Reviews
The hotel has a great location with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but there are some inconsistencies in service quality. The rooms are clean and spacious, but there are issues with amenities such as AC, shower, and TV.

Nice little boutique hotel , well placed with lovely big rooms . I stay here often and it’s a no frills hotel but very central and nice big rooms . I will stay here again for sure .

We had a several broken items in our room. I called about the vanity and the technician came and looked at it but never came back to fix it. Several of the lights didn't work and the bathroom sinks had a slow drain. There is no parking at the hotel so you have to get valet so be aware. Also there is a resort fee and no breakfast at the actual hotel building.

The staff was the sweetest and most helpful. In particular Nathan. It is worn out and aged.

I appreciated the attentiveness of the Front Desk staff, to the patience of the Housekeeping Staff. The location is so optimal on many levels - around the corner from the Convention Center, one block away from Lincoln Road, and 2 blocks away from the 17th Street entrance to the Beach. They have an underused sundeck on the roof of the property - good for those that want to sunbathe, but want to avoid the potential busy setting of the Beach. I was very happy with my stay here. However, yes, there are small changes that I'd like to see. It's the Little Things that would make this property an awesome place to stay. For example, there were some of the "frequently used items" in my room that needed to be replaced. Also, where I liked the idea of there being a code, instead of the usual Key Card, for the room, perhaps the delay in the door automatically locking needs to be... reviewed. Yes, you can lock the door manually once inside. However, for extra convenience, reduce the automatic time frame by 5 seconds, in my opinion. In closing, these are all small. minor things. I'd absolutely stay here again.

One time even into my suitcase before I knew this was an issue. Weird chords and plugs in the corners of the room. I thought I took a picture but I didn't very unsafe. Beds had a clean pillow top under the pillow top was disgusting stains. Staff extremely rude. I tried to change my reservations. But it was a holiday weekend. Everything was booked the heated toilets were nice. Showers had mildew and let me elaborate when I say the staff are rude, I mean extremely rude. Definitely not like any other Miami experience. I've ever had do not book here

Hotel is in a lovely area, was within walking distance of several good restaurants, hotels that my travel mates stayed at, and the beach. Room was the perfect size for someone who is staying alone, and had an available mini-fridge. The two biggest nitpicks I had were that one of the cabinet doors could not open, and the floor of the shower has a very small barrier outside of the door, which was not enough to keep water from spilling onto the tile floor, making it a slipping hazard if you do not place a towel at the door

The bathroom and shower were the saving grace of this property. Steam shower plus a bath was great. The images on the website of the property are much more polished than the actual property itself. The room was rough around the edges and a bit in need of some fine tuning. The “motorized” shades need to be replaced. Every time you want to open or close the shades needing the pull them SO hard and forceful to get them to work isn’t normal.

Proximity to the beach The staff was friendly and helpful The pool was under maintenance during our stay and we were not notified until our arrival at the hotel. Rooms were renovated; however showed some signs of wear. Couldn’t really utilize the patio as there were fire ants crawling all over the railing. We did have some A/C issues that took a couple of trips from maintenance to sort out.

After seeing reviews I was scared but booked anyway. Stayed here 3 nights, to propose to my girlfriend. receptionists were very nice. The room was amazing. Unfortunately no good view but still a terrace, nice bathroom. The toilet was maybe the best thing, it opens automatically when you enter, it’s HEATED, and you have options to spray and wash if you know what I mean. After all a nice girl from the reception proposed to decorate the room for me after her shift, which was very nice of her. For the pool it’s in renovation so you have to go to the sister hotel in front of this one. No problem at all, you get towels and their pool is on the rooftop so you see the view from there which was very nice to cool down a bit. Very grateful that the tv had Netflix and everything, lots of hotels don’t. Location perfect just near the beach. It can get quite noisy with music but that’s Miami Beach baby! I asked the hotel beforehand to help decorate the room and they said no problem at all, and would also give a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate. Then unfortunately after a few days they replied again saying it’s not possible to help decorate the room, and that I would have to hire a specialist for this… which costs around $400-$800 depending how you want it. I was disappointed for this because it’s unprofessional to first say yes and then no. Unfortunately they didn’t give the complimentary champagne they promised, so it was kind of unprofessional for me as a hotel. I’m also a receptionist so maybe I’m more specific on that.

Location was good but that’s about it. They advertise as a 4 star hotel but I promise you this is a 2 star hotel at max and I am being generous. Showers leak, there are stains EVERYWHERE. The showers are disgusting to the point where I couldn’t use them without flip flops, the rooms are riddled with flies, the phones don’t work, and all the shower glasses have gross dirt stain marks on them, the front desk also refused to refund us after being on the property for less than 30 minutes after checking out the room. If you don’t care about your health or catching some kind of disease, this is the place for you. For comparison, I stay at the Gale next door usually and that’s an actual 4 star hotel, this place is an absolute dump. I would NEVER in my life ever recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 0.5/5
I stayed at this so-called 4-star hotel for three nights, and it was a huge disappointment. The room was never properly cleaned during my entire stay—not once. Housekeeping only came in to replace the towels, but didn’t bother doing any actual cleaning. The room quickly became dirty and uncomfortable, with dust, grime, and a general lack of care that you would never expect from a hotel of this rating. It honestly felt neglected and far below standard. The only positive thing I can say is that the location was convenient, but that alone doesn’t make up for the poor cleanliness and lack of basic service. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. EVERYTHING.

Spend three nights at this hotel, the room had an old wet wood smell. Room very dated and not once did they clean my room. I requested my room to be cleaned and was told that it would be, but when I returned back it was not cleaned. Not at all what is advertised.

- 2/5
The location and proximity to everywhere. The hotel is very dated and tired, and the photos shown on the booking platform do not accurately reflect the condition of the property. While the location is excellent, the hotel itself was not. Housekeeping standards were poor. Although it is understandable that the rooms are not new, basic cleanliness and maintenance should still be upheld. Upon check-in, the room had a musty smell and appeared as though it had either been unused for some time or not properly serviced prior to arrival. This concern was reported to reception. The room was only cleaned once during my 5 night stay. The fridge did not work and the shower just leaked. Breakfast, which I had booked, was not available on-site. Instead, guests were required to walk a few blocks to a sister property. This was inconvenient and, importantly, not disclosed at the time of booking. Overall, the rooms are in need of deep cleaning, repainting, repairs, and general refreshing. I would like to note, however, that George at reception was pleasant and as helpful as he could be during my stay.
- 3.5/5
The location is good! Very close to Lincoln Ave and Collins Ave, so it is very walkable. The room was nice, the see-thru steam shower, while a cool feature, was not the best option for a family of 3 with a teen daughter. We were provided with free breakfast at the sister hotel across the street due to some issues that we had with our room. While we appreciated the gesture, the waitstaff at the restaurant were not friendly at all, and the breakfast was mediocre at best. Nobody checked on us to see how our food was, and no drink refills were offered. The attitude of the waitstaff toward our table changed in a negative way once they found out we had vouchers for breakfast. Very disappointing experience

Small staff not very efficient with coaching daily. We had to ask for towels each day. Friendly staff. Great location tai blocks full the beach. Does not have a pool accessible on the roof but we had access to the hotel across the street. Located minutes away from food and shopping. Overall good stay.

It was walking distance to the convention center and on a pretty quiet street The room had a slight wet smell to it. Almost moldy.. the floors were also a bit sticky. The AC was either on full blast and freezing or off and muggy hot.
- 4/5
Nice but the rooms need some fixing
- 4/5
Location is great! Room was very clean, ac works great.
- 1/5
The property was difficult to find, no one answered the phone before arrival, and the front desk guy Tiago with blue eyes was not helpful and could’ve cared less. The room I was given (booked as a king with a patio) was unacceptable - dirty walls and floors, chipped paint, stains, a yellowed toilet seat, hard bed and non-working outlets. The “compensation” offered was minimal and inappropriate. A tiny cheese it & Oreo bag. I immediately requested a new room. After unnecessary back and forth with the brown haired girl and black glasses, Maria I think, I was eventually moved, and the second room was clearly in much better condition. That alone confirmed better rooms were available but not initially provided. The way this was handled felt intentional and discriminatory. Being given a significantly lower-quality room while better options were available raised serious concerns about how guests are treated. If you only need a convenient location with a decent bed, then this is for you.

I enjoyed that it wasn't far from everything The pool in our building was not working and had to walk across the street
- 1/5
The floors were super dirty. When we told staff she told us that house keeping couldn’t get in our room until the next day. When they did come in the only moped a small part of the floor. Our refrigerator stopped working which cause our food to expire. The pool was under construction so we had to go across the street to use another hotels pool which was only open from sun up to sun down. We didn’t feel welcomed at that hotel across the street. The staff were nice but not helpful resolving issues
- 5/5
I loved everything about this hotel they accommodated me and my friends very well when we needed to stay another day. Great location near restaurants, 5 min walk to the beach , great amenities, clean room and great hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again. They don’t have an ice machine or laundry room but it’s not a priority for my stay and the ice was at the sister hotel across the street so it wasn’t horrible.
- 0.5/5
NOTHING!! It was dirty, room smelled like smoke. Toilet seat was yellow, smoke burn on the furniture along with on the wall. Front desk staff Nate was rude, requested a room change received nothing but pure attitude, and “leave if you want to. Ended up checking out and losing the money.
- 1/5
Awful smell in the room and definitely outdated and dirty
- 2.5/5
The location Room was dirty. Wasn’t given towels till I asked the next day. Second time staying here same situation. Then there was water leak all over the floor. Key pad to room didn’t work so had to carry around this key. Carpet in the room was disgustingly. Blinds didn’t work. Floor was dirty.
- 3/5
The staff was all very nice, but the conditions of the room are a bit weird, I cant understand why they would allow the fixtures and maintenance to reach such a state. The original room design and fixtures and furniture are very nice and quite expensive ( full marble washrooms with a steam shower/bath, etc.) However they are stained, rusted, and the edges leak onto the bathroom floor. Many many instances of this poor maintenance of the property which is sad because its in a great location and again the design of the rooms is great. Also the pillows and towels are almost humorous, they were like hostel quality. I know its not a super high end hotel but that was hilarious.

Nothing We checked in the property was not as advertised online. Run down, thin walls, smelly. We asked to see another room…same story. Went to ask the front desk to refund us and she kept saying her manager refused to help us. Asked to talk with the manager and the hotel manager would not come speak with us. We proceeded to call booking where they claimed to contact the property manager but nothing has been resolved. Horrible staff bad hotel.
- 1/5
I will definitely never stay there again and i would not recommend it. It needs a lot of fixing
- 4/5
This hotel was extremely nice for the price. The staff were excellent and very courteous and accommodating. The bathroom was top tier, with the bidet and heated toilet seat, but the ultimate experience was the steamed shower!!!! The only small areas of improvement would be: *The unexpected $300 deposit hold. The booking site only mentioned the total for the additional resort fees. *The mirror light didn’t work, so the lighting was too dim when applying makeup. *The curtain was jammed. *The physical metal key to open the door. A keypad code would have been more convenient. *The glass panel in the shower was awkward since we had a double queen room on a girls trip. However, the steam shower provided a “smokey mirror effect” to provide privacy. *No washcloths were provided, we only had hand towels and bath towels. Overall, we LOVED our stay and the square footage was a plus!
- 2/5
The only positives were the location, the bidet, and the balcony, which were nice bonuses but not enough to make up for the overall experience. I was very disappointed with my stay. The 4:00 PM check-in time was a complete hassle, and the check-in process itself was frustrating. None of the amenities were available on-site; we were required to use the hotel next door, which was very inconvenient. My room was located right next to the front desk and staff area, and I could hear every conversation. When I requested a different room, I was told it was too late. Additionally, the photos online look nothing like the actual hotel. Overall, the property is extremely overpriced for what it offers.
- 4/5
The staff was extremely amazing. Especially the young man with the curly hair. He went above and beyond for my friends and I, the balcony was cute and nice. The area was two blocks from the beach. When we walked in, we noticed there was fake eyelashes near the phone. A small earring left on the floor and my friend stepped on it, we asked for more towels and we were being questioned on why. The tv didn’t work, the water from the shower was leaving to the rug area. We had to keep putting down towels,
- 2/5
Blinds were broken so couldnt open and close easily, TV was broken - image was blurry. Lightbulbs were out, and overall the room was poorly lit. Pool was closed for construction which we werent made aware of when booking. Air conditioning didnt work upon check in and had to be repaired the second day.
- 2/5
Also, the toilet seat was yellow, and the shower didnt drain and flooded part of the room.
- 2.5/5
The location was perfect for Lincoln mall. It was very very hard to find! Then the noises. The weird noises at night. I swear I heard a window break and a large bang at 4 am. I was too scared to check. The heating and cooking seemed to not work very well. Even though the bathroom amenities for the room were excellent (heated toilet seat, double sinks, sauna, deep tub) the light above the tub broke off and fell. The lock for the room door was very weak. No double lock to be on the first floor.
- 2/5
The room needs several repairs such as the flooring, the shower had rust and steamer did not work, the heating did not work and the room was freezing, the toilet seat and rug needs to be replaced. The room overall felt nasty and was not comfortable to stay in. There was no ice machine or amenities available. There was duck tap on the wall. The staff was not very pleasant or helpful. We will not be staying there again or recommending this hotel.
- 3/5
Glass, windows were dirty. I complained once they told me housekeeping would address it. I came back later in the afternoon and found the room pretty much the same way. The front desk was easy to speak with. I will Admit I am very type A I wasn’t asking for a whole room makeover but just a clean room. My suggestion is to pro
- 2/5
They changed my hotel. They said they would give me.2 rooma and they didnt.
- 3/5
Staff was wonderful. Room could use some maintenance. It felt dirty.
- 3.5/5
The conscience of the location, and the historical element to the building! The room temperature was always hot when we returned even if we set it lower, it was a bit humid in the room at that time as well and the mini fridge / cooler leaked on the carpet creating a wet spot. Some age to the room, but overall great value and history to the building.
- 4/5
Spectacular room, clean and comfortable even with the toilet seat that stood of attention as you walked into the bathroom closet! Staff friendly South American folks. Means it’s on some of the items in the room were seriously lacking, indicative to foreign ownership and maintenance customs.
- 3/5
That said, my room was in need of an update, and there was quite a bit of street noise, as all rooms face 17th street. If you’re not a light sleeper and you don’t mind a room that shows its age, a fine place to stay.
- 1/5
To start, the elevator wasnt working. Our room had very poor lighting and the shower tub area wasn't private at all. You could see in there from the beds. I will say that the beds were comfortable. We were under the impression that there was a restaurant on premise, but it was at their sister hotel across the street which we were told that we could go there for dinner. We walked over and it was closed and only open for breakfast. It just wasn't a very good experience and I will never stay here again.
- 1/5
My room wasn’t much better — the shower was clogged, and the blackout shade had a gap that left the room exposed from the street. Overall, it was quite disappointing, and I’m honestly not sure how many guests actually stay here.
- 2/5
Everything was good except the AC didn’t work
- 1/5
Honestly one of the most terrible hotels I have stayed. Place was not well maintained dirty and the pool look abandoned. I have pictures for all this. Which is sad. Mold on vents, yellow stains all over the toilet seat. The pool area was horrible and was abandoned look like the place just breaking apart. I have pictures of all this which is sad because that’s not what you guys advertised pictures look.
- 1/5
Bathroom was unhygienic, toilet seats were strained yellow. The room smelled terrible like a moldy pool, stained all over the furniture the paint from the walls were chipping off. The blinds where broken to a point they were hanging off couldn’t even cover the sun. When spoke to front desk they agreed the property was not getting the attention that deserves and was poorly maintained. We did not get a room change because they did not have any availability, which was hard to believe because no one was at the hotel. The next day, the front desk did not even speak English. This was by far the WORST stay I have been at in my life!!! no accommodations were made to complement our time or our terrible experience with this hotel save your money and go somewhere else.

Staff very nice. Pictures are very misleading. Hotel needs renovations, thorough cleaning, painting.Location good.

- 2/5
Staff was very friendly
- 3/5
The location and layout are great restaurants and the convention center. The pool and sundeck are nice(they’re across the street at the sister hotel. The rooms have a nice kitchenette area with fridge micro, sink and coffee. The shower and toilet are high tech. The locks are strange and some things need repair, but the helpfulness of staff makes up for shortcomings.
- 4/5
Good service amazing location, very clean room .
- 4/5
The room was fantastic, comfortable, spacious, clean, modern, obviously well cared for. The bathroom had a lot of Japanese inspired touches with a toilet that would be at home in high end Tokyo hotel and a tub/shower room that brought me back to my time in Kyoto. The only issues were that the hotel seems not to have any actual amenities of their own. They have a “sister” hotel across the street that they tell you that you have access to. We were even told to go across the street to the other hotel when we asked for ice for the ice bucket.

The next morning, after taking a shower, we discovered small black worms in the bathroom. That was the final straw—we immediately contacted the front desk to cancel the remainder of our stay. The hotel manager was understanding and assured us we’d be refunded for the canceled night, which we appreciated. While the staff was very kind and accommodating, and we did enjoy the bidet and heated toilet seat, those positives didn’t outweigh the overall discomfort of our stay. This location may work for others, but we won’t be returning.

Nothing works in the room, smells and lost my sunglasses there, I left them in the room and called them the next day and they said it was nothing left in the room. We didn’t sleep there the whole night because we were feeling so uncomfortable plus tv didn’t work, light fixture and room phone didn’t work that around 1am we left

This hotel is a MAJOR health hazard. First room smelled very strongly of mold and mildew. We were transferred to another room with an even bigger problem - chlorine gas! The chlorine was so strong our eyes were burning. The hotel acknowledged the problem and we promptly checked out. We received a partial refund, but still waiting on the balance of the refund. The pictures look great online, but be advised this hotel is showing its age and being poorly maintained. Constant standing water in the stairwell, black mold in areas, and malfunctioning electronics. There is a reason this hotel is cheaper than most others in a similar category! Be warned.

Property was close to most places and very nice.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, there were a few issues that impacted our comfort. Housekeeping didn’t make our bed during the stay, and the AC kept turning off every hour, making the room uncomfortably warm—around 75–80 degrees. I kept waking up throughout the night sweating. Additionally, there was a leak in the shower ceiling, which was disappointing. With a few improvements, this place could be a much better experience.

Was supposed to be reimbursed for the inconvenience of there being no other rooms available that were clean and never got the money back, can't get in touch with anybody to get hotels.com to handle what they said they were gonna do for the horrible job housekeeping did leaving that much broken glass and hair all over the place!! It's a dump now compared to when it opened! Stay somewhere else!!

We had a wonderful girls getaway! Our room was beautiful and staff was very nice. The pool at this hotel is not in service so you get to use the amenities at the resort next door and they have a beautiful pool.

Amazing hotel. Amazing location. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Super friendly hotel staff! We will definitely be back.
- 2/5
The front desk clerk was accommodating and placed us in another available room. That room was larger the AC worked however, the black on the door was broken and taped on with scotch tape and the showerhead was moldy and some of the electrical outlets did not work. It took a day and a half before the maintenance were able to take care of our broken lock. Once it was fixed. We felt more safe unfortunately we were only there for three days. We were then told by the beach staff that they no longer accommodate that hotel, and we would have to pay for our beach chairs. This was not informed to us by the hotel staff. The room is spacious, however needs lots of upkeep
- 5/5
Super friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our 3 nights there. We had a problem in the room where a few of the floorboards were raised a little causing you to be very careful not to stub or scratch a foot coming and going to the bathroom. While they couldn’t move us to a new room they without delay actually while we were still there offered a discount for the inconvenience which I am very grateful for. They’ve earned our business again when we return. Thank you guys.

It was amazing. There were bidets, steam showers, oversized tubs electronic currents, friendly helpful staff, rooftop pool and lounge area. I really could continue a fantastic place to stay.
- 2/5
The hotel is dated and is in need of repairs and a really good deep cleaning. There are only 3 floors of sleeping rooms so the view from the balcony faces the street. Also the luxury king rooms come in different sizes. Some rooms are larger and come with a couch and other rooms are slightly smaller with no couch but still considered the same room.

Signage is very poor for Hotel. No signage showing where to enter building. They should have something on the sidewalk at least. Front desk was always super nice. Checked into my first room and it smelled very wet/mildew like. I figured ok we are near the beach, I guess I could deal with it. As I went to the room phone to call front desk to ask for an air freshener or something I looked up and saw a big mold stain. So that’s where the smell is coming from. I called front desk and asked for a new room, I was told there weren’t any more rooms available. I expressed my concern and questioned how could they rent this room out knowing the mold growing on the ceiling being especially a health hazard and I would take photos/videos of it. I seriously started looking up other hotels in the area then I got a call back from front desk stating someone just canceled their stay and they have a different room for me. I moved rooms and it did not smell at all. My friend later that night checked in for his room and they tried to give him the room with the mold. That is seriously horrible they continue to try to give that room to guests, we told them no he needs a different room. They found him another room. I feel sorry for whomever they get to stay in there without fixing it first. There are no amenities on the property, everything is across the street at their sister property the Gale. Valet was nice but horrible with timing. It literally takes up to 30minutes to get your vehicle.

Overall hotel is ok, however very difficult to find lobby as there is no signage. The downside was issues we encountered. The room provided was next to reception which was noisy throughout night. Asked to move but front desk could not provide another room. Pool was closed for maintenance, refrigerator was broken as well some outlets were not working in our room. No breakfast available. Parking available was only valet at $40 per night. Location is good but I would choose another hotel.

Staff Shower cabin Dislikes: Pool was closed Property was dirty and run down Door mechanism for room was barely hanging on Automatic curtains were broken Elevator was broken for one day Ice machine was in hotel across the street and it was broken Took almost 30 minutes for valet to get the car

I'd love to give this hotel a review, but unfortunately when we arrived for our stay, they informed us they did not have a room available even though we had a reservation that we booked through Expedia.com. We had a King Luxury w/balcony booked with them. They then moved us across the street to a Hilton Curio Collection (Gale) where they put us in what I could only call a "closet". Obviously I'll review that hotel separately. We were very disappointed that this hotel overbooked and couldn't provide us a room. We were there for a wedding that same day and just made it just in time after all of the confusion.

Very nice and clean
- 5/5
People were great throughout my stay. The only thing was the hotel door or address was not visible so it was a bit to drive around to see where to go. Outaide of that. My stay and the hotel room was good.
- 2/5
Felt very dated. Like an apartment from the 80s in NYC. The bed was extremely comfortable. Price is reasonable and location is fair.
- 5/5
A pleasant surprise. From the outside, I questioned my choice... once we got to our room all I can say is wow! I would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
But it was nice that you could go to hotel across the street and use their pool.
- 5/5
All good.
- 5/5
Very cute hotel. Went to the Fillmore for a concert and was convenient. The only this is it could have been alittle cleaner. Dusty and it had dead plants on the balcony.
- 5/5
One of the nice spots on south beach, always an option for us when looking for a hotel for the weekend!!
- 3/5
The staff is the best part of this hotel - they are wonderful, helpful, and kind. The room was spacious and had a very high tech feature to the bathroom! The daily room cleaning was touch and go. Some days they made my bed, some days no. Some days they gave me towels, some days no. The pool area is very small and old but you get a nice view. A mediocre stay made nice by the great staff.
- 5/5
We loved the staff and the place was very nice :) definitely will recommend
- 3/5
The employee that checked us in and out was great!!
- 2/5
They take no responsibility for their actions, no food options at all. They refer you to a hotel across the street for everything including the ice machine. They provide nothing.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice, very clean, technology up to date, and in a good area
- 4/5
Peaceful and easy to get to all the other places from that area
- 4/5
They didn't have their own swimming pool like they say they were partners with the next door Hotel in the bathroom was clear everybody can see you while you're in the shower we had to put a curtain other than that was great
- 2/5
Cleanliness was lacking with dust everywhere and carpet had noticeable stains, on check in day there was still trash from the last guest left over. Construction happening in the adjacent hotel so expect workers if you visit the rooftop pool. Location was convenient for beach access and close enough to restaurants. Temperature in room was great. Front desk staff were nice.

Terrible my room flooded it was jus terrible

I spent 12 days at this property, and while the images do not accurately represent the reality, my stay was not entirely unpleasant. I appreciated the hotel’s charming layout, which, though small, was quite appealing. However, I have several concerns regarding the condition of my room. The walls were marked, the ceilings were stained, and a fresh coat of paint was clearly needed. Upon my arrival, I was informed that the ice machine was out of order, requiring me to use the one at the sister property across the street. Initially, this was not an issue, but after a few days, that machine also malfunctioned, leaving me to purchase ice from CVS for cold beverages. Additionally, the lamp in my room was nonfunctional, though I managed with the bedside lamps. The carpet was unclean, and the floors could have benefited from a thorough mopping. The television remote was unreliable, and the pool and jacuzzi were often dirty, with tiles around the pool in disrepair. Furthermore, the trash was not collected for several days. I was also perplexed by the staff's attempts to enter my room despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed. The primary advantage of this hotel is its central location, providing easy access to restaurants, shops, and stores. This property is in dire need of significant renovations. Overall, I would rate my experience as 5 out of 10. Would I consider staying here again? I must firmly say no.

Loved the modern rooms with great technology in the bathrooms
- 4/5
Had a great stay here. The location was great and staff were very nice. However, I do want to point out that the pictures fooled me a little bit. The rooms were nice, but the hotel is set up kind of like a motel style, not a high rise. The lobby is very small and there is no coffee/restaurant in the hotel or anything. The amenities like the pool and stuff is across the street at their sister hotel. We ended up not even going there, but just wanted to point that out.
- 4/5
The location is great. I love the shower. My TV was broken on one side and the wall panel for the air conditioner was cracked, so I think this property needs a little TLC.
- 3/5
Room dirty
- 4/5
Overall I would stay again
- 3/5
1st not Ac broke and room temp was 80 degree even after maintenance said they fixed it. I will say employees dud everything to make things better.
- 4/5
I wish the pool was on property, but everyone at the front desk were so polite, and helpful to

I thought it was a nice place to stay until I woke up in the morning covered with bed bug bites!!! Do not stay here.
- 1/5
rooms smell of urine and mold, front desk is not bery knowledgeable. there is only one way out of the hotel, and that entrance floods up to your calves when it rains. Do not waste your money,
- 5/5
The hotel was super nice and it was clean, but the pool is really small….like super small, one family at a time small
- 5/5
I felt safe in the area while traveling with three of my children for three nights. However, if we were staying longer, I would have stayed somewhere at laundry facilities, etc. Overall, the hotel and room are very nice and have a chill vibe. The front desk staff were very helpful, and if I had a short stay again, I would stay here.
- 3/5
Great location and comfortable room but messy, abandoned and ugly looby, with damaged and broken equipments on the floor. Very bad first impression. No services inside property.
- 4/5
Love everything was so close to the hotel liquor stores Walgreens and cvs. Food near by and bars and clubs. We didn’t have a phone in the room that’s the only thing.
- 1/5
A total misrepresentation of what you get and what is shown on the site picture. I supposedly had a Luxery King Room and there was nothing luxurious about it.

The hotel is located at a good central location with a short walking distance to the beach, other shopping areas and restaurants. This was the only advantage. I feel the hotel was overpriced for what it offered. Besides the bidet, I don’t think it offered much. A couple of cons. I arrived late after midnight at hotel. There was minimal lighting at the entrance, couldn’t tell where the hotel entrance was and had to call to ask. The lobby was dark, entrance is hidden. The hotel sign was also hidden. The room signs are not as visible. You may have to make a few turns before you get to your room. There were black particles on my bed when I checked in. The AC vent was above the bed and kept blowing these particles. Housekeeping staff need to be more vigilant with the “do not disturb” door signs. I placed the sign on my door one day and when i returned they had cleaned the room. I notified the front desk staff and he apologized and reassured me he will discuss it with them. Again the next day I placed the sign on my door and when i returned they had again accessed my room. While I appreciate the hospitality gesture, this was an invasion of privacy. I again notified the front desk staff but this time I felt like my complaint was minimized. This should not be happening at all. The mini pool was not working. For the price that I paid, some complimentary coffee in the lobby would be great at minimum.

I will come back here again we liked everything
- 3/5
Staff was amazing and very accommodating, was in the perfect location. Hotel was in walking distance of the beach and local restaurants and shopping centers. Rooms did feel a bit humid inside which resulted in a mold smell. Other than that room service was great! We requested a new room because our first had a strong mold smell with no ventilation from outside and we were moved shortly after to a nicer sweet.
- 5/5
We loved our stay. The location was perfect! It was one. Lock from the beach and tons of restaurants on walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Surprisingly the room was very nice, clean and spacious. Only downside was that the ac unit in the room wasn’t working properly and it was very stuffy. Engineering came to the room and “fixed” it but still no change in the climate of the room. The temp was set to 70 and felt more like heat than cooling. Another downside was that’s the steam option in the shower didn’t work; was informed by the front desk that all steamer don’t work. Otherwise, my experience at the kaskade/ gale hotel was good. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

First the shower clogs then the AC wont start in thr middme of thr night!
- 5/5
The staff was extremely accommodating and the hotel room was great. There are plenty of amenities between them and their sister hotel across the street. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful and check in was easy. Easy walk to the beach, shopping and dining. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Their staff were so kind and I loved my room with a balcony. Will visit again
- 4/5
Here for the weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. I wanted to be a central safe location. This offered all of that. I was able to safely have my car parked through valet. The staff were responsive and helpful as I arrived very late.
- 4/5
this property had a steam shower and i took the best showers of my life. it was walkable and comfortable. not sketchy but still wouldn’t recommend at night if you’re alone. the staff was nice but we didn’t really talk other than checking in. the location couldn’t be better, there was food, and bars and all kinds of places just a block up the street.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a great location!
- 3/5
Overall I would probably stay there again because of the spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. But they really have to work on their services especially considering the price of the hotel room per night.
- 3/5
The female receptionist/manager who was working early yesterday morning was extremely rude to my wife for no reason. The rest of the staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Very good

Very clean and spacious room, extremely nice and helpful people !

The cleaning staff stole my clothes! After checking out we realised we left a jacket and hoodie in the small, dark closet. We called the hotel and said we’d come back the next day to collect. When we showed up, they said nothing was there. There’s literally nowhere else they would’ve been since I didn’t wear them all week. I’m sure they’ll just gaslight me and deny this being possible, so here are some other reasons not to stay here. The construction noise from next door is unbearable, daily, and from early hours. Our tap water was brown one of the days. The rooftop pool area is very sad-looking and unused. Toilet and shower privacy is non-existent.
- 2/5
So the location was really cool because it was close ti everything. The valet parking was kind of annoying, you would have to give them a 30-45 min heads up, but the phones didn’t work. So I would have to leave the room and go to the front desk every time to ask for the car. There was no remote to control the volume of the tv, just a Roku remote. When I presented my concern to the front desk they told me to press source on the sound bar, but the problem was the sound bar wasn’t on. The room was clean, staff were nice even though they didn’t seem to be too helpful. Maybe it was just a communication problem. The pool was very small, no one was there so I guess that’s a plus. My favorite part was the location, very close to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shops. I think this hotel could be a lot better if they worked on some of the issues at hand.
- 3/5
Stayed at this hotel last year and it all felt brand new, returned a year later and everything seemed beat-up and used.
- 4/5
4 stars only because there was an event Saturday evening and a day of preparation. Was very loud until late
- 1/5
Rude front desk womens staffs
- 3/5
The lobby, hallways, and elevator smelled horrendous. Thankfully the room did not smell anything close to those common areas. The management should have better standards on how they upkeep those areas. I understand it is a high traffic area but I walked inside a few other hotels on the same street and they did not reek of inrine, so it’s not impossible.
- 3/5
Quirky hotel. Good location, cool design, friendly staff, Roku on smart TV, good internet, good linens for bed and bath, steam shower, smart toilet, nice roof deck. But … unknowledgeable staff, broken window shades, broken light fixtures and light switches, missing pods for Nespresso machine, air vent directly over bed.
- 3/5
The hotel was OK but not outstanding. The advertised ‘pool’ was essentially an oversized bathtub. Miami Beach is a very expensive lodging market so be prepared to pay if you want anything nice.
- 2/5
It was very strong scented with heavy perfume in the foyer and rooms. Pillows were not of good quality. The front desk gentlemen were outstanding.
- 4/5
I love the location, but the construction in the area was really loud, especially in the morning! The staff is amazing! Shout out to Ashley, Jarno and Johnathon!!! Great location to the beach and Lincoln Road, Colllins Ave, and Washinton. Rooms are great, housekeeping staff is amazing. I always stay at this hotel when I travel to Miami Beach. I would recommend this property if you are visiting the area. Thanks for your hospitality.
- 3/5
The staff was incredibly nice especially Ashley. She did a great job trying to make my stay more comfortable and accommodating however The building and rooms needs some fixing. Curtains would not open or close using the controller, refrigerators were not working, iron did not work. I had to go all the way downstairs to the lobby to get ice and put my breast milk to keep cold. I had a convention where I needed to iron my blazer and the iron did not work. I had to turn off the timer to the AC unit because it was too hot. The carpets were filthy and outdated.

it was great! pool is cool, our room had cute balcony!
