Overall a great experience. Minor inconveniences included minimal to no wifi in the room which I only needed for streaming at night, and had to run the shower for 5 min before the water was hot. Other than that, I was very happy. Good value for the money.

Their valet service is amazing and you can take/request beach towels with you to the beach. They also give you “welcome drinks” and that’s a voucher for one night. The only 2 things I disliked was the non window room. There was no air ventilation except for the AC which made the room humid if the mode was on fan. Due to no ventilation and combined humidity, my towels never got the chance to dry and my swimsuit started to smell bad after day 1. There’s also no microwave and I had no luck with their TV as it always said there was an error. There’s no kettle either so don’t bother bringing any type of tea bags with the thought of being able to drink it at night. You’ll have to wait till breakfast the next day and maybe bring a tea bag with you.

Very rude bartender. I asked for my children’s food to warm up and ask how long the TV installation would take. They were almost done. The technician was the one and said like 5 more minutes. The bartender was acting like it could take another 40 minutes and I asked again to warm up some food for 45 seconds. He finally agreed and then went off to clean while the food was warming up. I had to remind him it was only 45 seconds and not to burn the food. The bartender should look for another job if this is so much of an issue and does not know how to talk to costumers. The drain in the shower was extremely slow and the toilet plunger in the tank had issues opening and closing. All other staff was extremely friendly especially the bellhop. Was a great guy!!!!

For the amount of money that I paid this was not a good quality hotel. It was old and dingy. Should have chose elsewhere. The only plus was the proximity to everything, including south beach.

"Drinks upon arrival" was a misnomer. Happy hour starts at 4 (check in is 3) and we had to wait for the construction to end. All signage says 50% off 2nd drink but then they tell you know, you have to buy an over priced drink after your free one before you can get 50% off (which was still a high price). Elevator is 3 people max or 600 pounds so if you're morbidly obese or very claustrophobic, don't go here. Exclusive rooftop pool is open to everyone, also blaring loud music so you have to yell to have a conversation. All posted signs say the pool is open sunrise to sunset but this was not true. Not 6:30-8:30 but 8:30-7:30. Breakfast line was long and most of the food was not hot so I had to get them to microwave my plate. Made the reservation 3 days before arrival and received 3 welcome notices. Each one had a different price for the valet parking. I asked why and never got a response. Got home and found another message about my continued stay with them. We turned in the keys so they'll figure it out eventually. The property is really showing its age: water damage at the base of the bathroom doors, black spots on the mirrors, no coffee maker or microwave in the rooms, windows don't open...

I liked the breakfast. It’s made our stay very convenient and also save us a lot of money.

The hotel is very close to the beach, exactly 1-2 blocks away. It is conveniently located to many restaurants, stores and bars. The hotel bar closes early around 10pm and the breakfast is served daily. Mike was very accommodating and informative. We were there for 5 days and will return again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly upon check-in. The breakfast was delicious. We loved eating in the courtyard. The location was excellent for South Beach access, food, and night life. It was also a great spot for pre-cruise stay.

Service was amazing and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Shoutout to the bartender in the lobby bar who was there June 5-6 (can’t remember his name unfortunately) for going above and beyond taking care of our drinks without us having to ask, he was very attentive and held a high standard to his service! Would stay here again anytime!

Better advertise their small room, and their small pools. Charge less. Keep up with the maintenance like ac ours barely worked effectively as well as new staff they were awful, didn’t have any respect or sincerity. Their valet was horrible too with attitudes.

This hotel is excellent; it is well-located and easily accessible. It offers a good breakfast, and the service is very good as well. I recommend it.

Housekeeping did not leave the black face/washcloths that had make-up written on them, after cleaning our room. The next morning at 6:30 AM front desk was notified and we ask for 2 face/washcloths and they never bought them to our room. My Fiancé had to use one of her T-shirts to remove her makeup and one the large towels to take a shower, which was very inconvenient. Later, I left my phone # with the front desk to have the Manager call me about this situation and she didn’t return my call until 2 days later at the end of her night shift, to compensate us with 2 free drinks and we don’t drink alcohol. I suggested to her that I wanted to be compensated a resort fee, for that particular day and she totally ignored my request. I am not going to stop pursuing a refund a resort fee for that day. Also, the Air Intake Vent and n the bathroom was hanging from ceiling and was not fixed until the last day of our stay. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

The room was clean, but to remove the trash and change the towels you have to wait 3 days. The breakfast was terrible, my family and I left without even trying anything. The pool was dirty and there was very little space near it.

The location was absolutely perfect. The gentleman at the front desk, I wish I remembered his name, because he was very helpful and informative, very friendly. Actually all the staff we spoke with were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. The only down side was the pool is in another building and I’m not sure if it’s available to both of the properties but it’s quite small and it was very full. But not a deal breaker just a fact. If ever I travel back to the area I would for sure check availability there.

We got a balcony room but our view was of the walk way between the two buildings. The room needs drawers for clothes or another place to put luggage. Bathroom has no counter for cosmetics. Small shelf on wall behind door sliding glass door , needs adjusting. Staff was super nice and helpful, rooms were clean , bedding very comfortable. Breakfast was good, loved it was close to everything

The absolute highlight was that Henry had our room ready hours prior to the official check-in time. After a tiring 7-hour drive, being able to settle in early was a massive relief and made us feel instantly comfortable and cared for. Aside from the stellar service, the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We highly recommend this property and want to give a huge thank you to Henry for going above and beyond to start our trip off right! We will definitely be back.

We went for our anniversary celebration, the room smell like humidity and not to clean the bathroom some mold , dust under funiture. The pool very slippery floor , my husband and another 3 guest almost fell when we was there not to safe. Breakfast pretty decent. Location is great everything is walking distance. Staff needs to improve the customer service more patience and friendly with the guesses.

The service was wonderful from the time I walked through the door. Mike and Kevon are the best. The breakfast was awesome. A few steps from the beach. You can't beat it. Entertainment all around. To The staff at The President Hotel; I Commend You All. I will be back. The only issue I had was the hot water wasn't so hot. I basically took cold showers while I was there.

Hotel is in an awesome location with just a few minute walk to the beach. Starbucks is very close by as well. Breakfast was okay but not the best I have had before, especially for a hot breakfast. I was slammed with a $100 holding charge that wasn’t on my paperwork at all and hotel front desk said it was because I booked with Expedia and not directly but I do have to say the $100 was credit ASAP upon checking out. The luggage handler and front doors man was amazing and very friendly and always had a smile on his face.

Overpriced, we booked The president hotel but the sent us to another hotel and the breakfast was at the other hotel, very limited food, always the same selection, staff not helpful, my daughter got to the hotel sick with a stomach virus and they wouldn’t allow us to check in early, horrible experience

Front line staff was super friendly every interaction we had. Rooms were cleaned when requested with no issue. Wish the room came with microwave to warm up the food we put in fridge. 24/7 concierge super beneficial and daily breakfast was average- no worse or better than regular continental breakfast at any other hotel. Bathroom did appear to have a pest problem. Big ants with wings dying in piles underneath the sink which was visible. Sometimes our belongings were covered with dead bug wings. If that is not a dealbreaker for you, this hotel is a really good deal. Walking distance from all the major shops and streets as well as quick walking distance from the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We asked for early check in, since we arrived early morning 8 am., but they were busy so we got our room after 3 pm. They did hold our suitcases for us. Close to the beach, 3 min. Restaurants close by. We purchased our tours from the hotel. Better priced than outside. Henry was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was ok. Balcony room was clean and spacious, not much of a view tho from the balcony. Pool at the rooftop was small but clean and pleasant. Walgreen 1 min walk. Overall a very comfortable and reasonably priced place in close proximity to the beach.

Everything was good I’m use to having microwaves in my room when I travel but they warm food for you and breakfast need variety of meat my other half doesn’t eat pork so that was a bummer but everything else was good!! Will stay again!

The room was amazing nice and cool and the lighting there was amazing great for photos. The portraits on the wall were also beautiful. The beds however are not very comfortable woke up with back pain everyday. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was great I’m not a morning person so I didn’t utilize it really but no complaints. However I didn’t have a beach view I wasn’t too upset about it.

This was not a small cleanliness issue. The room looked unsanitary and not suitable for any guest to stay in. Photos and videos were taken right away as proof. No guest should arrive after travelling and be expected to sleep in a room with bugs and dirty conditions like this. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend this property unless serious cleaning and pest control improvements are made.

Clean room and excellent location walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shopping. This was my 4th stay at this hotel. My experience with breakfast included was much better the 3 prior times. The quality of the breakfast (fair) remained the same; however, drinks and the bread area became auto service and it was messy since the area is way too small for people to toast their own bread. It was much better before when the staff offered you bread already toasted, pancakes and bagels in the buffet line.

Overall a very good experience and hotel. Its affordable and close to the beach, the breakfast is ok not amazing but there are so many places around that you could find good food. The property is clean and the staff’s are helpful. The rooms are tiny but again you can’t be expecting so much from a hotel that is in south beach, affordable and clean.

We will never stay here again! There were termites in our room on our pillows so we complained to the office and manager! We never received a refund which they said we would! We also referred friends to stay there with us at this time who will never return to the hotel either experiencing what we went through!!!! The staff was very rude and unfriendly not accommodating to the situation, try to reach out several times to get refunded!!!!! Guess we’re complaining about the rooms not having AC when the temperature outside was 85!!! Never again was an embarrassment to all of us on school vacation

Unfortunately, this stay did not match what I selected or expected when booking. I specifically chose the Villa Penthouse with Terrace based on the photos shown, expecting the front-facing terrace/view that was advertised. Instead, I was placed in a back-facing room with no real view from the balcony at all. The room was also much smaller than expected compared to what was represented online. I had planned this trip very carefully. My intention was to surprise my boyfriend with a massage setup and decorate the balcony for his birthday, but the balcony space and lack of view completely ruined that idea. The entire reason I paid extra for this specific room was for the spacious terrace and experience shown in the photos. For almost $1300, the room I actually received was absolutely not worth the price. Honestly, I would value the room I stayed in closer to $500 at most. The outdoor chair cushions were also visibly dirty, which added to the disappointment. Another frustrating part of the stay was valet. Every single day I had to repeatedly explain my checkout date, what kind of car I had, and speak to multiple different people just to get my vehicle pulled up. The valet staff themselves were polite and fairly quick once things got moving, but the communication system was extremely aggravating. The number guests are told to call sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t, making the process unnecessarily frustrating. I also requested room service/housekeeping during my stay, and no one ever came to clean the room. The location is still great, which is why I returned in the first place, but overall this experience was very disappointing and nowhere near what was advertised or worth the amount paid. The room accuracy and customer service could have been much better.

It’s okay… the elevator is small and it takes a long time to come up and hand out. Their best are comfortable slept very well. The staff that works there excellent and the breakfast is delicious.

This hotel doesn’t provide beach chairs. The pool towels are thin and rough like cleaning rags. The free breakfast was terrible. I’d never stay here again.

Solid hotel on a budget. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, the lobby and bathrooms were clean and the rooftop pool was well kept. The hotel is older and shows its age and our room had an old, musty type smell to it, but it was clean and housekeeping stopped by every 3 days and took care of us. The location for this hotel is incredible, minutes from the beach, shopping, restaurants and bars. The morning breakfast was ok but not bad for free, and the welcome drinks were.... Welcomed! Overall a great stay for 7 days and I would definitely recommend the President if you're on a budget.

However, there were a few issues—the phone was unplugged, there was limited storage space, and the bathroom lacked counter space for personal items. We also had to report a broken handle, which was fixed the next day. Breakfast was disappointing, as the eggs were cold and the potatoes tasted old. On a positive note, the pool area was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. We were also mistakenly charged for valet parking, and I hope this is resolved without needing to follow up after checkout.

We asked for an early check in around noon and were eventually given access to our room 30 min after the official check in time, having to remind them we were waiting. The hotel was very clean, we had no issues with our room. The room is quite small, but perfect as we were out and about for majority of our stay. The staff were friendly and quick to help when needed! Breakfast was decent, everything is fresh which was nice. The pool area was also very clean and wasn’t crazy busy majority of the time.

Room was smaller than anticipated. Some components of the room were a little rough.

DO NOT LET THE BELLMAN ARRANGE TRAVEL! He cost us $200 to get from Miami Beach to the Port of Miami. Maybe 5 miles from the hotel. The hotel is old, not updated. the room (penthouse) we stayed in was small but seemed clean. I will say that it did have ice cold A/C, which is a definite plus in that area. There was a breakfast with eggs and bacon that's doled out in a serving line. There's a resort fee even though this was by no means a resort but simple a hotel within a couple of blocks from the beach, which we did walk to and that was nice. Our biggest problems were the old hotel smell, the scary tiny elevator with the out of date license on it, and the bellman that cost us as much money as our stay for one ride maybe five miles to the cruise ship. I hope he enjoyed spending his cut of our ride because that was down right theft. I learned to NEVER accept a ride without getting an agreed rate up front.

It looks like it was renovated recently the rooms are nice. Breakfast was good and access to beach was great. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I like they keep your luggages for free after check out.

For the price this hotel is great. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. It was located in a passageway between two buildings of the hotel but it was wide enough that we got sun during the day and far enough from the street to be quiet at night. The balcony was a great place to spend a little time in the afternoon. The included breakfast was fine and the bar in the evening was a nice place to have a glass of wine and watch the foot traffic. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

The refrigerator wasn’t working. The Ac smelled pee when turned down to get cooler, the toilet handles was bent out and hard to flush. Overall is what not what I expected. Not worth the money I sent.

The room was in the second floor, no elevator. I have a disability and did not know there was no elevator. The stairs were difficult for me each day.

I loved the room I received at this old school Florida hotel. It was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable and the air worked great. There was plenty of hot water. The deadbolt didn’t work and they told us it couldn’t be repaired and that there were no more rooms available. We simply put chairs and bags in front of the door. We’ve actually had the front desk at an another hotel key another guest for our room. So we are quite cautious. That’s pretty scary at 2:00 in the morning to have someone open your door other than the emergency latch. It could also be dangerous for many reasons. My friend had the “penthouse” ant the President and it was nowhere near the quality the name brings to mind. It was old and the balcony was dirty with cigarette ash everywhere. They must have left the doors open because the room smelled of smoke. I think I would have fussed about it because of my allergies, but we were just passing through. I hate she wasted $200 for an upgrade that wasn’t there. But for a couple hundred dollars you can’t go wrong if you need a unique boutique type hotel for an overnight stay with their king rooms.

I enjoyed the scrambled egg and cereal/yoghurt that was offered each day. having a piece of fruit was also welcomed. at times there was limited tables to sit at.

Booked a day pass while waiting for a flight after a cruise. What a nice way to relax and unwind. The kids loved the outdoor pool. Staff was very nice and helpful. The airport shuttle was a great perk that saved us another taxi ride.

Front desk staff and Kevon were great! Building looks beat up and tired. Hallway carpets dirty and stained. Limited hot water in bathroom. Pool area was a let down. Elevator skips and grinds.

The staff were all wonderful and attentive. The check-in was easy. The bartender was excellent. The location to restaurants and beach. The hotel needs better cleaning standards. The halls to the room smelled like a heavy scent of disinfectant or kingpins which was jarring to my senses. One could visibly see garbage on the rug. The rug itself was quite dirty. The lock on my window slide door was not working, so it did not lock. The room itself is quite dated. However, the problem is when they have panted the ceiling- terrible job. You can see old color. The one chair in the room— the legs were quite rusted. That can be easily fixed with metal paint so that it won’t look so dilapidated. Also, this is minor and juts my personal presence but having someone serve me breakfast in the morning. I’d prefer to serve myself. But, the staff were all excellent. I doubt I’ll stay at hotel again, but all employees were professional and service oriented.

1. We had to walk through and alley to get to the Penguin. The room was dirty, outdated, had a huge crack in the mirror, a dirty window bench that had white stains on it, paint job was horrible , lamp shades were dirty, night take had cigarette burns and chipped paint

Staff worked very hard with one computer to check in a long line of people, and worked very hard to feed a big crowd of guests every morning. I just watched. I had no desire to stand in that line. Again, very quality staff, but clearly the owners are investing zero money into maintaining even the basic things for this property. Bad business to do it that way. Of course they'll respond here and say that they "strive to maintain excellent facilities for their customers" but really, the owners aren't doing anything to maintain even the basic things.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very welcoming. Micheal and Kevon at the bar were very pleasant. The room was clean and very homey. It was also close to the beach and walking distance to a lot of places. I visited in late January and the weather was great until the cold front. Miami was a great trip and I would definitely recommend the President hotel.

Our stay was amazing including the weather! Hotel is very good, service is great. Very helpful and kind staff! Continental breakfast is included in a price, and drinks during your stay. Rooms were very clean. Rooftop swimming pool. I loved that it is a family friendly hotel, there were a lot of children and my son had a great time meeting new friends and playing with them at the pool. Highly recommended! Will be staying there next time.

The accessible room provided was in poor condition, including refrigerator malfunction, shower fixture corrosion, AC maintenance alert, and damaged iron that stained clothing. When we raised concerns, we were told this was the only accessible room available and were offered a standard room instead. Dining area sanitation was also concerning due to pigeons and visible cleanliness issues. All concerns were reported during the stay. While staff acknowledged issues, no monetary compensation was offered and resort/property fees were charged in full. Future guests who require accessible accommodations should confirm room condition in advance.

The staff were consistently kind, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude made the stay even more pleasant. Finally, the location was absolutely perfect — everything you might need was within walking distance, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Location was awesome but the room and bathroom was very very small for 2 queen beds. Room also smelled very musty. Sebastian at the bar was very kind and made us 2 great welcome drinks. Would not stay here again based on the size and musty smell.

The room was spotless and staff was courteous. Food was good and had enough places to sit. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff was willing to help with any need.

Fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night. No direction from staff on the safety protocol. Then, due to uncomfortably cold weather, the outside seating for the breakfast was not desired. The indoor seating was an absolute zoo. The employees worked their best to handle the situation.

La chambre est très propre et au calme malgré l’emplacement central vraiment nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit déjeuner était plus que correct. Il manque peut être un réfrigérateur dans la chambre si l’on veut tenir des boissons au frais mais vraiment cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Le personnel très sympathique. Vraiment un très bon rapport qualité prix.

It’s a cute place but if you’re looking for a coffee maker in your room or a place to set your toiletries in the bathroom other than the back of the toilet, this isn’t the place for you. You also get charged an additional $150 resort fee on top of your stay which is absolutely absurd after how much you pay to stay there without room service or being able to take your food back to your room. I honestly would’ve paid less with more amenities at a Marriott with no extra hidden charges until arrival and then another $150 deposit pending on your card until check out.

The location is good. There is no refrigerator in room. There is no coffee drink in common area except breakfast. Breakfast needs to register and wait. It’s not efficient.

When we arrived, there were bugs all over the bed. The next morning when we tried to shower, there was no hot water. No contact attempted by the hotel manager regarding our concerns.

This hotel is a great option for a short stay in Miami. It’s not glamorous but the location is excellent. The rooms are dated but clean. The full breakfast each day is a huge money saver in over-priced Miami Beach. I can’t give it 5 stars as there are imperfections (thin walls, limited furnishings, tiny bathroom) but it does deserve 4 solid stars. There’s a nice pool. The staff is lovely. The rate is very reasonable. You can’t do much better for the price.

It’s fine for me, I require no “perfect” room. but they should have coffee in the rooms, you can’t get it until 7AM on the hotel. The breakfast is edible and nutritious. It’s quiet which I loved the most, and staff is always available and friendly for when anything is not working in your room.

Came here after our cruise. The hotel had a swanky look but it was overly sprayed with some type of fragrance. So I thought ok. I should be able to deal with it. Got to the room, nice, looked cleaned, bed felt good. But when I got back that night I could sleep. I felt like something was biting me . All of a sudden there were these bugs all over the curtains and omg when I went to the bathroom there were so many flying things . It was horrible ! I contact the guy I think his name was George/Victor small Latin guy. He did not care! I would never stay here or send anyone to this property!! I'm just glad I only had one night. I was exhausted that morning from being up worrying about ithem bugs and flying things.

The President had an excellent attention to detail as staff was attentive and worked to meet guests needs. The front desk and porter were very helpful from bag delivery and storage to accomadating special requests.The hot American style breakfast was always fresh and hogh quLity and served well and efficiently. Coffee of good quality and variety of juice pastries cereal and yogurt options available. The only drawback was in the room, certain fixtures had seen their better day with the lamps bases and other metal about the fixtures were worn and bathroom sink drain not working properly. The mirror as well was usable but its seemed its corrosion was not charming.The luggage rack provided had corroded legs and left rust trails if you moved it. Bath was very tight on floor space as well. For larger people not a good fit especially the shower with door to swing in only to enter and walk around as commode blocked function of opening out. Mattress though comfortable had a squeak to its springs upon sitting on it. The location, very nice breakfast, excellent friendly service of staff and relative quietness for a busy area allmade up for the foibles of the small bath. Upgrade the room and opt for a larger bath if available if staying.The pool area looked clean safe and was well attended with key access by elevator. It was relatively small as it served two hotels on property so stop early for a spot. We did not use but visited to see the rooftop view. Nice family hotel and great value

Parking wasn’t provided and the fee was $25 a day if you can get the one a block away.

Overall, the stay was excellent. The breakfast was great and very convenient, and the valet parking service was also top-notch. The only minor drawback was the cracked windows, which allowed in a noticeable amount of street noise. If street noise doesn’t bother you, this is a great option, especially given its close proximity to the beach and Lummus Park.

Check in prompt and friendly. Rooms clean but very Spartan. Although always annoying, the so called resort fee does actually provide something here. There is a free welcoming drink and an excellent breakfast buffet. Although we didn't take advantage due to the weather, there is access to beach chairs and umbrellas.

What a dump never would stay

Breakfast was pretty good. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Had to run the shower for 5 minutes before it got warm, but everything else was awesome.

Kevon took care of our breakfast and his service was excellent. The breakfast was great and the service was really good. The food is free and It surpassed my expectations, I got much more than expected. There was nothing about the breakfast I did not like because I got much more than I expected and the service was great.

The first room was a small queen on the first floor not what i expected . But they changed me and moved me to the 2nd floor and I was happy. Overall, for the price you pay, it's worth it.

This trip was a birthday getaway, and I expected the balcony room I selected and paid for. Instead, I was placed in a small corner room with a window that did not open and offered no view. Both the hotel and Expedia refused to take responsibility for the downgrade. I also paid $116 in resort fees, primarily for the included breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast offered no vegan or vegetarian options, so I was unable to use that part of the service at all. The pool was also extremely small and had no view, which was inconsistent with the property description and marketing photos.

This was a good hotel to stay at. Our room was clean, and the location is ideal if you prefer to stay close to the beach and within walking distance of many different restaurants. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate, offering a good selection of food choices.

No coffee maker in the room. Coffee severed with breakfast was watered down/weak. I had to go to the cafe across the street and buy coffee. We requested an extra pillow and couldn’t get one. The bathroom had a single sink basin with 0 counter space. The pool was ice cold for the first couple of days but then the heat got turned on.

Was perfect for what we needed

Location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful but our hotel room needed repairs and renovating. The shower head fell off, there were water stains on the ceiling that had been patched multiple times, our door keys wouldn’t hold the code, etc. Windows were very old with cracks around the edges so you could hear all the street noise. only one nightstand for two queen beds and no outlets. Book for location, not for comfort.

We had a great stay at the President Hotel. The staff was very kind and Helpful. The location was perfect for visiting South Beach, we never needed out car to do anything locally. The daily breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed starting out the evenings with the happy hour special and doing some people watching on the covered patio entrance, which is on a great street to do such. We will be back.

Stay was Ok. The best part of the hotel was the location. If you want to stay near south beach for a price range this would be the hotel for you. Other things like resort fee ( which is common I guess only in resorts not sure) for close to $100, where pool is in 5th floor in next building with no open bar was odd. Only thing is you will get a towel and chair for beach if you’re lucky plus the person is reception told me WiFi is included in resort fee which was odd too. The free breakfast menu was same everyday. Plus the main part of breakfast which is the protein like egg or bacon is served to you. I didn’t go back for seconds but it looked odd that food are serve to you like school cafeteria. The rooms were good and clean only issue was windows were bared shut. You can not open window. You will have to use AC to feel fresh in room even if you feel colder already. Overall it was a good trip like I said if you care about just the location and a room to stay probably with resort fee this might be the hotel for you.

Hotel is close to the beach which is a plus. However, one room assigned to us is close to electric room which is too noisy at night. Another room is ‘upgraded’ per the hotel but actually creates some issues as we have 3 adults there in booking but the room is a king bed plus a sofa bed. So overall it is ok. Staff is good though

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast. There should be 4 bath towels in the room. We pay a resort fee but didnt use anything on the list it says it pays for. On hotels.com it says all taxes and fees included but the extra $38 sucks.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was seamless, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The surroundings were also beautiful.

The room was excellent. Harry at the front desk was excellent but had too much on his plate. Roof top pool was barely adequate and no alcohol allowed. Breakfast was not worth 7.50 let alone a 40.00 value and there were too many people fighting for food. Several of the staff thought they understood english but didnt...brought our car when i just asked for a link to make sure they has my car. Short staffed. Again Henry did the best he could do with all his tasks. Got 2 bath washes..no shampoo..no big deal but worth mentioning. Advertise as beachfront but it is not even close. False representation. Would not stay again although it was affordable.

The bed sheets were very old and need to be replaced. We were charged pool fees without being asked if we were using the facilities. The breakfast was not good, and the fee per couple was very expensive for such a basic meal.

Only idea i suggest is maybe put the right designated area for smoking area, my bf and I was enjoying sitting at the porch at night and smokers using both side of porch smoking. Theres a sign of no smoking in the wall but in the trash can, it says u can smoke in that area, it contradicts it. But other than that. Everything else is great.

Collin’s street can’t be called quiet, but rooms toward the back are pretty quiet, except for the cleaning crew at 8am in the morning. Loud talking, doors slamming. Crew needs to consider guests in the rooms. Front desk, front door and bar service were excellent. Parking valet left a bit to be desired. Nonetheless we’d stay here again. Easy walk to the Filmore and lots of restaurants.

I was discriminated against and illegally refused my room due to my service animal. They were asking for "proof" which is not something that anyone in the United States is legally allowed to request. I was then turned away as they refused to check me in and they refused to refund me for the stay. The woman and the manager at the front desk were terribly unkind. The young woman working the check-in was rude and prior to this encounter was serving guests around me, ignoring me, and took a call complaining about their co-worker in front of me.

Everything was wonderful, the location, the smaller rooms (Miami style) except the accessibility inside the hotel. Stairs everywhere, tough to move luggage around. Breakfast was good as well

Overall excellent

Rooms are clean and well equipped. The breakfast has lots of options as long as you can eat carbs, and don't have allergies. . . vegan and gluten free people would do better to take a room with a fridge and have your own food. Generous staff who are unfailingly friendly and polite. Reasonable rates especially in the off season. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the area. Good bus options but don't try to park here.

Nice Hotel near to everything. You could have put in the water daily to the room since it was included in the resort fee, instead we had to ask daily. Not so nice. Breakfast was very good. Aircondtion could be better, we all caught a could.

Room is too congested. Can't properly open the main door due to bed right behind the door. Only single charging point available. Bathroom is extremely tiny. Complimentary water bottles were provided in the afternoon instead of morning after requesting them multiple times.

Room was big bathroom was dirty and shower pressure was non existent.

The bartender wouldn’t give us non-alcoholic beverages in place of the free alcoholic ones. We ended up giving our tickets away last time. I booked us in there twice last November so I still have yo go back there on the 22nd. The breakfast is set up horribly ! You go down to the tiny main lobby and everyone in the 2 buildings that make up the hotel are all there in a line up that takes about 45 minutes to get to the two people serving you and they barely speak a lick of English and you have to try to get what you want to eat using hand gestures and they are cheap with the serving sizes. The second day there before we went on our cruise we just went down the street and bought breakfast from another hotel that was set up better. Not really looking forward to going back but I wasn’t able to cancel because the internet on the icon of the seas is shootie at best. I tried to cancel but couldn’t so I am going back on 22nd and not really looking forward to it.

Customer service needs improvement. Only one checking counter was open, and I waited over 30 minutes to check in while the staff was busy checking in others and handling stored luggage, giving directions to restaurants and activities. The advertised penthouse did not have any view, which is misleading when booking.

Staff were all wonderful, especially Henry he was extremely helpful and had a great personality!

Very clean and updated. Good price. Great location!!! Other than the bed there was only a small desk and desk chair and one luggage rack. No other places to put suitcases to open them other than the bed. There was also no comfy chair to sit in to read. If you wanted to sit down there was only the small desk chair and the bed. The elevator was also very small (3 person) so during busy times it took forever to get a lift to room or to lobby. The breakfast was really good but area was very crowded. Coffee should have been out in lobby so you could get a cup before breakfast. That would also remove it from adding to the crowding in the small diningroom. The outside dining area in back had pigeons. Not real sanitary for eating in.

Great location, very kind staff, especially at the front desk — truly 5-star service. Overall, not bad for a 3-star hotel. Basic breakfast included, but there was some noise in the evening and the cleanliness could be improved. My husband and I were not impressed by one of the kitchen employees. We had an early morning activity scheduled and requested an early breakfast to avoid leaving on an empty stomach. The lady was not collaborative and did not allow us to have the breakfast that was already paid for through the daily hotel amenity fees. We requested a refund but have not received anything yet.

I would rate cleanliness OK, The breakfast was really good with many breakfast options, our mattress felt uncomfortable and very squeaky bed, I think the whole hotel needs update, most of the stuff are friendly lots of them didn’t speak English, we had a issue on the pool, one of the staff members didn’t let us use the umbrellas, He said it is too windy while hotel next-door has not opened their umbrellas, after contacting management we were allowed to use umbrellas whole entire day and no wind at all.. stressed for no reason! In general the area is really close to the beach couple minutes a walk, a lot of restaurants and bars around

Well run, clean hotel in great location. Henry at the front desk was a joy to work with and always went over and above anything asked. Definitely recommend and will stay there again.

The room was clean as was the overall property. Breakfast options are limited but was overall okay for a quick bite. We booked a balcony room and had a view of an alleyway and the building next door which was extremely upsetting. Got woken up to the sound of dumpster emptying. Overall the property was clean and in a convenient location but the upgrade to a balcony was a waste of money. Room is very plain and lacks decor but was functional. I find housekeeping only every three days to be not up to our standards. I don’t think I’d return to this property in our future stays

This hotel was convenient and very clean. My room was modern decor and very nice. The staff was very friendly and the hotel overall was small but very unique and comfortable for me. I will definitely stay here again and bring my family. Oh yeah the pool is on the roof top of the other hotel and it’s so relaxing with a nice view and they give you breakfast on the morning. Best weekend hotel ever!!

The room was beautiful with a very large terrace and breakfast was fine but preferred bacon and only had sausage. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We needed an extra blanket and went to the front and they were very hospitable. 2 Welcome alcohol or non alcoholic beverages available but no nuts or snacks. No restaurant available; only breakfast. 2 bottles of water in room provided.

Can’t adjust the AC, parking is abysmal where you are almost forced into using a valet service that takes 45 minutes to go get your car. DO NOT use it if you have a flight to catch or somewhere to be. Food around property is incredibly expensive. Hotel staff was really nice, but I’d never stay here again, even if they paid me to.

Super cute! Very friendly check in and bar. Everything you could need is walkable. I wish we were staying longer, but we only have 1 night before a cruise. Very convenient to the port.

The room was good. Except no microwave and a lizard was in the room the first night and after calling front desk, and someone said he was coming up but my wife had to go down and get the guy. (He was asleep) after he did come in the room, my wife was the one who actually got the lizard. Mike, Henry, Kevon and the housekeeping staff were awesome ❤️❤️❤️💕
