    Our stay at Eden Roc was a perfect staycation for our family. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. We enjoyed the beachside loungers during the day and later on the poolside loungers. Service was phenomenal all around, from the front desk to both Nobu and Ocean Social to beach and poolside service. Food and drinks were delicious. There were activities for kids setup near the pool. They had a World Cup viewing area, which was perfect for my family as we are big soccer fans. I highly recommend it for your next getaway.

    Booked the floor to ceiling windows oceanfront suite. First room was in 4th floor couldn't see anything. Second room floor 12 had a roach in it. Third room 14th floor ended being decent. All 3 rooms were identical which is outdated. Didn't even have ABC on TV couldn't watch the playoffs. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful! That would be the only reason I webt back for the staffing was phenomenal!

    I reached out regarding several issues and concerns during my stay, and the response I received from Salvador Cortes was dismissive and sarcastic, offering little more than an insincere “sorry.” When guests are paying top dollar, they should be treated with professionalism and respect. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel does not live up to its pricing, and I will not be staying here again. I wish I had chosen the Fontainebleau down the street instead. Unfortunately, I learned that lesson the hard way. Save yourself the frustration and stick with a hotel that has a proven reputation for both quality accommodations and customer service.

    This is a stunning hotel with magnificent beach views. In my view though, the room was overpriced. Besides having a great view it was large. But, there was not appropriate space to lay out luggage. The room surprisingly smelled stuffy/stale. The hotel was very clean, but the room itself felt like it would have benefited from a bit of extra time in that department. The shower, while large, felt dingy. Not sure if the tiles/grout need to be freshened or if it was unclean. The valet staff and bell-hop were excellent. The front desk staff upon check in was no particularly friendly. It felt like they were going through the motions waiting for their shift to end. Later that evening, the front desk staff were much more helpful! I did inquire about booking a beach cabana but was told I had to book that from pool/beach staff. As a disabled woman, that was not helpful. Navigating outside to find staff to book this in advance was particularly challenging, so I did not book anything. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful and breakful was wonderful! Eden Roc was wonderful to experience once, but I don't think it was so amazing to justify the high price that I paid.

    We had a great experience but one thing that i want to point out it was i needed a microwave so i asked a receptionist so they said 30$ flat and i called after for microwave so they said 35$ so it was weird that 2 person said a different price and they charged 35$ after so it was weird for me and don’t drink there water bottle they will charge 14$ plus tax for regular water bottle

    Expedia required me to rewrite and resubmit my original review before it could be published. The version below removes details Expedia would not allow, but not the reality of the experience. This hotel is marketed as a luxury Miami Beach destination. It is not. The pool umbrellas were worn and frequently unavailable or unusable, leaving guests exposed to the Florida sun. At the beach, cabanas block a significant portion of the ocean view unless you are prepared to spend even more money after already paying premium hotel rates. Then come the endless extras. Fees. Surcharges. Add-ons. The final cost bears little resemblance to the impression created during booking. Everything seems designed to reach into your wallet one more time. The presence of large iguanas around the pool area was impossible to ignore. We repeatedly saw them around lounge chairs and garbage areas. Not exactly the image one expects from a property claiming luxury status. We even watched guests at checkout visibly surprised by the accumulation of additional charges on their final bills. That alone should tell management everything it needs to know about the guest experience. What frustrated me most was not any single issue. It was the feeling of being nickel-and-dimed from arrival to departure while receiving an experience that fell well below expectations. Luxury is not a lobby, a website. Save your money. Miami Beach offers far better options. We will never return. Ever.

    Eden Roc is in a great location. Property feels tired. Rooms need attention. We had an issue with the shower seal resulting in water leaking into the corridor / bedroom area. We flagged this twice but nothing was done. The daily cleaning service was extremely basic. On the day of check out we had a late flight and asked to use the gym showers - have always done this at other hotels - however there was a $75 fee per person to use the gym / spa changing room showers. Completely outrageous.

    Property quite dated. Bell boys and valet super helpful but front desk slow and unhelpful. No amenities to change shower pre fight if you have a late departure. Location quiet with very little around need a car if you want to explore.

    Property and amenities were excellent! Some staff a little uninterested in being there, mainly main bartenders which is the first thing you see when you walk in. Run bar like everyone else noon until midnight.

    Beautiful place, amazing beach and resort views from our room. Beds were so comfortable, our in room jacuzzi was everything. Everyone was helpful and kind. The entire vibe and ambiance is just what I needed after the longest Ohio winter ever. Also the passion fruit mojito made by the skilled bar tender at the main lobby bar was perfection! Couldn’t have been more pleased with this stay for my 40th birthday! will definitely book here again next time I visit the area !

    Loved our oceanfront junior suite looking right at the sand and ocean, balcony was great, room was well appointed and bed was super comfortable. Position was fantastic for exploring, sun beds being included was a big plus and having bikes accessible to ride around on was great. Will definitely be back. The sun beds should have umbrellas included with them in the price of the room, to charge extra for just the umbrella when you already get the two beds doesn’t make any sense. Food served at the pool/beach was average and expensive for the quality. The room could do with proper cleaning behind the desk and around the tops of the table and bar area.

    I booked through Expedia and already understood there would be approximately $153 in hotel-related fees. During check-in, I was offered a room upgrade and was verbally told it would be an additional $300. However, nobody explained that multiple additional taxes, occupancy taxes, and extra resort-related charges would also be added afterward. I was also charged for an espresso order that I never purchased. I had to explain the situation to the front desk, and thankfully they removed the charge, but it was still concerning to see incorrect charges appear on my bill in the first place. Seeing unexpected charges throughout the stay was frustrating, especially since I had already paid separately for food and drinks. I completely understand taxes and hotel fees exist, but guests should be clearly informed of the full expected total before agreeing to upgrades or additional services. Aside from the billing concerns, the hotel itself is nice and the location is great, but transparency and billing accuracy definitely need improvement.

    Beautiful property! Beautiful views! Perfect location directly on the beach. The staff is incredible. Christopher at the front desk provided exceptional customer service when checking me in and throughout my entire stay.     My daughter and I stayed here for her 18th birthday weekend. The entire staff was absolutely awesome. They began reaching out to me days in advance and helped me with resources to have the room decorated upon our arrival. Everyone we interacted with from valet, check-in and staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean with a perfect view of the ocean. The access to the beach and the staff there was really nice too. The Eden Roc is now the only place I'll stay while visiting Miami.

    My intentions were to relax at resort but ended up making plans to do things outside of resort. My recommendation would be to just shutdown for 2-3 days and pass the cost on to the Company buying out the resort instead of making your guests suffer & pay for those prep days! 😖

    Only downfall was that they were setting up for a conference so the pool was closed and we weren’t able to use the complimentary bikes. While the hotel was a five star hotel, we felt like we were staying in a convention center with the conference set up and branding everywhere. I’d assume this is not common but it totally changed our experience.

    Positives included a very large and clean room with floor to ceiling windows, a lovely balcony and magnificent views of the ocean; spacious bathrooms; fast and efficient elevators; a delicious fruit platter laid on for our arrival; delicious gelato at Cafe Ines. Negatives (IMO) included: bland almost minimal decor in the room; a stuffed mini bar which has taken over the mini fridge (which is therefore unusable); cheap and untasty coffee pods with powdered creamer (no room for dairy in the fridge?); way over priced restaurants and cafe/shop (though perhaps typical of tourist venues here rather than being specific to the hotel). The area is a little out of the way from culture, non tourist restaurants or shopping.

    A very big conference hotel aka we could not use any amenities during our stay. Please check or inquire if an event or buyout is happening prior to staying here, or you may end up paying to stay in a hotel that’s unusable. Management refunded us our resort fees but it was still disappointing that this wasn’t disclosed in advance that all pool decks would be closed.

We had to go all the way back downstairs to get a regular room key. Maintenance came about 20 minutes after while we were getting dressed and told us they needed to replace the lock. Carpets were also very dirty! Overall, the stay was not worth the money. Even in the best part of the property (the pool) the bar was out of all the ingredients to make HALF of the drinks on their own menu.

    The rooms were quite dated for the price point. Room was dusty and dirty unfortunately. Has a lot of potential however the attention to detail where it matters needs to be given some love. Amenities were great, food was good but again a bit over priced. Understand that it comes with the area. They compensated us for the resort fee for the room being dirty.

    Upon my arrival in the 11PM hour due to the storm, there was a full club happening in the lobby. Loud and overwhelming. I was given a room off a very sketchy hallway on the first floor and the key did not work. I went and forth to the front desk (exhausted) THREE times…still didn't work. Then they say “security” would be let me in and bring back my key…which sounds anything but secure to a female solo traveler. Front desk finally called a manager who found. Room on a higher floor. Finally in room at almost midnight. Key worked but room was hot, AC didnt work, bathroom was dingy (see tub) & I have no clue what they were doing to fire alarm (see pic). Asked for one your late check-out in the AM and Christian at front desk was rude, would not give me a chance to ask my question or explain. Just condescending & a no. Asked for a supervisor who clear was more senior and after listening to my need immediately changed my check-out. Rude front desk, dated room. Skip Eden Roc. Stay on Nobu side.

    Location was good, hotel general appearance was fine but the view from my room was of a dirty roof with items thrown on it. The overall ambiance of the hotel does not match the cost or the advertising. The staff were average. Fire alarm went off twice, once at 8am on a Saturday morning when I had to leave my room and go outside and again that evening. I ordered ice to my room which took 35 minutes and arrived in a plastic bag.

    This is a very nice hotel on Indian Beach. The room is very spacious. The food at the restaurant is good and there’s plenty of amenities. The service from the staff could have been better, the pool staff and restaurant staff seemed disgruntled. The bathroom in the room had a broken lever on the shower and seemed a little outdated but the place is nice and clean. Great option for a nice stay in Miami.

    I have a few issues, first of all at check in they didn't inform us if we had breakfast included, it happened to be quite cool and the room was freezing. When we called to find out how to turn on the heat, they had no idea, but they were willing to send an engineer to our room. This was late at night. We finally got extra blankets brought up to our room. There were no bathrobes (this was a suite) and the bathroom was large, but poorly appointed. We have stayed at the Nobu side of the Hotel and that spoiled us I guess. There were no complimentary water bottles but there was a coffee maker. We had to buy water. I think if you have a coffee maker, provide coffee the water should be provided too.especially at over $500 a night.

    On arrival it took forever to speak to a receptionist, long queue and only two staff on. Our room was large with a comfortable bed had we only been able to sleep. We were disturbed by trucks reversing all night with beeping alarms. Skips were constantly being filled. The glass doors onto the balcony had not been cleaned and were filthy. The balcony itself was a disgrace. Staff handled our issues well and enabled a late check out to suit our flight time. Only the electronic locks on the room weren’t updated and it took an hour to resolve and get into the room! On a positive note, the proximity to the beach and the pool was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast was good with everything you would expect, we had breakfast included, good job as the bill was over $100 for two people which was mistakenly added to our final bill at checkout. Location wise, apart from the beach access, there is nothing nearby. It was a 50 minute walk to Lincoln Rd where there were shops and restaurants. This is a busy hotel with lots of conferences and events going on. Sorry but we won’t be returning, a small hotel Mid to South Beach is the best option.

    Lovely lobby, nice design of the grounds, well maintained and in good order, and further well-staffed. However, and keep in mind this is a $700+ room. Two medium sized rough towels is not expected for this price of room, something bigger and not rough is expected. A luggage porter that just drops your bags with you at the check-in desk and then leaves with his tip is not expected at a hotel of this caliber. A check in experience where the Front Desk insisted my card must be the issue and I used three cards and then kept saying I was the problem finally got themselves in order when I refused to chip my card or any other card after already using 3 valid cards with credit lines sufficient. And to top it off the guest wifi was not working - there was no internet connection (and I rebooted, reset etc. 3 different devices). The restaurant staff was great for breakfast and good at Ocean Social. But all the negatives/below expectations made it all add up when you consider the cost to a meh/okay.

    I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for everything even after paying such a significant amount of money to book the room. The employees at Ocean Social wasn’t that friendly. I don’t know if the reason is because I’m “not white” let’s put it that way. They made my wife uncomfortable and that made me unhappy. The pool was giving problems so we couldn’t go in and it was annoying. It’s weird for a guest at a hotel be required to pay to use the hotel’s beach umbrella. All these things need to be corrected. I’m not recommending anyone to go here.

    TERRIBLE CUSTMER SERVICE!! Very disappointing stay with my boyfriend. We were visiting Miami for my birthday weekend and my partner arranged for flowers to be delivered to the room the day of our arrival as a surprise, the flowers were no where to be found- not in the room, not at the front desk, no one could tell us where they ended up. The flower delivery company sent a proof of delivery to the Eden Roc concierge, who seemed to have "misplaced" the flowers? I don't even know how that happens? No one was apologetic or offered to help rectify the issue. When you pay $800 a night you would expect better service? Furthermore we had an issue with an outlet by a coffee machine where the coffee water spilled into an outlet and the outlet started to smoke. We called downstairs to have someone come up and ensure everything was alright in the room but there was ZERO sense of urgency and we basically had to beg them to take a look. Lastly, there was just poor communication all across the board we were told we had complimentary access to the sauna, steam room and cold plunge at the spa as guests of the hotel- which we did not. When we arrived at the spa they said "yes - you have access for $75/pp??" Doesn't seem complimentary to me. I have stayed on south beach many times and can assure there is much better places to spend your vacation and money than this disaster of a hotel.

    The hotel is quite large and welcoming. It is a bit outdated in the rooms. Bathroom is very nuce his and gers vanities and seperate shower from toilet. Water temp is very good as well rainforest showers.Housekeeping is very good and attentive.

    The front desk is always fantastic. Housekeeping was extremely rude when I asked for additional pillows and blankets for my children. Fernando yelled at me and told me the hotel was full, which it was not. The pull out bed and couch cushions had stains and marks all over it.

    The negative- the hotel is old. The rooms are bare, we had. 10-12’ wall with nothing on it, no sofa, desk, etc. Our room balcony door didn’t lock (traveling with kids), our bathroom door handle was non existent, the shower handle fell off on first use, the bathroom mirror was coming out of the wall, the tv didn’t work for the first 3 days we were in the room, and we had no robes, not enough towels for 4, etc. it just felt like the standard was low and in need of updating. The view is beautiful, the room is dingy.

    We had an amazing vacation at Eden ROC, the immediate access to the beach, the friendly staff and the location of the hotel. The only down side was that the breakfast lacked variety and the beach umbrellas came at an extra cost. Overall it was a wonderful stay and a beautiful hotel.

    Pillows are way to soft and the bed is like sleeping on a brick. Upgrade to a junior suite was very nice. The buffet is good. $38.00 if not included in your room package. Didn't like the mandatory 22% gratuity on the buffet even though it was covered in the price of the room. Had I had to purchase it separately, there would have been a discussion about that high of a gratuity for bringing a cup of coffee and juice.

    Everything was great but the bathroom fixtures are not the best. Stiff operation of faucet handles, tub wouldn't drain, shower leaks water onto the floor. Also, I could do without the constant loud throbbing disco music at the poolside. Otherwise, excellent service, friendly staff.

    Paid $900 to stay in a resort view, one bed, sub par room with bare minimum amenities for one night. I already paid $630ish for that room on Expedia and the hotel charge me another 250. They held it for incidentals and never returned it. I barely was in the room did not incur any damages and it was pretty spotless when I left, did not take any food or drink, did not charge anything to the room either sothere’s no reason they should’ve kept the 250. I called to see if someone could help and clarify the charges, and the person was very unprofessional disinterested in helping me and hung up the phone.

    Due to the freezing temperature inside the room, I had to keep the balcony door open overnight to let warmer air in. This caused significant noise from outside, and I was unable to sleep properly.     Christopher on front desk went above and beyond. Only issue we had was at breakfast when friends of other guests decided to sit with their friends mid breakfast which basically meant right on top of us at our table. That much so that you could not get out of our seat that side of the table. We did leave a handbag after we left which was kept safe for us to collect after our cruise which we really appreciated. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

    That being said, what let the hotel down were a few policies and generally the standard of accommodation; for example, a late check out was only available to confirm on the day of check out, up to 90 minutes later. Also, the hotel would not allow us to have complimentary access to a shower or anywhere to properly change after check out. We had a 11am checkout and 10pm flight so spending the day by the pool was near on impossible with nowhere to freshen up. They wanted $75 per guest to shower in the spa! The furnishings in the room need modernising. The carpet was worn, the shower didn’t drain and the patio furniture consisted of two plastic rattan chairs which were extremely dated. And a concrete block for a table…! It’s not what you’d expect for a 4* hotel. Finally, there was no dedicated children’s area so there were children in every pool, not ideal when you want some peace and quiet and there is easily space to allocate one pool for children only. I would recommend this hotel if you would be happy with a 3* hotel not 4*, but the staff were absolutely 5*!

    Had a very average room the second visit next to the Maids room making early morning noise as well as roof from a service room above the room. Didnt sleep for three nights. Very bad meal at Ocean Side Restaurant. No love in the food, service shockingly slow . Better Hamburgers in Shake Shack. Cesar Salad was a bowl of packet lettuce with a tiny dash of chicken , not chicken breast which is a first for me seeing that we lived in Italy and around the workd and know decent food, and never had chicken bones thrown into the lettuce and been told it was a Cesar Salad. Room had a view of the roof of the valet which they called inlet view . The poor staff are decent but the hotel has no love its dropping down the rankings .

    They woke me up at 3 a.m. by mistake, saying they needed to do AC maintenance, and the guy insisted on coming into my room at that hour — obviously, I said no. They also “lost” part of my DoorDash delivery at the reception. On the day of checkout, they knocked on my door to “remind” me that I had to leave by 11 a.m. Such an inconvenient and crazy hotel.     They put me in a room I’d never seen before small, run-down, and honestly not even worthy to be called a hotel room. When I politely asked for a slightly later checkout because my flight was a bit later, the response was downright rude. I’ve never been spoken to like that by any hotel staff, let alone here. It was clear that because I didn’t book directly, I was treated like a second-class guest. I understand there can be a downgrade when booking through a third party, but this went way beyond that. It completely changed how I feel about a place I used to love.

    The property is beautiful. I ended up upgrading my room to a King with a balcony. The room is absolutely stunning. However, unfortunately I think our bed may have had a broken board underneath or something. The bed sloped downwards and felt uneven aside from that, it was a great room. If it’s at all possible to have any compensation or accommodation towards that, that would be great.

    Food and drinks are extremely expensive but probably typical for Miami. There is a 20% service charge added to everything and not all will disclose so you can end up tipping 20% more until you catch on. I was charged $9.16 for a soda water which left a very bad taste after spending thousands at the resort. That’s the type of thing that will make you not want to go back.

    I’m not impressed at all. I stayed on the fourth floor, supposedly an “upgrade” with a balcony, but it was a joke. The two chairs looked like they were picked up from two different hotel rooms. The bedroom and bathroom are extremely old and tired, and the walls are dirty. The whole place feels neglected and poorly maintained — very disappointing experience.

    I love this hotel -everything from the vibe, to property and the staff. Also the breathtaking views from the suites. I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is my hotel of choice.     This was our third year staying at Eden Roc and it never disappoints! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We received a wonderful room upgrade with a stunning ocean view, and everything was spotless as always.     Unfortunately, our experience at Eden Roc left both of us feeling disappointed and dejected. While I acknowledge that the property is clean and well-maintained, the service and communication were severely lacking, and several issues greatly impacted our stay: Customer Service: After booking, I called the concierge to arrange room decorations for my mum’s birthday. Unfortunately, I was hung up on and rerouted (3) three times, which was incredibly frustrating. Eventually, after more than (3) three attempts I was able to reach the relevant department. Check-in process: We were not provided with room keys, nor were we informed about check-in (4PM) or check-out (11AM) times. I was also told that I would receive a notification when our room was ready, which never arrived. Lost grocery bag: Our grocery bag was misplaced following check-in, and we had to wait more than (2) two hours for a resolution. Eventually, we were told the bag was undiscoverable, and the sum of the items inside would be reimbursed with hotel credit. Poor response time: After reporting the missing bag, I had to physically speak with a manager at the front desk and wait an extended period of time for a resolution.     I have stayed here many times sometimes three times a year, over fifteen years. This time I had a room next to a maids store room and a terrible view into a roof. Also the bed was one of the worst on a two week trip in the US. Hilton beds put this to shame.Really one of my worst times in this hotel very disappointing. Maybe they need to take care of repeat guests . The hotel was 30% full which makes it worse. Will think twice about returning.

    That said, the prices are extremely high for what you actually get. While the amenities and service are solid, they don’t quite match the luxury-level rates the hotel charges. Food and drinks on-site were also very expensive compared to similar options nearby. In short, Eden Roc is a nice hotel in a prime spot if you’re looking for a fun, energetic Miami stay, but be prepared to pay a premium that may not feel fully justified by the experience.

    Very disappointed to see Jean is no longer working valet. His personal service and friendliness is why I continued to return to Eden Roc. Valet service was very poor and difficult without his care I become accustomed to.

    My phone didn’t work, my tv didn’t work, kinda outdoor, I stayed 2 bed room ocean view. Btw no deliveries can go directly to your door which I inconvenience walking back and forth in the lobby, the staff isn’t helpful. Bar sucks in side. Just go to ocean social for happy hour trust me lol

    I had a great time during my weekend stay at the Eden Roc. The cleanliness was top-notch and the location was amazing, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. The only drawback was how costly food and drinks were at the hotel, and for the prestige the property aims to uphold, I believe the service could be elevated to match. I also wish there were more activities or a livelier atmosphere to make the experience even more engaging.     WiFi was unstable and wouldn’t not connect consistently. When we went to the beach I was told I only get two chairs but if we wanted an umbrella it would be $30. There was a cockroach in our room which caused us to have to launder 6 items of clothing and a blanket, which was over $200. The hotel didn’t want to refund us the bill even though they caused the issue by putting us in a room with bugs. I was disgusted beyond measure and will never return here.
