    Great little boutique Hotel with lots of charm! Ask for Andre and he will give you some amazing food Recs. In the area! Only thing that thru me off was the resort fee at the end of check out for amenities which included beach chairs but no umbrella. That cost extra.

    We ate at El Patio and their food was amazing. We also ate at the other restaurant they have with Mediterranean food and it was good as well. Location was perfect. 8 min walk to the beach and many stores around to shop walking distance. At the beach they have a place where they let you borrow beach chairs (2 chairs). I will definitely be staying here again!

    The room was very clean, you get towels in your room inside the closet. You get access to beach chairs on the beach but no umbrella. It is a couple (2 blocks away from the beach)

    I’ve been coming to this hotel 1-2 times per year for years. IHG recently sold it to another company so stay history has been wiped out. Not much has changed. Free wine from 4-5 pm is gone but the cards on the door saying you are ready to have your room cleaned are back which is super helpful. Two beach chairs included and electric assist bikes (max 2 hours per day free) included with resort fee. Pool staff are well organized and quick to address any issues. More of an adults hotel than the one across the way (the Goodtime).

    The room I had 401 was like a studio apartment, which was great b/c it was roomy... however it did have a musty/moldy smell that was pretty noticeable... I didn't receive any VIP welcome gift or room upgrade that I'm aware of... and I was charged an extra $50/night "resort fee" for what I also have no idea... I was there for work, so maybe it was for pool or beach... but annoying.. lastly the restaurant wouldn't let me charge food to my room... I would have bought more there for the ease of it going on my room but if I have to pull out my cc everytime, I just went elsewhere...

    The location was perfect near everything I needed and wanted to do for Miami F1 weekend. The staff were excellent. The carpet in the hallways had a not so nice smell to them coming off the elevator.

    The hotel location was great. It was very quiet and cozy, our room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. There were also good restaurants with healthy food within walking distance of the hotel This wasn’t my first time visiting Miami. I’ve stayed at both expensive and budget hotels before, but this hotel truly had nothing that I didn’t like. In my previous hotels, there were always a few things I wasn’t happy with.

    I really like the location and the option to have room service as well as the 3 restaurant options at the hotel. The decor of the entire hotel, room size with the very large patio are excellent. The pillows are real goose down super comfortable, and I love the cappuccino machine inside the room. The shampoo and conditioner is very good. And I got two beach chairs at the beach included with my stay. Although I didn’t get a chance to use the bikes, we wanted to and it was a nice option to have. I also want to commend the bellman. He was amazing, so helpful and polite helping with out things from pullup to take off. There is public parking right around the corner for $20/night. I recommend this hotel and will return for sure. My complaints are that water should be available to make the coffee included in the room. But I love the cappuccino machine. Also, we waited from 12:30pm - 4:00 to check in. We went for lunch nearby, but came back and still needed to wait 2 hours to check in.

    It was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy all of the amenities, but it’s nice that you can get beach chairs included. Lots of good restaurants nearby, CVS right there, and even got nails done super close by. I wish I would have seen the water bottle filler in the main building, that’s super nice to have at hotels instead of buying lots of bottled water. They did have a stocked mini fridge and drink options in the room, and a microwave. Plenty of closet space. Nice real marble tile in the bathroom and real wood floors. Cute decor, a sitting area, and good black out curtains.

    The Anglers Hotel was clean with friendly staff available just few blocks from beach. It was our first time in Miami and we will be coming back! I loved food in Miami hands down the best I have tasted on vacation. I highly recommend hotel and Miami South beach!!!

    Check-in was a little long due to their system being down, however they were accommodating offering glasses of wine while we waited. Room was clean and spacious; balcony was also nice. Only issue I did attempt to eat lunch there one day, ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken, unfortunately had to send it back the chicken was dried out, seemed old, tasted a little funny, waiter did offer to remake but I just wasn't interested at that point, I was not charged for the salad, so all good. Aside from the salad, I would stay here again!

    Very small deck, standing room only. Light switches could be turned on, but several of the lights did not work. Staff was pleasant, kept our luggage while we went on tour in the morning. Didnot offer late check out.

    the hallway to our room was really old and the carpet in the hallway really needed to be shampooed. We kept sneezing and had allergies. The room itself was okay but not worth the price especially including the amenities. Also the way the amenities and resort fees were described did not match what was actually provided at all which was very basic. Not worth the high cost. The location was decent and the pool was clean.

    The staff was great and very kind and accommodating. The people handling the car valet were so wonderful, also (and speedy)! We stayed in the one bedroom suite with a hot tub. The room smelled very musty (the kind of smell that lingered on all our clothing and suitcases when we returned home so we had to wash everything, even the clean clothes). The decor and furnishings were lovely, but the overall condition of the room felt just a little dated. Just fyi for future travellers, the spiral staircase was very narrow and difficult to get our suitcases up (we would choose a different room type if we return because of this). The location was excellent, an easy walk to the beach, and the hotel provided beach towels and also made 2 chairs available on the beach, which was great! The pools were lovely and we really enjoyed them. Overall a great stay and a beautiful property!

    Hotel is within walking distance to the beach, many bars and restaurants. Bathroom was a little run down - floor had cracked tiles and a cracked sink. Multiple times, we found slugs in our room. We discovered they were crawling from the outdoor patio into our room, which led us to believe there must have been a crack in the door frame.

    The staff is amazing! However, the room we had was so dated and dirty. We stayed in room 209 and the AC doesn’t work well, there’s black mold in the vents of the bathroom and on the patio window/door. The room is also very far from the man building. I was hoping that we would love this place since it’s so close to the beach and all the restaurants, but this room left us displeased. However, I want to reiterate, the staff is amazing. The perks like the pool, F45, the happy hour and proximity to the beach and restaurants are a huge bonus.

    We had a fantastic stay at the Kimpton Hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and always smiling.     Positives-the rooftop pool is the best feature of the hotel. We were roomed in the old section, it probably has more 'character' than the new section. We never got our VIP perk, even though I asked for it. I was told a credit would show up on the final bill, but it didn't. The front desk staff seems inexperienced.

    We were initially assigned a first-floor room (two women) with a glass door that opened directly to a street-facing patio, which made us uncomfortable. When I politely asked if a higher-floor room was available, I was met with a long eye roll and a firm instruction to “bring your bags to the front.” Apparently, this request was asking a bit too much. I don’t understand why people choose customer service roles if they can’t even fake a smile. After getting into our room, I noticed the hotel advertises welcome cocktails — which we were never offered. The room itself was fine, though a bit worn. The lobby coffee was nice. The location is good if you want to stay right in the middle of the tourist area. However, based on the service we received, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

    Food delivery took too long, upwards of 20 kind to deliver food where no cooking was required, ie yoghurt or a fruit platter. This is despite the restaurant having many staff just hanging around looking for something to do. The staff did not seem trained and would miss obvious points of service like providing water, Basically the service was rubbish and it maybe showed in the restaurant being virtually empty every time we passed.

    Great stay! Wonderful staff from front desk, porters, evening happy hour folks, to breakfast staff especially Angie. Amenities were great, rooftop pool gorgeous. Well located property, 2 blocks to beach where complimentary loungers are provided. The room beach bag and towels are a nice touch. Everything thought out, good sized room, great bath products, clean property, beautiful grounds made it feel secluded and out of the fray on Ocean Drive, nice and quiet. Complimentary bikes also great amenity. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Very nice decor. Total great stay, will recommend and stay again!

    The front desk staff was great and let us check in early. We did notice that the hotel needed updating. The elevator in the main building did smell like urine as noted in some of the other reviews. Our room was fine, the door was sticky. The room went through phases of smelling fine to terrible. We were woken up at 3am to a terrible smell from the vents which made it very hard to sleep. The smell did go away by the morning.

    Our room was a spacious King with a separate sleeper sofa which accommodated our family of four with two teenage sons comfortably. The beds could have been better - neither the mattress or sheets were the quality one would expect for the level of the hotel - ditto with bath towels. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel depending on the rate which can fluctuate widely during the prime season. The staff were courteous and responsive.

    No coffee or tea making facilities. No complmentary water, was given room by escalator - requested a move and we were moved to a room which had a balcony from which you could hear Staff in the morning and look directly into other rooms. The room itself was spacious but was situated away from the main hotel. The beach is a few blocks away and the pool does not have sea views. However the staff in the breakfast restaurant were very nice and the food was good,

    Great location just 2 blocks from ocean drive with lots of nice cafes/restaurants within a (very) short walk, as well as a CVS & other handy stores. Rooms are very nice, comfortable & clean but this is all about the location. The addition of electric bikes to rent for 2-hours for free is also great. Rooftop pool is lovely, vibe is classy & staff are very helpful. Hope to visit again!

    The staff at the front desk was ok, but the initial contact was with the valet man and he was rude, pulling up to check in was stressful because there is no real area for us to unload, it’s just a parking spot in front of the building, so you’re pressured to get your things and get the car out of the way. However, the valet man when leaving was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay with helping us access the car to get things out. We booked 2 rooms which were in separate buildings from our children. Fine, I wasn’t worried as they’re older and can handle it. However, getting to our room was just awkward; walking down a small sidewalk, through a restaurant, up a small staircase, through a door and up another corridor of stairs. OH. MY. LORD THE SMELL!! When you check in and walk up to the main building there was an overwhelming fragrant smell but the second you walk the secret passage into the restaurant it was AWFUL. All the way up to our room, the hallway AND our room. The air hadn’t been on and the room was so musty and everything was damp, including the bedding!! The pillows were so damp and thin. We bought candles and Febreeze at CVS and it did nothing to help. No coffee maker in the room, no real shower door which made showeri

    This is our second time staying at this hotel, we love the property the roof top pool, the cozy bar and beautiful lobby. The food was excellent too. We stayed in the two story villa with hot tub which was great and very clean. Also the location is perfect! The wasn’t ready until almost 4:30 however we were gifted a late check out for the next day. Also love that they provide the coffee station in the lobby and the free bicycles, as well as beach access.

Nice place to sit out, although would be nice if bar was opened into the evening. Other suggestion would be for the showers ... adding a shower door would help stop water splashing out onto the bathroom floor

    The supervisor Annette, Haru and the bartender/manager Anthony were great. I’ve stayed here 8 times! Since 2022 Very satisfied with the service. I miss Hussien and Samantha who are no longer there. Seems like lots of turnover with management and employees. However I still felt the hospitality treatment. Thank you!!

    We were on the 2nd floor and the hotel hosted a party that lasted beyond midnight. The music lasted until 11:30pm and vibrated the second floor. It was incredibly loud and prevented us from sleeping.

    My experience at this property was terrible. I arrived at midnight and was given a hotel room that was not clean. Dusty and the restroom was dirty filled with hairs from the previous guest and water stains. I called the reception and they dismissed me by saying talk to the manager tomorrow. The following day I was moved to a different room that seemed clean. That night in the patio area, there was a full blown yelling match between a couple discussing how the guy cheated on the girl with Lilly. The fight went on for about 2 hours. From 2 am to 4 am. The hotel staff did not intervene until we called at around 3:30 am. They wanted to charge us for overnight parking when we did not park the car in their property and were advised to do otherwise. I traveled with my 2 year old and wouldn’t call this a 4.8 star hotel as listed on Expedia. Find another alternative if you’re traveling to South Beach. I’ve stayed in the Kimpton Palomar in San Diego and Kimpton Epic in Brickell and my experience was COMPLETELY different. Very disappointed. They need a new manager.

    I already explained to Jimmy who sent me a text asking how the seevice was. I got there and tv didn't work. I called downstairs 5 times and 3 of the times someone picked up and hung up in my face. I couldn't go downstairs because I was on a call. Finally called back 6th time to be told that there was an issue. This is probably something that should have been disclosed at time of check in. Obviously when I arrive in my room I wan relax and watch tv. Second situation is I called for an Iron and it took 30 min and just as I was going to put a shirt on because I was showered and ready to go someone knocked with the iron.

    Elevators had a horrendous smell, we thought maybe needed cleaned, but after cleaning they both still smelled awedul. Walls are super thin and other guest were partying, yelling and running up and down the halls. Wanted to relax and watch college football but this hotel doesn't even have basic cable, just Samsung plus tv and the internet super slow. Restaurant food over priced and the for the amount of $ we paid for the night we we're expecting alot better. Won't be back!

    Service at desk wasn’t great and then after checking in we learned that the entire hotel was without internet or tv. Let’s just say I was a little disappointed to spend over $300 for the room for the night and not even have access to the tv or WiFi. They did refund us the resort fee but just felt like it wasn’t worth the money we spent to stay there.

    The Kimpton Angler is 2 blocks from Ocean Drive, provides excellent Happy Hours, the rooms are spacious and modern, rooftop pool, music, bar and lounge create a welcomed vibe. The cafe and the restaurant provided excellent food and service (Anthony and Ingrid are incredible and made our experience extra special). You can rent bicycles from right in front of the hotel and all staff are welcoming. Recommend highly for the quality and great price.

    I love staying at the Kimpton Angler. This is my second time staying on my solo trip to Miami. It’s walking distance to Ocean Dr (literally two blocks). The hotel has such good perks, like 2 hour complimentary use of the electric bikes, use of beach umbrella and towels, there’s a beach bag and yoga mat in every room for use. The room itself is gorgeous and I love the balcony (last room I had a large wrap around balcony and soaking tub). They have happy hour on drinks from 3-11pm, the food at the restaurant is delicious, they offer free coffee and tea in the morning and free wine around 4pm. I really can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The rooftop pool is good vibes but honestly I’ve only spent an hour up there both times.

    Also I paid for this vacation in advance with a little amount due at the hotel when checking out. Well the hotel has a great policy of charging almost $300 dollars as security deposit every night. I had $500 to spend while on vacation and couldn’t because the hotel has over $600 on hold for security deposit. It is now the Monday after my vacation. The money is not back in my account yet and I have to wait 2-5 business days to see it come back to my account. I wont book here again.

    The room I have stayed had a serious mold problem. The room itself smells like mold. And even the towels that were in the cabinet smells mold. I believe this is a serious health concern and I totally do not recommend to stay over there. Unfortunately I did not totally read the reviews that were mentioned over there. If I did, I will definitely cancel the reservation. Otherwise the area and the hotel amenities are nice, but it doesn’t matter since they have a mold problem

    Stayed in a Kimpton hotel before in Beverly Hills which was 10/10...but this Miami South Beach branch was more like a 4/10 sadly... Room was extremely poorly attended too which dead bugs everywhere / squished on walls, sticky & dirty floors, a terrible smell from the mini fridge and a really strange door that looks like it's open everytime you shut it. On top of that they have 2 pools, but the one that's right outside of our rooms was extremely filthy and unintended too (towels were never replenished). Overall a bad experience.

    Awesome staffs! Great location, the only thing is the property has a smell in the elevator and in one of the three rooms that we booked. But the front desk helped us change the room without any issues, so we had an overall good experience. Juan was our server at the El Patio restaurant at the hotel and he was great, the hostess was awesome also, came and took a bunch of pictures for us. They are a little short staff in the morning at the coffee/bar area so my order took forever, but I do feel bad for the lady since she was the only one making the drinks. She was really nice so I didn’t mind the long wait.

    Nice hotel in downtime Miami. We were on the first floor so it was pretty loud when the DJs would play music in the afternoon but we could get a restful sleep. Everything was expensive and came with a high service charge. two mimosas at the poolside bar was over 40 dollars but not unexpected in Miami. Front desk was very nice. Overall a nice hotel and a good long weekend in Miami

    I’m a big Kimpton fan and this is no exception! The staff was very helpful. The rooms are spacious, the pool area is so relaxing. The Food from Bar Habana was EXCELLENT! Very walkable.

    I loved Mina! He was so amazing, the hotel staff was also extremely friendly and made sure we were great during our stay. The hotel is very clean, safe and the best part was the wine hour during the week. The rooftop pool was also nice and clean.

    I have been coming here for more than 5 years now and I can honestly say whatever they are doing is nothing! The hotel is raggedy. The patio furniture is all broken and torn up. The rooms and halls always have a moldy smell and the rooms themselves are torn up. Tissue holders broken, fridges that are barely cold. And let’s not start with the incompetent staff at the front desk. Many can barely speak English and worse, they never answer the phone, leave you hold and never return, it’s not a great place to go any longer. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
