Park Royal Miami Beach

Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Walgreens and Publix are nearby, and the trolley stop is right around the corner, making it easy to get to the center of Miami Beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large living room, cozy terrace with a partial ocean-view, walk-in shower, well-equipped kitchen and a large refrigerator. The hotel also provides beach towels and has a small swimming pool. A very convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially for families, both for longer stay or a just 1-2 nights before the cruise Everything was super!

This was an excellent little hotel for my family. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel staff was so kind and helpful. We were impressed. The pool was also very clean. The area was decent and had a Walgreens nearby. The only thing I would say is if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the loud city from your room, so bring earplugs.

We had gotten off our cruise in the morning & had to wait for check in, the lobby is rather small for multiple people waiting to check in.

The location was perfect with us since we had family staying nearby. Our stay was quiet and calm (mid April) and the staff was great about helping setup a packnplay for our little one. Nearby the hotel there’s plenty of places within walking distance and the beach is within a 5 minute walk.

We felt safe at all times, they even have an agreement with beach seats for free which is great! The beach was at walkable distance as well as a Publix. Two sun loungers on the beach are provided for free, but without an umbrella. There is a nice small pool with loungers and umbrellas. Paid parking: you are assigned a specific parking spot, so you don’t have to keep looking for where to park. High humidity in the room. There is nowhere to dry a swimsuit. The bathroom has no heated floor and no heated towel rail, so towels are always damp. You can leave swimsuits to dry outside on a chair, but even by morning they are still not dry. The humidity in the room is unpleasant. The bedding and clothes also feel constantly damp, which is uncomfortable. The floor is stone and cold, with no carpeting, so sand and similar debris stick to your feet. The TV worked poorly-it wouldn’t load properly and kept freezing, probably due to a weak connection.

When I arrived they told me the hotel was over booked. And said go to a different hotel. Had to walk like 10 mins away and the hotel was a dump. I will never recommend this hotel again. Super rude

The managers were really helpful and kind. They let us hang around the pool with our kids way after our checkout time after our flight got delayed. The foldable couch-bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the kids still slept well

Close to the beach. The room 11 seems that went into a maintanance and the dishware in the kitchen closet was not cleaned after it and was full of dust. Additionally, the flush valve in the bathroom was running continuously and I let the front desk guy aware as soon as I arrived but nothing was done. I need to open and close the toilet main valve everytime I need to use the restroom.

We were so surprised by the quality of the space. The pool was much more lovely than the photos made it appear. Although the pool was smaller than it seemed in the photos, the setting was really lovely with the palm trees. We were surprised to find such a beautiful shower in the room, a balcony, and a kitchen. It was a really excellent place and I wish we had stayed longer. Also really loved the staff, everyone we interacted with was very kind and hospitable. We were looking for a good value on Miami Beach and can’t believe how much you get for the price with this one.

On the day of travel, we arrived at the airport two hours before departure, only to learn that our Frontier flight had been canceled shortly before takeoff. There were no alternative flights available, and traveling by car was not a realistic option. We immediately contacted both Expedia and the hotel to explain that we could not travel due to circumstances completely beyond our control. Despite clearly communicating the situation, we did not receive any understanding or flexibility from the hotel. We were unable to use the reservation at all and had no direct experience with the property beyond a few phone calls. Nevertheless, the situation was handled without consideration of the circumstances. This experience felt unfair. Hospitality should involve understanding and supporting guests, especially when unexpected events occur. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not choose to book with them again.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at Park Royal! The staff was friendly, our room was clean, and the location was convenient right near North Beach.

The location was convenient, with beach nearby. We were able to find night time parking nearby. Having the kitchen and a spacious room was nice. The sofa bed in the room we had the first night was not comfortable when pulled out. We folded it back and one person slept on it as a sofa. We were able to switch to a room with two beds, which was much better. It is well cleaned. The smell of cleanser was strong. We kept the doors open a while to air it out.

Close to beach Not clean, bad neighborhood. Scary place to be. Staff no helpful. The lobby reminded me of an old construction office from the 60’s. This property is not a three star at all. I could hear the noisy neighbors all night through the walls. They finally got quiet at 3:00 am and then I got up at 3:30 to catch my fight. My socks will never be clean again from the cold floor. We got there early and they would not accommodate us even by 30 minutes to check in early. The room was old and dated. I felt like I was in a single wide trailer from the 60’s. I would not want to stay there again.

The fee for the parking should be charged accordingly the number of days, too expensive for just one night.

The only negative point was that one of the beds made a spring noise when we moved, which could be improved. Overall, the experience was good and the space met our needs.

Close to the beach and grocery. Place was acceptable in cleanliness. The kitchen bottom cabinets didn't have handles so made it tricky to open. Stove top wording was gone so guessed at the temp but was still able to make breakfast. A fan should be installed in the bathroom and over the stove but overall it was a pleasant stay. Needs were met and would stay there again. All staff were excellent and nice! Check in and out were quick and painless. Price was affordable. They even hold on to your bags if needed.

The staff wasn’t very friendly and I’ve overheard them speaking bad about customers. They have strict check in and check out policies which don’t make a lot of sense to keep the customer waiting in the lobby when it’s obvious that rooms are already ready.

Overall great stay . They offered bottled water in lobby and in room, nice touch. Beach chairs were provided. The only issue we encountered was a noisy mattress, very noisy but was comfortable.

The side road it faces can be noisy, but for the location, good quality, and price it's a fine trade-off. The beach and waking paths are a block away, the area is very walkable you won't need a car. Overall I do recommend Park Royal.

I didn’t read the fine print, there is a resort fee and parking fee which totaled and extra $150. The resort fee did give you 2 chairs at the beach and beach towels which was great but was also for the pool. The pool was completely locked up and we were unable to use. I did mention it at check out and they waived my resort fee. Really appreciated that!!! The rooms were very clean. The location was very convient to local attractions but is on a major road which was very noisy. The beds and pillows could be a little more comfortable.

I had trouble with rides showing up. hotel found me a cab I used several times. he showed up on time and was reasonable. in Miami that's rare. thank you park royal. also.... bathrooms were nicer than the fountainbleau (I was double booked) so park royal is where I showered too. the towels were even nicer!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel; it is very clean and staff are very friendly.. Alfonso and Carlos did a great job helping us get familiar with the services I y he area and they were very nice and accommodating.. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again next year 🙂

We changed rooms as next busy road. Staff friendly and accommodating. Charge to park car expensive hotel next door 13 dollars cheaper per day. Extra cost per day to use pool and sun beds on beach wasted as we only used once out of three. Location central and bus service good to get around not much in terms of eating and shopping near by

Friendly staff, great they have kitchen in the rooms, generally clean. But the air in the rooms is very humid and moldy. They need to do something with it, maybe just clean ACs more often. But if you have allergies or asthma or any other issues with your lungs this place is certainly not for you. Especially rooms on the first floor. All my clothes, my suitcase had a very strong mold odor when I came back home and started unpacking. I feel bad I had to breath that for 5 nights. Staying for several nights you get used to it, but it certainly not healthy. If not this, it would be a great place to stay, but it’s a huge disadvantage.

What I liked was the cute room and outside chairs for sitting. What I didn't like was I was charged a resort fee, which I have no idea why because this wasn't a resort. it was a motel room with a pool. When i asked what was included with the fee, I was told coffee in the room and beach towels. Isn't that what a room rate covers? why is there an extra fee? i couldn't enjoy coffee, because there was sugar but no creamer, and I didn't use beach towels because I was only there for overnight, so I have no idea why this place was so expensive. i had to eat from a vending machine because there was no little cafe even on the premises or lobby with even any food to offer

There is additional parking under the hotel but very few people could park there due to it being so narrow with columns in each spot. We also didnt love the thin walls of the hotel. Besides hearing our neighbors full conversations, we had to knock on the walls one night due to our naughty neighbors being a bit too passionate during sexy time. The beds were stiff and sheets not so soft. So not the best sleep. We were out every night and was able to sleep okay only because we had a few drinks. The last thing and most importantly, which is a huge no no where ever you stay- we had someone just randomly open our door the morning of check-out.This was a few hours before check-out time so this shouldnt have happened. I wanted to love the hotel because of the cleanliness. But I will not recommend nor stay here again.

Check in wasn’t a breeze. Reception guy was very unprofessional. I didn’t get the room the I reserved. Okay location; close to the beach; pool was refreshing. I don’t think I’ll be back due to poor customer service.

I vacation often in Miami Beach and this hotel was one of the better ones. Located next to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Check in was easy. Parking is available at the property for $27 a night or there street parking (meter) parking right next to the hotel. There is also a parking lot across the street which is also meter but is free from 6p-8a. Room is a perfect size and is very clean. Bathrooms are updated which is a major plus. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Parking is available at the property for $27 a night or there street parking (meter) parking right next to the hotel. There is also a parking lot across the street which is also meter but is free from 6p-8a. Room is a perfect size and is very clean. Bathrooms are updated which is a major plus. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

After being dissapointed in several hotels, mainly "Seacost Suits" being the worst, I was very surprised how comfortable and relaxing Park Royal was. Good hotel rooms, great customer service, and a nice sense of security. The pool water was a bit dirty, but otherwise it was a great time!

Overall good. The only thing I did not like is it is not accessible late at night. No way to get back into the room after they close the doors.

Slight smell of mildew in the first room but they immediately moved us. Everything was great after that.

Everybody has the same room key , my door was opened in the middle of the night

Room was beautiful and clean. Also loved the beds and pillows - so comfortable! The amenities are all updated and the room itself was wonderful. The hotel is also super close to the beach and citibike rentals are just a block away. Just a heads up, parking is $30 a night on site!

Staff was great, pool was clean, and location was great!

The room was extremely clean and had everything you needed! A little kitchenette, table to sit at, very comfortable bed, and black our curtains for that extra hour of sleep! The location was on a main road- but for the price you really can’t beat it and it was a 5 min walk to the beach (or less). The service was quick and friendly, and it was very peaceful and quiet at night. The pool was clean and easy to get to. Overall great stay.

It is close to a lot of shops and restaurants. All within walking distance and the beach is also very close.

I found this hotel to be perfect. Alfredo, Juan & the woman at the front desk were amazing. We will stay here again without a question.

Nice and clean. Next to a main loud street but other then that It was worth it

The general manager was so welcoming and kind. The front desk assistant (Kevin) was very friendly explaining all the things i was asking.
