Should be named the Holiday Bin not in. The only positive about this hotel were the staff, especially Ana who was lovely. The room was filthy. Dry vomit on the carpet, filthy communal areas. The pool was closed and the surrounding pool area was like a building site covered in graffiti. We had to move hotels as it was so below standard with what we had to pay for it.

After that, I called Holiday Inn, and their staff immediately helped me. They told me to come over, arranged parking for my car, and safely kept my belongings until my room was ready. They also gave me an early check-in, which made everything much easier and stress-free. The valet service was excellent, and overall the hospitality was amazing. I truly loved my experience at this hotel and I 100% recommend Holiday Inn to everyone. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable!

And they only provided 2 bass and one umbrella for the beach and wanted us to pay $65 per day for our kids. The breakfast staff were mean, we asked them for bowls to warm the cereals for our kids and they refused to give it to us because they wanted us to pay for their breakfast for 30$. The guy who gives the chairs and the umbrella in the beach told us to give him 40$ only instead of 65 but when the manager was there he wanted us to pay $65. The supervisor was very rude and came and asked our kids to stand up and return the chairs even though the worker told us $40. For sure he stole the money but then lied to the manager and tried to convince him that was not true. Everyone spoke only Spanish and they barely understood any English. Worse experience ever.

I didn't have a beach view opened the blinds to discover a wall with windows. Went to tale a shower and the shower fixture fell off the wall n hit me in the leg really ! Overall the hotel was under remodeling so it was not very appealing

The property is old and rooms / bathrooms need an update. Lots of broken or damaged furniture. The side chair and ottoman was so stained it was gross so we asked to be moved and the other room was just as bad. The walls were extremely thin and we heard every little noise. Even opening blinds in rooms above or to the sides of us was so loud as if it was in our room. They were doing exterior construction and originally they put us in a room one room down from the construction and they were jack hammering the building's concrete exterior for repairs. Why they would put us 40 from that construction boggled us. Others near our room complained as well. And there was a mandatory $43 per day beach charge I wasn’t anticipating and the hotel parking was $49 per day. I was there 7 days so it quickly added up. At this time I would not recommend the property until they make the needed improvements.

The majority of the staff were friendly. The hotel was very tired looking. The air conditioning didn’t work properly in our room despite us moving to another room after the first room we were offered the air conditioning unit was really loud. There was exterior work being done which wasn’t ideal. The outside toilets for the pool were broken, the hotel bar closed early and at different times.

Staff were rude! The rooms are absolutely disgusting. Dont walk barefoot on the nasty damp carpets! Elevator inspection was out of date by 6 months. Wouldnt let me get just oatmeal for breakfast. Either I paid 24.00 per person for a nasty buffet or they wont let you eat!

Lobby is nice and modern. Room was fine other than scaffolding outside window due to construction. Interior halls and doors need modernization. Pool area and tiki bar are nice as is the beach with 2 beach chairs and umbrella provided. A bigger breakfast menu would be nice if not paying for buffet. Had to request housekeeping and towels around 3pm.

This place was horrible. Filthy property is very outdated. The property has a mildew smell as soon as you enter the room and our room was entered while we were out contacted the front desk to ask who was in our room and why and they thought it was comical and never reported back to us. We felt very unsafe and still have not received any type of update. I would never stay here again.

Ms. Ana (frontdesk) is very accommodating and nice. The room is clean. Yamile S is nice too. It is so nice that you have choices - pool or beach.

Ignored customers concerns.

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. It’s not a hotel. It’s a motel. Everything is un clean in the room. The will not clean the café maker not working. The people was next to me in the room. They were so annoying scary they were drunk, screaming, dancing, laughing. I contact the front desk and they didn’t do nothing. It was horrible stay I paid for three nights. I left the second day. I couldn’t wait until the sun comes up to leave and go back to Jacksonville.

This is a very nice property and reasonably priced. There’s direct access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. The lobby bartender is very friendly and popular with the guests. We did have an ocean view that was mostly obstructed by the palm trees in the pool area. The property is under construction so I’m excited to see the property once it’s finished. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

The front desk staff were also not friendly at all and acted like helping guests was a problem. I was told that parking was included, but later I was charged extra for parking anyway. I was also informed that breakfast was included, only to find out later that it actually wasn’t. Between the hidden fees, the incorrect information about parking and breakfast, and the poor attitude from the front desk staff, this was a very frustrating stay. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location of this hotel was great--right on Miami Beach with a tourist bus stop about a block away. But the property is showing its age for sure. The tile around the bathtub was cracked and the tub itself didn't drain well. The pool is unheated, so the water was very cold. But the staff was lovely, the beds comfortable.

when we travled to Miami beach the weather was very cold. We did not realize the hotels in Miami do not have heat. We requested extra blankets and towels and it took a very long time to get these. We also went to their restaurant. The food was ok but the service was terrible. We were seated. It took quite a while for someone to take our order. Once our order was taken and arrived, we never saw a server again. WE had to get their attention to get our bills. We were not imnpressed

I have to say I like the hotel I like the atmosphere. It’s a little old school, but I enjoy it more than staying at a resort because the employees each year that I go each and one of them, including KAIm Natalie, Maria, and the restaurant which is like an old Holiday Inn restaurant paradise but these people give you a consistently spacious hospitable feeling like they own the place. I’m the owner of a business and the employee say everything. God bless them and everyone else housekeepers everyone keep the place exactly the way it is.

The biggest thing that negatively impacted our stay was the construction. At 900AM every morning on the dot loud banging and drilling, that would go on for most the day. No previous notice was provided that the hotel was under construction. I would have appreciated a heads up and a discount. The staff were lovely and the direct ocean/beach access was amazing. Once construction is done I would rate it much higher.

Hope I have enough room, first you need to take down that deceptive picture you advertise for this hotel, its fake, next we had bad A/C entire stay, they tried 3 time to fix it (no good), the ocean front view had palm trees blocking the view entirely. No balconies, very badly antiquated place, very old & outdated, doors dont work, old dirty carpeting, elevators slow with outdate certificates. Front desk assistant manager Anna was nasty and very rude, pool is not heated, ice cold, cant use, place needs a facelift. Work on building very disruptive and noisy. Never even knew they had a restaurant because it looks closed and they don't tell you about it. Tripping hazards everywhere, and then the resort fee, it wasn't a resort it was dump. Very dissatisfied.

Absolutely disgusting from the room to the restaurant. We are surrounded in an empty restaurant surrounded by surety tables, crumbs all over the floor, and food on the seats. The rooms were no better. They did not look like had been wiped down or vacuumed. The bath tub also felt like it had an “air bubble” in it while trying to shower. We left after 1 night instead of our original 4 night plan.

Need improvement on air conditioning. Room was hot! The attendant isn’t paying attention to guest when they have been checked in already for the beach chairs and umbrella. My son and I was checked in together but when I was leaving to go back to the room the attendant stopped me to ask if I wanted to rent the chair that I was using. Please note: my son wasn’t leaving he remained on the beach. I was the one being approached to pay. Also the attendant is closing the beach before 4pm while other hotels allow their guest to remain on the beach longer. Please extend the beach time!

I stay here every year because it’s the best of the still-affordable hotels on the boardwalk. The rooms are fine, the access to the beach at sunrise is easy, and in December, when I’m there, breakfast opens 10 minutes after my sunrise swim. The women who run breakfast, Keira among them, make you happy to meet the day.

Everything was great! We stayed one night before sailing on a cruise. Hotel staff allowed us to check in early to put our bags away and change so we could spend the afternoon exploring. Highly recommend!

The check-in process was very smooth. Haydee was very personable and professional and made me feel welcomed. The view from my room is amazing. My room was spotless! I would definitely return to this hotel again.

Overall, this is an okay hotel. The ocean view is not worth paying extra. Our ocean view from the 6th floor was mostly obstructed by trees and the windows were quite dirty. We were placed in a room next to a family with a very young child who cried every morning at about 6am. This was a couple’s trip for my girlfriend’s birthday, so we requested a room change even without an ocean view. We were told there could be no room changes aside from an emergency. The next morning, the noise from the crying baby was followed by extremely loud construction noise at 7am happening right outside our room. Once again we approached the front desk and asked for a room change away from the construction, and they told us the construction is happening all around the building’s exterior and they cannot guarantee a quieter room. We were not willing to deal with this for another two nights, so we asked for a refund for the remaining nights and the hotel was kind enough to grant us the refund which I do appreciate. We booked another hotel elsewhere for our last two nights. Overall, not a great experience. The hotel itself is mediocre. The rooms are clean but small and outdated. The pool was a bit dirty, but you couldn’t enjoy it anyway with the brutal construction noise taking place 5 feet away. The breakfast is an extra cost but it was actually pretty good. Most of what you pay for here is the beachfront access. I would not stay here again nor recommend it. You get what you pay for in Miami Beach!

The sunrise is breathtaking. The property is well kept.

I suffered a pain to my left leg and in need to Tylenol. I went to use the phone in the room to contact the front desk. The pain was very severe. The phone in the room did not work. I even checked the connection. Nothing. I then called the hotel from cellular phone. I reached the from desk and was told please hold. I was on hold for over 53 minutes. No one responded. I ended up in my painful condition to go to the lobby. Two persons at the counter with no guest to tend to. I advised the lady at the counter of my situation regarding the phone and the need for Tylenol. I was told “cvs “ is down the street. I again told her of my severe pain and limited ablilty to walk. She replied that she would get the phone repaired. I had to force myself to walk to the cvs. The pain was so bad I called an uber and was rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital. I was there for over 9 hours addressing and diagnosing the cause of my pain. I returned back to the hotel with the same severe pain. I requested a wheel chair and was told by the person at the counter that she did not know and I should ask in the morning. Did not even offer a office chair with wheels. I had to get to my room in extreme pain. The next day I called the front desk again. After waiting over 15 minutes I spoke to the front desk. I shared my concerns about the phone, the Tylenol and wheelchair. This person advised she would send up a wheelchair and have the phone repaired. A short time later a wheelchair

The hotel is under some construction so you hear a lot of unpleasant noise. The coffee maker didn’t work and we had to wait over a hour for replacement. The is no entertainment not even music by the pool. They definitely can improve on that and let guests know that is construction during the stay.

There's nothing any other hotel in this area would offer Omar at the outside bar was great I would come back because of him I didn't like the fact that the breakfast buffet wasn't included in the stay because it was like any other free breakfast you get at choice hotels on the road some were even better plus the food you did order felt like it was frozen food but there's other food choices nearby also we were charged a resort fee and we didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities like the pool or outside beach chairs because of very strong winds and our room wasn't cleaned for 3 days but you're close to everything and a decent stay with tentative staff it's home base to everywhere else you wanna go

It was great but it doesn’t really offer cheaper parking the valet said there is only them or the parking across which was more expensive . The hotel was loud, there was a little construction, a lot of loud banging, music that could be heard from the room and we were on level 8 .. just didn’t make me feel too relaxed. One time someone came to clean the room when we left bc other days we had the do not disturb, the toilet seat was left up and the door was left open which was unacceptable, what if someone would have came in and took something. I still haven’t verified that something wasn’t taken but it was inappropriate , otherwise I did like most of the service

The unsanitary conditions of the room was unbearable. Triggered my respiratory allergies very moldy and a bad smell. No ice machines working on any floors and no toiletries replenishment available. Still awaiting for my 3 night refund

The room was clean, Beach on back of property was great. The one thing that I had trouble with is getting into early access as promised by front desk, after calling early and requesting as I had restaurant reservations. Was told I had four people ahead of me and I would have to wait because rooms where not ready around 12-1pm but once I left the property I received a text from the hotel that my room was ready with 10 minutes later which was so annoying.

Customer service above and beyond. We pulled up front and the two concierges had my luggage all on a cart and into the hotel before I even got out of the vehicle. They did this with smiles on their faces and assured us they would keep our luggage till our room was ready. They had our room ready by 10:30am. Amazing customer service. The only bad thing I could say about this hotel is the price of the breakfast. We we told it wasn’t included in our stay and it would be 30.99/person yet they told our other party it was 24.99/person. Not sure why it was a different price. Still way too expensive for my taste. The property was very nice.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many places around the world! And believe me, I’ve never been welcomed with such kindness, starting with the valet parking gentleman and especially Haydee. I truly believe that if everyone were like her, travel experiences would be so much warmer and better. 10/10! I’ll definitely be back—the hotel is very comfortable and right by the sea! What more could you ask for?

Hotel was amazing great staff and great hospitality. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and did a wonderful service. The breakfast was awesome and for the price is not bad at all. The one guy as a pool attendant was very helpful when I asked what are things my husband and I can do around the area. The bar tender were really nice guys and were amazing drinks. I recommend staying at this hotel if I could rate it a 20 out of 10 I would. The parking valet were very good at their job. They went above and beyond with their service. I love how we had quick access to the beach and the room we chose was such a great choice. We picked the oceanfront one and you can literally see the ocean from the floor we were at. This experience was an unforgettable moment I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Overall it okay I wish the checkout is by 12pm not 11 am. What I like the staff where nice they did let us to stay until 1pm also I really like the location it’s right next ocean that’s priceless. The down side in hotel the elevator it’s very slow

It would be nice to have more options for food, the menu is very very limited. There was more alcohol than food. And also the tate that leqds to the beach needs to be fixed. We got stuck outside a few times. So did other people.

The property was average at best, the website claims there is parking for guest on the property. Unfortunately it’s not even close to being true, they charge you $49 a day for the valet service. It’s a joke to them when you question this. The hotel itself is very outdated and while most of the staff cannot speak English it was tough getting an answer to the questions or concerns I had.

Unfortunately the beach was not all that great too much seaweed and the water was brown you really had to get very far out to be in the blue water. The pool was closed the 2nd day we were there due to much chlorine so we had to use the pool of the hotel next door. It was an older hotel other than that the stay was fine.

I stay here with out knowing there was a construction on the property the buffet is not that great my room was 624 and I had a liking water problem I try to use the phone the phone was not working when I tell the front desk they told me they can’t do anything about till next day I love holiday inn in general but this time was not good

This ocean front resort is worth it’s weight and gold from the ocean entrance itself to the bar, to the available breakfast servings, you will not be disappointed with your stay here.

The hotel was making a few renovations but that made sense for the summer. We requested adjoining room and did not get them, the pool closed unexpectedly on our last day and the bar by the pool seemed to be closed the first few days we were there. However, the value for the price here has been great for many years. A nice hotel on the beach, with good food options, a gym, and a reliable valet cannot be beat for this price. The staff also do a great job to help when possible.

This is a good property to stay in for an overnight. Anything more than that I don’t feel is optimal. I booked here because of its convenience, but if you’re staying for a while you’re going to be traveling around for your wants and needs. The grounds staff and housekeeping are amazing. Very accommodating. The front desk will NEVER answer the phone so you need to go down to the desk to ask even the smallest question. We were there during very loud construction on the outside of our room which is no fault of theirs, but definitely would’ve changed my mind about choosing this location. Housekeeping staff are terrible Mariam and Rosamita please be carefully of these two ladies that are cleaning your room. Great hotel and location but the staff are making people not wanted to return for a second visit. I would Not recommend I spend 5 nights in room number 728 and didn’t get any sleep in the room during my stay. I don’t have any problems with sleeping. Hint hint! Stay away with your family!

It was good

I stayed for two nights, very good hotel, good location, the rate is good with the quality of the hotel, I only had one problem, the bathroom was clogged, but they fixed it immediately so I could bat, and the breakfast was very bad for what they charge. I wanted to extend it for another night, but they didn't give me any, they put a lot of obstacles in my way, and in the end I had to leave. For the rest, everything was fine.

We were a few hours early for check in. We were going to leave our bags with the concierge, but the really sweet girl who checked us in found 2 rooms available right then. They were SO BUSY with large groups, yet she still took the time to get us in early. Very generous!

Newly renovated and clean. Great beach access. Walls a very thin can hear everything around you. Food choice limited if you dont want to spend $25 on the breakfast buffet.

The property was very clean. The beach access with chairs and umbrellas was so convenient, well managed and clean! The pool area was very clean and the men working the towel stand were quick to help people struggling to open umbrellas or clean up after the wandering iguanas! Beds clean and comfy. Rooms cleaned daily. Quiet at night! Close to many restaurants! Great place to stay!

Estaba en un plan de familia y rente una habitación que mirara el mar, siempre que voy a la playa. Me aseguro que mi habitación tenga vista al mar. Cuando llegamos, no nos entregaron la habitación y nos tuvimos que ir cuando ya regresamos en la noche nos dieron la habitación, y mi sorpresa fue que me dieron una, pero mirando las palmeras, ni siquiera pude mirar el mar, el checking Super lento Pasar. Esperamos hasta las cuatro, y todavía a esa hora no estaban las habitaciones listas fueron muy lentos a la hora de hacer el cheque

I had a good experience with my stay here, the food is really good and the drinks were also great. Staff members were nice and welcoming. Also our room was cozy and house keeping did a great job.

Excellent location for the beach. Good pool. Excellent staff. The hotel is a bit dated. For the price it was a good deal. Check in and check out were easy. The wait for the elevator always seemed to take a long time and was crowded, often requiring us to wait for the second or third elevator. That being said, I would definitely stay here again.

It was so noisy because of the construction. It is not understandable why they are doing construction on holiday season! So annoying!

My stay was good, we love this hotel but the bed was not comfortable, killed my back and ribs… the water changed temps during the shower and got way too hot for my 7 year old… he was frightened… the staff is always great and helpful

--- **Disappointed by the Overall Experience** I stayed at the Holiday Inn Miami Beach with hopes of a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. One of the biggest issues was the ongoing *construction*, which felt constant throughout my stay. The noise made it incredibly difficult to rest. Adding to the chaos, there was a steady influx of large groups—mostly teenagers from South America—who arrived in droves, seemingly overwhelming the hotel’s capacity. While I understand that group travel is common, it felt like the staff’s attention and energy were primarily directed toward managing these groups, leaving little support or service for other guests. Due to the disruption and lack of rest, I requested a late checkout to recover a bit of comfort before leaving. Unfortunately, I was told no, without any consideration of the circumstances. Overall, the hotel may be in a great location, but the combination of relentless construction, an overextended staff, and the lack of basic guest accommodations left me disappointed. I hope management takes these concerns seriously for future

Propperty was not bad, and staff was friendly the problem was construction during our stay and loud related noises (Hammering) since early in the morning.

last day of our day, one of the window was cracked, and a few pieces of glass fell in the room. The front desk offered to move to a new room, but it was too much at night to move everything again. The windows were taped because the Construction guy was working on something but then again you shouldn’t have rented those room out when there’s a work in progress.

Me and my wife we stayed during the 4th July week 2025 every thing was amazing special the breakfast really delicious. I wanna say a big thanks to Maria she work' s at the restaurant.
