The room doesn't have a phone. No even to contact the front desk or call the police. At midnight there was a lady being hitting by some man, they almost break the place down. Someone else contacted the police. Awful night for my family. And there were cockroaches around.

It's a cute hotel perfect for solo travelers. I felt very safe and it's so close to the beach and all the shops. Will come back!

No ac unit in individual rooms all rooms share the air through the vents paid 380$ for a room that is worth less than 100$ that was sad and I would never recommend that hotel to anyone, I left tried to get a refund but was no help so I got real upset and just left the room hotel whether just left

It was honestly better than what I expected. I literally wanted a place to sleep to catch an early flight the next day. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, there were even miniature toiletries, mini fridge and electric kettle . The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and warm which was comforting as I checked in close to midnight. The best part of this stay is the LOCATION! Smack right on Collins avenue! The only negative thing is the noise from the hallway when guest arrive or leave as the corridor floors are wooden. (And no elevator so you got to climb the stairs with your luggage.) But it was better than expected.

The room had bugs in there,staff ok, no kitchen, i will never stay there again. They also took a $100 off my card in addition to my charge of $608 and u want to know why.

Only location was good. That’s it. Shabby place , with old shabby furniture, the floor wasn’t very clean either. You check-in in one strange little hotel next door, then walk to this one. They told me I’m on the third floor but there’re only two floors. No AC thermostat was found anywhere either. It looks and feels like a dorm.

Very friendly and helpful staff, location at the heart of all the action. Easy walk to the beach, espagnola 1 block away and Lincoln Street 10 minutes away. Great location for a fast visit allowed us to explore and enjoy the area.great room size. On a busy street with no noise in the rooms. Rooms though extremely clean, we're dated. Furniture mix and matched have seen better days. Beds though very comfortable had poor presentation. No bed skirt just a mattress on top of box spring that was covered in plastic. Older building with alot of potential and charm, size of the rooms were excellent, but some details would merit a bit more attention in order to make the stay more memorable. Some plumbing issues in bothe rooms but manageable

This property is at thee bottom of the barrel ! Then entire hall way smelled like mold .. mold was physically busy in my room .. no water pressure at all .. no running hot water PERIOD . Very outdated setup rooms large but small uncomfortable bed with scratchy sheets blanket. Did come with a mini fridge which was nice. Bathroom toilet barely flushed. Water pressure in shower and hot water worked. Door looked like it had been kicked in before with broken unusable safety latch. Place is loud can hear through paper thin walls ceiling. People luggage rolling down hallways and bouncing down stairs cause no elevator. No free parking need to park at public parking around corner for 20$/day or pay 50$/day for in front of hotel No thermostat to control hot or cold so was kinda warm initially then too cold in morning and can smell other people smoking or eating cause of central vents. Would not come here again but was very affordable and near Port for cruise next day

This place is absolutely awful. In fact, I want a refund for at least half of it. I couldn’t stay the second night. The mattress was hard as a rock. There was no fitted sheet. Things were busted here and there. Paint chips falling off the ceiling. This isn’t even up to Third World standards

When I got to the hotel I was told that there was no parking for my car I let her know that I cannot stay here if I cannot park my car, I was told that I wouldn't get a refund if I didn't finish checking in... I let the front desk know that I would just have to contact my bank. How can you be expected to stay at a hotel without being able to park your vehicle. I would like a refund for my $356.

the location and the service provided by the staff air conditioning: my room had no air conditioning adjustment... it was only on one setting... it was extremely cold and there was nothing to be done... shower: just a thin stream of water and it took forever to heat up; bed linens: of SUPER LOW quality, not at all concerned with the comfort of the customer

nothing there was pubic hair piled in front of the toilet, only one towel for 2 people, and inch space left under the door to the noisy hallway. the pictures advertised are of the business next door. smelled like mold. dirty kitchen table/ handprints/ smears. POOR service at the desk next door, for there is no desk in the hotel I booked, spilled food and drink on the kitchen floor. loose garbage and dirty towels in a bathroom cabinet. no elevator. VERY NOISY. IS A HOSTEL TOO!

The location and the classic look The mattress was awful I can still feel the springs on my back ! A good nights rest in a comfy bed makes a world of difference…management or owners have missed the boat on this ! Because of the mattress not being comfortable I will not stay here again. So sad this is an issue being here in the USA.

I checked in with my family and was informed that our room was located in a separate building. Upon arrival, I found the building had no front desk—only an empty hall with a door that required a key to enter. Once inside, I was disappointed to see that the hallway was very dirty, littered with cigarette butts, marijuana remnants, and even the remains of dead cockroaches. Additionally, I encountered several intoxicated individuals leaving their rooms, and the strong smell of marijuana was pervasive. Given these circumstances, I decided to check out immediately. While I expected a basic level of quality, the description of a 24-hour front desk was misleading, as it was located in a different building.

Bathroom was disgusting Hallway to room was dirty, floor was sticky in hallway, bags of trash on the floor in hallway, dirty blankets in door way to prop it open!!!! No rag just 2 dingy towels, glad I had my own and I had alcohol and cleaning supplies because it was definitely needed

First room I was in smelled like weed. Asked to be transfered and was put in a nicer roomed with no smell. Overall room was clean, I had what I needed and service was exceptional. Thank you!

NOTHING Absolutely Disgusting. Tried to cancel due to feeling unsafe and the place smelled like drugs and a ton of construction. They refused to give me a refund. I called booking to see if they could help me with the matter and they could not refund me either. Paid $289 and could NOT stay there.

And one thing that I found absolutely disgusting was that my shower was running water that was brown tinted. I had to let it run for a while for it to run clear. Also, there is no way to control the air conditioning. The air was low relatively fine, but I like to adjust it, but there was no way for me to do so. The facility overall was very poor. I come to Miami a lot from out of town. But I will never book a stay at this property ever again.

The only reason I ended up at this Geneva place was because there was a mistake in my flight and I needed a last minute hotel until the next morning. I do not recommend it at all.

The check in and out was bizarre with completely indifferent employees. We had to wait for 45 minutes to checkout as a crazy woman without a reservation insisted she be given a room because she knew the owner, an entitled Canadian "professional traveler" (no idea what that meant) wanted to be given his room 4 x hours before his check-in time (he sucked as a person and that wasn't their fault, however they should have had him step-aside to assist us), a women needed toilet paper for her room, and another woman came in because her shower was freezing. The entrance felt completely unsafe. There was no guard or attendee and the front-door unlocked. The materials poor quality and anyone could push through with minimum effort. The hallway had the same used sheets and garbage on the floor for the entire stay that disturbingly looked like a sleeping person. The bathroom was from a prison. The floor was stained with dried sap looking circles. The sink had what appeared to be blood (most likely makeup). There was only cold water in the shower. The towels were stained and threadbare. However the bars of soap were surprisingly good smelling. The size of the room was fine. The mattress worn-out and uncomfortable. The bedspread faded and unappealing. It was put aside. The sheets were suspect... (we ended up using our beach towels instead of risking touching the sheets). The bed frame creaked and sagged deeply.

The guy did say he would refund the room at check out but his partner Selson who witnessed it claimed he didn't remember and only refunded the $50 deposit. Selson is Brazilian. They were chatting when I arrived. I'll never stay there again. I told the guy I could cancel because I purchased protection. Please refund me. Selson told me to contact you.

This Hotel is in a Perfect location. I stayed here because of a last minute issue. I think this hotel needs an update face lift. Elevator does not work. If they can do an update to this hotel they would easily make money back they are in a great location. They should consider it

What I didn’t like was the fact that the first night of arrival we had no electricity until about 2am, second is the staff that was at front desk said they gave me my deposit back but they didn’t, they showed me a receipt that was signed but it wasn’t my signature, I clearly showed them what my signature looked like on my drivers license and it sure didn’t match up even close…over all I’m not coming back

What I didn’t like was the fact that the first night of arrival we had no electricity until about 2am, second is the staff that was at front desk said they gave me my deposit back but they didn’t, they showed me a receipt that was signed but it wasn’t my signature, I clearly showed them what my signature looked like on my drivers license and it sure didn’t match up even close…over all I’m not coming back

It was very hot and muggy and creepy, couldn't find the wifi password and there were no staff around. Area is scary and weird.

I was extremely price sensitive, and I got what I paid for. It was a basic safe and somewhat spartan room with a sufficiently comfortable bed.

The property had roaches the bathroom was dirty the sheets was dirty with hair and other particles the front guy was being rude to us did not give us our deposit back because he did not communicate with us about parking even though I did not have a car and I did not park

1st it's cool for what it is before you check in... My was never cleaned... It's was black mode growing out the vent... Pressed body wash and shampoo... Floor were covered in dirt.... The house keeper saw me heading to complain at the front desk... she stopped me and assured me to give her 2 hours to clean it.. mind you it's already 5pm.. I noted the front desk and went out for 3 hours .. room still not cleaned...no wash rags ..hair still under the covers...Now it's almost 8:39 pm and u can't find any where else...So I had to request Pillow cases and cover so I coy sleep on top I've the Covers... Also the building controls the air .. so I Froze to death in a Black mold covered vent room and woke up feeling horrible as to I'm allergic to mold ... Stay safe y'all... Just don't stay here

To name a few problems: The door lock was broken. Window had cracks. Shower floor had cracks and shower head broke. Towels had stains and hair. The photos are misleading. Do not stay here.

Like convince of area. Beds very comfortable. Very nosy you can hear everyone walking down the hallway, slamming doors throughout the night. No coffee in the morning. It was ok for staying one night. If staying longer I don’t recommend.

This was the worst hotel ever the they lady Sandra was so slow and missed up my reservation people outside selling drugs and hanging out trash everywhere. The rooms are like a motel 6 no air windows don’t open there was a guy walking around in his towel it was crazy. Everything else was booked up due to rolling loud smh never again

Overall the stay was great but i very paranoid by the ppl hang around in the lobby because it was for bike rental ... but the door to hotel was lock you needed a key to get in.

This place was the worst I slept there 1 night with all my clothes on and I booked another place for the remainder of my vacation. No refund either. Waited in line for an hour to check in (only 3 ppl in front of me) noisy I could hear everyone talking through the vents. The walls had mold and the sink was filled with these insects. They should tear this place down because it cants be safe.

Bathroom need to be updated. Water didn’t drain good from tub and foucet

I know some of this was indicative of the spring break crowd, which I accepted more or less, but despite the slew of illegal activity and crowds of people not wearing masks in the lobby and stairwell, the management took issue with me trying to bring a bike in to my room over night. Otherwise the building was generally in very poor condition and A/C was not controllable, a steady flow of cool air slowly piped through a vent.

Honestly I complained to the front desk about my room and she didn’t say anything or wrote any comment to the management cause I try reaching them throw the app that I booked hotel and they said they didn’t get any complains. I’m so disappointed that I have spended money on something like this. The room was awfully dirty,the towels that they give us wasn’t even clean. The sheets that they have on the bed it’s disgusting,I got some rush all over my body. Same as my husband. We couldn’t even sleep cause of the noise. They also have so many people around that you don’t have idea what their deal is or what they’re dealing around and someone was keep knocking on my door at 3am in the morning

The staff were friendly, but the hotel hasn’t had an update in seemingly decades. The full set of towels on the first day of my stay, all had some long hair stuck to them. I had several long strands of hair stuck on me after a single wipe. Had to shower again and use a shirt to dry off. The walls were so thin that you could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. No beach towels were available. The hotel elevator was out of service. Though, there was no “resort fee” line item, but the “Taxes and fees” were much higher compared to anything on the mainland side. The only thing the hotel “has” was its location - nothing more. I would not stay there again.

A good location in Miami Beach. The water took awhile to get warm but besides that a good deal and great location. I did click for free parking. But when I arrived it was $30 per night. It in the small print I did not read, but hotels.com should only give me places with Free Parking if I asked for it.

The breakfast included was literally a giant variety of granola type bars lol

We never stayed it was so bad, it ruined our vacation we ended up flying back home that night because they wouldn’t refund our money and couldn’t get anything else at the last minute

It was dirty. Had no washclothes....only 2 towels and noisy building.
