, but after this experience, that will likely have to change.

Great location and have a restaurant and bar right there, which is convenient. It’s an old hotel but they have updated it nicely. Our room had a large closet with refrigerator and safe in it which was great. Bathroom has no counter space but there is a little vanity area in the room to help fix that. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Hotel was a great location.There are plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance. These staff was very helpful with getting the car parked. I remember that our needs but the 2nd bed was like an air mattress , and it was a double , not a queen as advertised. The shower drain smelled like a sewer gas. The staff tried to help but it did not resolve the issue. We would be willing to try again this hotel again.

Place was tired. Bathroom was atrocious. Room 316 had mold all over. Fixtures rusted. Bleach smell in hallways made me dizzy. On the other hand the staff and guys at the front desk were amazing… get a face lift and I would return but until then…..

The staff is among the best in the Miami Beach area. The location is ideal. The hotel is good, not great. It likely is overdue for a renovation. Our room had lots of minor problems - bathroom doors that wouldn’t close, tap handles falling off, grout issues, etc. that could easily be resolved with some attention to detail.

Bathroom needs to be cleaned better and it stinks really bad. The hotel is located near lots of other things. There was a tall chainlink fence blocking access to the ocean so we weren’t able to walk there, it looked like they were installing temporary structures along the beach so not sure what they are doing there at the present time.

Great location. Modern looking room. Rain style shower. Friendly staff. Only complaint with isn't much is that we were over the kitchen so you could hear chopping and grinding in the early hours of the morning. Still 5 stars from me based on the experience.

The shower had nats flies in it flying around sure it has to come from the drain not being clean, needs an update rust everywhere, stains on the wall, mirror dirty! Wasn’t a comfortable stay. I wouldn’t book again

So we went onto do that. And also hotel had no parking. And after dinner we decided to call and cancel our hotel reservation. They said we would have to get refund from our booking company. So far they haven’t approved our request. In the end they refused and I refund our money.

Very well maintained boutique hotel. Great location. Breakfast in very cute cafeteria only $7.95 and includes mimosa!! Staff is very pleasant and very helpful. The one thing I would complain is the view from the room window is not existing. We there looking at the wall. But definitely recommend staying here!

Room kinda had a funky chlorine/ozone smell and was pretty small for four people. The front desk staff were great and very friendly. It’s too bad the hotel has to put up with the obnoxious restaurant that is adjacent as they play loud, booming techno music until midnight every night and our room was on that side of the hotel. No great for light sleepers.

Lot's of other restaurants around. Safe location. Smaller rooms as this is an older hotel, but it has been totally renovated. My family and I would stay here again.

Location location location…this hotel is right in the heart of South Beach. You have the boardwalk, beach, art deco hotels, and tons of restaurants all around. We were only supposed to stay one night for a layover, but due to illness with one family member, we ended up staying four nights during Christmas. Magnus, Anthony, Josh, Christopher at the front desk were amazing and so friendly and accommodating to our ever evolving needs. The room was very clean and I would return without hesitation.

Rooms are very pretty and perfect if you don’t like windows.

The room was clean. I will say, the hardware in the bathrooms and the vents could use some updating but overall it was a comfortable stay.

Josh was so willing to help and super friendly. This hotel has the cleanest and best towels and sheets. Beds were comfy. Rooms are small but the tv is large, so that makes it a wash I’d say! Music is pretty loud from next door. But hey, this is South Beach after all!

Great location. Good staff. We arrived late and they were very accommodating and also help us with a late check out even in busy season.

There was no heat. Sheets had stains on them. Shower floor was crusty. Rooms smelled like weed because the workers would go out back to smoke and they were right by the window. Also it’s very loud in that particular room. If you’re assigned room 107 ask to move immediately!

Pillows terrible, bed squeaky and not comfortable, shower not clean, and no vent in the bathroom which makes it a sauna. Makeshift vanity in the main room because the bathroom had no counter space. paint chipped throughout, and the room was tiny with a room looking out to the dumpsters in the alley. AC unit was loud, clunky, and basically has two settings: cold and hot. For the price, very disappointed.

Wes was wonderful at front desk. Breakfast was not free but great price and excellent. Room is good but on front of hotel. Good for seeing the action but the base speaker noise pumped till midnight from the restaurant on the side of the hotel.

The shuttle advertised at the front desk is not included and third party for those interested in using this hotel prior to cruising. Breakfast is not included in the hotel. There are many restaurants in the area however we had breakfast at the linked restaurant to the hotel as it was advertised 20% off for hotel guests. It was not honoured even when the server asked the manager. I would have considered eating at another restaurant however disappointed being misled.

The walls are paper thin! Be prepared to hear every detail of neighboring conversations, including families arguing directly above your room, as well as constant noise from foot traffic and talking in the hallways. Furthermore, the doors pose a significant safety risk and security hazard as they do not close completely. Finally, the actual rooms bear little resemblance to the advertised photographs.

Everything was so dirty. I could hear people in the next room. The guy was screaming in the hallway and hotel did nothing about it. He was cursing stuff and other people, to the point that was disturbing.

My room was not cleaned my entire stay. I asked for towels, small preferably and was told because he was the only person ar the desk i would have to use the towels from the night before. I told him i had already threw them in the hall way and he simply said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. The maid had not left any. The next day we saw the maid and

Excellent location on Collins Avenue.  You are right by Ocean Drive with restaurants and bars on your doorstep.  A charming Art Deco gem located in the heart of Miami Beach's vibrant South Beach neighbourhood.  I booked a Deluxe Double Queen room.  Huge, spacious room.  Very clean.  Staff were very friendly and pleasant.  Really helpful, they would always greet you.  As a solo female traveller, I felt safe here.  I didn't eat at the hotel but they have a restaurant and bar on site.  Good WIFI access throughout the property.  Housekeeping was done well each day.  Lovely boutique hotel.  Highly recommend.  I would stay here again if I came back to Miami.

However, I was somewhat disappointed by the level of noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms, which affected the overall comfort. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was not functioning, preventing access to television or streaming services. The property presents more as a modest accommodation, somewhat reminiscent of a motel 8 but slightly elevated. It would be suitable for a brief stay of one or two nights, but may not meet expectations for a longer visit.

Outdated elevator, poor housekeeping service, and short on towels/washcloths. No microwave or complimentary water as advertised. Restaurant food was bland and overpriced, and the lobby had mold on flowers and ceiling speakers. The bed had hair on the pillows Definitely would not stay here again.

I recommend the Kent Hotel when traveling to/through Miami Beach! The location is amazing and staff are awesome. Our room had a fridge and there is a computer/printer if you need to get some work done. The Kent Hotel accommodated us when we arrived a little early and they have luggage storage too.

Great location, Cristofer was excellent help upon check in. The room was clean and updated. My only complaint was it was loud! The room above us had heavy walkers and the garbage trucks came at very early hours.

The hotel rooms were very grubby and dirty in the rooms . grubby floors , big nail cutting on floor … gross, definitely not mopped , baseboards , bottoms of toilets hairs , shower walls not cleaned , Was given the option to move rooms and the other room was the same . Disappointed . Keep your shoes on in your room otherwise your feet will be black . Staff member

The hotel was great. The only thing I didn’t like is that the bathrooms have no fans and are very hot.

There was no coffee pot in the room, no exhaust in bath, bath is too small, restaurant is owned by a another company, there was no room service, asked for hot tea and we got tea bags and sugar they didn't have any milk. Very poor service.

Wes at the front desk was the bee’s knees. He gave us so many recommendations for the area and the restaurant next door had breakfast for a very decent price. I came in town for a cruise and would stay at this property again when I’m in the area.

The Kent Hotel is a very cozy and clean hotel. It has an excellent location as it is just a few minutes walk to the beach and night life. The room where we stayed in was comfortable and clean. It’s a great value for your money. Most importantly, the staff was friendly. Wes, at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and warm. When we asked if we could check in early, Wes made it happen. We will totally stay here again!

Very nice room with huge TV and comfortable bed. Air conditioning kept the room cool in the hot, Florida daytime. Great Balkan restaurant on site and super friendly staff at the front desk. Small but fun elevator with old style swinging door. Would definitely stay here again.

On your stay, the problem we encountered it was the size of the bathroom and the pressure of the shower.

Stayed 1 night. Was greated by lovely gentleman on front desk gave lots of information and the use of complimentary beach towels. Hotel room was clean but the bathroom was soo dark my child refused to go in alone. I would still stay again if in the area.

The vibe is very cool and the room was very clean and modern! The front desk took forever to check guests in and there was only one person working at a time. At 7:30am, the housekeeping staff began yelling orders at each other in the hallway, waking up nearly the entire floor. The location of the hotel is great for walking to all the fun.

I'm from Miami and I never stayed over night on South Beach in a hotel. So I really didn't have a clue about any hotels. I made reservation for Cleveland hotel where my friend made reservation. But I canceled and picked the best hotel Kent Hotel. The hotel is clean and fresh and the staff is excellent day and night. We can't wait to come back to Kent..

What is 5 star is the staff. They are very warm and welcoming and willing to assist in anyway. The area is great (better than ocean drive crowds). Collins Ave bars and restaurants are so much better (my opinion). So the location is great. The hotel itself was clean and updated with a convenient tiki bar and restaurant. These are all the great points. The "average" points are the size of the bathroom (very small) and bed was at best average (a little hard). There is NO table in King room. You get a vanity like table but the stool they give you doesn't match the height. Toilet is literally up against the shower and its a walk in shower with a curtain only so when you shower the entire floor gets wet, etc. The AC is a small unit on ceiling that even lowering at 61 at best felt like 73 or 74. I mean don't get me wrong, was somewhat comfortable but was looking for ice cold. That's about it. Overall great location, staff was nice.

Small boutique hotel, would like the rooms to be a tiny bit bigger, Also there was no hot water in the morning for me to shower.

The front desk staff was very attentive to our needs. The ladies in the morning of our stay were so kind to take care of my valet, so I didn’t miss my bus to Key West. Joshua was working when we returned to the hotel and was just incredible. He could see that we didn’t have the greatest day and we ended up with a bottle of champagne brought to our door by Josh. Thank you, Josh! And Wes is one of the best. Also, the next morning he was awesome getting us checked out answering our questions. I left my Kindle in our room and called Wes the next morning. He found it and is holding it for me. They are more than happy to mail it back to me. I will stay here every time I’m in the area.

A special shoutout to Josh and Wes for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. They really went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. Highly recommended!
