Ithaca Hotel

The Ithaca had caught a fire so they moved me to the meridian hotel, which was nice! Staff were great surroundings were beautiful only problem that I had was it was no elevator and no microwave in the rooms.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is excellent—close to grocery stores and just a short walk from the ocean. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and perfect for exploring. I also loved the lobby; it’s very stylish and creates a great first impression. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! 😊

The hotel for us was in the perfect location prior to going on a cruise. It is very close to South Beach, Lincoln Road and all there is to do and see in the area. Communication with Staff through messaging was excellent and the room was also very nice. Would definitely recommend as the location is fantastic

Very large room and bed, clean when we first arrived and excellent cleaning service daily. Shops, restaurants and beach nearby. Only issue was with lack of staff during check in made it difficult to take Luggage to the room, but the hotel manager arranged for someone to help us during check out! Thank you

Great Stay, Amazing staff! Will return!

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed the location & amenities. We were a bit confused about checking in and the parking etc, as there’s no staff on site, however this was very simple. We got an email with the checking in instructions, and they put a parking fob in our room so we could use the parking garage across the street (extra charge of $20 per day). Every day they emailed us asking how we were and if we needed anything etc, which was a fabulous touch, and they were very quick to respond back. We did have something crop up, and the managed emailed me, then called me to discuss. Oscar was amazing, he went above & beyond any service we’ve had before at a hotel. Then the next day he called again just to check in…..thanks Oscar!!! The room & bathroom were very large and clean. There are towels, bathroom supplies, beach chairs, umbrellas & beach towels all in the little lobby area for you to help yourself. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s a block walk to South Beach but was quiet enough and near CVS & Walgreens etc for anything that you might need. Thanks again to Oscar and the team for a great experience!

What staff and ownership offer on a budget is amazing If you are the type that can figure things out and they even have text support this is a perfect stay no one bothers you rooms are large and clean and very close to all the fun and beach I had a great stay Thank you management for the great stay and checking on me throughout my stay I totally recommend ithaca to anyone needing a getaway

Amazing location and comfortable rooms—hidden gem! Don't be turned off by the unassuming entrance. Once you get past the lobby and up to the rooms, this place is a gem. We stayed in a large, clean room that comfortably fit four people. The unseen staff provided great customer service, allowing us to have a late check-out at no cost so we could enjoy the beach. The location is amazing—just a short walk to the beach, and they even provide beach chairs and umbrellas. The rooms also had nice amenities like quality shampoo, body wash, lotion and conditioner. Note, the communication with hotel staff is largely virtual and there are stairs to get to the rooms so please note before booking.

I stayed for 2 days it was amazing , I really enjoyed it . It had a lot of lighting during the day very spacious and at night it’s perfect if you like dim lights . The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and smelled amazing 10/10 and amazing location and close to everything on the beach Only thing I didn’t like was , it didn’t have an elevator so be prepared to walk up some stairs & the noise outside .

The room was nice, bed was comfortable, the property manager is very nice, I really appreciated that he texted a couple times to make sure everything was good and on the last day our flight left late, he was able to extend our check out a little. Also it was nice having $20 parking with in and our privileges really close by. Thank you Oscar We had a little hiccup checking in but it was resolved after calling, and realizing the code shows up after touching the screen under the handle. I suggest explaining that part in the check in message as I ended up helping 2 others that were checking in having the same problem. Also the stairs going up could be tough for older people or people with knee and hip issues, Oscar kindly did offer to send someone to help with the luggage which was very nice .

Great location close to beaches and shopping food etc

The hotel was only one block from the beach, perfect. Lots of shops and restaurants around. The room was really nice and extremely clean. The management group reached out several times to make sure everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was the stairs to carry luggage up. But not really that big a deal compared to what you are getting. Very reasonably priced.

My only complaint about the hotel is that there is no elevator. I had to carry two heavy bags up a flight of stairs to get to my room. Otherwise, I loved it. The room itself was spacious and beautiful, the bathroom was gorgeous, and it was a great location for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach.

The best thing about this hotel is location. Proximity to the beach, restaurants, we even walked to the Lincoln rd. Otherwise it delivers everything what you would expect from 3 star hotel. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

The room was pretty large and the location (a block from South Beach and .5 mile from Joe’s Stone Crab) was fantastic. It would have been helpful to know that there is a steep staircase (no elevator).

Our room was not cleaned when we checked in due to a clerical error. This was late afternoon and staff had gone home for the day so we texted and tried calling the number to the property that we had, but there was no response. Once we left a voicemail message, someone reached out to us and we let them know what happened. Oscar (property manager) then got involved and since there were no other rooms available, he put us in a nearby property which was great. He also followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied for the remainder of our stay. Would prefer to have a direct number to contact for any possible issues that may arise at check in since there is no staff after hours.

The hotel offers an affordable alternative in the middle of South Beach, conveniently located near the beach and restaurants. It is very much no-frills, but the room was spacious and the beds comfortable.

Location was great - parked the car and pretty much walked to all the wonderful attractions of South Beach. The owner was very considerate and communication was excellent - instructions were clear and easy to follow. There was one 15 minutes loading/unloading parking spot right outside of the hotel which made it easy to take our things up to the room. The parking structure is very nearby. The room was simple and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

This is basically a diy facility. The description says it's the whole apartment, but there is no kitchen, no coffee maker, etc. No on-site staffing either. Our room (102) has large windows facing two busy streets, so it's noisy at night. The staff did offer to change room after our complaint, but we declined due to the inconvenience. In the end, the hotel offered a discount for our stay.

I didn’t have anyone to help me with my luggage because maintenance wasn’t in the building at check in time; however, Emmy more than made up for that with her reaching out and staying connected to ensure the trip was amazing.

The location was amazing, you can find everything around, the beach is a 5 minutes walking. The area is expensive but worth it. The bathroom didn’t have ventilation system.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location was a 2 min walk to the beach and right in the middle of everything. Parking is 20$ a night in a parking deck that’s right up the street from the hotel. I stayed for two days. At first I wasn’t happy because I hate to pay for parking but it was totally worth it and I’d definitely do it again. The hotel room was beautiful. Super spacious and clean! Everything also smelled super good. I loved the decor of the room. The only thing I will say is if you have trouble walking up or down stairs I wouldn’t book this. I don’t believe there were any elevators. In order to get to your room you do have to go up a flight of stairs and you will have to carry your luggage up there too. I definitely didn’t mind this though. The location and hospitality of the hotel made up for small things like that. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

We booked Ithaca last minute for one night pre-cruise stay on December 6th. The location is walking distance to south beach, shopping, CVS, nail salons plus it’s about 15 minutes drive to Port of Miami. The room was modern and comfortable however be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs. We appreciated the hotel’s responsiveness and accommodating our request for early check in and late check out. Overall this hotel was perfect for our needs.
