Our stay was very pleasant. Better than I expected. Location was great. The room was clean and the staff very nice.

Beautiful welcoming hotel, the staff was very welcoming and great customer service. The resort is amazing with beach access. Happy hour had a great selection on the menu. Breakfast was delicious.

bed and check in process were ok hotel is disgusting, my room was moist, no ventilation, water coming ghrough the window cracks (window could not be opened) the bathroom had mold, also mold on the pillows int he pool area. Then to top it up they were drilling on top of my room during the day so I got no rest. I checked out one day before my expected checkout time and stayed somewhere else

Pool No fridge and microwave is in the room. Did not have a clue because would have purchased it at all. The air wasn’t getting cold either but I deal with it.

Property is in a nice location with private beach access. Unfortunately the thermostat in our room was not moving below 75. We called for maintenance who came and checked, said it should be good and left. But the room never cooled. Outlets in the bathroom did not work either. I went down to the desk this time and I was asked if I can move rooms. I agreed that was fine. Due to my party size I booked a double queen room. What they sent me to instead was a smaller room with only double beds. Rather than make a big fuss I said I will see if they’ll do anything about this in the morning. Please note: I did shorten my stay with this hotel by one day. They approved the shortened trip. The response I got back from staff was that because they allowed this modification(I knew it was possible they wouldn’t and I was fine with that) that I should consider that my discount for having to settle for something that wasn’t what I’d booked. Their failure to provide the expected quality isn’t negated because you felt like these two wash out. They don’t. You still owe it to the customer to provide quality service that they have in fact paid for. And when you don’t, you compensate for that.

Room was small but it was clean. Very noisy and you can hear everything. The view was of construction as they are doing work next door. Other than that it was alright.

The worse part of this hotel is the paper thin doors. You hear your neighbors come home at night. Hear talking in the hall. Dooors open and slam - every night people in halls yelling or laughing and waking us up! They need to fix that as it makes me not want to book here again.

The place is dirty, the staff is lackluster and everything is dated and faded.

We had a wonderful time here! Great staff and pool/beach area. The only bummer was the seaweed in the ocean, but Marseilles can't help that. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

I took my husband for his birthday and his friends went. We spend the whole day at the pool, we had a blast and everyone was so nice and very professional. The room was clean and pretty.

Really liked the heated swimming pool, decor and the location. The signature rooms are pretty small.

Front desk staff was amazing. Hotel was very clear and has a great smell when walking in lobby. Backyard area was top notch. This hotel hit all needs for relaxation and a turn up when needed.

Love the pool and beach clean hotel overall. Bar staff in the hotel itself not too attentive. Waited about 10-15 to get a seat to eat lunch was not even busy all tables empty never greeted. Ending up leaving to a different location to have lunch.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The rooms are nicely appointed. The public areas are well maintained. Access to the beach was quick and easy. Close to the main part of South Beach with a short walk.

The location was good. The pool was always very crowded. The hotel was loud. The air conditioner did not work well. My room was across from the elevator and it was very loud. The rooms are very small, especially for 2 people. The bathroom was tiny. The free drinks were a joke. The pool staff were very attentive and nice.

They are small, dingy and poorly maintained as compared to Marriotts or hiltons at the same price. We felt that the price did not justify the rooms.

The location was awesome and the backyard area and beach club was great. The room was really small and right next to the staff room I think or noisy guests or both. There was construction outside so the view was AWFUL, I asked to change when we got there and they had no other rooms available. The 2nd night we literally got zero sleep because the doors slamming all night long. It was the worst night sleep I have ever had in a hotel that I paid this much for.

Great stay, right on beach/walking path. Self parking very close! Pool was nice and attendant came around with frozen towels! Very nice treat in the hot sun!

Unfortunately,hotel did not serve food or drinks in the lobby after 8pm and the backyard outdoor area also closed at 8pm.

Access to the beach and the included chairs/umbrella is plus! Rooms are average, definitely older nothing too special. Staff at the front desk and Julian at the beach were amazing. Breakfast - good.

The location of the hotel on Collins was perfect, near restaurants and shopping. There was a pool and a hot tub and beach access. the resort provided chaise lounges and umbrellas at the beach. Loved the free cocktails during happy hour!

The rooms are outdated, small, and a bit smelly. The aircondition works when it want to work. The beds are small and not very comfortable. Same with the sunbeds at the pool. The elevator work when it want to work, and halfway through our stay the poolheater gave up! But the staff did their best to make us feel good and that is the reason for the score

Ocean front , happy hour drinks were amazing:-) backyard territory was so cute Old rooms, you can’t bring your own drinks or sandwiches to outside sitting areas , only order food and drinks at the bar. ( they don’t have huge variety of options)

We love the location on the beachfront excellent looking building inside and out. Great staff. No actual on-site parking, but they did have parking around the corner about half a block away, which worked out well enough. It could use a bathroom fan.

(Maybe this is normal for Miami Bch- this was my first time here so not sure if normal/average) Water pressure very poor, I could not wash my hair. Glad we only stayed one night.

The air conditioning was central and very loud, so we didn’t have the option to turn it off in the room. Also the hot water at the bar was 1 dollar. Again, not the tea, just hot water. I never experienced that in other hotels. It was a baby in the room next to mine and for 2 nights in the row I woke up at 4 am because of the baby crying.

Crumbs in the bed , big cockroaches in the bathroom, The hot wasn’t hot , told the daytime supervisor, and he told my husband that wasn’t true , and didn’t believe us , had my husband go back to the room to prove the hot water works . Phone didn’t work to call front desk , about issues that was occurring, my husband had to go downstairs to the front desk . Hotel is 0/10

Miami is scary with booking. You never know if the pictures is the same experience in person. Hotel was very nice. Room was nice. Service was great. The outdoor pool was amazing. My only negative is the hot tub didn't work. But the beds hut in the water was beautiful.

Also, the bathroom was very small, uncomfortable, and tight. I dropped my deodorant in the toilet and had no space for my toiletries in the bathroom. The bed only had one nightstand with acess to a plug. It is a small hotel overall.

I really hated that resort closes at 8pm also there’s no way to warm up food. I asked if there was a way I could warm my breakfast up and was told there was no microwave on the property

It was a very nice day. I enjoyed myself being so close to the beach and was able to get two beach chairs with an umbrella, which is such a place.

It's a beautiful hotel! The second you step into the lobby entrance, there is a nice floral fragrance that greets you. My only take back, is that there is no laundry facility anywhere to wash your clothes. The rooms are not soundproof at all. You can clearly hear people walking just outside your suite as well as someone using the bathroom next door. I was in a King Suite Ocean View bedroom. And I was able to hear talking, footsteps, and other noises outside in the hallway, and across the other suite. Overall, the hotel is nice, but there need to be some adjustments with the building.

Parking was full by the time we checked in and had to park in parking garage, was not happy about this at first but it really worked out fine, took an uber back and the cost was less than the parking would of been at hotel even with short uber ride to parking garage. We are already planning a return.

The hot tub was out of service for our entire stay. Rooms were dated and had signs of use even the suite we had. Pictures deceiving on the ocean front balcony it was a 3x3 concrete slab hanging out the side of the 7th floor felt uneasy it was so small. The staff was excellent they brought us a bottle of bubbly for our honeymoon and the backyard area staff was awesome as well as the pool staff. Pool closed at 8 most of the week and 10 on weekends with the hotel not really having much to do it would of been nice to have a pool open later. The food during happy hour is amazing even tho not many choices very good. Overall nice stay but would of paid more for more at another hotel. Clean property nice staff.

The hot tub was out of service for our entire stay. Rooms were dated and had signs of use even the suite we had. Pictures deceiving on the ocean front balcony it was a 3x3 concrete slab hanging out the side of the 7th floor felt uneasy it was so small. I rated 4 overall based on value. I felt the double-rooms were large but cramped for three people due to limited storage and layout. Also, a small negative from the bartenders.

I love that there is beach access with free use of beach chairs and umbrellas. Free drinks from 5-6 pm and happy hour from 6-8 pm. The pool was great and there's another side where you can take fabulous photos in the water. The staff was friendly and responded quickly when a request was made. There are tons of restaurants, pharmacies and bars within walking distance.

The location was perfect. It seemed a little overpriced for what we got and the rooms had zero soundproofing. The staff was great though and it was very clean.

Overall was good value for money. Outstanding location.

We stayed here for one night after our cruise and everything was perfect. Not too far from Port and an easy drive to the airport in the morning. The beach is a right there and they have chairs and umbrellas. The pool area was clean and well maintained. We had lunch by the pool and enjoyed everything! The pool attendant was very nice and helpful. We loved our stay here and we will be back next time we are in Miami.

Amazing Hotel! Amenities are great, the rooms are clean and the location is perfect! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! I have stayed at Marseilles with family and also with friends. It never disappoints and it becomes everyone's designated hotel in the area!

Online description is not what you get at the property. Dirty patio furniture. Outdated rooms and furniture. Beds are hard, unpadded. Paper thin walls. Housekeeping slamming door to door whole cleaning. Crowd is questionable.

Loved the easy access to the beach. We didn’t have to walk on the street. Would have loved to have dressers in the room, a writing pad and ice station on every floor. Other than that, a great time was had by all.

Near great restaurants, staff really friendly. Loved everything about it!

All the staff were very friendly and the outside area (pools, bar, games, beach) were incredible! The biggest flaw for this hotel was the room noise. The walls and sound were THIN you could hear everything in the hallways clearly and their rooms all have a vent on the door which didn’t help. Besides that great location and was near a lot of restaurants.

Do not purchase parking here. I left the property for the day and when I came back, there were no spots left. I went back and forth with the front desk and they said there were spots. I couldn't find any. Horrible way to end an evening on Miami Beach. You would be better to UBER or LYFT if you want to get around this part of Miami. Parking in general is horrendous. Traffic is worse. Overall hotel was ok.

If the staff had been friendlier I could have given a higher rating. The pool waiter was very friendly and worked hard all day with a smile.

Endless construction next to the pool, tiny bathroom, cheap rooms. But the staff is lovely and the lobby and backyard are nice.

We loved the services of excellent staff. It’s a nice hotel. Great beach access and service there too. Don’t like the loud music. Had to leave the pool. Beach was a lovely option. Really be much nicer with no music in the outdoor spaces as people bring their own. Or maybe ambient music.

They wake go back three times to use my door keys and not even one apologize was Recieved.

After dropping off my luggage, I encountered Axel on the beach, whose local insights and exceptional service enhanced my stay even further. The hotel’s signature coconut drink, freshly served by the courteous Hunter, provided the perfect refreshment and a taste of true hospitality. Dining and relaxing in the bar area, I had the pleasure of meeting Clarissa, Florencia, and Kiara. Their friendly and professional service added an extra layer of comfort to my meals. However, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly my time with Daniela, who made every interaction feel like being in a paradise home—her warmth and exceptional service were truly memorable. Finally, as I checked out, Julian, Bruno, and Melina wrapped up my stay with utmost professionalism and class, leaving me with nothing but high praise for the entire team. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit, eager to relive this extraordinary experience.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for the price and we would stay there again.

The room was clean and nice. Overall we loved the place. But wish there wasn’t so much noise. There was construction directly next to the hotel/ pool area. Drilling all day long. To the other side of the hotel there was another hotel that had very loud music on all day and night.

GREAT location. Far away enough to get a goodnight’s sleep, but walking distance to everything. We chose this hotel for that reason and bc the beach is the backyard, right across the boardwalk; no streets to cross. Sadly, long-term construction underway next door, but the hotel offers free cocktail hour for this reason. Bring earplugs. Windows were dirty, likely due to construction , but washing was underway on our check out day. Staff is so sweet & accommodating. Safe hotel and area; many officers on the street for your safety. Crepe stand on the premises; I believe on weekends only. Coconut standy on beach. Jet ski rental fee hotels down. Restaurant was very tasty. Many places to lounge, read and relax, as well as small activities to stay busy (corn hole, connect four). Great for couples, family, friends, even solo vacationing. Citibikes nearby. wished they had the hammock up as pictured. Beautiful premises. Rooms-small but clean…only negatives: wish bathrooms had fans and the beds larger pillows.

We had a great day, but what really made her stay wonderful were all the kind and caring staff who took the best care of us. Bruno, Elizabeth and Melina come to mind but honestly everyone who was there was very helpful, professional and courteous many thanks!

The hotel has a central location in Miami Beach including have beach access directly behind the hotel. Nearby great restaurants and very close to the Lincoln Mall.

Beach attendant is very rude and got in an argument with me and few other people while I was at the beach for about an hour. The rest of the stuff was pretty friendly, good location. The paid parking is located a block away from the hotel on the other side of the street, it would be nice to know that before you book. Hotel is pretty old and has bad insulation, you can hear people walking by and next door. Air conditioner was broken and kept the temperature at 61-65 degrees.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel staff was amazing and friendly. The beach was across the bike path and you received a voucher for 2 chairs and an umbrella each day. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and good! When we visit Miami again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is old and one feel it. My room needed serious renovation (paint peeling in bathroom, old furniture…). I was there march 2025, you need to know that they are at the beginning of building a hotel right next door, so the pool area is noisy.

Great. Hidden little hotel. The construction next door was a little challenging. Otherwise great experience. Only limitation is that the pool closes and locks at 8pm. It would be nicer to get to the outside hot tub a little later in the evening.

Good experience, the room was nice and property was nice. There was only one elevator working. And hallways could be nicer but overall all it was a good experience.

On our first night, there was a group of drunk people who was knocking on our door. It startled us and didn’t make a call as we were scared that we could be heard from outside. We are pretending that nobody is inside the room. The drunk guys stayed in the hallway for a long time so didn’t bother to call. The next morning at 9:00am another knock on our door. This time it was the housekeeping. Told them that we are not checking out and even if we do it’s not 11:00am yet to checkout! Called the frontdesk and they don’t seem to be bothered. Did bring up again when we were in the lobby. Again seems that Frontdesk are not even bothered with the scary night well experienced and the housekeeper bothering us. No point of stressing as they seem to not care. Room is so outdated and the faucet is not even working properly/broken. I don’t bother to report as they only brush off any concerns. Won’t come back in this hotel at all. It was a mistake to stay in this hotel. I should have stayed in South Gates by Hilton instead which I always enjoyed my stay. I chose this for it’s location and pool amenities. Other than that, no special thing. Not worth of money. Stay away!

Hotel is a great location but it was next to a massive construction project that looks to have a few years remaining as it is just in the demo phase. Our room was next to the elevators which are noisy because the building is so old. There are vents on the doors and large gap underneath so you can hear basically everything going on in all rooms. great beach access and pool area.

Wonderful stay in Miami. Got passes for the beach (2 chairs and an umbrella) and $1 happy hour. Pool was beautiful and staff were super friendly! Definitely will book again for next year!

Had a nice time. Location was great for fabulous dinning! Also, loved the paved boardwalk behind resort for early morning runs.

All of it was average, one of the 2 elevators did not work, had to walk to the 5th floor sometimes, the room was cleaned only one day out for 4, breakfast and dining was very limited. Overall facilities are outdated. No balconies or patios. The room was fairly big but would benefit from extra chair or at least some table. The only good thing was location - in the beech and close to actions. Reasonably clean.
