No Advance Notice - I was told about this upon my arrival by a hotel employee around 5pm on Friday, May 29, 2026 and that it would be fixed by 11am on Saturday, however it never was. High Priced Hotels as Alternative Options Day of Notice - With several events going on in Miami, finding another hotel without an advanced notice would have cost me hundreds of dollars extra the day / weekend of. Consistent High Temperature in Room - The temperature in the room was 90 degrees and with the Sun and heat from outside the temperature in the room was near 100 as the room captured heat with no ventilation. Uncomfortable for my Events - It became very uncomfortable after showers and I could not stop sweating as I went to festival premiere events and had to cool off in the restrooms at my events with wiping my face, redoing my hair, and re-steaming my clothes. At Night - At Night, I had to sleep with the window on the 1st floor completely open which was unsafe as someone cloud have come in from outside. I also slept with the small refrigerator open hoping it could help but, it didn’t. The ceiling fan in the room did not help and there was no portable fan. Sweating - I also sweated at night and I could not sleep long. The most I slept each night was about 3 to 4 hours as it was so hot. I woke up constantly with sweat on my face.

The location . The cleaning lady came coming in while I was there . They knock once and come right in . And they don’t even have a not disturb sign . They don’t clean the floors or bathrooms. They barely clean anything and change your sheets. And they never returned my 100 deposit. I was there for work and it was the location that was good .

The room had no ac, they claimed it was central unit , the toilet plugged every time, the towels we kid towels, the elevator only worked a couple of days so I walked the stairs for the rest of the week as that elevator looks like it’s from the 60’s, the outside was dirty and you will not get your room clean unless u ask them to, so it my first and last time I stay at that place there were way better hotels around the area. Stay away from that place also they charged 114 dollars more and cooled it arrival fee

Beyond the AC issue, there were many smaller details that added up: - torn blanket that barely fit the bed, - dim lighting throughout the room, - loud ceiling fan, - mismatched towels, - visible buildup on faucets, - burn holes in the shower curtain no housekeeping service, one shared iron for the property, and parking that costs $30/day despite being a very improvised setup. The property also charges daily “resort fees,” but there were no resort-style amenities during my stay. No pool, no beach towels, no complimentary coffee, no meaningful amenities beyond a small water station in the lobby and vending machines.I am a veteran and not one who complains easy.tbc

The staff was nice, but the hotel was awful. First of all the air-conditioning was broken and we had purchased three different rooms and there was something wrong with each of the rooms essentially. Two of them had broken showers and the one that had a functioning shower had no hot water. Also the bath towels they gave us were disgusting. They looked like 20 years old dry rotted beach towels. Disgusting. The toilets barely flushed and the TV did not work. Even our chargers, barely stayed in the wall outlets because they were so loose. The only upside is close proximity to the beach and some nightclubs but aside from that absolutely horrible hotel. Definitely would recommend paying a little bit extra to stay somewhere nicer across the street.

From our arrival until check out the entire stay was absolutely terrible. No air conditioning. It broke and I had to fight with the receptionist (the man with the tattoos) to get transferred to a floor with functioning air conditioning. We slept like this and woke up sick with a heat stroke, vomiting. Nobody cared. There was huge bugs in our fridge and on the bed. No towels. Elevators barely functioning. Receptionist watched us go 3 floors up with luggages, without even offering to help. He continuously refused to let me speak to the manager claiming there was no manager. After finally getting in contact with one, the manager sent one email about a reimbursment and then stopped replying. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Extremely unprofessional.

I didn't have a remote for the TV and the front desk didn't help me there so no TV during my stay. The furniture looks like it was picked up off the street for free. There's no do not disturb sign to hand on the door. No housekeeping. I've stayed in a couple of sh*t holes in my time (e.g., when we crammed 5 teenagers into a small room at Daytona Beach for spring break) but this one may take the cake.

The location was great — very close to the beach, which was the best part of the stay. The beds are extremely hard, low, and uncomfortable — the kind you would expect in a school, not a hotel. In the bathroom, despite being two guests, there was only one bath towel for one person. The shower water splashes outside the shower area and there was no extra towel to put on the slippery floor — I could have fallen. The floor stayed wet all night with no way to dry it. There are no extra towels at all, not small ones or large ones, for a second person. The renovation they advertise is of terrible quality — worse than the worst bathroom from the 1980s, poorly done and tasteless. The room quality overall is very low. There is no security: two drunk guys knocked on my door by mistake and woke me up. The front desk staff was cold and unfriendly — the agent scolded me for asking a question, made me wait through an entire check-in process for a guest who was not even present before helping me, and showed zero interest throughout. At checkout, no one was at the front desk; when I called out, it was a cleaning employee who told me to leave and that she would handle the checkout. I will never return to this place.

Everything else, from no hair dryers, no irons, non stop broken key cards, a bed made of springs that rolls you into a concave, no essentials besides a soap the size of your thumb, broken TV, loud AC, no cleaning services and a broken shower that after 10 minutes actually heats up…besides all of that…the dirt and trash under the bed and in the closet was enough for anyone to think they’ve made their way into a homeless shelter. There were plenty of unfolded blankets stuffed on shelves and a mis mash of broken hangers. Listen, I’m ok with bargain, I get bare essentials. But this place made it feel you’d get a disease sleeping on the bed. So bring your own essentials, sheets and pillow cases or just sleep in your clothes like I did for 4 days. Ps…be careful with their elevator, it’s one of those 100 year old ones where you pull a gate to open it. Problem is my hand got smashed stuck in the gate. That was a painful addition to my stay. I am completely baffled that this is listed as a 4 star hotel. Great location though!

The door wouldn’t lock properly, the refrigerator didn’t work, the bedding had holes in it, and there was something disgusting on the curtain. We were only given two towels and told they only supply two per room, with no flexibility. On top of that, they charged a $100 deposit that was never disclosed on their website, even though I had already paid well in advance. The front desk attendant was also very unfriendly and unhelpful. This was definitely a “you get what you pay for” experience, and we will absolutely never be back. Also when I reached out before the trip we were told we could check in early but when I arrive he told us we couldn’t check in until 4pm no exceptions. So from 9a-4p we were tired and miserable

The only positive point was the location, as I was attending an event in the city. Unfortunately, the stay itself was very disappointing and did not meet basic standards. I am requesting my money back as compensation for this stay. The room was dirty, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, there were hairs in the bathroom, and it smelled bad. The hot water was not working, even after I asked the receptionist to fix it. Also, the window facing the street did not have a proper curtain that could fully close, which affected my privacy and comfort. The receptionist only offered a $22 discount for one night, which does not compensate for all the problems. They still charged me for parking, even after all these issues. I was in Miami Beach for an important event and I could not rest properly or be well prepared because of the poor condition of the room.

I don’t know why everyone says the staff here are rude and whatnot. Maybe because a lot of people that come and visit have a sense of entitlement, and start off as a sassy person, then you wonder why you get the attitude that you do. This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever been to! Disgusting, worst customer service ever. Location was good though by beach This places is disgusting! Do not stay here! The floors were so gross and coated in dirt! The front desk guy was so rude and not inviting at all and was short and could tell he gets easily annoyed. They gave us 1 towel and we have 2 people. I went and asked for another towel and he was very annoyed and it was apparent that I was inconveniencing him… and handed us a damp towel. Ew. The shower was so gross we didn’t even want to shower. There was stains/mildew and mold on the shower curtain. The sheets were not washed prior. Dust all over the ice bowl on the fridge. The ceiling fan made the worst noise all night and looked like it was about to fall out of the wall. Paper thin walls, can hear everything. With also weird banging noises late at night at midnight. Almost like a hammer on the walls? My socks were filthy walking on the floors too! Also…. wtf is up with the art work? So random and reminds me of like Epstein island or how a coke lord would decorate. Very not homey or comfy at all. Oh also they give you a thin sheet blanket. So have fun sleeping like shit.

My stay at Notebook Miami was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The property did not meet expectations based on the listing—cleanliness, overall condition, and attention to detail were all below standard. There were multiple issues that made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating, and it was clear that proper care and management are lacking. What made things worse was the lack of responsiveness and urgency when these concerns were brought up. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, it felt like they were dismissive and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration. For the price paid, this was absolutely not worth it. There are far better options in Miami where you’ll get better service, cleaner accommodations, and a more professional experience. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Would never book here again. Beds only had a single sheet, holes in the curtains, ceiling fan didn’t work, lamp placed on the floor next to the bed, no phone in the room, tv wouldn’t turn on, unpainted particle board on bathroom vanity, no in room temperature control. When we went to the front desk, the gentleman said he was the only one working and couldn’t do anything about the fan and since we were only staying one night, we should be fine. The gentlemen working at check out was the only redeeming thing. He was friendly. This hotel was cheap for a reason. Lesson learned.

CATFISH. Get sat for this review cause I’ve got nothing nice to say. Trashiest hotel imaginable. Toilet didn’t flush. Room looked NOTHING like the listing photos. The comforter had… what i can only assume is human pleasure juice… on it. You know what that tells me ? THEY DONT WASH THE BEDDING. The towels were shredded, stained and dirty. They gave us 1 bath towel and when I asked for more they were rude and resistant. Then when we went out, they came in our room and took our towels and didn’t replace them. I’m normally forgiving if 1-2 things are off but EVERYTHING SUCKED HERE. The matress felt like sleeping directly on springs. Pretty this whole hotel was furnished with street corner finds cause why is everything so musty and disgusting?? You’d be more comfortable pitching a tent on a street corner. I complained and they refunded the bogus hotel fee they charge. 0 stars. Scam hotel.. I will be disputing with my bank

I can’t even begin to tell you had bad of an experience we had with this hotel. First it took over an hour to try to check in as the one and only front desk person at 8:35 pm was outside smoking and then took an extreme amount of time checking in two other guests. When it was finally our turn, our check in was being interrupted by other guests who couldn’t get into their rooms due to malfunctioning locks. When he was finally able to check us in, he was only able to find one of the two rooms on the itinerary even though the charges clearly reflected two rooms. Between no working elevator, door lock problems and what seemed to be hourly room rentals we finally had to leave at 10pm and search for a new place to stay when we were already exhausted from traveling. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying here. Not only for these issues but it seems rundown and according to the front desk host “they have a lot of work to do”

We called downstairs because the remote wasn't working and was told he'd be up with batteries or a replacement remote but he never showed so we just went to bed. Sunday morning when I expressed my dislike of things with the front desk staff he just told me (oh I would've given you comforters if you had asked ) like excuse me. I definitely wouldn't recommend.

Expedia should take them off of their places to stay. The only thing that was good was the location. It was noisy but would have been better if the windows were thicker and the air conditioning worked properly along with the ceiling fan which made a lot of noise. The people at the front desk didn’t care at all and didn’t want to make my stay pleasant. They didn’t even have a corkscrew. They wanted to have my drivers license as security for a beach towel. This hotel is so bad. The location is far away from central. There is only 2 restaurants and nothing is around. The room is so getto like staffs are not helpfully. They are not willing to help. And they treat customer like a prisoner. The room is so old and dirty, no hot water so i have to take a cold shower on the day Miami is so cold. The sheets were dirty or stained and the wash cloths were miceofiber towels. I didnt spend much time in my room so I made do with what I could. Parking was 30 a day and 90 were added for a resort fee and they charge 3 dollars for a can soda at the vending machine. No complimentary breakfast, no beach towels available. There was nothing resort about this establishment that should entail a resort fee.

The room was clean. The lobby was nice, great for pictures! The staff was mostly helpful. Tony was the best! Over all the stay was good but I do have some complaints. First, the lack of amenities. When I say there were none, there were literally none. No microwave, no hair dryers, no tooth brushes, nothing you would normally expect to be able to get at a hotel. They don't even have wash cloths so be sure to bring your own. Also, it was freezing outside the weekend I visited (30 F at night), and the hotel never turned on the heat, so the entire building, including our room was cold. We had to close our vent due to it blowing cold air. The room key cards, were not good quality. They kept getting deactivated and we had to have them resent almost every day. Last thing is as I was leaving, I needed to use the elevator to bring down my luggage. The elevator has an exterior door that needs to be closed to operate. Well apparently someone on another floor didn't close it, and it got stuck there. When I went to the front desk and said it wasn't working she told me why it didn't work, and said she didn't feel like going upstairs to close it. I had a ride to the airport waiting on me so I ended up having to carry everything down the stairs. That was a horrible customer service moment but luckily the positive experience we had with the other staff members outweighed that one bad moment.

I also asked for ice “all we have is vending machines, no ice.” I have never stayed at a hotel where they don’t provide ice or cups. I reported the issue the first morning and was told maintenance would fix it around 10 a.m. When I returned at night, the shower was still not working. The front desk staff on duty said they had no record of the issue, offered no solution, and said there were no rooms available to move me. I was also told that I should have stayed during business hours to make sure the repair was done, which is unreasonable. A hotel room without a working shower is not acceptable, especially after the problem was reported and acknowledged earlier in the day. No alternative was offered. It was not as advertised….the rooms did not look like the pictures, it didn’t look clean, stains on the sheets, toilet was dirty, just disgusting. We had arrived late to the hotel around midnight I think, I went to the front desk and the gentleman named Tony was so helpful, he genuinely apologized and showed me 4 other rooms, which we decided on one of those rooms, because again we didn’t have any where to go at that time of night…next day, Miami was hottt, I looked around the room for the thermostat to turn on the air conditioner, there was NOT a thermostat in the room so I called the front desk in the afternoon (it was NOT Tony I spoke to unfortunately) to ask them to please turn on the air because it was hot and sweating bullets, the man tells me they can’t turn on the air until it reaches a certain temp outside in Miami, LIKE WHAT!!!! it’s HOT outside, this Miami …so we sweated profusely for 4 days…. When we checked out it was like 3am, Tony was at the desk and asks me am I ok because sweat was just pouring down, I explained what I was told by the other guy, and Tony was so appalled and apologetic of that situation and said he would speak to management. I will say Tony (overnight front desk clerk) definitely went above and beyond to accommodate us, I truly appreciate all the help he offered. He made our stay in Miami a little better and I appreciate him.

You know you're in trouble when you're told that the elevator doesn’t work. Then everywhere you look you see shoddy workmanship. I walked with much trepidation to my room and was greeted with something that looked much like a college dorm room...sans the king sized bed. The floor had an abundance of sand and the overall cleanliness was mediocre at best. The walls were also so thin that I could hear clearly hear the couple next door who were apparently having a really good time. The only redeeming thing was the comfortable bed. That said, if I was going to create a tag line for this hotel, it would be: Traveled all day? Dog tired? We have a bed.

Had a 6 night stay, housekeeping ONLY emptied one trash can. Never once did they bring towels or sheets. I had to go down to the front desk for them. The 3rd time I asked for towels, I asked for one extra (3 total) for two people. The man at the front desk was extremely rude saying they only give one per person and there was no towels allowed on the floor for exiting the shower into the tile even after the slip issues we addressed. On the 3rd day our key (only gave us one) didn't work. I went to the front desk again asking for two keys this time, he was obnoxiously rude telling me my phone will deactivate the keys no matter how many he gave me. I explained to him the key was in a wallet so the phone was not the issue. He told me I needed to adjust my attitude and I would be treated better, yelled at me in Spanish, and proceeded to say nasty things to me as I walked back up stairs. We did not expect anything more then what we paid for with a small low rating hotel. But to have to ask for towels washcloths bathroom paper and soap to wash our hands with on the first day along with a non working fridge and a shower curtain that was spotted black with mold was even close to ok. Even with several requests we never got housekeeping unless we did it our selfs and never had any cleaning to the shower curtain or the room in general.

If it’s not the Loudest AC in the USA keeping you awake at night it’s the upstairs room sounding like a stomp-a-thon with every step. The “available parking” consist of 10 spots for a 50 room hotel that IF available will cost you $30 a day , if they’re not available you then have to pay $40 PER VISIT to park in the parking lot next to the hotel . He was nice, but it was a creepy sight. Someone kept trying to (unsuccessfully) open my door while I was in the room as well. The one plus is, being between California and NYC, i found their vending machine prices to be very reasonable. but overall i cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anybody. It may work if you are a young man trying to save some money, but women or families should not stay here. I have learned my lesson about booking a cheap stay. And with the hidden fees, this was not so cheap in the end.

Didn’t have hot water in first room so was suggested to go to another room. They did make that easy however the lock was wonky. I had to go back and fourth about 3 times for it to work on the first night. The problem persisted on the second night. Towels and bedding smelled dingy in both rooms and there were stains on everything. If this was a last resort like it was for me then you deal with it but I did end up getting my own towels and sheets. I’ve experienced about 4 people that work there and the only person that was the most helpful was the evening manager. He knows a lot. Not sure if he was the manager but he presented that way. Thank you to him!

I came to the notebook for my birthday weekend and I wasn’t pleased. We arrived to check in and went up to our room with an occupant in it. We were told to wait and they checked everyone else before helping us then proceeded to tell us they didn’t have any rooms. Multiple people complained about not having any towels and it just seemed unprofessional and unprepared for new guest. The manager was very nice and made sure we got our full refund upon the inconvenience and made sure we were reassured about the issue. Aside from the manger being polite I just had a feeling of not wanting to stay as I seen other people complaining after the math of them checking in. It’s $40 a day for parking and there’s minimal street parking and very inconvenient. Just seems a little unorganized and not put together.

Well that place is a health hazard, elevator is from the 1960's and when I got there, I was told it worked but it being stuck isn't my definition of working, the A/C is a vent that flows constant "cool" air, the shower is functioning however, hot water is more like luke warm if you can get the knob to turn all the way, slippery stairs and at 3 am we woke up to two men fighting. Walls are paper thin and the sheets and pillowcases are all stained. You have to ask for a towel and is you get two they won't match. It has to be hands down the worst experience, oh and parking is 30 dollars a day. I have pictures, recordings and the fact I called front desk to defuse the situation in the room next door, I would like a full refund

    1. Refrigerator not working: I reported this to the front desk upon check-in, but nothing was done to address the issue. I was simply told “it’s okay” and that they would make a note of it, without offering a replacement room or any accommodation. 2. Broken and leaning table: The glass table in the room was bent and unstable, creating a clear safety hazard. 3. Unclean toilet: The toilet was visibly dirty upon arrival, indicating a lack of proper housekeeping and sanitation. 4. Mold on shower curtain: The shower curtain had visible mold and mildew, which poses a serious health concern. 5. Loose and damaged shower knob: The shower handle is nearly detached and feels like it will fall off at any moment. 6. Peeling and chipping bathtub: The bathtub surface is deteriorating, with paint and coating peeling off during use. 7. Unsafe light switch near water: There is an uncovered or poorly installed light switch next to the bathroom area that could be dangerous if it comes into contact with moisture. 8. Water damage and odor: The pictures on the wall are peeling, and there appears to be moisture damage in the room, accompanied by a strong, unpleasant stench in the hallways. I have attached photos documenting each of these issues for your review.

We got there by 3pm 10/25/25 they said we needed to wait till 4pm to check-in. We walked a bit and went back to the hotel @ 4pm.No one at the front desk. People just waiting around the small lobby. A female guest started to scream at another guest who spoke little English just because he told her to “shhhh” after she kept speaking over him saying she has been here longer that anyone at the lobby. When it was our turn, we were told a $100 deposit was to be made and that we will get it 24hrs after the check-out. We checked out at 6:50pm Sunday 10/26/25 and still haven’t received it back. It’s 10/31. We enter the room and the duvet has coffee and blood stains. We turned on the tv and it was broken. I went to the front lobby to ask if anything could be done about it. The older man now tells the other guy at the front desk in Spanish that who does he charge the broken tv to, me or the person before? I said quickly “not me, I just got here and I’m showing you I got a room with a bad tv”. They switched our room but in the other room the bed frame was broken and you could barely fit in the bathroom. The curtains are not “blackout”. The mini fridge dirty. Thank god I brought my own towels and sheets because the towels in the bathroom had hair and stains, blood on them. Pubic hair all over the bathroom. I stayed here with my kid. Won’t be doing that again. This place is more for drunk college kids that don’t care where they sleep, just party. You can hear everything next door.

Also the next day I asked the receiptionist to send someone to clean my room and give me new towels but when I came back around 4 pm my room wasn't cleaned and I got no towels. I went downstairs and told them about my request and that it wasn't cleaned, the staff still didnt do anything about it. For cheap price I guess thats what you paid for. The bed was clean enough but then they didnt provide any blanket so I had to go downstairs and asked for it. and the blanket was little damp so I couldn't use it right away. I lay it down in the other bed to make it dry completely. The bathroom wasn't too cleaned as well. there were mold on the curtain and it was ripped. there were no towel or drying mat on the floor in the bathroom and they just provided half used paper towel. Like they were not serious in the hotel business. Poor management and poor customer service even tho 1 of the staff was really nice but the others weren't so much. Do not stay at Miami Beach because it was too quiet for my taste and limited things to do at night other than bar and restaurants. the beach was empty around 7pm and like it was dark until 5 am.

I asked the front desk more than twice what the deal with Parking in the streets is and he gave me wrong information and I was issued a parking ticket of $36. And then at 9:00am I began paying for parking for little time before leaving. Everything else was as expected except there were 0 towels of any kind. it's an older place also FYI. The first room I was assigned was terrible and the door would not close. I took a picture of the door because it seemed as if someone tried breaking in to the room with some kind of tool. The second room was grossed. I walked in and walked right out. The bed had a stained liner, there were no linens and the bathroom was dirty. The third and final room was ok. I do not recommend this hotel. I was able to get the front desk attendant to smile a bit but it took some work.

Checking in, I had to wait quite awhile because anottrr guest was waiting at the desk for his new room because someone was already in the room he was given. When desk clerk sorted that and was able to help me, I was checked in, went to room, and it hadn't been cleaned from guest. So I was assigned a different room. Room was passable. Except the quote old shower curtain / rod simply would not stay up (old fashion tension kind...but no tension). Mentioned it to downstairs staff as I was heading out for a day... The rooms? Think "chic" meets "shabby"—but without the chic. Dirty carpets, peeling paint, and furniture that looks like it moonlights as props for a horror movie. The service? Non-existent. You'd have better luck getting a response from a ghost than from the staff here. And the amenities? What amenities? If you're lucky, you'll find a fridge that works and an air conditioner that doesn't sound like it's auditioning for a role in Transformers. The whole experience is like stepping into a time machine—except instead of going back to the glamorous Art Deco era of Miami Beach, you land in a rundown motel from the 80s. The only thing "timeless" about this place is the regret you'll feel for booking it.

Property is fine for the price but customer service was very poor and even worse than I could have imagined. I wasn’t expecting much for the price in Miami Beach area… but customer service matters more than anything else in the hospitality industry

Avoid at all cost. The pictures don’t match reality. The room we got was very filthy and could not stay. Had to book somewhere else. Alex the receptionist was very rude and toxic. Got very defensive. Acted very shady. Shower didn’t work. no trash can. Stains everywhere in the bathroom, they tried painting over some stains, toilet bowl, bath tub so disgusting. Avoid! At your own risk.

We were in Miami for surgery. When we arrived early we knew we wouldnt be able to check in until 4 but we went in to see the possibility of getting in early. Strict no early rule. The front desk clerk (young man) barely acknowledged us on entry. We asked about a parking pass which he had to find one to write on. Parking is $30 extra each day but less than alot of the other hotels. Once we were able to check in after making us wait until 4 pm, the room had no hand soap, no towels, no washcloths, no blankets, and no comforter on the bed. When we asked the night desk attendant for assistance he looked up over his glasses and acted like it was a bother he said no towels are available at the moment and they didnt have any blankets or comforters. We went back later for towels and were given 2 beach towels and 2 extra sheets for the night. The air is not adjustable in the room - so dress warm at night. We had to go to Target to buy a comforter for the bed. Any question to the desk staff seemed like a huge hassle. Our check in was Sat our scheduled check out Friday no housekeeping until Thursday. The hotel itself was fairly quiet, clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the air definately works and it is super close to the beach.

Despite multiple complaints every day, no action was taken. I asked to switch rooms numerous times and staff stated the hotel was fully booked. I was forced to change the dirty sheets myself after being given fresh sheets by the first desk. The staff were unprofessional. Could you believe me asking for room service my entire stay they never came to clean the room, nor address any complaints. I was ignored by the management, who refused to speak with me directly, and I developed a severe rash due to the unsanitary conditions. The hotel’s negligence and the manager have a complete disregard for guest safety and hygiene is shocking. I was offered a refund of my daily hotel fee only by the manager which is insulting. I want to warn others to avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s a health hazard Do not stay here!

Cleaning lady tried to turn my door down at 10:28am yelling "checkout" Room key never worked. Bathroom soap couldn't be any smaller. Parking was a mess and expensive. I heard a noise all night long that sounded like something/someone was trying to open my door. Power outlets were detached from the wall. I requested a late check-out, at first it said it was $25 extra, but it was twice as much... $50, and again the cleaning lady was kicking me out and also a gentleman knocked my door asking why was I still there. I guess I got what I paid for, but next time will do my best to find a better place in many ways. I strongly recommend not to book this hotel

It wasn’t just that it wasn’t very clean, let the people that worked. There was not very friendly to people that did not look like them. But the owner was the worst borderline disrespectful.

There was a wad of hair in trash can. No remote. When I asked for one at the front desk they said I would have to ask someone else in the morning. No hand towels, said they were out, then found one. It was so hot in the room, no thermostat to adjust the temperature. Our friends accidentally booked their stay in the wrong month, a month away, plenty of time to rebook, and the hotel still refuses to refund any of their money.

Don't be fooled with the photo they post. We saw that this was rated a 5 out of 10, and we have rated it a 1, just because it provided a bed, a roof over our heads and running water. We booked this hotel with another couple for a quick stay before our cruise departure. Our friends arrived first and were met with a very rude guy at the counter. There was no early check-in, so they asked if they can pay and park on the property. They were told no, even though there were several spots available. BTW, the parking fee is $30 and there are not enough spots for all hotel guests. If you leave and there is no spot available, you're out of luck. We had our own check-in nightmare with another rude employee also. The 2 rooms we stayed had the bare minimum. Our friends' room didn't even have a bed cover or towels! When they asked for a cover, someone came up with a wadded up comforter that had cigarette holes in it. Both rooms had 70s wallpaper and old beds, and nothing matched. The ceiling vents were filthy in the bathrooms, and there was very low water pressure. My friend went down to the lobby early the next morning to read and have coffee. An employee came in around 6:30am and scolded her for turning on the lights! She said "the owner doesn't want the lights on before 7:00"! Couldn't believe it. Terrible experience. You get what you pay for.
