Great place to stay on vacation close to the beach loved the roof top pool

If Sam ain’t working, do not book. He is the only manager/personal that truly cares about guest and really takes his time to make sure not just myself but everyone he encounters is satisfied and all needs are met. Unfortunately, sam was not present till the last day of my trip, hence the reason why I’m writing this review. The service could have been better. Not terrible, simply said.. could have been better. Waited 45 mins for towels to be delivered to our room, could not take a shower. And the room they assigned myself and significant other and I was awfully small and not ideal for 2 people. Thanks

The included perks were a great bonus as well, especially the two complimentary beach chair rentals and the $29 food credit.

In our room, the floor was not clean. The sink did not drain quickly. The beds were against the wall that was shared by another room - instead of on the other wall that was not shared. When we were getting ready for bed the other guests were trying to get in the door and were loud. Would have been less obtrusive if it was on the other wall.

However the rest of the hotel seemed dated and worn out and was not very inviting! Probably would not stay there again!

Impossible to sleep, walls aren't sound proof so street or noisy neighbors make it really tough to sleep... Could hear neighbors making weird throat noises and spitting..

The room was clean, beds really comfortable. My only note: Hotel room has hardwood floors and therefore can occasionally hear people above you if you're not on the top floor.

The bathroom vent fan didn't work and the sound of a sewage sump grinder outside or a mechanical motor shutting on and off every 10 seconds was annoying in room 104. Also the room was ice cold but heat could not be activated. Like a meat locker .

We had dinner, the $29 resort fee they give you back for food or drink, the 2 free drinks were so damn small and 2 had 2 of the flat pizzas they wer terrible weren't cooked enough it was raw, didn't cut it and it stuck to the paper..awful food The pizza was raw at dinner not cut and the paper stuck to the dough, 4 weeks ago were were there and the pizza was really pretty good it was cooked, was cut and served on a board I think the guy this didn't have a clue what he was doing

My sheets were dirty in room 314 I asked for clean sheets at the front desk and never received them nor did the sheets get changed. Hair was on the towels. The couch was stained and dirty! They actually wanted the quest to reuse the towels to reserve water

We arrived at 11:45 and although we were early were told that there were too many “late check outs” and “house keeping” just came in to begin cleaning rooms. And would be able to check in around 1:30-2. We came back at 1:30 and were told sorry we could not be given an estimate of time and that we would be notified. By 3:45 we checked again and the gentleman at the desk that was going to call us when the room was ready had left for the day and we were told they only had king rooms with pull out beds available although I booked 2 queen beds (for 4 people). Finally we got up to our room around 4:15. We came from NY on an early flight, we’re not even offered to go use the pool, bottled water, NOTHING except to hold our luggage from the man at the front desk. I expect more from Marriott and I book through Expedia all the time! Highly disappointed. If they knew they were going to have a lot of people checking in today they should not have allowed so many late check outs!

They didnt even provide water in the room and were selling them instead of the customary 2 bottles per day. Neither did they have any reasonable vending machine, their only water was a $5 water bottle. Even the interiors felt very basic / motel quality instead of a Marriott property. Though the location is good, its right across a strip club which makes it very awkward with kids and family.

This is Miami Beach so lots of activity going on so it's not a quiet area. Was fine for me for a work trip, 10 to 15 minute. Walk to convention center. If you have a car park across the street at the parking garage that is $20 a day. There are 3 near by but only 1 is $20 per day.

The staff at the Courtyard by Marriot Miami Beach - South Beach made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The room was clean as well as the other areas of the hotel. I wnjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again.

The noise from the next room was so loud that it woke me at 3.00am and 4.00am. Shrieking and shouting. Not the sort of noises that one would want to confront, so earplugs were used.

Excellent service straight across the board. The only thing that I was not happy about was the amount charged for valet it was a bit pricey but not being familiar with the area I felt compelled to pay it.

The stay was fine, but nothing particularly special or luxurious. The room was clean and the location was solid for access to the beach and local attractions. However, there were several inconveniences that made the stay less enjoyable. The water pressure in the showers was very weak, making it frustrating to rinse off after the beach. More importantly, the elevator was out of service multiple times throughout the weekend, which meant using the stairs—especially annoying when heading up to the pool. Speaking of the pool, it’s very small and often taken over by large families, making it nearly impossible to actually swim or relax. The area gets quite noisy, and on top of that, the hotel room literally shook all weekend from the bass coming from either the club or nearby events. It made resting during the day or getting a good night’s sleep pretty difficult. Also worth noting: at check-in, I was hit with an unexpected $300 security deposit, which wasn’t clearly mentioned beforehand and felt excessive. All in all, this hotel might work for travelers looking for a basic place to crash in Miami Beach, but if you’re looking for peace, amenities, or a relaxing pool experience, you may want to look elsewhere

Sam was and HAS been the most helpful and most respectful member of your staff. I have stayed here a handful of times and he is more than accommodating. We spoke to a different gentlemen about a later check out because our flight was late and we had no where to go for the time being. He was very short and offered us 1 hour additionally. Did not take the time to hear our concerns and had to ask him twice for new towels to the room. Sam on the other hand is a delight to be around and as soon as I see him at the front desk I know any concerns or questions I have will be addressed and treats not just me and my girlfriend with upmost respect but every patron that comes in and out of the hotel. Sam is the man! With out him I would not come back.

A decent hotel for the price. Our big issue was the elevators. The elevator would stop at the correct floors but the doors would not always open. Taking the stairs was not a good option. The only stairs we found went outside in a tight alley, no access to the lobby.

Location was great - only two blocks from the beach front and the Art Deco district of Miami Beach. Many good restaurants nearby. Room was very spacious, with a comfortable bathroom. The view from the window on the third floor was straight into ugly mechanical equipment of air conditioning. No safe in the room - really sub standard. Very noisy - young guys next doors picked up girls and partied all night. First time ever that I had to go down to reception at 1AM to complain about such thing. Very expensive for what you get.

I wish the manager would have offer us to stay another day. No towel in the room, no towels for the pool. Waited more than 1.5hrs for towels and never got them. Very bad service from front staff person.

They also charge a $29 resort fee which is annoying. This is instead of Breakfast being included which Expedia said it was. Also valet parking is $42/day. Finally the immediate street location is shady. I saw a drug deal right outside the door.

The staff are absolutely amazing! It is South Beach, so it is busy and it comes with everything one would expect in the area. I will stay here every time I am in the area because the staff are the most accommodating and welcoming I have ever encountered and I travel a lot.

We booked last minute because our cruise was delayed one day. The front desk was very accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. We saw tons of options online, but we figured a chain would be a safe bet, and it was.

Given Marriott's reputation, I anticipated a higher level of service.

HERE AT THIS PROPERTY YOU RECEIVE A $29 CREDIT HOWEVER, IT'S LIMITED & CAN ONLY BE USED AT CERTAIN TIMES WHICH KIND OF MAKES IT USELESS. IT SUCKS WHEN YOU HAVE A CREDIT & CAN'T EVEN USE IT IN THE HOTEL MARKET! WHAT'S THE USE. I THINK 🤔 HOTEL SHOULD REEVALUATE THE WHOLE PROCESS OF A CREDIT. BUT IT'S A COURTYARD.

HERE AT THIS PROPERTY YOU RECEIVE A $29 CREDIT HOWEVER, IT'S LIMITED & CAN ONLY BE USED AT CERTAIN TIMES WHICH KIND OF MAKES IT USELESS. IT SUCKS WHEN YOU HAVE A CREDIT & CAN'T EVEN USE IT IN THE HOTEL MARKET! WHAT'S THE USE. I THINK 🤔 HOTEL SHOULD REEVALUATE THE WHOLE PROCESS OF A CREDIT. BUT IT'S A COURTYARD.

Dishonesty and misleading customers seems to be a trend. I was told that bicycles, beach towels and beach chairs were complimentary but they were NOT !! I was charged $33 per day for them even if I didn’t use them. Terrible

The nightclub right next to the hotel so you can’t sleep because it’s so loud, strip club directly across the street with women with no clothes on in the large billboard, no suites, housekeeping knocked once and entered our room and didn’t even give us a chance to say we were there. Never again.

Surprised that a Marriott is located in this sleazy area of south beach. Not family friendly at all. Located next to a strip club with another right across the street. What happened to south beach???

Overall enjoyed my stay at Courtyard, very clean, staff was very nice, restaurant/bar has limited hours (therefore didn’t get to use 29$ credit). I wish the rooms had a safe.

Stayed 4 days...I wanted a hotel with a pool that stayed open past 6pm...Staff was excellent..!st room had a leak ...they immedietly transfered us to another room at 3am in the morning...we got there early 12 noon was giving a room earler than expected...My card was charged a day earlier than expected...there was a balance of $100 "destination fee" I was expecting to pay upon arrival but was told I didnt have to pay it ??/ well I had to pay it at check out...I was confused because I didnt book with breakfast (29.00) per day included ...I was told is was being givin to me! but sure enuff at check out I had to pay for the breakfast!! EVERYTHING HAS A SURCHARGE BEWARE! The hotel was great ...service was great... they did bend over backwards for me and my wife but I was uncormfortable because I was givin services I did not agree to!

Wry impressed at this hotel/location as the price was much less for a family than anything else in the vicinity. You cannot beat this location, right in the middle of the best eating/drinking/shopping streets and only short two block walk to the ocean. The roof top pool was so so beautiful, a great additions to an already great hotel. Much recommended for family stay with older kids.

There are several things that are not working, including elevator and dryer. The solo functioning elevator is particularly problematic because all the cleaning staff and guests are waiting for it. There are no cups in the gym and no towels in the swimming pool. For the price it charges, it just doesn't feel right.

Instead what we got was 2 Doubles 1 Single Pullout.

I didn’t like the fact the hotel had a very late check-in at 4 p.m. The staff was not the best service. The food was not the greatest and house keeping was requested several times to clean the room.

The property was clean it was just what time the cleaning service came is what I didn’t care for middle of the evening five or six o’clock

Very convenient location for Ocean Drive and restaurants.

Property was very clean, and sanitized. Front desk people were very helpful and greeted you everytime. Rooms were spacious and clean. My family of 5 comfortably stayed in a 2 queen bed with a let-out sofa. Although my son stated the let-out sofa wasn't very comfortable. The cleaning crew didn't do a very good job on cleaning the rooms each day. They did just enough for you to notice they had been in the room.

They had renovated since our last say which made it a lot nicer, the staff both day an night shift was excellent ! We will definitely stay here again.
