The room was clean. We stayed on the second floor and the elevator was broken so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs ourselves. (Mom with 3 young kids) so that was interesting. They did upgrade us to a bigger room which was nice.

We booked for 2 people and had to call twice for a second washcloth. I was surprised that we didn’t have access to a microwave. However, the guy at the front desk was nice enough to take our food and used the housekeepers microwave to warm it. We had a fridge that was packed with drinks and water that belonged to the hotel so there was little to no room for the stuff we wanted to buy to keep refrigerated.

The stay was ok, nothing special. The room itself was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hall had lots of stains and smelled bad. You could tell they tried to cover it up by over using air fresher (which was very overpowering). Lots of little flies; especially in the shower. The bathroom was tiny. The guy at check in was very nice and helpful. There was a lady working another day and we tried to ask her about the rooftop terrace and she couldn’t be bothered to interrupt her personal call and mumbled they didn’t have one. The cleaning ladies were super nice and helpful. The cabanas at the pool were kinda gross with mold and mildew on the bottoms.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The pool was amazing, hotel room always clean and the location is amazing. Super close to the beach and to ocean drive! Would go back a million times. Staff is also super friendly and kind. The only thing I would add on is a bit more variety to the included breakfast options, none of them included something related to meat. That’s all!.

The only thing we liked about the hotel was its location. First of all, the hotel had a very serious staff shortage. The pool was closed and the elevator was broken. Even though we told them we had luggage and the elevator was broken, they didn't change our room. Every morning we had to go to the main lobby to buy tickets for breakfast. The cleaning lady who came to our room every morning only made the bed. For four days, she didn't change the sheets, the glasses, the water, or the coffee. Most importantly, despite staying in many different hotels in 30-40 countries, we have never seen such a poorly serviced hotel. We book our hotels solely through Booking.com, trusting in their services, and this was our first and most serious disappointment. This kind of hotel has made us question our trust in Booking.com.

Location is good Incompetent reception staff. Promised to refund our resort fees due to closure of pool and building works. They failed to inform us prior to this and promised to sort this at check-in. They did not. The receptionist just palms you off. They were laughing and using their phones constantly.

The room is very very basic. It is dated and shows its age. We were there end of May and the pool was shut down ( for repairs??) In addition to the fees paid when booking you will be charged an additional ‘service’ fee on check in-approx 100$ extra for the 2 nights we stayed!! Location is 2 blocks from the beach but would not stay there again.

Good location My flight arrived late at night and they cancelled my reservation because I didn’t check in at 4pm o’clock, claiming no show and lost money due to non refundable pre payment policy. After arguing with the staff to fix the issue and reactivate the reservation, they assigned us a room in the 4th floor but the elevator were not working which is very inconvenient to carry 5 bags and my elder parents which cannot climb stairs. They accommodated my parents in another building in a ‘1st floor’ accessible only by stairs again elevator there was not working either. The stairs at my building stink very bad like weed and there was multiple bags with trash on the hallway at all times. The biggest deception was that we picked this hotel for the pool and that was also out of service. None of this situations with the broken elevators, rooms accessible only by stairs and pool out of service were disclosed prior to our arrival, if we had known beforehand we definitely wouldn’t stay there.

Upon arrival, the front desk experience was disappointing. The staff member appeared occupied on her phone and did not acknowledge us until we had been standing at the desk for some time. During a previous stay, the security deposit was $50; however, this time I was informed that the deposit had increased to $150. I could not find any information regarding this change on the website, in my booking confirmation, or in any pre-arrival communication. When I politely asked for clarification, I did not receive a clear explanation. Regardless of personal feelings, guests should be able to ask reasonable questions and receive professional and informative responses. Additionally, the pool was empty during our stay, and there was no prior notice of this on the website or during the booking process. Had this information been provided beforehand, it would have helped set appropriate expectations. To make matters worse, an additional charge of $11 appeared after checkout, despite the fact that we did not use or consume any items from the room. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency, communication, and customer service throughout this experience left a negative impression. Based on this stay, I do not plan to return in the future.

Excellent position in Miami Beach, 5min walking by the beach and the main streets (i.e Ocean Drive, Licoln Rd, Espanola Way). The Staff was friendly and making sure everything was good. The room was cleaned daily with great effort from the Housekeeping. Awesome and spacious outdoor gardens where you can chill on the sofas, chairs, take the sun and enjoy the pool. I'd definetly recommend it for your stay to enjoy Miami Beach & the nightlife. The only bad points I'll point out will be the AC in the room which was kind of noisy while sleeping at night & the service at the restaurant for the breakfast that was slow, also had to look for the waiters a couple times before getting their attention.

Fantastic location, comfortable bed, extremely clean. The only complaint is the bathroom is EXTREMELY small and cramped, which makes everything you do in there a little awkward. No shelf in the shower, either, so you end up storing all your shower stuff on the floor. Also, no good places to hang wet clothes or towels, which isn’t ideal in a city that’s all about getting in the ocean and pools.

Overall, my stay here was not bad. It was very convenient, very close to the beach. Great bar, and great staff!!! The pool definitely needed a little more cleaning. Also the rooms were not the best. Our sofa bed was a dirty and we did see a roach in our room. But overall, it was a pretty good stay. Would rate overall a 7/10 if you’re looking for somewhere to just stay for the weekend and not be at the hotel for majority of your time.

I had a bad experience at the Kenmore Hotel and do not recommend. It all started with check-in where they did not accept apple pay for payment. Second, the reservation was changed to another name and they did not see that change in the system trying to convince that the change was not made but I screenshot the proof of the change made through Expedia. Lastly, I did not get my deposit back even though I was informed it would take 3-5 days. I do not recommend this place and will continue to speak of my bad experience at this hotel to ensure that others hear about this dreadful experience.

The hotel was nice and clean ! The problem was with Expedia I cancelled my 2 room reservation on Wednesdya night and just wanted the 2 rooms for Thursday night only ! What expedia did was cancel only 1 of the rooms for Wednesday and when we did not show the Hotel cancelled the whole reservation ? Luckily the Hotel had openings so we booked the rooms back what we wnated to do was stay tehre 2 rooms for Thursday ! This is my 3rd time dealing with Expedia on changes and they screw it up every time ?

This has been my favourite place to stay in South Beach. It’s very near Ocean Drive and all the cool art deco hotels. The properties really well maintained the restaurants nice and the pool is excellent. Staff were really friendly and accommodate.

This was a fantastic stay in the heart of Miami Beach ... we would totally come back. Conveniently located to just about everything. The only small drawback was that the elevator was out in the building that we stayed in, so we got the European experience. The front desk could use a bit of extra support at times as well, but otherwise it was great!

The pool, bar, outside sitting area, the staff and location are amazing but the room itself was not so much. It was a pretty big room but it was SO hot, it has a water cooler and we had it the coldest it could get and it was almost impossible to sleep because it was that hot at night, there’s no ventilation in the room so that doesn’t help, the water in the shower barely comes out, there is no phone in the room, no WiFi password. If we needed anything we had to go to the lobby to ask which is fine but it’s not when it’s late at night. Also the room above us you can hear everything but that might have just been the guests, felt like they never slept so on top of it being so hot the noise didn’t help.

It was very frustrating, but at least we got an okay room at the end. The building has a small pool which we never used. You can ask for towels at the reception if you plan to go to the beach or pool. Location is good. It’s right across from Miami Beach Police and two blocks from Ocean Drive.

We had an excellent stay at Kenmore Village but the only problem we encountered was the reservation mixed up. We intended to for three days that is Thursday till Sunday check out. Instead, we had our reservation only for two days ( Check - in on Friday and check-out on Sunday.

It took the receptionist literally 40 minutes to check us in. Incredibly slow and unfocused.When I asked questions,it appeared that she didn't know what she was doing or explaining to us why the process was to taking so long. Other than that, everything else was ok.

It is a well kept beach hotel- the rooms are not fancy, but good enough. The pool is not large, but sufficient for a good time by the pool. The hotel location is excellent and you are literally two blocks from Ocean Drive and the main attractions of Miami and the beach. Despite being on the first floor, we felt safe since the Miami Dade Police Station is in front of the hotel. Overall, excellent value for the location. We will return.

The location relative to the beach and restaurants on Ocean Dr and Lincoln Rd was great, as was the property's layout with pool and four buildings. The room was clean and spacious and beds and bathroom were fine. It would have been nice to have a sofa and dresser but we didn't really need them for a 1-night stay.

They switch off the elevators, so guests have to climb the stairs. After long outings climbing stairs were really tiresome and didn’t suit me in my holiday leisure. Their cost cutting policy is at to that extent that they don’t supply drinking water in the room.

Wow, we truly loved our stay at the Kenmore! Everything was fantastic—it's hard to know where to start. The staff, the pool, the patio, the perfect location, and even the spacious room—especially considering it's in South Beach, Miami, housed in a beautiful Art Deco building. We really enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back. It was such an incredible experience, and honestly, we're a bit sad to leave.

We loved our stay here, the location is super, walk distance from the Art Deco part of South beach, close to Versace maison, and walking around feels safe. The property is stylish and comfortable. There was noise issue the first room we had been assigned. After speaking with staff from front desk we were relocated to a quieter building right away. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning. Simple menu but well presented dishes, very pleasant, but could be a bit light. All staff are nice and friendly. Would recommend definately.

While the location and room were good, The listing details touts a coffee shop, a bar and an elevator. The facility was dead as was the elevator when we arrived. No alcohol served onsite despite the “Hotel Happenings” sign at the front desk talking about a complimentary happy hour. We were on the 4th floor with no elevator with a 78 year old man. Additionally there was no access to the rooftop terrace as stated and highlighted on the listing. Overall, a “resort fee” is ridiculous when there are no resort-like amenities beyond a pool (that most hotels offer for free). If you are going through management changes, I would consider updating your listing to reflect the status of your property.

Elevator broken. The poolside cabanas were covered in stains and looked very undesirable to lay in. The chairs were nice and the pool was nice. My bed on one side was completely caved in. The “cafe” never had anyone working it. There was a guest in front of us in line that sounded like she had very real complaints that the staff basically dismissed. I guess it worked for one night but would not recommend using this for your vacation. The staff sometimes seemed friendly and other times seemed annoyed to be talking to you

The location was perfect. The hotel is taking shape and they are still ironing out the bugs. The cleaning staff were very late to make up the room daily. There was no way to ask them not to clean. They always forgot something, either to replenish the towels or the coffee. every day we had to go to the elevator was out and there was no one to help cary front desk. The worst thing was that the elevators do not work and no one to help carry our luggage.

We arrived a little early and dropped of our cases our room was very nice if a little dated as is the hotel.We were on tge 4th floor and the lift has been was out of order and has been for years according to the staff. It was difficult walking uo 4 flights every time. Our room was cleaned the next day but the bathroom bin was not emptied the maid did not leave us any fresh towels and tge bathroom was not cleaned neither was tge balcony as there was a old bittle on it from befire we arrived and it was still there 3 days later when we left.The balcony door would not lock so we felt a bit exposed as other rooms could just walk onto our balcony from theirs and then enter our room Thankfully nothing like this happened.The hotel staff are nice and its in a great location just needs updating and improving the facilities.

Rooms were cleaned each day with new towels and beds made. The staff was extremely polite and were able to get us into our room right when it was ready, which ended up being 6 hours early. The pool was an amazing amenity. Breakfast was not included, and the bar was only serving remade drinks at the time of our stay. There was no ice machine on the property. Overall the location was amazing, very close to everything you could want. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone

Bar never seemed to be open while we were there. Elevator in one of the buildings was not working. Gentlemen in the restaurant was very kind and helpful. Overall, a great place for the price and we will stay there again.

Our room had a bad odor and an ant infestation, and the front desk refused to move us. There was no phone in the room to call for help, and the provided number didn’t work properly. Bedding caused back pain, adding to the discomfort. The experience was stressful, uncomfortable, and poorly handled. Do not stay here—especially if you are pregnant or expect basic hospitality.

The elevator was not working and I recently had knee replacement. Had to do the stairs. Room has no phone to call front desk. Left message and it was not returned. Shower had no where to put wash cloth except the floor. The TV DIDNT WORK. It was a awful stay!

Staff was wonderful. The rooms are clean. Davis is new and updated Kenmore building is a little bit older. Rooms are loud in Kenmore. The cleaning people are great but you can hear them in the hallways while your watching tv or relaxing, doors and stairs etc.

I asked for a spare blanket since we have a baby and he made it seem like a big request but ultimately sent one up. I tipped of course. The lobby and especially the hallways had an incredibly strong cleaning odor. So much so my wife and I joked we had to hold our breath as we walked all the way to our room. Elevators were broke. They didn't clean our room the next day. We finally got home from the beach and were looking forward to fresh towels at least. I had to go find a maid in the hallway and she asked if I wanted a cleaning. I said I did, but it's 5pm and we have to put our baby to sleep. They laughed and handed me towels. I asked the barista for a cafecito, a staple Miami Cuban espresso and despite speaking fluent Spanish she acted like she never heard of it. Tiny thing, but we are on vacation and why have a cafe in your lobby and not serve the most basic espresso drink. Bed was comfy and water pressure nice. Outdoor area was nice as well. The bell hops were friendly and gave us a good recommendation to eat.

The resort fee felt excessive considering they didnt have the towels that were listed as a part of the fee and overall the hotel isnt a resort. Its was average hotel lodgings with nothing special about to justify the fee and absent the fact that it was an acceptable place to lay my head, it wasnt the kind of hotel you spend more time at than you need to. For the price, i would not stay here again

Lovely big room with comfortable big bed. Lots of outside seating. Pool area was small but nice and we always got a daybed because it wasn't busy. Great location for all the restaurants and bars in South Beach. Very short walk to the beach itself. Only downside for me was the rooms use a punchpad code system through multiple doors so it took ages to get from outside to the room. It did feel safe however.

My main concern is that I asked to NOT have anyone enter the room while I wasn’t there and they definitely did - there was no trash to dispose of, so their intrusion was not welcomed or needed - they made the bed without changing my sheets so what was the point? Also, the hotel was out of pool/beach towels every single day. I don’t understand this. They are two blocks from the beach AND have a pool. They know how many guest rooms they have. How difficult is it to either have enough towels or run a few loads of laundry during the day?

They put me up on third floor of a building with a broken elevator. Dragging bags up and down every time you leave your room was a pleasure for sure. why put people up there just to make them ask to be relocated later? Or why not just let us know if you're full and apologize in advance for it. Poorly handled.

Etc it makes no since even motel 6 has a phone and what would u do in case of emergency?!! Has to be a liability issue on the hotel if something were to happen and there was a delay on response time because there is no phone and no elevator and you have to run down to the front desk?!! Truck stop motel disguised as a boutique hotel. Carpets in the hallways and stairwell are stained and filthy. Rooms are small without enough space for even a single toiletry bag in the bathroom. Slow and inflexible check in. Be prepared to wait 30+ mins as they force everyone to check in after 4pm. No insulation in the walls with constant noise. No mini fridge. Not even a soap dish in the shower. These are things even a $70 motel would offer, but Kenmore Village has none of them and I paid $270/night. I tried to change rooms twice and was denied without any concessions. Avoid this hotel if possible.

Paid way too much for a room, the elevator was broken, and me and my 87 year old mother were put in rooms on the 4th floor. They were also out of hand soap, we had to use body wash for hand soap.

Nice staff, they allowed us to check in early, that was a lifesaver. The pool is pretty. Parking is a block away at the police station, $45 a night (that is average). Breakfast is 3 blocks away - we will skip it next time and find breakfast on our own. Overall, loved the location and the stay was good.

The room was generally ok as far a size and amenities. However, the room was very noisy (loud vehicles and loud people) all through the night due to the proximity to the street. The bed was terrible. The mattress had simple panels below it, which would lift up and drop down making loud bangs every time one would move on the bed. I am sure the person in the floor below hated it. The lack of parking was a problem. The paid parking lots are only good for 8 hours and the nearest 24hr parking garage was full. I had to get up at 2:00am and move my car to a parking garage further away. On the Expedia ad it said valet parking was available. In reality, it was not except for a lucky few.

Kenmore Village is a beautiful place, and the staff were great. However, I gave it a 2-star rating because we stayed in the Bel Air building on the lower ground floor, and we could hear every footstep from the people above us on the second floor. It was really loud. We asked the front desk if we could be moved, but they never got back to us. I even talked to the people on the second floor, and it turned out there were four kids, which is why it was so noisy.

Rooms was just okay nothing to talk about. The housekeepers didn’t clean daily but they do change your towels and may sometimes make the bed but that’s it no sweep or mop floors remain dirty. I was cool with the service until I saw cockroaches start popping up everyday after that changes everything for my wife she was so unstable after that and wanted to leave.

It's a great place. No bottled water in the room like other hotels. Also, the check-in is at 4 pm. Even if rooms are available, they make you wait. Kind of rude! I arrived at 2:45, but they ultimately let me into the room early; it was a struggle, and I listened to stories about no clean rooms available. The elevator remained broken. The "breakfast included" oven remained broken. How is that possible?? Location is awesome. People are wonderful. The pool water is freezing. Why not heat the pool????

The hotel had signs advertising ice machines and filtered water stations, but none of these were actually available during our stay. The room itself was okay, but the AC unit was very old and extremely loud, which made it hard to relax and sleep comfortably. I have never left a review for a hotel before, but I could not let someone stay here. My co-worker saw a cockroach in her room and my other colleagues had dirty socks on their floor when they checked in. All 9 of the rooms we booked were filthy and smelled like chemicals + mold. The hallways were very scary/dirty. The photos on their website do not look anything like any of the 9 rooms we booked (same goes for the pool, lobby, + "bar"). We tried to speak to a manager many times and they always had an excuse as to why we couldn't talk to them. They also don't answer phone calls or emails. We left immediately and booked a different hotel because I could not, in good conscious, let my colleagues stay there. We never received any sort of refund even though we booked 9 rooms for 4 nights and were only there for less than an hour.

The room was very disappointing, it only had a bed. No seat, sofa or chairs to sit on. No edge/ledge to put your soap/toiletries on in the shower, so things have to go along the sink, when in the shower, which is very small. The elevator was broken so we had to haul large luggage up two flights of stairs, which were very steep. Location is great, 2 blocks away from South Beach, walking distance to local pharmacies, and restaurants.

The elevator was not working and they put us on the top floor. Was travelling with my elderly mother. It was difficult to navigate the stairs with bags even with help from staff. Our outings were definitely limited. In addition were placed in a room with a patio but the door did not lock. Made us very nervous. Coffee maker in room no cups or mugs or Coffee was available. Just an odd place in general. The room was clean though.

Nice clean and spacious rooms. Great resort amenities. The pool area was stunning and very close walk to everything. Supermarket right across the street. Only down side of this resort, they do not offer any early check inns. We had one little issue with our suitcase, elevators were not working so the resort bell boy brought up our suitcase and broke the entire handle off it. The resort did not acknowledge this at all.

Staff and location were great. The room was clean but the hallway carpets were not cleaned regularly. Overall, I would stay here again for the price and the location. If your’re looking for fancy amenities etc…like having drinks served to you poolside…stay at a higher end place. If you want a quiet place with a 3 minute walk to Ocean Ave and the beach, I would recommend it. Also, many, many great restaurants in the area.

We booked properly for three guests, yet the room had insufficient bedding and only two towels. We did not add an extra person. When we asked for a third towel, we were told none were available because they were being washed and the hotel was fully booked. That is unacceptable at this price point. A hotel’s failure to stock enough towels is not the guest’s responsibility. At night, there was only one attendant for all four buildings, with no management on site. The attendant (George) explained he could not deliver bedding because he was the only person working the entire property. That alone disqualifies this hotel from any four-star claim. Additional issues: Coffee maker in room, no cups; told to get cups from the cafeteria Dismissive response to cleanliness concerns: “If you want, we can clean your couch” When asking for solutions, we were told: “The only option I have is downgrade you.” This stay tainted our entire vacation. Given the cost and the complete failure to meet advertised standards, we believe a full reimbursement is the minimum warranted, if not more. We strongly caution others against trusting this hotel’s rating.

However, on the third day, our room was not cleaned. When I returned in the evening and asked the front desk about it, the staff replied, “Oh, that’s because you’re checking out tomorrow.” Regardless of the check-out date, the room should have been cleaned as scheduled. When I raised the issue again, the staff dismissed my concern and responded in a grumpy tone, “I’ll bring fresh towels to your room, is that okay?” This experience was extremely disappointing and demonstrates that the hotel fails to provide even basic services. I would caution other guests to take this into consideration before booking.

The place is good. We especially liked the pool area. it was very relaxing to lounge in the cabanas poolside. Taking a star off because we felt the price is really high and the hotel pumps a strong air freshener scent throughout the hallways and it was annoying.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was drenched in air freshener to the point where it was physically hard to breathe. It smelled like they were desperately trying to hide something, and instead created a toxic cloud I was stuck in for two nights. No ventilation, no windows to open, no relief. I left with a headache and irritated lungs. This should NEVER happen in a hotel.

Lovely property. Nice staff. Nothing out of the ordinary but all around lovely for a short stay. Not super child friendly rooms. They have a pack n play for young children. My biggest issue with this property was the showers. the water is scorching hot in the showers and also the way the shower is enclosed is difficult to bath a toddler because of the glass . Would have preferred either a regular bath or a shower with a curtain so I can wash my child and not get soaking wet.

The bothersome part is that it was not properly cleaned up outside. In the morning, there were wine bottles and cigarettes in the lounge area that hadn't been cleaned up from the night before. Out back, eating breakfast, there was an entire table of food/drinks that wasn't cleaned up. It sat there for our entire breakfast, with birds going after it, and no less than 4 different workers walked right past it. Nice folks working there, but probably wont go back.

Room was decent but furniture was outdated and Scratched up a bit and we were there 4 nights and no one came to clean the room or drop off new towels. The sink was a bit dirty and the shower doesn’t have a soup holder. But the bed was comfortable and the outdoor patio and pool was great. However, they should clean the day beds daily. Hotel was in the right area just a short walk to beach and stores and stuff.

I’m extremely surprised at the positive reviews for this place. I’ve only given it two stars to account for the staff’s friendliness. Aside from that, this place is a dump. Aside from the very dated, unkempt, poor maintained rooms and facilities, the hotel falls short in just about every respect. First off, there’s no housekeeping whatsoever. No mention of it, no trash pick up, you fend for yourself if you need anything including clean towels, etc. Even basic items such as soap were not made available in our room, and when I asked the front desk, they simply said “we have no soap.” No explanation, apology, zip. The elevator was out of service during our entire 4 day stay. Again, no mention, no signs, no explanation or apology. The gym was gross, completely unmaintained, no towels. The outdoor tables where guests are expected to eat their breakfast were disgusting with clearly no cleaning happening. The list goes on. Just bizarre. I was certainly not expecting an upscale experience at this place, but couldn’t have imagined what crap we’d be confronted with. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump.

Arrived Oct 29 later in the evening and had a very good check in experience. Lobby was fresh and clean. Room was fresh smelling and clean with a safe, keurig and little toiletries for bathroom. Keurig didnt work and made a mess however. Thankful for Burger King across the street. Small pool area was great but definitely not for a large amount of people to sit around and lounge. Perfect location. Close to shops, restaurants, bars and South Beach. Price was definitely worth my 3 night stay.

Isabella and staff were great. Stayed in Taft building first floor and inside my room. The floor was dirty. My bare feet turned black clearly there is no mopping that happens in that room. And also a microwave should be available.

On the other side room, 4106 had ants. You guys did not have bug spray on hand and no one came to do additional cleaning. I had to buy bug spray Due to the ant problem and also had restless sleep because of it there were no rooms to change into.

Equally positive was my experience with bartender Andre – always smiling, friendly, and eager to help in every situation. The service at Kenmore Village Hotel always exceeds expectations – such a friendly and professional team is truly rare. In addition to that, the rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well equipped – in June I stayed here with my 6-person family and everyone was delighted. I love this hotel for its fabulous pool surrounded by lush vegetation and palm trees, which creates the fantastic atmosphere of a tropical island, completely cutting guests off from the noise of the nearby street. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind – each time I’m sure I will return with every visit to South Beach, where I've been going regularly for 11 years, at least 4–5 times a year. Kenmore Village Hotel, South Beach, is my number one choice. I recommend it to everyone – perfect comfort, phenomenal staff, and a fantastic pool.

We had a great stay at Kenmore. The hotel is close to all the highlights of South Beach (Ocean Drive, Esanolla Way,...). The staff was very friendly and responsive, which made our stay even better. The breakfast was nice, with a couple of tasty options. While the pool is not large, it was really pleasant and we enjoyed swimming and sunbathing.

Completely bamboozled by the pictures and reviews. The staff cleans once every 3 days, they give you 1 roll of toilet paper at a time, there were so many kids there when we went, room smelled like pool and it was so strong, we heard our upstairs neighbors literally running back and forth upstairs like if they were in our room, room has no phone, they ran out of beach towels daily and gave us room towels. Sofa bed was dirty and made a lot of noise. Would never stay here again and would not let any of my friends stay here.

This hotel was very underwhelming. It was not dirty so I decided to stay. But it is not what the pics/reviews show it to be. The dining area is shut down; I was told the cook was “off” but it was clear it’s totally out of commission. I was told there is no elevator when in fact there is an elevator, again must be out of commission bc a luggage rack was in front of it my entire stay. So guests had to drag their luggage up/down stairs. The hotel has dingy worn out carpet. At check in, the attendant gave me the code to my room on a sticky note. No room keys. Just a sticky note & vibes smh. I was so thrown off LOL. If it wasn’t for the cleanliness and the nice staff I would’ve made a fuss and left. The best part was the quietness and the pool. Will not be staying here again but again: at least it was clean!

The place wa relatively clean the location was amazing. The gym is not good at all . They have a small refrigerator located inside the closet and it only stays on for 2 hrs then you have to restart it. The bed was comfortable. Its very minimal. No bar no food no restaurant in the location. It did its job but i would not stay there again. The place has amazing potential with a better management cre but it was ok.

This was our 2nd time staying here. First time under the “new management”. Location is amazing. Close to everything. All amenities of this hotel were closed which was disappointing. We had a property manager walk into our room while we were both still in bed. Our room had a beautiful view of the construction trash. Pool is perfect, loved hanging with the lizards running around the garden. The cabanas could use some TLC, the cushions are ripped, smelly, and have seen better days. Lots of construction during the day and the workers were extremely loud. Location was perfect, highly recommend the 11th Street Diner across the street.

Elevator broke our 2nd day there so it was difficult to get to our room on 3rd floor. I had a recent goot surgery and my husband hip replacement. So that was hard to do. We will be back to Miami in Feb 2026 and we would like to stay here again 2 rooms for 3 nights. Would it be possible to get a discount for that trip becaise of the elevator situation?

The elavators were down and we got places on the 4 floor which was intense cardio to get up there, especially carrying anything in hand. It made it uncomfortable for us to wanna leave the room and struggle to get back up. The room was also not the one we originally booked but because we were already settled in the night we got there and the bed and ac was great we didn’t pack up to move to the suite promised. The power also went out and we all got locked out of our rooms for an hour. That was also stressful

Check-in: No front desk staff, only a security guard who gave me my room code without checking ID, credit card, or signature. Huge safety concern. Room: No safe, no toiletries, no phone — nothing you would expect at a proper hotel. Safety issue: Another guest was mistakenly assigned my room and walked in while I was inside. Locked out: My room code stopped working at midnight. It took over 2 hours and multiple failed attempts before security finally opened my room at 2:50 AM. No manager ever answered calls. No housekeeping unless requested, and even then it wasn’t available when I asked. Power outage: The entire property went dark for 30 minutes with no communication from staff. Check-out: Staff were rude, no manager was available, and even after all the issues, I was denied a late checkout after all my issues. If you care about safety, professionalism, or basic hospitality, avoid this hotel. It operates really bad and is not ready to receive guests.

The check in was horrible. First the receptionist gave me a room that was occupied and When I opened the door, the guests yell at me. When I went back to the receptionist, she offered me a room in the 3rd floor walk up, because the elevator was broken . Finally gave me a room smaller than what I paid for. No cleaning during my stay and no cleans towels. Horrible service

We booked this hotel but we were transferred to another one the day before of our stay. Nobody asked us if we wanted to do it, they just did it. The other hotel was nicer but it was 20 blocks aways from the area we wanted.

I did not stay at the Sonder. I got to Sonder and was immediately handed a letter with my name on it stating I will be relocated to another hotel as the Sonder is under renovation. Sonder did NOT state that there was renovation of any sort during the booking process. I took a cab from the airport to Sonder and had to take another cab to the relocation hotel. I booked a suite at Sonder yet my new room at the relocation hotel was smaller . I am pissed.

We found out at check in, that the hotel was sold and under new management. They informed us that we could stay at another hotel. If we didn't like it then we could get a refund but what choice did we have as getting a new hotel on same day would cost more that what we booked. So we stayed and it wasn't bad. I just wish I would have gotten some type of notice.

The walls are paper thin and it’s impossible to have a good night of sleep. It’s even hard to relax in the room during the day because you can hear everything from the other rooms, and the people around mine were younger party people playing music and speaking loudly all the time they were inside. I booked 3 nights and left after the 2nd because it was impossible to rest. This hotel is good for young party people on a budget, but as adult who wants to sleep during the night, not a good option.

I really enjoyed my stay . I came to Miami for swim week and had a great time . I do wish the rooms had microwaves but I was able to go downstairs and have an employee microwave for me . The bed was very comfortable and the room was small but not a big deal as I was only there for 2 days

Fortunately, we walked over to Sander hotel where a staff member named Eldrys assisted us with the check-in process. She was incredibly kind and understanding, especially since we were tired and exhausted from an overnight flight. When I showed her my ID and mentioned that it was my birthday, she became genuinely excited for me. She explained that if I had called ahead, they could have prepared something special for my celebration. After sharing my previous experience with the other hotel, I asked her about the possibility of getting a room just to take a nap, and she promptly arranged an early check-in for us. I truly appreciated her assistance; she was amazing and made my day much better. The hotel itself was fantastic, with friendly staff and clean rooms. Having stayed there in 2023, I would definitely recommend booking this hotel again.
