This hotel was great. It has great staff, comfortable beds, and good size of rooms all at reasonable rates. This location is great , especially if you are attending a Navy graduation. 10 minutes from the Naval Station and easy access to all main roads to Chicago downtown and other areas. Recommended.

We booked this hotel based off of the reviews and it didn’t miss! Incredibly clean, the staff is so friendly, the breakfast was bomb and well kept. Can’t beat the value! And the drive to the city was not bad at all in the mornings that we stayed. Would stay here 10 out of 10 again!

Staff was courteous, efficient. Rooms were clean, quiet, large, had the usual basic amenities. The waitstaff for breakfast were great. More than enough parking. I’ve been there before, I would come again.

The room was fantastic! The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful during checkout. The room had a full fridge and kitchen with cabinets stocked with dishes. Nice, clean place that was nicely decorated for Christmas. Room looked like it had new carpeting installed. Breakfast was pretty good; hot food was good as well but options were basic (scrambled eggs, bacon / sausage). The location isn’t near to anything within walkable distance but the area itself is very nice.

The room was clean and organized and the amenities were great, I highly recommend a stay here if you are here for work or leisure! I don’t have much complaints whatsoever. The only downside was the bathroom that smelled vaguely of cleaning products (however it was well managed), but I would consider that a Pro instead of a Con in my book considering it was cleaned thoroughly. Besides that there is no dislike that I am able to mention. This is a nice inn.

Clean room and super-friendly staff. Parking is convenient and close to the highway. The location is convenient to dining and shopping. The property appears a little tired, and you do experience some road noise from the highway and the hallway, but overall, it's a good experience.

The location was really nice and easy access. It seemed like a quiet location but our room was so noisy due to things at the facility. If you don't get a room close to all of the on site action (laundry, elevator) it should be a quiet stay. The gentleman working the counter for late night check ins was super nice. We arrived very late after a concert and needed a good night's sleep. We were so close to the elevator and laundry and some other things happening on site that we didn't sleep at all. It was so noisy all through the night. Then housekeeping kept knocking on our door ready to clean the room at 9 when we weren't even awake yet. It woke my daughter up twice. Why would they go around knocking on doors that early when checkout was hours later?!?!? We had finally started getting some sleep when that abruptly woke us up. The lack of sleep left us so groggy for our day at six flags that we ended up heading home early which would not have happened if we had a comfortable stay.

I stayed for a couple of nights last month (July 2025). This is a great place to stay. Conveniently located, in a very nice part of suburban Chicago. The staff is super friendly and strive to take care of you. The room I stayed in was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is good, typical for most places like this, but hot, fresh and good quality. I will absolutely stay here again when in the area.

We stayed in a suite and were very comfortable. Easy access to I-94, shopping area, as well as Lake Forest. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was located in a very quiet, secured newer area with plenty of parking. The room we booked had two rooms with bathrooms attached with a joining living room and kitchenette with a dining set. All was very clean and kept. A Costco was located about 3 minutes away, which we were able to buy certain items for meals and store perishables in a full size refrigerator. We also enjoyed our time at the indoor pool and billiard table area. Special thanks to Marc for attending to our needs at the front desk. Great stay!

Clean and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was 5 stars.

Bfast was a repeat for 3 days and no bread was provided only option was to eat bagels or English muffins.

The breakfast was really good, fruits sweet and fresh, and Miriam the breakfast lady was always super nice and attentive of all of our needs.

Great stay. Staff needs to be more knowledgeable about what is around the property. The man at the desk told us there was only fast food around. Within 2 miles we found tons of sit down real dinning restaurants.

Nice and quiet for sleeping

We appreciated the convenience of our room to the parking lot, the quiet corner of the floor, and the comfortable king sized bed. We did not appreciate not having internet, although we called and they said they would reset the modem and we would have it in 5-10 min. We were never connected for 3 days. No one cleaned the room from day to day; and one of the electrical outlets did not emit power; the vanity floor was sticky the second day, we have no reason why; and the ice in the freezer of the refrig were spilling out of the basket, freezing and totally unuseable in one big block of ice. The kitchenette was clean, as was the living room.

I have stayed here many times and things have changed. Needs updating and room service back.

The highlight was the really comfy bed and pullows with really soft linens. I slept great. Very clean. The gym was in great condition, everything worked and a good variety of exercise items. Breakfast had plenty of fruit and healthy choices.

Property was clean, recently renovated and nice. Free breakfast was even decent. Only negative was we showed up at 2:15pm, hoping we might be able to check in early (3pm check in time). Desk attendant would not even look or make a call to see if a room was ready. Just a straight up “No, come back at 3” was all we got.

The hotel is great for us as we can prepare our meals and located near Six Flags. I recommend this hotel as the chances of another lacross group is small.

The hotel is ideally situated. Its right off the highway and close to Lake Forest College, resturants and stores. The room's furniture has seen some better days, but the room was clean and the kitchen was very useful. I would like to see some useable USB ports in the room for phone charging and the like.
