    Understated charm I was staying in a corner unit larger queen with a couch. Bright sunny close to cute restaurants, yacht club, 15 minute walk from the beach, across a street. From Trader Joe’s. Great pls e for longer term rental in a residential area.

    The bathroom was dirty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable along with the pillows, and the bathroom was quite dirty upon arrival. I even found a crumb of food in the bed. It was also quite loud so difficult to sleep, but that was to be expected.

    Cozy, Clean Hotel with Excellent Service in Miami Beach! I stayed here for one night from May 16th to May 17th and was extremely satisfied. I checked in at 8:00 PM—a hotel representative was on-site, and the staff was very polite. After filling out a quick form, I received my key card right away. As I understood, the hotel doors lock at midnight, but a staff member is always on-site and will open the door if needed. The lobby features great complimentary amenities for guests: a water cooler, an ice machine, and a coffee maker. I was especially pleased with a nice bonus: in the morning (until about 9:00 AM), they put out free fruits and granola bars in the lobby. The room with a full/queen bed and a walk-in shower looked fresh and very clean, with absolutely no odors. All the appliances worked flawlessly; the room had a well-functioning air conditioner, a fridge, an iron, and a closet. The bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). The bed was very comfortable, and it was completely quiet at night, allowing for a great night's sleep. Finding the entrance to the hotel was no hassle at all and took very little time (we didn't have a car, so we didn't use the parking). There is a nice pool on the property with restrooms located right next to it, which is super convenient. Checking out at 11:00 AM took literally one minute—I just returned the key cards to the front desk. I definitely recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail!

    The sheets and bedding were stained and the fitted sheets were worn out and had lint balls. The rug in the room was stained and had somewhat of a sticky residue. The bathroom was not as pictured. It looked like a jail bathroom, with dirty grout and a toilet that didn't flush properly. Also, the irons provided are not real irons. They hardly warm up and leave clothes still wrinkled. I honestly would not stay there again.

    This was a nice spot for what I needed it for. I went to a convention which was about a 5 minute drive from the room, which was excellent. The staff was really friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It was hair everywhere which freaked me out. I’d say bring your own towels. Trader Joe’s is right on the corner. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and a Ross right on the corner. The ironing board and iron were also very tiny. It took forever to iron my clothes. Other than that, I was ok with the stay. No bugs, air conditioning and it was quiet. I’d definitely go back again, I’d just bring my own towels and steamer for my clothes.

    Good location. Building was old, not really maintained. Carpet was grubby. If you want your clean, you have to request. Two 249ml water bottles free IF YOU ASK, otherwise you get it at the lobby from the dispenser. One time I asked for bottled water the male reception pointed to me the water dispenser. I said no, I want bottled water. Very confusing the building had the name Variety Hotel, then there is Churchill Living and then Global Suites at the Apex. Which one is it?

    Air conditioning was effective, but VERY LOUD on any setting. Cold water bathroom sink handle was partially disconnected and needed repair. Bathroom floor tile needed a good scrubbing when I arrived. And shower stall should have a caddy or built-in cubby to store shampoo, body wash and hang wash clothes. It's stylish to have uncluttered shower walls, but it's totally impractical.

    Not much Horribly expensive parking in the area No valet area smells of rot. Worst beds I’ve ever tried. The beds, old everything no parking and valet down the block is $45 a day for a car $65 for an SUV There are plenty of fake reviews here so don’t think this is anywhere near a 4 star hotel it’s 2 star at best

    The front desk attendant told us to park in the valet which was for another hotel. There wasn’t any parking for the actual hotel. The toilet seat in the room was broken. We told the front desk and they moved it around a little then said it was fixed. My husband had to fix it. The only good thing was the distance to the beach.

    The staff on the last day she almost kicked me out of my room because she told me that I have to pay for staying some extra hours up to 2 pm when I asked her teammates all 3 guys and the approved me to stay with confirmed email was sent to me she was still insisting on me leaving the hotel and screaming at me then she was okay this person who sent you this email will lose his job because he’s not doing good at his job but honestly speaking she’s the only person who makes me feel uncomfortable and unhappy the rest of the staff was amazing from the start

    Room as expected (clean, new) with an awkward layout and noisy old style air conditioning. Billing experience was horrific. A few hours before check in they ask you for copies of your credit card, ID and personal info. Lack of luck I traveled with another card and was denied access to the room for 90 minutes. Finally the receptionist took a photocopy of my credit card and ID (again). A few days later my card number was fraudulently used in Miami. Cannot be just a coincidence.

    Parking was confusing and expensive so be prepared to pay $50 a day. The place was really clean and it was nice but I don’t think it was worth $500 a night. If they lowered the price a lot I would probably stay there again. Overall though it was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

    The location was one of the few things that was as advertised. At the end of the bay side of Lincoln Road, across the street from a Trader Joe's, close to shops and restaurants. No daily room cleaning, even when requested. Noisy ac unit. Basic room, no desk, not enough electrical outlets. Breakfast: coffee, no cream, fruit if lucky. Check-in:: entered info on a tablet, by me.

    Luxury suites no way the staff was not friendly the pool was dirty the water pressure from the shower sucked it kept on leaving we had soap all over and had to wait for the water pressure to come back for us to rinse the place looked like it’s been with the same carpet for years the pictures on the internet do not go by it. The place looks nothing like it the restaurant there closed it was just nothing like I expected for the price they charged me.

    Not very many shops within walking distance. Parked car in garage next door so parking was not an issue. Had to go next door for late night snacks as there are none available. Would have been nice to have a vending machine. No microwave in the room. Had to take food downstairs to lobby microwave. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean although rug was stained and dirty looking. Staff were very nice. Altogether it was a good last minute stay for the price and area.

    If your looking for something cozy and reminds you of a mini apartment, this is it. Close to Lincoln street and stores you have the convenience of shopping, taking in the sites and relaxing from a busy day. Staff is professional and very attentive. They have snacks and water on hands in the morning and area is clean. The room is cozy and very clean. Bed is super comfortable. Its located near a busy intersection which is a bit lively at night if you're ok with that. Would recommend

Even Expedia called and pleaded for them to give me at least a partial refund or even a transfer of dates for even part of the reservation. They showed zero empathy and made a difficult personal situation even worse by being rude and dismissive. When I did some digging there are countless people online who have said the same thing. They are terrible to work with. I would never stay here.

Since we traveled to Miami specifically to rest and take a break from our routine especially as parents of a toddler who already experience limited sleep being woken up by direct sunlight at 6:00 AM was disappointing. While I appreciate the staff’s effort to accommodate us, the overall experience did not meet expectations for a restful stay.

    The privacy, and proximity to the beach and dining areas. The building felt secure. There was no traditional breakfast service, but having a kitchen made it convenient. The location was excellent — close to South Beach and within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Clearer communication before arrival regarding housekeeping since they didn't clean the room each day.

    the location was great . very close to everything , lots of restaurants walking distance , bus transportation to the beach , grocery store clothing stores filmore center , macys. they have a nice secluded pool area. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. they also stored our luggage so we could have lunch before heading to our cruise port. the place was very clean . a refrigerator could have been in the room . the building was a bit difficult to find . i think the address on booking is incorrect .

    Good location. EXCELLENT staff (front desk and housekeeping). Difficult to locate the hotel, as it seems to have several names. The check-in process was difficult: We had paid in full, but had to fill out endless forms on a tablet, none of which were populated with previous information. Apparently something went wrong, as we were contacted every day by phone and e-mail to provide our credit card information and billing address to unknown people - for "damages" and for our "extended stay" (which we did not want nor ask for). (Giving that information to random callers was NOT going to happen.) The wi-fi was truly awful. There was only decaf coffee. (Not a problem EXCEPT we were charged an additional "resort fee" for those amenities.) The room was stuffy and the windows did not open. And we only had housekeeping if we asked for it (we weren't told). I could go on...

    I didn’t like that I rented room a big room and they gave me a small room then I had to go downstairs and clean my big room and it took a long time to get my room then they gave me a big room but the AC didn’t work and the whole room smelled like mold …. and I got sick from it and all my belongings and my clothes was smelly like and I was itching the whole night… what can you do about it? Give me a discount or something money back. i’m a good customer. I stated before there like 3 or 4times.

    Found two different peices of hair in the bed. One curly, one straight. The headboard was velvet and very dirty. There was hair and particles in the corner of the platform that held the mattress. I didn't feel comfortable at all with the cleanliness of the room. We called ahead to say we'd be very late arriving and asked for a later check out. They were very nice at the desk and offered to let us stay at least two hours past check out, but they put us in a room with scaffolding right outside the window and workers came and began hammering at 8am. I begged them to stop and they did try to hammer a little less violently after that, but there was too much going on for us to sleep. Even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, housekeeping knocked at a few minutes after 8 to ask when we were checking out. Not anyone's fault, but the r smoke alarm went off twice with false alarm right about that time.. I got about three hours sleep. It was dreadful.

    Room was clean ..l like that they had water bottles in the room for us. The bed is super soft.The TV is super convenient with the ability to swivel in almost every direction. The only downfall is that the bathroom door wouldn't close.

    Check in process is long, their IT crashed which cased delays. They then made us fill in a dodgy online form, which blocked my bank card as they thought it was fraud. They took a photocopy of my bank card too which I was uneasy about. Hot water then failed in the building, so we had no showers. The staff were very unhelpful, repeatedly saying 'this can't be true, it's never happened before', thinking I was lying... No compensation was offered or anything to rectify the situation. On emailing the team, I was ignored. The hotel also doesn't have a direct dial, so you get put through to a call centre which you can't hear as the phone line is so bad, and they won't help you with any issues at the hotel, other than saying 'we'll email them for you' This is NOT Luxury, far from it. The photos make the hotel look much nicer than it is. I would avoid at all costs. The room was dirty, air con unit covered in dust. Not great.

    This is a spartan hotel, but the staff was friendly. The check-in was a bit slow. It seems like they need to get the process down, because they asked me to fill out some forms I had already submitted online. They do have some basic amenities, like coffee and offered some kind of breakfast bars. My room was technically clean, but stank of cigarettes. It felt like smoke had permeated into the walls or something and was never properly dealt with, or a prior guest had violated the no smoking policy? The mini-fridge and A/C were a bit on the noisy side as well. I didn't have food, so unplugged the fridge. The location was convenient for my needs. Definitely in a walkable area.

    I often visit South Beach and this was a lovely place to stay. The location is excellent - a few minutes walk from Lincoln Street, botanical gardens, groceries and other shopping and dining. It was easy to get to but the front door was a bit hard to locate on arrival because it's small and looks locked, but isn't. The staff was mostly very friendly and asked every day if anything was needed but through my time there, my TV was not working, and noone was willing to assist me with the problem, which was disappointing. The room was comfortable and clean (although the bathroom could use a little upgrade). The pool area didn't feel very accessible.

    Location is great, price is decent but this is in no way luxury. There is only the bathroom mirror, no full length mirror, on South Beach. So you will have to find out how you look in the elevator mirror. One accessible electric socket, so you’re only charging one device at a time or unplugging lamps and moving the bed to get to that plug. Otherwise all good.

    Yes! I definitely recommend this hotel, it had amazing costumer service, it felt welcoming, the pool is very nice, rooms are clean, there is a tv to watch shows, rooms are cool, and it’s in a place where you can go out and explore the city, that is surrounded by stores, food and activities. if I do come again to Miami, I will book again here!

    Basic -- noisy airconditioner, traffic noice, no glasses in the room, overall a bit shabby. The pool is about 1/4 the size it looks in the picture. The tables around give the impression there is a bar or cafe there, but there was nothing.

    The following morning I spoke with another person at reception in passing about the issues, Karmen. She immediately apologized and was able to have refridgerator delivered to all roooms and had the small room replaced with a small suite, all at no extra charge. She did this even though I was not really complaining but merely responding to her inquiry about the how the hotel was. Karmen went above and beyond not because she addressed our issues but that she did so even though I was not complaining nor expecting any resolution based upon what I had been advised the night before. The hotel was less than the standard I expected, based upon age and quality. I believe it has it's rating due to the fact it is a block away from the Lincoln Road Mall which is extremely convenient. The location and Karmen were the only things that really save the vacation.

    I liked the location. What I didn’t like were the lights in the hotel room didn’t come on sometimes during the stay. Nail clippings were on the floor. Stain in the floor towel, I wouldn’t have paid the amount I paid had I seen it beforehand.

    Great location, walking distance to Lincoln Road. Front desk staff was very helpful. We parked in a garage across the street instead of on the street. Traders Joe’s is across the street-very convenient. Lobby was nice with coffee and complimentary snacks. The pool was closed for part of our stay due to storm/water issues, and it was still not cleaned up after opening, so did not use it. Only constructive criticism I’ll add is that it would be helpful to have a few more towels available-2 regular towels per adult instead of 1. Would definitely stay again and recommend to folks visiting South Beach!

    Stayed for 2 nights, the room was smaller than expected but clean and the bed was comfortable. Our towels were not changed nor was our bed made up which is normal in Europe however, as we were only here for 2 nights that was ok. The hotel is close to shops, and the botanical gardens, and a 20 min (slow walk) to the beach. Easy to get to the main side such as downtown Miami or Brickell via uber or bus. Would recommend staying here if you're on a budget.

    I encountered an issue with water pressure in my room, but the director of housekeeping made sure to address my concerns. She also moved me to another room so that repairs could be made. The service was very good and the staff was very polite. I would definitely stay again.

    Our room had a VERY strong musty smell and no clean air circulation. That was an immediate turn off, but when I notified the front desk, I was informed that "it is a very old building" and the front desk has no power to do anything about any urgent issue. Front desk "staff" just sit there as third party faces and have to send an email or voicemail to get approval for the most basic services, which takes who knows how long to get a response. There was no housekeeping or on-call service available at 6pm, no air freshener or any basic supplies whatsoever. We specifically requested room service come in the morning as soon as possible and, of course, they did not come. The same thing happened to another guest. In addition, the stand up shower is so narrow and close to the ground it's impossible to take a shower without getting the entire floor wet. There is no counter space at all in the bathroom so good luck figuring out where to place toiletries as you get ready. No full length mirror either. A mini fridge and microwave in the room would have been a nice touch but NOPE, we had to use a shared microwave in the lobby which is nearly impossible to open after use without help. I would strongly recommend spending just a bit extra for basic service and comfort elsewhere even though this is in a very convenient central location.

    Pros- Keurig in the room. Access to coffee downstairs in the lobby if needed for refill. Table with two chairs to sit and eat/ hang out if you don’t want to be on the bed. Cabinet for your belongings and extra storage space. Cute little bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. IRON AND IRONING BOARD. HAIRDRYER CONS- NO MIRROR IN THE ROOM ( besides small one in bathroom.) Bathroom curtain isn’t long enough to hold the water in so, prepare for a puddle after exciting. Shades in the room but, could use curtains to black out the room a little more in the morning. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

    Cons - Dilapidated (literally rotting) old wood benches around the pool. There are no lounge chairs. No adironack chairs. Nothing comfortable at all. No pool towels out for use. The pool area is not up-to-par for Miami. It also closes at 5pm, isn’t heated, and the cement needs a pressure wash. The pool area was a huge disappointment for us as our itinerary had planned for some pool time.

    Parking is across the street in a parking lot that charges $40 per day so that needs to be factored in when making a decision here. Walks are thin and the person in the room above me paced back and forth all night, causing very little sleep. I reported this to the manager at the front desk at 6am and at 4pm when I return I had to report it again, causing me to wait about an hour for them to find me a new room. I was somewhat frustrated but glad they were able to move me. I would have thought to compensate me for my troubles but that didn’t happen. I did hear the receptionist speak to the woman in the room above me and heard her say she was sorry and didn’t mean to keep me up all night.

    The property did not have any valet, so parking was very difficult. There was no number located on the building and the name on the front of their door was not the same as the listing. Upon cleaning the room found small bugs, they were not bedbugs but they were still small bugs on the bed. Staff was friendly but unfortunately would not stay again.

    This hotel did everything I needed for me, a nice 1 night stay with good facilities! Had no issues checking in and Marina at the front desk was lovely to talk to. Also had a slight issue with accidentally locking my bathroom door; which Carmen at the front desk promptly helped me out with and was really nice to talk to :) All the services was good but I have to shoutout the staff for being extra friendly and helpful :)

    My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and on the first night we noticed that the sheets were dirty and had some hair and bugs on them, obviously used by someone else . But when we arrived that night it was after 12pm and we were very tired and didn't change rooms. The next day we found out that my husband had a skin allergy with large red and swollen areas, we contacted the front desk staff and explained the situation. But he said he had to contact headquarters and couldn't change

    Because of my expedia status, my room was upgraded and got late check out. Carmen was very accommodating.The location of the hotel was great, near the shops and eateries on Lincoln Road and walking distance to the Venetian islands and Miami beach. The bed was comfortable and the towels were plush. The room and furnishings were new. The bathroom was small and a bit quirky. To get hot water from the shower, you had to turn the handle just a bit. You got cold water when you turn the handle all the way (counter intuitive). Also, there was no shelf for the toiletries so we had to keep them on the sink and reach past the shower curtain to get them. But overall a great place to spend three nights.

    The location is quite good, very close to Lincoln Road & a short walk to Espanola. We were coming off of a cruise ship & they allowed us to check in a few hours early. The only issue we had was the water did not get real hot for showering. The bed was comfy. There is a lot of noise from the road & there is a lot of light that comes in the windows. I would definitely recommend a sleep mask & sound machine during sleep.
