Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The hotel's breakfast, however, is often criticized for its limited options and lack of hot items.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Limited breakfast options
- Occasional issues with room amenities

Room served its purpose. Was there for one night. Clean and quiet and the staff was courteous and friendly to me. I would stay again in the future.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice room. Comfortable beds and very good for the price. Would stay here again if I return to Mesa
- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel with our basketball program. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our large group of players, coaches, and families. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the common areas provided great spaces for our team to gather and relax. The hotel's convenient location made it easy to get to games and local attractions. We truly appreciated the hospitality and excellent service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to any sports team or group traveling together and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Dated old room and hotel. Very dark. Not well maintained. Horrible bed. Smelled awful. Look for something else, rather than staying here. Front desk not very friendly. Checked in, then checked right back out.
- 5/5
Clean room and affordable
- 3/5
This is a great hotel for last minute things. The room is clean enough to feel comfortable. This isn’t great for a vacation choice. There was a clump of hair behind the toilet and some ants in the room but nothing too crazy.
- 4/5
Location I booked to save some money because it was my family’s 3rd night of hotel stays due to my father being in the hospital. I stayed here once before and thought The Azure was worthy of 5 stars. This time there was zero breakfast spread included but it was advertised there would be. Was just inconvenient to start my day and find out I had to go somewhere else to hunt down breakfast for my senior mom who has physical limitations. Maybe they stopped the breakfast and didn’t update online? Overall The Azure really is a pretty decent place. It’s clean, quiet and I think the bed is really nice and comfy.
- 4/5
We loved our stay here at the hotel in the suite with the in room Jacuzzi tub. The room was very clean very comfortable and very quiet being right on the bottom floor next to the parking lot we would recommend this place.

It was close to my son house. It does not have a breakfast anymore.
- 5/5
Room was wonderful, staff was very nice and helpful, loved the pool and it was nice to be able to wash laundry before leaving the hotel. Thanks again for a great experience.
- 4/5
Stayed a night because it was so close to The Nile Theater. Staff at the desk were helpful. The room was clean. The only criticism was that the bathroom could use a refresh and update. I would stay there again if I drive up for a concert.

- 5/5
Great easy experience
- 5/5
As always, great staff and clean property. The beds here are very comfortable
- 5/5
Central location to alot of great stores and restaurants. I would recommend for a weekend trip!
- 5/5
Front desk staff were helpful with a few issues we had. Needed a chair, they got one right away for us. Needed a laundry bag, they got one right away. Little things that make a difference. The beds we had weren’t as comfortable as possible. One queen bed sounded broken when laid on! Both beds did not fit their frames and the mattresses kept moving back away from the frames.
- 5/5
Wish room had microwave
- 3/5
Not having a hot breakfast set up was a bummer to find out after I thought I paid for it, just for them to tell me they just cancelled it.
- 5/5
Room is way bigger in person , would definitely come back
- 5/5
The Family suite was perfect my family of 5. Very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Clean spacious rooms, nice from desk staff, especially Brandon!
- 5/5
Great place to stay quiet and clean.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, no cigarette smoke smell. Very clean and I can appreciate the smell of no cigarette smoke. The only thing I didn't like was that the room service restaurant didn't have vegan options. There was nothing I didn't like. Next time I would like a Senior discount.

- 5/5
Clean room, great place
- 5/5
Clean and quiet stay.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, but very busy area
- 4.5/5
Easy parking, good location for our needs. We left later in the day each day, and as a result never had maid service. I guess they don’t do touch ups after noon? Didn’t really bother us, just be aware is all.

- 5/5
The Azure Hotel is a great place to stay in Mesa for business travelers. Free parking, clean and pleasant rooms and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Very family friendly with excellent breakfast. Highly recommended 👍
- 5/5
I was worried about getting a room at such a small, inexpensive hotel because I always end up disappointed. But I had to because I was sticking to a tight budget. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Security is excellent. It smelled amazing. The place was immaculate in regards to cleanliness. I’ve stayed at “fancier” hotels that were less clean. The staff members, from management to the front desk clerk to house keeping, were extremely nice and helpful. The pool area is kind of small, but well maintained. The seating in that area was very nice as well as comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again during trips where the budget is tight.
- 5/5
Everything was great. The staff always checking with guests to make sure we had whatever we needed.
- 4/5
Room was clean and well maintained. Most amenities seemed almost new. They have a pool and hot tub that I didn't use. Overall good stay, will use again
- 5/5
quiet.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious for my needs
- 4/5
Good location. No longer serving breakfast
- 5/5
Looking forward to returning to The Azure on our next trip to Phoenix! Everything was wonderful and comfortable.
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel and it seemed to be clean and everything worked fine , but there is absolutely no breakfast unless you want a boiled egg or a bagel. It also wasn't in the best part of town , but again , we didn't have any issues
- 5/5
Friendly staff Nice clean pool and hot tub The whole place was spic and span I usually stay whenever I visit Phoenix It’s right in the middle of everywhere I go when I visit so it’s convenient It’s also affordable and worth it!
- 5/5
Room was clean! Staff was nice!
- 5/5
This was a great hotel
- 4/5
Breakfast......sorry, bagels and hard boiled eggs???
- 5/5
Maxx was very efficient and friendly, highly recommend.
- 5/5
very clean and comfortable. Quick easy, check in. Great value for the price
- 4/5
friendly front desk staff
- 5/5
My second time in here, definitely I wil try to stay all the time when traveling to Mesa
- 5/5
Ein super schoenes Hotel. Es ist neu oder sieht so aus. Zimmer vom feinsten Kuehlschrank vorhanden. Alles schoen sauber. Fruehstueck war auch gut 🙂. Sehr zu empfehlen und nicht mal teuer.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. AC not super cold and pretty loud. They no longer serve breakfast but price seems the same for room. Still a fair a competitive price.
- 5/5
Check in was great, staff was every helpful
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
Mattress was not comfortable. A/C unit compressor was so loud, we barely were able to sleep. Also, discontinuing complimentary breakfast--but we were too late getting down to see what they did have.
- 4/5
Stayed one night. Check in was easy room was clean. Had a fridge and a coffee maker.
- 4/5
Great location - right by the Mesa Temple.
- 1/5
Called Mesa of PD to have me trespassed because of a disgruntled emotional entry level employee. Civil litigation pending***
- 4/5
For the price it was a great experience! The only downside is they no longer offer Continental breakfast other than that everything was clean and comfortable!! I will stay again!
- 4/5
The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are very good. The only issue was that the pillows were a little stiff. It’s in a great location in town, close to public transportation, and the area feels very safe and secure. The swimming pool is okay as well. The only real disappointment was the breakfast, but other than that, this is a pretty good hotel overall. I would rate it around a 7 to 7.5 out of 10.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly, but policy changes as of 4/30 took away an significant amenitie.
- 5/5
There was a nice jacuzzi and pool, just outside where the rooms were. Hope to stay during the holiday season.
- 5/5
Breakfast was awful but everything else was perfect
- 5/5
Always nice
- 1/5
The hotel no longer serves continental breakfast even though hotels.com still says they do. The beds were completely dipped in that there was absolutely no spring left in the mattress and you were laying on the boards. The sheets had stains all over them. The doors do not shut all the way unless you pull hard. The door handles and locked are jiggling off the door. Staff will call you at any time of the day or night in your room. When asked to speak with a manager I was told they don’t have one on site and they don’t know when they work.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great thank you
- 5/5
The first one we pulled onto the property I thought it was a repurposed Best Western or something. To my surprise when I walked in the lobby was nicely decorated the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and on point. Our room was well appointed with 2 TVs, a hot tub, king size bed, leather furniture a complete bathroom with shower. A safe and a mini fridge. The Continental breakfast was much better than most hotels. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Cleaner and better maintained than I had expected from a downtown hotel. Nice friendly staff. Stayed 2 days, once on the way out to CA, again on the way back. Smooth, easy check-in with Expedia reservations.
- 4/5
Nice place, but no microwave in the room. They said they did not want any smells in rooms. Sucks if you want to eat anything in your room. They are cancelling their meager breakfast as of May 1, 2026.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great hot tub was amazing and staff was super helpful and friendly!
- 4/5
Since Management is phasing out the free continental breakfast as of 4/30/26, the selection was limited - boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, tea. Since it was a free service, it will not lower the prices of the rooms.
- 5/5
nice quiet place, well located, very friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay!
- 4/5
Staff friendly Not great complimentary breakfast. Closed to early and minimal options
- 5/5
Room was nice, clean, as well as the property in general. Quiet, good location. Overall, a very nice stay with no issues.
- 1/5
If you are not from the area you will probably want to stay in a better neighborhood. Could not get a refund.
- 5/5
Room was clean, quiet, in central Mesa, clean pool unheated.
- 5/5
pool not heated, but others clean and well kept.
- 5/5
The sheets smelled like bleach, it was awesome!

The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping our room clean and tidy throughout our five-night stay. However, I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast options, which were fairly limited to bagels, bread, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and a few small extras. Additionally, the breakfast area had very limited seating—only about four tables—making it difficult to find a place to sit. The only other issue I noticed was with the flooring in our room, which was starting to lift and buckle. This made the floor uneven and occasionally caught on our socks. Otherwise, the staff was really great. The pool was nice.
- 4/5
This property was a bit of a diamond in the rough. The neighborhood wasn't what I was expecting, however the hotel itself was lovely enough. It's been fairly well renovated and has some pretty touches. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was dated and could use some updating, but it was fine. The pool was a nice to have, but was just OK. The breakfast was OK - bagels, bread, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal packets, pastries, yogurt, juice and coffee. The staff were lovely and everyone greeted us. The location was good and there were some great restaurants nearby. Overall, it was a nice stay for a short visit.
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, decent breakfast: hard boiled eggs, bagels, juice, cereal, danish.
- 4/5
Overall, the hotel itself was clean no strange smells the tub, drained properly etc. The neighborhood however, was questionable and about 2 o’clock in the morning some rowdy guests were partying in their room and talking loudly in the hall. The desk person must’ve calmed them down or they did that by themselves as it seemed to dissipate after a while luckily I had to get up at that time anyway. All in all though a very decent hotel and if you needed to stay in the area, I would certainly recommend it.
- 5/5
Love having hot tub in the room.
- 5/5
The hotel free breakfast menu is very very limited - no scrambled eggs, no sausage, no waffle, no hot oatmeal porrige, no toast, no hot dish items and not many fruits. It's very very simple.
- 5/5
The stay was comfortable. It’s near the Mesa Temple so it was convenient. The breakfast was sufficient for my needs.
- 4/5
I appreciated the well lit parking lot as a female traveling alone. Not sure why I was assigned a room for “disabled” but I did appreciate that for one who has those needs -the room was spot on from my perspective. The location worked for me as I was 15 minutes away from the events. I attended. So, location is how I I found The Azure - thank you! .
- 5/5
Friendly staff and the handicap-accessible features my wife & I needed, plus the high ceilings made even a small room feel more spacious.
- 5/5
Stayed here while attending a work event. WiFi was great and included and well as breakfast. Great place to stay if flying into PHX
- 2/5
Bedding was dirty and overnight staff did not seem happy that I came down for different bedding nor did I receive proper bedding or actual blanket just sheets
- 4/5
Very simple breakfast, nothing hot just bagels and pastries.
- 5/5
The hotel is good, modern bedrooms, comfty beds and the bathroom is good. The area is quiet since it is far from I-10. The breakfast is subpar, with no available hot options, just cereal, yogurt, pastries and boiled eggs. The area is nice though.
- 5/5
The Presidential Suite was way bigger than imagined, the high ceilings made the room feel huge! The in room jetted jacuzzi was perfect, all rooms should have one everywhere 😁 thank you for the lovely stay, we definitely recommend
- 4/5
Breakfast menu was non existent actually. There were no hot food offerings other than a toaster and microwave to make instant oatmeal. There was a tray of hard boiled eggs in a mini fridge. The coffee machine made way too strong coffee. We’ll stay somewhere else in the future.
- 4/5
simple and suitable
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet property, friendly staff.
- 3/5
I stayed in the suite and the in room jacuzzi was definitely the highlight. Overall the place is a bit dated. The sheets were a bit scratchy, but there was a good assortment of pillows. The continental breakfast was very mediocre but overall not a bad place by any means.
- 2/5
The hotel is too old and the area pool is horrible the furniture is old and dirt, im very disappointed. Doesn't look like the description of the website
- 4/5
This was a good stop before heading out on our Grand Canyon adventure. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Great place fir a good staycation.
- 5/5
Comfy place and excellent maintained facility
- 4/5
Nice stay. Pool was nice.
- 4/5

- 5/5

- 5/5
Our stay was very good! The staff were friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated a receptionist, Max, as he went above and beyond to help us. Our bed was comfortable. It's all very clean and orderly.
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
a nice place to stay. Restuaraunt across the street was excellent.
- 4/5
My home was being remodeled and I needed a quick place to stay near my house. The staff was pleasant, friendly & professional. My room was clean & bed was comfortable. I didn’t stay for breakfast except to grab a cup of coffee. Several other guests seemed to enjoy it.
- 5/5
Continental breakfast was beagles, toast, pastry, cold boiled eggs, cold cereal with milk, granola bars, flavored oatmeal packages to do in the microwave, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. Everything looks good and clean we didn’t use the pool and hot tub but it looks good too. Room was clean. Great location also.
- 5/5
Breakfast was continental. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Not a hot breakfest but great options will be coming back
- 5/5
Room was clean and beds were comfortable
- 5/5
This is our favorite stay in Mesa. We’ll be back again and again
- 5/5
Pool was nice, rooms were nice. Maxx at the front desk was great.
- 3/5
Great staff
- 5/5
We stayed in the presidential suite that had a hot tub in it and to our surprise the jets were really good and the water got really hot. The only downside to the room was the size of the bathroom. Other than that, the room was clean and big. The breakfast wasn't anything special. Did not use the outdoor pool but it looked ok.
- 4/5
Clean room, nice staff
- 1/5
This was the absolute worst hotel I have stayed at. The room was clean but the bed was not very comfortable. The biggest issue was being next to the staircase where a door constantly slammed all night waking me up and my daughter. We could not sleep. I had to message expedia at 4 in the am to try and get help and get out of this hotel asap. The lady working the front desk was so rude and did not care at all about customer service or even professionalism. When I asked to speak with someone who might be able to help me like the manager, she told me no one could talk to me, and I could call someone on Monday. That wasn't helpful considering it was the weekend and I needed a resolution that day. I had to check out and find another hotel nearby to stay at. It was truly a horrible experience, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. Do not stay here. You will regret it.
- 4/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Maxx was exceptional.
- 5/5
Best customer service super clean. I enjoy my day.
- 4/5
Rooms were of decent size, no carpeting, clean….but the pillows…..just miserable. Parking was close, easy and well lit. The area is rough looking with most of your normal shopping/eating options over two miles away. Tram service is right out front.
- 5/5
The room was clean and nicely decorated, there was a light switch that needs replacing in bathroom, otherwise it was wonderful.
- 4/5
Property and rooms are clean, staff is friendly. They can do better with the free breakfast options. Only offer coffee, toast/bagels, cereal. No hot bar food.
- 5/5
Great internet and close to all the baseball activities.
- 5/5
Although I arrived an hour before check-in, they were able to give me a room, although they had been sold out every night for weeks. Room was clean, comfortable, with everything in good working order, and the pool was very refreshing during the heat wave. The staff was friendly and helpful, answered all my questions about going to the airport, cubs games, etc. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great room that was clean and spacious for our whole family. Breakfast was simple, but solid and staff was friendly.
- 4/5

- 4/5
The room was clean and the place was well-managed.
- 4/5
Helpful staff. Very clean hotel. Nice pool and hot tub.
- 5/5
Just stayed one day but it was clean and staff was super friendly
- 5/5
Clean rooms, mini fridge, no microwave. Friendly staff who waited for us to arrive late at midnight. Parkinglot is well lit, and is near a well devloped town area. Close to many restaurants and markets
- 5/5
Max at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. He was busy keeping the breakfast full.
- 5/5
Very nice pool
- 4/5
It was a very suitable property
- 4/5
Bed was really hard. Room smelled slightly rancid, otherwise it was ok.
- 4/5
The mattress in our room 115 needs to be replaced, I woke up every morning with a sore lower back, I could hear the springs catch and then spring loose when I changed position. Staff was friendly, the hotel itself is a bit dated but very clean. The continental breakfast was decent. We did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that. Overall for the price it was good, just wished the mattress was better.
- 5/5
Nice place. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Hotel is nice. Ok location. As usual with hotels today they need to update charging areas in the room.
- 5/5
The accommodations were exactly as advertised. Morning breakfast was perfect to start our day.
- 5/5
All was Great

- 4/5
Pool was really cold. Breakfast was okay at best. Room was clean
- 4/5
The room was clean. The beds comfortable. You could hear when water was running in other bathrooms. The breakfast was just adequate.
- 5/5
Check in gal was helpful in figuring out where to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't try the breaker because we had to catch an early flight. Would stay there again for sure
- 5/5
Spacious clean room, nice quality furnishings, comfortable bed and linens. The hotel felt safe and well taken care of. Parking was easy. The breakfast wasn’t much, but that wasn’t important since we always buy some good yogurts and a bag of granola for vacation breakfasts. We switched here from an Airbnb that had no soundproofing and some loud babies in the adjacent unit, so the privacy of the Azure was extra noticeable and pleasant.
- 3/5
The breakfast area is small and the breakfast options are limited. If you forget to put the Do Not Disturb sign on, the cleaning staff will come and knock on your door at 9am.
- 5/5
Very clean. An older structure but some remodeling apparent. Everyone pleasant. Would stay again!
- 1/5
Room and staff. Ants in one room. Moved to another. Flashing light switch that could not be turned off. Night manager was good. Day manager should have a different job.
- 3/5
Beds were uncomfortable with no box springs
- 5/5
Everyone was really nice, clean rooms. Nice breakfasts in the mornings. Close to alot of restaurants.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and courteous. The breakfast was great. I would definitely come again.

Amenities

- 5/5
Great pool & hot tube , room was massive nice bed and clean! Hotel was easy to access
- 5/5
Great customer service ❤️ clean rooms
- 4/5
Clean, good customer service. A little loud as there isn’t a lot of insulation in the room, but comfortable.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful experience at Asia Hotel! Planned on staying for a night ended up staying for almost 3 weeks. And then found a new apartment and sign a lease. Thanks Azule hotel, especially Annette, Angie, and Becky!

Confirmation # 73364279756205 Please beware: Bed bug issue! We booked a room at this location and went inside to unpack. We were in the room probably no more than 15 minutes when we pulled back the covers of the bed and saw a bed bug scurrying across it. We squished the bug crawling in the sheets and immediately went to the front desk to show them. We asked to leave and for a refund due to the room having bed bugs and they told us they would discuss it with their manager and to call the next day. After receiving no call from property by 11am, I called the contact number given. They are still refusing to refund the room fee even though we left the hotel immediately, did not stay more than 15 minutes and handed them the BED BUG that we found in their room (which was a jetted jacuzzi king bed suite) We chose this property due to its whirl pool option and good reviews. We are horrified at the fact that we found bed bugs in their room and that they are refusing to refund the cost of the room to us. We had to purchase an additional room at another property (which we checked thoroughly and was very clean! We used the Best Western Plus Sundial and their king bed jetted jacuzzi suite was wonderful, clean and their customer service was amazing. Please consider using them instead.) We understand that things happen and bed bugs and pests can be a problem at hotels. We discussed this with the property and bugs would qualify as an extenuating circumstance.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and Brandon at the front desk was very accommodating. I was concerned about the thin walls I had seen mentioned in other reviews. The room next to our room we were able to hear people talking but once it became around 11 pm, everything was quite. Breakfast was average, nothing special but at least they offered one. If ever back in Mesa, would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Pictures make it look nicer than it is but overall wasnt horrible
- 4/5
Room clean and comfy. Pillows - a little too hard for our liking - small thing we can ignore. Bathroom clean and stocked. Continental breakfast - good. Price very competitive. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
The room was clean and staff were friendly. I picked this hotel because it had been rated fairly high. It was an average hotel with a subpar bfast. Pool was cold and the jacuzzi was gritty from sand and pebbles.
- 5/5
Rooms always clean. Staff very nice
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and quiet. It was a small intimate place friendly staff and housekeeping was great I will definitely recommend it.
- 5/5
It was just what I wanted. Close by my destination, clean, comfy bed nice tv menu, next to the best tacos I had in a while
- 4/5
Small locally owned hotel with reasonable price. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Could have had a dresser or sending in the room with the king bed.

I booked this hotel through Expedia with the listing stating Pay at Hotel. On the morning of arrival, my card was charged $246 while I was on the phone with a front desk employee, despite no pre-charge being disclosed at booking. I was told this was “standard practice,” which directly contradicted the Expedia listing. During the same call, I was told the remaining balance could not be paid with my mother’s card unless she was physically present at check-in. The employee was rude, refused to provide her name, and made inappropriate assumptions about my mother’s finances. At check-in, a different front desk agent was professional and accepted payment via Apple Pay without issue. I later learned Apple Pay does not display the cardholder’s name, meaning the strict policy enforced over the phone was not enforced at the desk and could be easily bypassed. This inconsistency caused unnecessary stress prior to arrival. The hotel itself is nice and the in-person service was good. However, given the unprofessional phone interaction, inconsistent payment handling, and confusion caused before arrival, acknowledgment of the incident — and appropriate compensation — would be reasonable.
- 5/5
The staff is great!
- 5/5
The room was cleaned daily; the staff was very good. Compared to other hotels, this was a good value for what you get.
- 5/5
Breakfast was pretty cool The beds were not very good at all. Definitely a basic hotel
- 5/5
Room was clean, bed was ok, shower was great.
- 5/5
Yes, and the staff 👏 very awesome 👌
- 5/5
Very nice in general. Staff was respectful.
- 5/5
This is a great property for downtown Mesa. Was close to everything and the staff was so friendly.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the hotel was generally quiet.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a key location to downtown Mesa. Clean and spacious with friendly and courteous front desk staff. My only complaint was the mattress was a little too firm. All in all a great stay. Will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Had to have the linen changed due to staining upon arrival. Not a great area, especially at night. The rooms are NOT sound proof so you will hear your hallway mates "activities" which included a lot of what appeared to be very sick people all around us. Would not return due solely on location and lack of feeling safe.
- 2/5
There was a dirt stain on my sheets. The pillow case had been washed so many times that it was rough.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5

- 4/5
Great room. Loved how they folded towels and was clean.. however there was a smell in the hallway and lobby and the juice at breakfast didnt taste very good like it was spolied. Overall wasnt bad had a nice time ..

- 5/5
Check in person was outstanding! Room was large and clean.
- 5/5
The room was real good and clean. The location of the hotel was perfect , all things we did was within 10 to 20 minutes away. We will be using again.
- 5/5
Excellent location, rooms where clean, staff where great. All round an excellent stay and would recommend
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, and the entire location was very quite.
- 5/5
Great room and staff was great
- 4/5
Beds were freshly made, clean and comfortable!
- 2/5
The room was for disabled person, was extremely lacking! 4 close hangers, one big drawer , closet had no pole for clothes ????why ? No door over what should be a closet ? TV was off center from bed , no art work , hospital rooms have better décor! Asked for a different room at front desk , denied, asked for more close hangers again denied….very sparse would not recommend this hotel , Thank God we only booked one night.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
This was a last minute find and did not dissapoint
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, great location. Definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Great place.
- 4/5
Room was clean but extremely dark when first entering. Had to feel around for a lamp or light switch. Did not partake of breakfast so I had no idea if it was good or not. front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The pool looked clean and inviting but I did not have time to use it. The location was very convenient to downtown Mesa. I would recommend it to others.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable.

- 5/5
The staff was friendly and very helpful
- 5/5
Great hidden Gem ... Rail and Park ... Sushi on N side of street
- 5/5
Excellent for everything. I will stay again.
- 4/5
We loved that is was close to the LDS temple, so beautiful. The night clerk was a little different. Nice, but asked too many questions about the guests I brought. Didn't make it a comfortable check-in. The continental breakfast was definitely old school, not a ton too offer, but it was fine. It seemed quiet and safe. The elevator broke down, but no worries, we are all runners and the stairs were close to the elevator. The tv was modern and about a 50", so really nice!. The rooms were clean!
- 5/5
Breakfast was alright, there were both healthy and unhealthy options. A teen sports team descended on the hotel on Friday and were loud untip midnight. But that was not the hotel's fault. Very convenient location, I could walk or take ouvlic transport.
- 5/5
Big room super comfy beds !!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
The staff was awesome especially the housekeepers they were really amazing and very friendly loved talking to them. They even helped with my child while my hands were full with bags. Definitely will go back thabk you.
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet. Nice location
- 5/5
I was out here for a wedding from out of state so I didn’t get to participate in much on the property! I will say staff was friendly, available when needed to ask questions and the room was nice and spacious and very clean! There is also a lot of dining options nearby as well! I felt safe in the quiet neighborhood as well!
- 5/5
The room was very clean and friendly staff.
- 2/5
The room was nice except the couch that folds out into bed had a very thin mattress rods filling through to body all night long. Very uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Awesome offer! A $150 normal rate was actually much less, and still it was really comfortable and felt like luxury!
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
clean room. kind staff.
- 4/5
The room was clean, grounds were well maintained, location was a bit isolated, breakfast could use more hot foods like eggs and sausage, staff was courteous. I would stay there again.
- 4/5
The place was a pleasant surprise. Clean and quiet. My only complaint was the not blackout Blinds. Horizontal stripes? Who ever thought this was a good idea needs to be the one who gets to paint them solid, for free on their day off. other than that a 4.5
- 3/5
Need new mattress in the rooms. Need a better variety on breakfast
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay. Highly recommended
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean rooms, good stay
- 1/5
Staff was rude and unprofessional
- 5/5
I was extremely comfortable in this hotel, in every way. I have traveled a large portion of the western world (Europe, North, South, and Mid-Americas), both for work and for pleasure. I have stayed in everything from Hostels to five star Hotels. In none of them was I more comfortable than in this Hotel. Rarely heard my neighbors, it was very clean, it didn't have that feeling that the grime was hiding somewhere or just barely being kept at bay, etc. Just a really great stay. A three star hotel in Mesa, AZ that outperformed, for instance, the Ritz Carlton I stayed in in Montreal, Canada, in every way. Nice place, nice people, just good. My only complaint is that the cleaning was so very thorough that the cleaning "perfume" was pretty strong -- but I have pretty bad allergies to perfumes and it never bothered me.
- 2/5
Squeaky beds could hear every toss and turn. Bathtub had built up grime in corners. Front desk was not very friendly or attentive. Neighborhood was sketchy. Will not book here again. Wanted to check out early and go elsewhere but we were busy for a weddinf
- 5/5
Breakfast variety limited, but fresh
- 4/5
Hot tub was clean and hot enough. Jets worked great. Pool was clean and so was the area. Clean big towels! We’d stay there again! Cleaning staff were superb!
- 3/5
We checked in and all was well, but the room was quite warm and we could not turn on the cooler. We were getting ready to go to a wedding and needed to get going, and we tole the desk person, who seemed to be alone. He tried all the buttons and a gentle kick. nothing. he said to let it alone and would probably kick in. He had no others rooms were available. When we came back from the wedding about 9, we summoned him again. He checked it and offered a large fan, we used it , thank goodness it was quiet, but quite warm by morning. Surprised no offer of part of cost was given. But he was kind.
- 4/5
Good room, clean friendly staff good TV channels
- 5/5
Staff was ok
- 3/5
Bed was not comfortable, desk attendant was asleep at the desk and I couldn’t get him to wake up to open the doors.
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Very accommodating, lovely room, good towels,, water pressure and lasting hot water, clean pool and hot tub
- 5/5
I stayed the night as I was attending a wedding close by.
- 1/5
Tv by hot tube was broken. Staff tried to play it off and said a manager would call but never heard from anyone. I would never recommend or stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet,great experience
- 5/5
All went well w/ my stay at the Azure 👍👍
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly, helpful and eager to answer any questions. Common areas and my room were very clean. Room was comfortable and spacious.
- 5/5
Rooms are very clean.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Clean room. Looks just like the photos. Simple, functional, no-nonsense. Checkin super easy, front desk staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast is also simple and does the job (cereal, hardboiled eggs, danish, bagels, bread for toast, yogurt, juice). Tidy presentation and no problem with 4 tables (unlike another review...only saw 2 other ppl, plenty of space).
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Pretty quiet. Cable tv that works better than most hotels.
- 5/5
We didn't try the hot tub or laundry service. But, everything else was very very good. Especially the house keeper. Thank you.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff very helpful.
- 4/5
it was not what I expected but for the price and the short distance I had to travel for the wedding .
- 3/5
Checking was alittle bit of a hassle. They would not let my wife check us in. She was on my account. Why was she removed?
- 5/5
Clean and nice amenities. Convenient access to everything you need.
- 4/5
The room was upgraded and very clean. I wish was in a better area but great overall.
- 5/5
Clean room and pool.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
I really like it
- 4/5
Older building. Kept well. Nice pool area
- 5/5
I love this hotel I wish pool area had longer hours
- 4/5
Hotel was ok and clean. The breakfast is more of a coffee and pastry stop.
- 5/5
It was all good. Dont need to comment
- 5/5
Check in was quick and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean with the exception of the laminate flooring. It looks clean, doesn’t feel dirty, but I spilled some white wine on the floor and used a towel to clean it up, the towel was no longer white. I did let the hotel know to maybe do a better job of washing the floors. Pool was decent. Lots of shade areas but only 3 sun loungers. Breakfast was not very desirable. Bagels were not always the freshest and the usual rubber boiled eggs and cereals. The fruit was only oranges and they looked old and wrinkly. I’d stay again though. Location was great for attending an event at the Mesa Art Center.
- 5/5
I spent my honeymoon here and was in love.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean. The room was spacious and very well maintained. Most likely I'll be staying here again.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet place to stay. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and amenities
- 5/5
Yes laundry was convenient, staff was friendly, room was clean. Breakfasts was fulfilling
- 2/5
Bathroom bit sticky
- 3/5
Nice rooms but the area around it isn’t the best. I was woken up in the middle of the night by banging upstairs and had trouble sleeping after that. I was traveling alone and ended up checking out a day early because I didn’t feel safe. If I was with someone things might have been different. I also had to pay for that last night even though I didn’t stay there.
- 5/5
Helpful staff, safe feel.
- 5/5
The Azure Hotel far exceeded my expectations. Check-in was easy. The room was spotless. Daily housekeeping was a plus. We would stay here again. The staff were friendly and professional.
- 5/5
Staff always ready to help
- 5/5
All was great - sleep, tv, room service, breakfast. No complaints, no surprises.
- 5/5
Very clean and beautiful hotel. Quiet. East access. Staff very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Limited breakfast No hot items, except toast and bagels. Yogurt, hard boiled eggs, two types of cereal and oatmeal.
- 2/5
The air conditioner was super noisy and woke us up every time it came on. The walls super thin and could hear everything all the way to the front desk. The hotel was nice, clean and well kept, the area was super sketchy though. Couldn’t wait to leave, felt super unsafe
- 5/5
Clean room, I had to have them change out the pillow cases once after room service because 3 out of 5 were rough, not soft, staff was great, hot tub was a perfect temperature, breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, no waffle maker but it had boiled eggs, yogurt, protien bars etc.
- 4/5
great visit, clean, courtesous staff, bed a tad firm but clean.. would recommend the azure
- 3/5
The staff was awesome, the girl that checked us in was very kind and patient and the lady thar checked us out and returned my deposit was quick and got me on my way
- 4/5
The Azure Hotel is a good value. It’s on the edge of downtown Mesa in an area slowly being developed. It’s mostly comfortable (blackout curtains would be a nice upgrade) and the staff is great. It’s a basic hotel that does that job well.
- 4/5
Quiet place. I really doubt the bed was actually a king size as advertised. It was probably a queen size bed. Otherwise it was a good place to stay.
- 3/5
It was fine…
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
I love the comfort of the whole stay. Rooms very clean. Breakfast is k need to start adding scrambled eggs & bacon like before. 💯 very quiet & friendly. Jt wk on BREAKFAST!!
- 4/5
Reasonable rates
- 4/5
Bed was very comfortable. My one issue is the bathroom sink, specifically the faucet. The spigot is too short to allow all the water to go into the sink. No room to wet hands. Water all over the counter.
- 5/5
Only issue were some a/c units were screaming and need repair. I only mention it because when they turned on, it sounded like a train coming down the hall
- 5/5
Good and nice hotel.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience in the room w the hot tub. The hotel smells incredible. Really nice location too
- 4/5
Clean, good location - TV was not user friendly!
- 4/5
Clean and huge
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
Bedding is very important to us. Their beds are very comfortable. Located in a very convenient area of Mesa. The hotel is very clean.
- 5/5
The young guy at the hotel lobby was extremely nice and the room was clean. Not a single complaint at all. Will be staying again in the future
- 5/5
Two thumbs up. Got the presidential suite and it was worth it. Fun getaway
- 5/5
We booked the room with in suite jacuzzi. The room was very large, clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 4/5
Reception was helpful. Clean and comfortable. Good continental breakfast. Our only complaint is that the pillows were all too thick and firm.
- 5/5
Staff was impressive! Would readily recommend…
- 5/5
2nd stay here, and no complaints! Free breakfast was awesome. The first time I stayed the in-room jacuzzi was amazing! The pool looked refreshing, but closes early (24 hr would be cool, but closes at 10pm I think) Staff was polite and honest. Lots of fresh towels and nothing shady about this place at all. Minimal traffic and a safer area in the heart of Mesa
- 5/5
very clean as always
- 4/5
The room was very stuffy and had a foul smell. The front desk staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Very clean, affordable, nice space.
- 5/5
We loved our stay! Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!!
- 5/5
The employees are always nice
- 5/5
Front desk agent is always nice
- 5/5
It was quite
- 5/5
Amazing customer service, clean rooms,
- 5/5
The outdoor pool had a covered lounge area that was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Nice place.
- 5/5
Real steal. Nice, clean hotel w/ a 55” TV screen!
- 5/5
AC/ laundry/ outdoor pool were good
- 5/5
The Azure Hotel is affordable, comfortable and great location!! The rail line is out front, about 1/3 mile from the hotel. We went to a concert downtown and the rail line was amazing!! Great location close to many restaurants. The pool looked inviting (no time), and the continental breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and I don’t usually like breakfast but this was top tier. Pool was fun to use I forgot they even had one and I enjoyed it! Rooms are very clean I would definitely stay here again!
- 3/5
The staff were super nice and this was a great location. The room seemed clean and I appreciated getting an extra pillow. Unfortunately, our window faced the parking lot which had very bright lighting, and the curtains were inadequate to block out the light, so our room stayed bright all night long. There wasn't a sheer curtain layer to let light in with privacy during the day. We could hear the people above us walking around until after midnight, so the soundproofing was poor. The morning coffee in the lobby was weirdly watery, but we appreciated getting a bagel.
- 4/5
Very simple and clean. Close to the Mesa Arts Centre. Nice staff.
- 5/5
Nice and clean local hotel, very well priced and close to downtown mesa. Will be my go to stay when visiting family in Mesa.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
The staff are very friendly & helpful
- 5/5
Diamond in a rough.
- 5/5
Very easy check in
- 4/5
Great stay, especially for the price. Modern, clean, friendly staff. Nice continental breakfast and outdoor pool.
- 5/5
Laundry in the hotel, pool, vending machines, water fountain, all the basics! The family studio was clean and spacious, and we were able to check in early which was a major plus. There are a bunch of neat little stores nearby! Good water pressure. No microwaves in the room, but a decent mini fridge. Easy and ample parking, I would stay here again
- 5/5
Great Staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and tidy.
- 1/5
I've stayed at the hotel in the past and it was a complete different experience. This time they had removed the window louvers making the rooms impossible to sleep with the amount of light coming in. Finally at 1am in the morning when asked to them deal with the situation they insisted on coming to the room only to agree they couldn't resolve the issue. They then agreed to move move into another room with two beds instead of one. Upon trying to deal with it the next morning it was explained that the owner no longer wants the expense of louvers. They agreed for me to check out and refund my next day. I checked at 8am and they gave me the same story assuring me the refund would be applied to my card. Once hotel.com called they refused to return the money after agreeing at the front desk.
- 4/5
Staf was kind with good service
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
It was amazing, exactly how it looks in the pictures. I really recommend the place. Thank you.
- 5/5
This is always a relaxing hotel to stay at. We’ve stayed here many times and it is always very nice. The staff are friendly and the rooms are always clean and well kept.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Annette and Becky are Rockstars and the the property is awesome and very, reasonablely priced. This is not my first time staying at Azure and will not be the last.
- 5/5
**Great property and great staff.
- 1/5
Worse place ever no AC no communication no help!
- 3/5
Ok stay, hotel just not as nice as the pics. Lobby furniture was dirty and breakfast was very limited. Check in was polite, not sure we were even spoken to upon checkout. If you get a good/cheap deal it’s not a terrible place to stay, just don’t expect much. The pool and hot tub were nice.
- 5/5
Bed was not the comfiest it was hard
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Nice hotel, it was clean and safe
- 4/5
I didn’t get a immediate check in like I was advised over the phone so they lied when I got there they were rude and advised no rooms until three after I traveled 16hrs non stop she should be reprimanded
- 5/5
We were ready for a quiet cold evening, in downtown Mesa. This is the place!
- 5/5
Amazing gem for that part of Mesa. I've stayed several times and have never been disappointed.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the area. They didnt know where the tram out front went and what stops were available. The bathtub in my room had a couple of rust spots where the ceramic was chipped out, otherwise the room was clean. I scheduled for a late checkout at noon and the house keeping staff attempted to enter my room at 11:20. Not a fan of the invasion of privacy. Im not sure if there was a communication error or whoever helped me extend the checkout at the front desk didnt put it in the system.
- 5/5
Nice place at a reasonable price.
- 4/5
Room was large and very comfortable
- 5/5
The Azure met my basic requirements of safety for me and my vehicle, quietness day and night and my basic needs of a working shower and air conditioner. Also, it's conveniently located on Mesa's Main St. where all the happening places are. I would definitely stay here again!
- 1/5
It was our anniversary and everything was supposed to go off without a hitch unfortunately when I returned to our room I noticed a bed bug climbing on the wall i immediately checked out told them the problem show them the bed bug even took pictures the staff told me that they had had a dog in my room just a week before yeah it says no pets we tried to get a refund and somehow they lied about us when we checked out about everything to do with that bed bug so I believe that they have bed bug issues and they are not taking care of them it was the worst day ever for an anniversary and I've called and called and they keep giving me the runaround but not giving me a refund for my money so I suggest not staying at the Azure unless you want bed bugs in your home
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again!!
- 5/5
Excellent in all ways, Mesa,AZ. is great.
- 5/5
The staff were excellent and rooms are clean. I definitely will stay there again when I visit
- 5/5
Great hotel to stay at. Its affordable and really nice.
- 1/5
I’ve called and spoke to front desk on recorded call. Was told shows reservation was canceled and no reports of damage or misuse of room yet the money for the daily fee AND the $100 deposit is no longer in pending status! Which means they asked me to leave AND STILL CHARGED ME ON TOP OF KEEPING THE DEPOSIT- and this is all over my service dog being left 20 feet down the hall at 6 am when I decided to try to very sub par continental breakfast where I was approached AGAIN and complained at over then frankly just not being pet friendly- I almost was going to say ok I’ll leave once I see the refund but instead took the high road packed I’m CLEANED UP and I mean trash in the trash can towels all piled on the floor except the towels I put in the cleaning cart that were wet from the shower over flowing onto the floor which I reported and explain I need a couple more cause those towel are wet on now in the cart .. I left 15 min before check out time and left the room CLEAN yet you still charged me for the room and deposit. This isn’t a threat unless the hotel wants to turn it into one but my brother-in-law is an attorney here in the state of Arizona and it is actually illegal for you to charge a customer for a room. They did not stay in especially if you canceled their reservation. And I know you don’t have pictures of any damage of the room because I left the room, taking my own pictures, knowing that this might happen to simply because of this experience that I had with your staff
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and affordabile. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the East Valley, but are on a budget
- 1/5
This place is ran by disgusting old females who just love to b*tch and complain about anything they can possibly b*tch about. They just kicked me out because I was respectful and didn’t bring my service dog to the food area and let him stay in the room. They start accusing me of him not really being a service dog, when I go to extend a day cause I came down with strep throat they KICK ME OUT. I most likely got sick staying here I was fine until day after arrival. Save and protect your self and health and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST
- 4/5
The room was clean, however did find a big bug and put it in the trash.
- 4/5
Good for price
- 4/5
Like the size of the room.
- 1/5
Front desk staff very unprofessional Internet, nonexistent dial up
- 5/5
Nice place. Not expensive. On the alight Rail line.
- 5/5
Other than the initial check-in in which didn't seem as friendly as I anticipated, it went well. The person who checked me in eventually opened up and said hi/bye as I passed by. Everything else was great 👍. I will be returning.
- 5/5
Great room and bathroom. Staff was helpful and the area was quiet with easy parking!
- 5/5
They made us feel welcome and assisted us with what we needed
- 5/5
Recommended!
- 5/5
Cleanliness of the room and surroundings.
- 5/5
Clean property.
- 4/5
We were pleasantly surprised to have daily maid service. Our only complaint was the the WiFi would not open on our 2 computers.
- 3/5
Spider found in the bed. Housekeeping didn’t bring more toilet paper. Breakfast needs help but you get what you pay for. I liked that you had to use your room key to get into the building. The lady that checked us in was extremely helpful I didn’t get her name unfortunately. Beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Overall pretty good for the price we paid. Breakfast could definitely use a little work. The lady that checked us in was great. Asked housekeeping twice for more toilet paper they never brought it. Ended up going to the front desk after 11pm to get more. Found a spider crawling in the bed.
- 4/5
The place is nice. Right in the middle of Mesa across from the metro line. Literally steps away from the station. I booked the family suite which has two queens in one room and the other room serves as the family room. It has another TV, a long couch with a pull out bed, two love seats, two cushioned chairs and then a small round dining table with two small chairs tucked into a corner. Underneath the tv is a long table where the phone and coffee machine are. Underneath, as you open one of the cabinets, that’s where the mini fridge is. I didn’t notice it until our second day there. One thing that I thought was very odd was there was not one dresser in there. Not even a microwave. We had nowhere to put our clothes. We just pulled from our suitcases. And we had to take the elevator down to the bottom floor to use the microwave in the dining room area. Down on the first floor is also where the only ice machine is. Very inconvenient. The breakfast is advertised as being “hot” which was one of the main reasons I booked here. I enjoy a nice cooked breakfast, maybe some scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon. Some toast or hotcakes. We got none of that. Their “hot” breakfast is just a continental breakfast with an available toaster. They had a bunch of hard boiled eggs. Some bagels and wheat bread. Cream cheese packets and butter. Also some peanut butter packets. Some yogurt, cereal with milk, granola bars and some fruit. And a sweet danish which was good warmed up. That was it. I’d rebook
- 5/5
The Azure is a delight 😊
- 5/5
Spacious room and bathroom, clean, functional, safe, quiet surroundings, short walk to lightrail station, free parking, breakfast included. No microwave, but there’s a fridge and coffee machine. Very comfy bed, lots of pillows; hairdryer.
