Our favorite mi as Miami beach hotel gorgeous property excellent rooms and staff and pet friendly!!!

Great hotel with rooftop pool. Lovely staff working there. Nothing.

Rooms were fine but the bathroom had issues. First clogged sink and a sliding bathroom door that did not move. These were fixed when we asked. The shower was leaking water into the room though and after every shower we needed to use the towels to wipe the area outside the bathroom.

Room, location, service. I requested and paid for an early check in, as I flew into Miami on a red eye. Suffice to say, I had to wait ages for a room.

Close enough to the beach and they even take you there on a small taxi every 20 minutes. Very well located for the price No breakfast options for a budget, NO FREE WATER IN THE ROOM, I mean, not even a single 600ml bottle. They offer 24/7 free water at the lobby but it is orange/pinaple/lemon infused, and you have to use the plastic glasses they have there. Most of the staff was kind and helpful, but some of them have to work on their customer service skills

Nice pool and room The parking was not included. Left my phone charger in the room and they said I didn’t leave it. I called several times and it was difficult to get through.

Nice staff (reception, restaurant, valet, pool barman, driver, everyone was great!), both room and common areas were clean and cozy. A bit over priced considering it is not close to landmarks nor the beach, the room was overlooking a construction site and you could hear drilling as early as 7 am, balconies are so close (and windows apparently poor) that we had bad smell coming in the room from neighbours smoking outside. Also expect zero flexibility for late check-out, we asked for an extra hour and a half and they would have charged us 150 $.

The hotel is in walking distance to a lot of great places. The complimentary beach shuttle is a great way to get anywhere on south beach.

The room was spacious and in pretty good shape upon arrival, but could have been cleaned a little better. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant. Also, the rooftop pool was exactly as pictured and had a bar which for convenience.

The entrance is not on the street, but built into an alleyway, which can feel a bit creepy at night. The onsite restaurant is only open until 1 pm, and there are no other restaurants immediately close by (a pizza parlor is next door, but dont remember seeing it open). Didn't make it to the pool, but im sure it's just fine, as is the small gym room. Having said all that, the staff is nice and accommodated moving my room from a sad double queen facing the roof to a more spacious king room with a balcony in the alcove (nothing to look at but you do get sun and a place to sit outside). A Ross discount department store is across the street if you forget anything, and the hotel is convenient to the conference centers on Washington - about 12 minutes walk away. There's also a Trader Joe's close to stock up on snacks. The hotel is fine: clean, quiet and reasonably priced due to its location. Just dont expect the Collins Ave/Ocean Drive experience - yah too dang far!

Nice clean room, air conditioning was amazing. Enjoyed relaxing by the roof-top pool under the umbrellas. Restaurants close by too. Balcony is very small but useable. That’s about it. Everything else was good.

My was stay was perfect. The have a free shuttle to take you anywhere on the beach. Breakfast every morning was delicious. The rooftop with pool great lunch and drinks. The staff and cleaning crew amazing. Rooms were clean spacious with balcony area to relax great views. I fully enjoyed my stay and would be comeback again

Enjoyed every moment of my stay. I was able to check in early, the process was seamless. My room was clean, I showered and headed straight to the rooftop pool. There were more than enough spaces to lounge. I found a cozy spot and stayed for hours, ordered lunch and a drink. The food was good ! Drink was better ! Then headed back to my room. Room was spacious enough and the balcony was my favorite part. The bed was very comfy. I was dozing before I even knew what was happening, that’s how comfortable I was. The area is walkable but I didn’t go far just ate dinner at local pizzeria. Staff were very friendly. I will be back.

Staff and room were nice. Improvements to consider- add desk to room. Hard to work from room without one, and there is no business center. Shower water pressure was great, but sink pressure was less than ideal. Valet service fast.

The location was wonderful. Close to many things. The hotel was clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was so many thoughtful amenities like loaner umbrellas and tote bags. The staff could be a bit rude at times.

This hotel is well situated for central areas of Miami Beach. The water is about 10 mins by foot and the shops about 5. There are restaurants to suit all tastes. Miami is a fast moving place with lots of expensive cars that want to be looked at. Interesting for a long weekend.

The room is very clean

Mattress is too soft though. It would be nice to have options. I am surprised that there’s no complimentary water bottle in room.

The hotel is good. The pool area is great. The gym however is way too small and barely any equipments. Also the hotel provides no free bottled water.

Beautiful room with large balcony, close to shopping and dining, wonderful arrival experience and complimentary wine offered to start the stay! Would stay here again !

The room was exactly as described and the pictures represented well. We missed the entrance to the hotel, it sneaks up on you with the traffic. It took us almost an hour to make our way back around the block. Not the hotel's fault but you need to know if you will be arriving during busy traffic times. Look for a dip in the curb with yellow around it. Staff was great and we enjoyed our time, walking to Lincoln Road and visiting some of the Collins Avenue attractions.

My stay was great from start to finish. I was welcomed with complimentary drinks upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and everything was clean and comfortable. Overall, a great experience—I would definitely stay again!

Noisy, street noise and AC noise. Over priced parking on property.

Issues with service. Went to the rooftop to get a snack while waiting for room to be ready. Bar tender/wait person said he was the only one working and if we wanted something it would be a long time! Next luggage never brought to our room had to get it ourselves. Asked front desk at checkout to make change to tip the valet. Was told they have no cash. I said what front desk has no cash? PS there is a bank right next door!

Rooms could use an update there also isn’t any where to hang towels after use. Amenities were fine pool area is great. The King suite with terrace is a bit over priced for what you get.

The room had a small window and not great cell reception. Could also use a evening place for getting a drink/coffee.

Hotel stood out. The roof top has a pool, bar and hang out area. This is a great addition albeit a little noisy being on a road intersection. Nicely located in walking distance of dining options, shops and a little further away to the beach. There is a shuttle service to take you to the beach and other drop off points, dropping send collecting on request. Another great addition is supply of hotel beach loungers, umbrella and towels. The guys there will be happy to move the umbrella around all day to keep you in the shade if you wish.

Severe weather made it to where we could not make it and your hotel would not refund, not great being we had no choice in matter we could not physically get there as we had business matter in Miami. This is too bad as your hotel was full and we couldn't even book another night.

I love Kimpton hotels for being so dog friendly. My pup was as always very welcomed and stayed for FREE that is for me one of the most important things when I travel with him. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back when in Miami.

Excellent location but vallet parking only at the hotel was not known before trip. An extra expense that I did not plan on.

From start to finish, everything was excellent. The service was truly fantastic—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and happy to help. The rooms were clean, bright, and beautifully maintained, and they were able to fulfill all of my requests without any issues. The amenities were great and added to an already comfortable stay. On top of that, the location is perfect—walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and places to explore. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Clean and nice

Great, boutique hotel in Miami Beach. It’s within walking distance to Lincoln Rd and the beach is about 1 mile away. The rooms were great and the shower was really nice! Very nice and helpful staff, especially the valet team.

Balcony was ok due to the birds flying all around trying to eat food left by other families/ guests in neighboring balconies and there was no view other than the construction across the street. The chairs outside were very dirty and when I sat in one I fell through as it was broken. Between the sirens, loud vehicles and construction it was not very peaceful. Pool was beautiful! Room was clean! There should be room in the refrigerator for guests to put their drinks/ snacks that they buy and not be pushed to buy the stuff in the room. The items were very high priced and should not be pushed on thr guests to buy.

Clean room , staff

Pool was comfortably warm and surrounded by lounge chairs, towels provided and restrooms and water fountains were nearby. Shower by the pool was cold water though. There was also a lot of seating on the rooftop to enjoy the views even if not patronizing the bar. Free shuttle to the beach and nearby locations was a great amenity, but I wish it was available during the week not just weekend. E-bikes were a nice bonus that we utilized as well although wasn’t crazy about having to download another app. Either way you can use them as much as you like (1000 times) up to 2 hrs for free. We ride them all the way to Wynwood and back. Staff was nice and they had wine and coffee at certain hours in the lobby for free. No room service was the only disappointment. Used the gym too although couldn’t figure out the tv there. Aside from the shuttle the hotel offers, the free city provided trolley and regular bus stops nearby I would stay here again.

Was charged for taking something from the mini bar (that I did not take!) I found the amenities fees ridiculous for a small pool that closed so early i couldn't use it. The bed was comfortable, and the room had good sound insulation so I slept peacefully. I wouldn't reccommend this hotel because of the high amenity fee and beware of random charges.

Very clean room, very nice view worth a balcony. Is pricey though, if coming for cruising like we were there is cheaper just as good options with nice views. Good stay though and worth it if you want to splurge a little.

Beautiful large clean room over looking the canal. Get a room with the terrace if you can. Staff was amazing. Location is perfect. Bayside is so much nicer than most places on the beachside these days.

Well we showed up early and we were told rudely that check was 4pm guaranteed. We kept checking to see if the room was ready and the answer was 4pm check in guaranteed. At 4pm the room still was ready so we asked what happened to the guarantee? Again rudely she said they were busy. After finally checking in we were to get a free bottle of wine in the room. That showed up 4 hours later after we finally called. They didn’t care at all.

Everything was very clean amazing the only thing I can complain about is the bar at the pool. The guy was very rude, and the bar never seemed to be open when we were upstairs looking for a drink.

We have always enjoyed our stays at ING Hotels. The Kimpton Palomar was no exception. Great location, services everywhere, a great walkable neighborhood. I did wish the bar was open for evening drinks, but that is the only thing I missed. We’re going back to this same hotel after our cruise!

It was a good hotel to stay. I did get a balcony and never went out on it because the floor was gross. They need to do a remodel exterior wise. Everything is pretty clean and sound proof. Wasn’t bad but for the room it should have been cheaper.

The entire staff was so wonderful. In a great location. I would highly recommended.

The property does not provide accurate information via phone. We called three times to confirm deposit and additional fees. The lady and the gentleman (both on 2 separate dates) informed us that the deposit is $150. NOT $150 a DAY! On top of the $45 "Amenities" fee. There was no amenities aside from the pool, which is very small. The balcony is smaller than an apartments. The surrounding areas are filled with homeless people, including the terrible view of the chiropractors office and the liquor store across the street. The walls in the room were dirty as if someone spilled something on them. The bathrooms had not been scrubbed down thoroughly, lighting is not what was shown in pictures. Parking is $54 a day! Park across the street at $2 parking.

My honest opinion I would not stay here again but I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Such a good stay

I briefly was stuck in the elevator with one of the employees on the third floor Saturday afternoon around 4:40-4:50pm. I was able to get out the elevator take the steps down and make another worker aware while the other employee made sure no one got in the elevator until the issue was fixed. The room was lovely and clean, the rooftop furniture could use some cleaning, overall the surrounding area was fantastic.

Nice area. Very convenient location. Chosw this for convenience to the cruise port. Comfortable bed. View was meh but it was just an overnight stay. Rooftop was closed so we didn't get to enjoy that amenity, despite paying a fee for the access. Valet is up to $69/night depending on vehicle size with 24 hour in/out access. Overall a good hotel if your budget permits.

--- During my recent stay, I encountered several concerns that significantly impacted my experience. A $450 hold was placed on my card, and I was later informed I would be refunded. However, I was subsequently charged $40 per day for amenities—charges I was neither made aware of at check-in nor utilized to their full extent. Aside from using the pool once, I wasn’t informed of any other available amenities. Room service was only provided twice during my three-day stay, which did not reflect the standard I expected

Lovely hotel, nice room etc. staff very friendly. Gym is limited but pool area on roof was very nice. Hotel a bit far from convention centre to walk in heat so be aware of same when booking but overall good hotel.

Not on a beach it’s actually a street next to a parking lot Office Depot n a car wash . If ur young need to check for open bottles so u won’t get charged for it

They serve coffee in the morning and everyday it was not hot. Once you add milk it’s like warm at best. This should be an easy thing to fix. Also, very limited tv channel's. No CNN, CNBC. In this day and age just having very basic TV makes no sense I do want to say I was very happy with housekeeping. Going against trend they made up my room every day and made sure I had fresh towels. The most important thing to me is room cleanliness and upkeep. The other stuff is less important but i think having hot coffee would be a good idea.

The property was nice but the city needs to do something about the predetorial towing. Also you pay for parking and they ticketed cars stating you’re in tow way zones is entrapment and predatory it would make a tourist never want to come back again but then they wouldn’t care they charge tourist out of state fees on top of towing they suxk

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The property was clean.and smelled great! The room was a nice size, I would say on the larger size. Did I say how clean everything was ?! Cleanliness is really important to me. I don't want to be skeeved out where I have to disrobe and sleep. The area has great resturants and shopping. You are a 5 min walk to the Lincoln road shopping area! This is a great area filled with major stores as well as art galleries and boutique stores. Loved it. Full of people and eateries. The hotel had a shuttle to the beach. The roof top pool was small cute, but meh. You could hang around and sip a drink if you want to escape your room. It was too hot up there for me, but may work for you. I would stay at the property again.

In the middle of busy roads and not near to beach

The hotel is in a great location and the area is very walkable. It is on two noisy roads though so there's a lot of traffic noise at night. Our room had a big balcony but you wouldn't want to sit out there with the traffic/fumes etc. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast at the cafe was good. Pool area was fine. Didn't try the gym.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind! The amenities were amazing from a beach bag in our room to Denise, the shuttle driver. Kimpton Palomar has thought of everything! I would happily stay there again!

Overall it was a great stay and it exceeded my/our expectations. Staff were friendly, informative, and eager to help. Special thanks to making my/our stay so much fun and memorable is Leonel (Leo), Rooftop Bar Manager, who went over and above in hospitality; Facundo, friendly, dependable Bellman, and Denise, shuttle driver and tour guide who was so warm & friendly, informative and eager to accommodate us by taking us to and from our destinations and sharing her knowledge of tourist areas was a big plus!

I left two pair of eyeglasses in the room, and the staff immediately retrieved and shipped them to me. They went above and beyond. We enjoyed our stay and the courteous staff. Room - clean. Beds - comfy. Walk score - 100. You’ll enjoy your stay.

Easy access to restaurants and the beach.

The staff are SO very nice from the two ladies at the front desk, to the lady that drove us in the little cart to the beach to the nice gentleman manager who poured our happy hour drinks. The bed might be the most comfortable we have ever slept in! The hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside, but there are so many perks and amenities. They also have beach chairs and towels. The rooftop pool is really nice too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Did I mention their bikes? Did I mention there is happy hour

Between one and two stars. The woman who works at the front desk was nice, friendly and tried to address issues. But should couldn’t fix a bad hotel alone. Note to management, remove the slam balls from the gym. The building shaking workout someone was enjoying at 7 am on a Saturday was not really great for the rest of the people in the entire hotel.

Was so amazing. Gave us wine and champagne upon arrival. Check in early even though we arrived 3 hours early. Several luxuries (shuttle to beach) it was down when I was gonna use it but nice to know it was available. Good location, not too far. Staff was so nice and helpful.

All staff were extremely nice and helpful. Amenities were great, coffee maker was brought to room on request, and extra pods provided when requested. Hotel has a free shuttle to the beach, where they provide a chair and towel. Hotel is also in a great location, near stops for the free trolley, and within walking distance to many attractions. They also provide infused water all day, and cool face cloths, coffee in the morning and wine/sangria in the evenings. The rooftop terrace and pool were lovely as well.

This location is just a 5 min walk from Lincoln road, lots of great restaurants surrounding and grocery stores very close. The staff here is amazing, I wish I knew their names!! From cleaning to front desk and valet always opening the doors. This hotel is pet friendly where both of my dogs were welcome and embraced!!! Thank you

While it's not on the beach they do have a shuttle on the weekends and a past that gets two lounge chairs and towels on a very nice beach. Figure about $10 to $15 for a Lyft.

Parking fees are very high, didn’t notice this until we get there.
