it is a great boutique hotel. Cute ,well-maintained, perfect location. The only complaint would be after spending a fair amount of money for one night, and enjoying a very pricey dinner at the prime 112 steakhouse, the luggage policy is much to be desired charging to have our luggage there while we go on a tour after checkout seemed pricey at $100.

Everything was great. I will definitely be going there again.

We had a very good time at this hotel. Best of it: the location and the great receptionist service. Aylen was very attentive to all the details, Reccomended us good places close to the hotel and we were very impressed with her attention to the details and great guest service. The hotel is small but well maintained and decorated with good taste. The only thing we didn’t like was the pillows that we found too big but maybe good for others. Thank you and we expect to repeat the visit soon !

Our room was clean, and efficient, with modern fixtures. I liked the view from the balcony with its table and chairs for morning coffee.

The coffee in the mornings was so nice. Beautiful rooftop and kind staff. The room is sexy though certain finishes make us think perhaps the hotel is slightly past its “prime”. Overall, excellent stay.

terrible experience

The room was absolutely disgusting - it hadn’t been cleaned, the sheets had hair + who knows what else on them. The floors were dirty, the drapes had serious stains, and pretty much all surfaces were unclean. Serious repairs were needed - the bathroom door wouldn’t close, the bed frame was missing parts at each corner, and the thermostat looked like it had been ripped apart. DO NOT STAY HERE

The staff was very helpful and attentive. House keeping kept the room very clean. The two people at the front desk were very helpful with answering questions and getting the car from valet. Having the option to valet took a lot of the stress away when it comes to parking. The bartender was very nice she made drinks quickly and was very polite. I wish there was more to do at the hotel it is so beautiful and I had a wonderful time. Definitely would come back and I will be recommending this hotel to others.

Beautiful room. Awesome shower. Nice layout. We weren't there long, but the room was just missing a comfortable chair. The complimentary coffee and fruit water in the lobby was very good. It was however a bit $$ to park our car overnight, which was a bit surprising.

Great location. Steps from the beach. 20 mins from cruise terminal if no traffic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and well appointed. We didn't use the pool or restaurant/bar, but they seemed lovely...we just didn't have the time. Bed was soooo comfy. Would stay again.

The room was in bad condition: the floor was heavily scratched, the only chair provided was visibly stained, and the furniture looked worn out. In the bathroom, the sink had visible damage and cracks, and the shower did not even have a door. Overall cleanliness was unacceptable, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the property, similar to sweat. I also felt unsafe during my stay. The room door only had a basic lock with no additional security, and the sliding door appeared to have tape holding the glass in place, which was very concerning. The hotel layout made things worse, as my room was on the first floor near what seemed to be an extension of the restaurant, making the hallway dark, unwelcoming, and uncomfortable—especially when accessing the elevator. Due to all of these issues, I decided not to stay. I returned the key to the front desk the same day and never spent the night. I also reported the situation to Expedia immediately. This experience was completely different from what was advertised, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Been at the prime since I’ve came to Miami four years ago and every year I stay here with my six-year-old daughter and she loves it! We love the prime! Great staff, great environment most importantly, great rooms! And the view Baby!!!!!!

The staff was extremely friendly. The property is so cozy and cute. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants were very close.

The staff was great, however, the property is rundown and not as represented online. The way to the elevators is thru the bar and storage area. It smelled funky throughout the hotel. The carpet was dirty and looks like it hasn't been painted in years.

Mold smell very bad

The hotel is very conveniently located at the southern end of Ocean Drive, within a 10 min walk of all the restaurants in the Art Deco area. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. They provide coffee on the first floor in the morning. Overall a great place to stay.

The staff, when we could locate them (not always manning the desk) were great. Especially the man who helped check us in. He was lovely. Hotel nice, but warning that it is loud until 2am or later. We were right àbove restaurant and noise from dishes, kitchen horrible until early morning. Otherwise, à Great hotel and location. It is very quiet in the morning though. So if you plan to be up late and sleep in. À good choice.

Hotel was far away from the strip. They charged me $100 upon check-in, then when I checked out they charged my card twice for $224 both times. They claimed one charge was a deposit and would go back to my card in a few days and the other charge was for a smoking fee. However, I never smoked in my hotel room. They are scammers!

We get to our room, and the key cards don’t work. Housekeeping let us in and we got our cards fixed when we headed out for the afternoon, again, no issue. Room was ok, smaller than expected from the pics I viewed online. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly! Would I stay here again? Maybe. Great location!

Loved my one night stay at Prime Hotel - the bed was incredibly comfortable, spacious bedroom & bathroom with a gorgeous touch of “welcome” cookies! Prime Hotel is set in a great location in relation to South Beach & good nearby restaurants. Would definitely stay again in Miami :)

Due to unprecedented weather conditions (cold) the staff provided a space heater which was quite helpful a much appreciated. Very helpful staff and great location for food, drinks and sun!

This is a boutique hotel, intimate and cute. Not a lot of ammenities and the restaurant / bar seemed closed, but with so many restaurants and bars in walking distance, it was not a issue.

Only thing I was disappointed in was that our room was not made up only half a job done which was an odd as we had the sign on the door and clearly she’d been in the room, but apart from that everything else was good. Having said that I would stay here again too nice location and neighbourhood.,

Location great. If you’re on a serious budget and just need to get away… Prime will do. If you’re use to roaches here and there… Prime will do. The front desk is tucked inside a restaurant which you will have No Access to your entire stay. If you get hungry Gotta go next door. Have fun and enjoy

There was a very strong sewer smell that took over the whole room whenever the water was running in the shower. Also, it was advertised as oceanfront, and it is on Ocean Dr., but not on the ocean side. It’s a block away, but we thought we would be able to walk out of the hotel onto the beach. Other than that, it’s a fairly nice boutique hotel.

We were looking for a sensibly priced hotel ion Ocean Drive for a one night stay before returning to the UK ater finishing a two week transatlantic cruise. We were astounded and delighted with the hotel and the staff. The room was large, immaculately clean and so well equipped. The staff could nt have been nmore helpful. Maybe being only 14 rooms allows them to focus more but this is a big plus for any prospective bookers.

Basic service of drinking water was not available even after offering to pay for extra water , I was told to come down to bar to fill the water bottle.

I had an amazing time at Prime. The staff went above and beyond . I’m a cat lover so across the street on the other balcony straight across there were cats hanging out it was so cute. The room was beautiful.

Enjoyed the hotel, overall was nice. Loved that it was always cleaned up! And welcomed me with a cute hand made note with chocolate chip cookies. I didn’t experience the pool, maybe next time

This property is cozy and intimate and very close to the beach and restaurants. My beau and I stayed for 5 days and did not encounter any children so our stay was quiet. The staff is friendly and work tirelessly to keep the property clean. The pool area and balcony is also pleasant and relaxing. I would only recommend steady bar hours. The bar was not open during our stay. I would certainly return.

The staff held my bags because I arrived hours before check in from a flight. They let me change and gave me towels for the beach. I enjoyed a lovely time on the beach before they called and said my room was ready early. Great customer service.

absoutely will be back! this is gem hotel in such a cool area. we really enjoyed our stay as well as them accomodating the fact that my partner doesnt take elevators. they had to keep unlocking the stair welll without issue

Great location right next to the beach. The staff were courteous and welcoming. Our flight arrived very early in the morning, and they kindly allowed us to check in two hours before the official check-in time. The complimentary homemade cookies in the room were delicious. Detox water and coffee were available in the lobby at all times. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel, and the atmosphere was very peaceful.

My fiancé and I came here to celebrate our upcoming wedding. The shower has no pressure and did not get hot. There was old left over shower gel in the shower from the previous guest. The hallway carpet is filthy. We had Do Not Disturb on our room and housekeeping came in anyways to clean. This property needs a major cosmetic renovation as well as staff. Very disappointed in our overall experience.

This property is extremely quiet and situated in a quiet area South Pointe. The roof top is amazing for sun bathing. The Prime restaurants are amazing and all walking distance!! Beach is close by. The bath

The room was nice, clean and spacious. Good value for your money. The man (I don't remember his name) that checked us in the first day was very nice and helpful. The 24 hr pool was nice at night. The lady at the front desk the 2nd and 3rd days wasn't very helpful and seemed annoyed that we had requested a soda. It would have been nice if the pool was cooled, it was way too hot during the day to enjoy.

Clean rooms, basic rooms with nice balconies. Loud neighborhood early in the morning. Very small pool area but nice. About 1.5 blocks to the beach so great location

Well situated for South Pointe stay south of Fifth .. friendly staff, nice modern room and hotel. Short walk walk to nicest part of beach and local cafes and restaurants. Quiet without the noise of the rest of Ocean Drive.

The property was decent. Pics online looked way better. There was seldom a person at the dront desk and when other employees would see myself and other guests at the empty desk, they said nothing to us to ensure someone would be right there. I also paid for a balcony which oversaw the alley.

The staff is just the worst i have ever experienced by travelling almost 6 times a month. Not a smile, not a hello, never repliying a polite hello, hi or any normal and polite sentence From the unexpected 450$ deposit, to the breakfast room, all staff were just changing the whole vibe. I cant believe its a management strategy I will also dig into my statements to check if i dont have any bad surprise after check out, like beverages or alcool taken from the room that i never touched Seriously guys : get yourself a smile, its free Management haves to fire a lot of people here Lets now hope they didnt took me money without my consent. Really tricky deposit, any other experience regardibg that is welcome To resume : get away from that one

Wonderfully surprised by this property! Just wanted a night to stay before a cruise. This hotel had great rates and was so close to everything! Easy walk to beach and restaurants! Clean, safe, great large room! Easy Uber to the cruise ship. Will definitely stay here again!

Loved this boutique hotel, around all the high end restaurants. Across the street from the beach. Nice and quiet no children, only thing was the pool on the roof was a little warm to try and cool off. Will definitely stay again next time in Miami.

No lobby, there’s a desk in a restaurant that has no signage outside. It’s all just a little odd. The room was fine. Modern decor, but not very warm. Almost no counter space in the bathroom.

I was not able to use the pool nor much of the facilities as it has been pouring in Miami and very cloudy, but it is very close to the beach and great restaurants options nearby (walking distance). Great for a business trip or a relaxing, fine dining trip.

Strangely, you enter through a side door of a restaurant and have to check in at the restaurant desk then walk through the kitchen to an elevator. Very odd. Only 16 rooms and not ready a moment before scheduled check in but they held the luggage- unsecured in the restaurant. Not ideal but it worked out. We liked the little spa pool upstairs and the room was nice and bright. The shower was a pain to use with insufficient water pressure.

Our stay at this property was great. The steakhouse next-door 112 was probably one of the best dinners we've ever had. You must go eat there and please ask for Kevin. Beautiful African-American or islander,man waiter with excellent service. Good people! Our room shower in the bathroom smelt like sewer. We reported it and they moved us to the next room and it still smelled like sewer. That was the only issue with the hotel. The hotel was very elegant and cute. Great location. There's also an Italian restaurant across the street and it's close to the beach. Nice swim spa upstairs and pool area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

very clean and quiet hotel. right in the heart of south beach so it’s perfect if you are looking for a spot near the beach and local bars. staff was friendly but it was definitely a much smaller hotel with not too much happening on site. would def stay there again

Beautiful quaint lovely boutique hotel. Was stylist clean and very quiet in the early part of the day. A nice park across the street. Walking to other shops and restaurants was easy. Also just a block away from the ocean. We look forward to visiting again.

It was difficult to find the small “front desk” or even the right door to enter from the sidewalk. There is no signage or information. The rooftop pool is tiny with no food service and only 3 chaise lounges. The room was adequate, the location was great and easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

The hotel itself was small, only 12 rooms, so there was no wait for service. The room had everything needed and a large balcony (king suite). There was a rainfall shower and satelite tv. Room was clean and proper. Pool on the roof was awesome. It was heated and a perfect chill spot for after the beach. We were super happy with the choice to stay here.

Stayed overnight after a cruise. Great service and loved the rooftop hot tub with jets. The switch for the jets was a bit hidden.

Amazing location. The shower is divided by glass from the room (somewhat glazed), which makes it far less private to use the bathroom. Excellent service and reception though. The blonde lady was very helpful and professional.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. However, a couple of things we found disappointing. The information given in this website said there are laundry facilities available which was the one thing that swayed my mind when making the booking. However, there were none so I couldn’t get our washing up to date to last the remaining 10 days of our trip. The bathroom sink was too shallow to even do some hand washing and didn’t drain very well at all. The size of the shower was fantastic but there was no shelf to place your soap, shampoo, conditioner etc on so had to put everything on the floor. Also the floor tiles were very slippery and there was no rubber mat provided nor grab rails for safety. The cleaning staff could not speak english so were unable to help us when we asked about a rubber mat. On a positive note, the hotel was close to a lot of restaurants, a small supermarket, the beach and the trolley service.

Loved this hotel

We loved the heated rooftop pool , the staff was absolutely great at suggesting nearby restaurants of great quality , and always checking in if we are satisfied during our stay. I did not like the fact that the phone in the room did not work , so I had to go back down to reception when I ran into a couple of things in the room .

Location. Valet parking ($50). Extremely long check in (about 40 min for two already paid-for rooms). Every surface and furniture item in the hotel are dinged, worn down, scratched or broken. Looks like the entire property is well overdue for renovation. Very strong chemical smell (likely from cleaning products) in the rooms. Strong chlorine smell from towels. Cheap synthetic sheets on the bed. Not the cleanest (dust in the corners, hair in the sink). Generally, we had an impression of an old motel despite the “premium” status.

Awesome location. Easy check in although a little awkward as you walk through the restaurant and take an elevator in the restaurant to get to your room. Room was very adequate and comfortable. Love the location. Staff was very friendly. Rooftop pool is great. Wish we had discovered it earlier to enjoy it in the evening as it was very warm. The Prime restaurant was very popular and looked really good. We should have eaten there.

I would've given this hotel a "10/10" had the bar on the premises been open at noon instead of the evening. I would've liked an afternoon or early evening beer, but the bar seemed to be always closed during that time.
