Great location on South Beach.

Great stay and the front desk was the best! We were able to check in early and it’s literally right across the street from the beach. It’s a cute place and worked for our needs. They serve breakfast for free with only 3 options but the eggs option was great with potatoes and a protein. Service and great & food came out pretty quickly. Location was perfect with CVS & Walgreens literally down the street. Will definitely come back again!

The location was the only positive part of our stay. The hotel feels very old and overall the quality was not good. The restaurant was always extremely busy with outside customers, and it felt like they cared more about them than the hotel guests. The breakfast was also disappointing, we barely ate anything in the morning.

Across the from Lummus Park and the beach. Excellent location with easy access to restaurants and night life. Modest, boutique style hotel. Check in process was easy, but parking is a challenge. You have to do valet (expensive) or park down the street for approximately $20 - $25 per night in a public parking garage. Our room included breakfast, but there were only 3 breakfast options (American breakfast, Grilled Cheese sandwich, or cereal). If you wanted something different like an omelette, pancakes, waffles, you had to pay for the breakfast. The free breakfast included orange juice or coffee, but they serve you the beverages in small glasses or with the coffee cup partially full so that you order refills at full cost. The first day we had breakfast the male server was fine. The second day the female waitress was very rude and ignored us most of the time.

Unfortunately, the special room had a very bad smell and was completely unusable. It didn’t even have a fan, so the bathroom odor spread into the room. I do not recommend it at all for anyone to stay there; it was very polluted and dirty. It left us with a very bad memory.

The breakfast was good, but not a lot of options. The location was amazing and right off of the beach. The employees there were always kind and welcoming. We overall loved our stay!

The property is in need of an upgrade especially the elevator. The amenities needs to be upgraded there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room so if you have any leftover food or drinks you couldn’t heat them up or keep your drinks cold. You received free breakfast which was a plus but they only gave you 1 piece of toast to go with your food that wasn’t nice. The hotel staff was friendly.

The room looked like only the beds were made but the rest of the room was not cleaned. TV remote was dirty, there was hair all over the shampoo bottles, there was pee in the toilet like someone didn’t flush, and the shower handle would come off as soon as you would touch it.

O breakfast é um voucher que só te dá direito a 1 escolha e mesmo assim é muito limitada, então tive que pagar por fora para ter outras opções. como se o café nao estivesse incluído no “pacote” O hotel precisa de reforma. O banheiro está com coisas quebradas por desgaste usual. visto que está numa posição tão previlegiada em ocean drive, quando buscamos uma hospedagem assim se espera pelo menos que tenha uma boa estética e condições perfeitas para uso não só o quarto mas também o banheiro. E nisso ele é decepcionante, por não ser um valor barato!!! O hotel precisa de uma reforma urgente!!!! Que pena! Porque eu adorei a Posição e a vibe do local!!! Mas na próxima vez opto por outro pela estética e condições de desgaste do magestic!! Espero que possam investir mais nele e aproveitem a posição previlegiada que vocês estão.😘😘

Enjoyed the stay in this boutiquish hotel in spite of sometimes raucous street noise below. Room was comfortable but the bathroom was comically small (seriously!) but things functioned ok, even if you needed to utilize the fixtures sideways. The hotel's valet parking was crazy expensive; we used a city parking garage one short block away (7th and Collins) which had an overnight rate of just $20. The voucher breakfast provided for three basic options that weren't fancy but started the day ok. Note that the voucher includes only one cup of coffee, strictly enforced; no warm-ups. Frankly, we found that really petty in an otherwise pleasant experience. Sidewalk restaurant seating could be windy during our stay; there are tables inside. Note that happy hour two-fer "drink specials" are per person, not to be shared, and are pretty consistent at all properties on the Ocean Drive strip. Aside of a couple of quirks, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Majestic again.

This is the ONLY hotel within the deco district on Ocean drive that includes your breakfast in the morning - and we called all of them! All other hotels charge over $25 extra PER PERSON for breakfast. We loved staying here, and would stay here again in a second! Staff was very helpful and welcoming always, cleaning service comes in every day to make your bed and change out your towels, etc. Located right across from the beach and all activities.

Location near the beach is nice but that's all it has going for it. Way over priced, the place was pretty dirty and extremely rundown. I would not come back here again or recommend it to anyone.

The room had a certain smell, it wasn’t bad but maybe a chemical smell from the cleaning products. Hotel is located in a high foot traffic zone, so just be aware of the noise levels. It’s not the best hotel, certainly not the worst that I’ve stayed in. However, it got the job done for 1 night stay. The air conditioner was on the entire time as well and kept the room extra cool. The entire strip of Ocean drive where this hotel is located is highly convenient with shops, and restaurants. If you were to ask me if I would stay again, personally it’s a no from me, due to the noise level, and the properties condition.

At check in they charged me extra $39 that is stated but it was per day/not stated. Also there is NO parking, You can pay valet quoted to me at check in was $40/day. I paid because I had to but then the valet charged my husband $20 more because he had a truck $60/day for parking!!!!.....NOTHING ABOUT THIS WAS WRITTEN ON THE HOTEL INFORMATION. Also, they automatically charge you a dining fee of 20% at the restaurant and want you to tip on top of that....My thoughts: That IS your tip. The food at the restaurant was good, but pricy. The hallway had dirty linens on the ground all night long till morning outside the rooms. The rooms were extremely dated. The bed was as hard as a rock. Could hardly sleep, and sore all over the next day. The windows of the room were covered with a window sticker so you could NOT see out the window. I opened them.....Ocean view???!!!! NO, IT WAS AN ALLEY VIEW and the only ocean you could see was a teeny tiny bit. The heater did NOT work and it was cold. Very few channels on the TV. This place is a SHAM TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. They lie about everything and rob you blind. Not worth "saving" because with all the hidden charges you ended up paying LOTS of money to stay in a sub-par outdated room. The only good part was the food and walking down the street for gelato for dessert. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The room was really small, you can smell the sewage from the toilet water. The reception was rude. Do stay at this hotel. The restaurant in front is ran by a different group and the food and drinks were great there.

Breakfast was great! Location was great! The rooms could use a little bit of update other than that it was great. I will say, it does get a little noisy at night being on the main drag. But that is to be expected it is not a downfall for the place though.

The gentleman at desk was exceptional. We were there several hours before the posted check in time and he was super polite and accommodated us. He looked and our room was available so he allowed us to check in. While we didn't use the service I did notice that they were holding luggage for people to check out and in. Allowing there patrons to enjoy the beach. We received a voucher for breakfast at the in house restaurant but it only included like 2 things on the menu. But overall it was great.

The only thing I would "complain" about is the noise. It was very loud at night until really late. Staff and other guests. But it is Miami on the strip so just bring your earplugs!

The room was clean when we arrived. The location is great. The breakfast was really good. Big closet. AC worked good but needed on constantly get humid quick in room no ventilation Had to go every morning for clean towels downstairs in PJs. Only cleaned our room once. Very very small room especially for 4 girls trying to get ready. Had to pack every night just to have space. The shower has no pressure. No fan in bathroom have to use window. The plumbing makes a lot of loud noise even wakes us up. We were in first floor very noisy in morning with kitchen and hearing ice machines. Door entry is not always working have to try multiple times. Outlets are loose and chargers pop out constantly. Beds were hard. Pillows were think.

We booked a room with two beds. They would only give us a room with one bed. There was only towels for one person. The door would not lock, the bathroom window kept springing open. There was also a $36 a day resort fee. The free breakfast was limited to three choices.

Tv, shower, phone (we had to disconnect due to beeping) were broken. Thermostat did not work to cool down room. The area is VERY loud until 3:00am.

Great ocean view room! Bring a noise machine, you will hear the thumping music from the bar,expected to and came prepared! You will find great staff members and your favorites! Good food and drinks! With a 20% service fee.. Only 3 floors, after a few days the stairs became tedious, the elevator seems to be out of order for sometime! Over all comfortable and would stay again.

The elevator is completely outdated so if someone leaves the door open you have to go upstairs to bring the elevator to the first floor. Not recommended for people with limited mobility.

Our sheets had both sand and a fake eyelash in them, so we suspected that they hadn't been washed before our arrival. We weren't offered a discount when we showed them the eyelash. The rooms are TINY. Shower handle fell off if not handled very carefully. A lot of outside noise a night. The location is great, right across the street from the beach. Although Miami Beach had a ton of green algae so it wasn't a good beach. The location is in walking distance of many restaurants so that is a positive. This is a hotel for the party scene and not a family.

If you’re looking for comfort, this place ain’t it. Beds are very uncomfortable, and rooms are small. On the bright side. We got a beach view room, and the view was nice! Other than that, you’re not getting anything fancy or comfortable. Beach was 3 mins away. Food down stairs was decent too.

This was a very good stay, affordable and perfect location, restaurant was good, and fun. Very lively environment. I would stay again.

The room was not like advertised, much smaller the only parking was valet which was $50 a night, the bed made so much noise when getting into it or if you accidentally hit the side, there was no refrigerator, and the restaurant in front was so busy that you could barley get your luggage in and out and the staff stood right in the entrance of the doors with their backs turned so you could barley get through. Just an overall very aggravating experience.

Great location. Near restaurants & across the street from the beach. You probably should include a Bio-Hazard suit in your luggage. The bed & towels had mysterious stains that appear biological in origin. The staff was very friendly & the overpriced restaurant was good. If under 30, probably a 5 star experience, if not, look elsewhere.

The property was across from the beach which was convenient. The the bathroom in our room was so small that we had to sit sideways on the toilet. The breakfast was very good.

I am having a hard time getting the refund on my husband's debit card. He did not come so when I checked in, they wanted his card since he paid for the reservation. Since I didn't have it, the said they refunded his card and then changed the entire amount to my card. He has not seen his refund. I may cancel my July 12 stay there if this is not resolved in the next day or two.

Area is very good but the hotel is old and screaming for renovation. The valet parking is slow in response and unreliable. This is bad since there is no other parking option. The noise is terrible and last until at least midnight and beyond. Rooms are extremely small and for us to move around we had to move our luggage constantly

I wasn't satisfied with the bathroom in the room because I don't think they ever clean it. I found 💩 around the toilet and the towels were all torn and stained. Although the bed looked clean, the tables and mirrors were all dirty and dusty. And the valet parking guys scratched my car.

3 stars for Majestic. The pros: the location can’t be beat right on the beach walking distance to anything you could need. The room was clean and an affordable price for the night and they had an elevator for luggage which is rare in older buildings. The cons: a $36 “resort fee” for a hotel whose only amenity is offering beach towels seems really excessive. We didn’t even use parking. But I guess that’s the cost for the location but biggest con was the bed. It was the hardest most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I could feel the support bars and every spring on the super thin mattress. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve had better sleep tent camping in a sleeping bag on the ground. I needed Tylenol in the morning. So maybe bring a mattress topper or just know that’s the trade off for the great location.

The atmosphere was pleasant and it’s a beautiful building. The room has been maintained and staff made sure we had what we needed. We stayed here during the week in hopes that there would be fewer people partying, and that was mostly correct—the last night we stayed someone kept yelling and stomping upstairs. We ate at On Ocean 7 and the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast is an added plus. Although the choice is limited.. the breakfast options were good. Also the price of breakfast through the restaurant.. On the Ocean.. is very affordable

The property is located right on South Beach - just a couple of doors down from the Scarface Hotel (Colony Hotel). Room was clean and worked great for us - bathroom was small, and shower was narrow, but everything was adequate, and the price was right, considering the location. The on-site restaurant was great! Easy access to the beach for fabulous sunrises, and sunsets over the city.

Wasnt looking for upscale hotel, so it was what i expected. Room was clean, breakfast was a real breakfast and not a bagel. Food is great at the restaurant at location. Next to a cvs, public parking garage that was only 20 a night and right on the strip. Perfect for what i wanted

I wasn't expecting too much from this property but did not expect what I experienced either.. I new rooms were tiny which i was ok with, but the bathroom was smelly and lack of ventilation ... we really had hard time staying inside the room. the location is the only plus.. remember that if you have child, they will charge you $10 per child per day which was not mentioned anywhere.

Location was amazing! Across the street from the ocean and beach. The room is extremely dated, bead was rock hard, and very thin blankets. Breakfast was limited and made wrong.

The location is great, in my opinion the only thing missing was a mini fridge and microwave.

The lady that checked us and was super rude. Every time we would ask the question she would check her nut head and roll her eyes. She also took a picture of my debit card and said she needed a copy of it. I asked why and she gave me her phone and told me to take a picture of the manager‘s contact and I did. I thought that was extremely strange because they had already ran my card for the parking and security depositso they had it on file. The room floor was sticky dirty towels were dirty pillowcases on the bed or dirty. We ended up checking out a whole day early due to service.

The hotel overall works the purpose. The only problem was that they put me in a ADA room and they put the towels on a bath chair which I found not great.

The front desk guy was very nice! He remembered us by our room number each time and made sure we had enough towels for the beach. he even went the extra mile to let us borrow the umbrella for the beach. Great location and 70-80s feel hotel.

Left a $ 450.00 jacked in the Room. Nobody found this. I'm willy disappointed.

Highly don’t recommend staying here. When I first went into my room and went to the bathroom to start unpacking stuff I noticed the shower handle wasn’t on and it must’ve fell off when the previous guests stayed. Luckily someone was able to fix it. The second thing was that there were cockroaches in my room and I was mortified with how many I saw within the first 24 hours of my stay. Because I was there during the time of spring break, I was nervous about not being able to switch rooms but luckily the next morning the manager was able to switch me to another room and didn’t have a roach problem in there for the remainder of my stay. The shower pressure wasn’t working well in the new room during the day to the point where there wasn’t any water coming out at all. I have stayed here previously 2 years ago and found everything to be fine making me want to stay there again for this trip to Miami but next time I’ll be avoiding this place.

The front desk wasn’t nice, my son’s hoodie disappeared within a couple of hours of us being there.

Smells bad. Front desk not helpful. We checked in around 6pm and waited for the valet driver in front of the hotel because there’s no instructions that valet parking is at the back of the hotel, Collins Ave, front desk guy kept pointing out the door so my husband had to drive and circle around the hotel from Ocean Drive to Collins and back THREE TIMES and it took 2 hours because it’s spring break and there’s no driver out front so I told the front desk guy that many times and every single time, he was like “there’s no driver? Let me call them.” Like how is he asking me that when I’ve been asking for the driver many times for the last hour? Then when I came back again to ask where the driver is because our car is near the hotel AGAIN (and cars are not allowed to stop even for a minute in front of the hotel), he said “Do you want me to call them?” I lost it! I was very patient with him at first but I felt helpless, nothing’s happening in hours and my husband has been driving around in heavy traffic because of him. I said “I thought you already did because it’s an hour and a half already!” I asked him if he’s okay, he said he’s not high or drunk and that he has anxiety. Til the valet parking guy who speaks Spanish came to get some keys, someone finally was able to actually help me considering there’s language barrier unlike the white guy at the front desk who speaks English but for some reason was not functioning well at work. Too much hassle. Will never stay here again!

I came for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The staff was great, especially Hector. There is plenty to do within walking distance and access to all types of activities within walking distance as well. I say that because driving & parking would be an absolute nightmare. The entire is VERY busy so if you’re looking for a quiet place to sit on the beach & leisurely walk about it’s NOT the place for you because it’s definitely a busy busy place. But if you’re a solo traveler there’s no reason to worry there was a very visible yet non confrontational nor bothersome security presence everywhere you go.

On Ocean7 is a fantastic restaurant with fresh, delicious food.

The shower knob came off in my daughter’s hand when she tried to adjust the water temperature. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. You are really paying for the location which is right by the beach and all the action. The breakfast was tasty too.

Affordable ocean view hotel with access to beach, restaurants and shops. Our room was very spacious and had a wonderful view. Staff wasn’t the friendliest and the breakfast voucher system was complicated and mediocre, but other than that it was a great way to enjoy South Beach.

The room was old and not in a good way. The mattress were as bad as I have ever slept on when I could sleep. the room would go from hot to freezing cold then back to hot all through the night. The bathroom if you can call it that was a converted closet that was so small that when you sat on the toilet you knees would touch the wall in front of you!!!!

Originally had me and my friend in a room that did not lock. Then my friend had to go basically argue for us to get another room because “ all the rooms are booked” but thank the lord he finally said he would give us a beach front room that did lock and we could feel safe sleeping in. And the next day we were never told anything about another guest arriving so it was all a little sketchy just be safe.

Building is art deco probably 100 years old I’m guessing and updates have been done, but there is definitely a funk smell that reminds me of a school gymnasium and a little bit of urine that you just can’t get out of the room. They have an air purifier on the wall and once you’re in there for about a half hour you don’t smell it. You only smell it every time you come and go. If you want a great view And location to the beach and the culture of South Beach, this is a wonderful place to stay and much more affordable than a lot of places along the way. Due to the age of the air conditioning unit, I was pretty much woken up every 3 to 5 minutes as it’s cycled. I’m not a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper so unless you drink a lot, and there’s a lot of alcohol available in the area, you may not sleep so well. I think if you’re a block off, you’re away from a lot of that Distraction. There is a huge amount of cultural food options, which is wonderful. Basically, after once you valet park your car, which I have no idea where it went and they wouldn’t tell us where it goes since they didn’t have an attached parking area. You just walk everywhere.

My rating is based on the roaches we encountered twice in our room and the overbearing noise in the early am , and housekeeping knocking at 7am .

Restaurant was good. Polite and fast service. Nice ocean view room was clean but bathroom is small, no vanity. Only soap, no body lotion or shower cap. Slept well. Beddigs were clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.
