The motel was comfortable and close to our destination in Phoenix. That was helpful. So was the parking helpful. Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to use the pool.

We rented two rooms. Beds in both rooms were very uncomfortable. In one room, the tub-faucet had a stead dribble of water and could not be stopped. For the tub shower, the lower faucet ran as well. Other than that, we had clean and safe rooms to stay in and the office staff all were excellent.

The front desk and staff was very nice. But the property did smell like smoke, which is understandable because there may be smoking rooms available somewhere. Other than that - no complaints!

Truly an abysmal stay. Nothing is what it was supposed to be. They're in the middle of a remodel so you would think they would be eager to help to make up for that, and they aren't. 1 out of 10, I will stay far away from this place in the future.

After my daughter and I arrived at the hotel, we went to get some food, came back to the hotel and police were just leaving. The place was very sketchy and my daughter and I did not feel safe. We went to the room, ate our dinner, and made reservations at a different hotel so we could get out of there. The lobby smelled like marijuana when I went in to check in and when we went to our room, the entire building smelled like marijuana. The beds were AWFUL, they were like a queen sized cot on a metal bed frame. They were very uncomfortable and we would not have slept a wink if we stayed. And on top of all of that, the pool was closed which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel to begin with.

The room was clean They had extremely loud construction that they did not inform me of right by my room that would start at 5 am and not end until the afternoon, nobody was at the front desks while construction was happening and when I had to check out early for my flight they wouldn’t give me my deposit in cash because a manager wasn’t there so I had to go through a lot of trouble to get someone to get my cash deposit and send me the money on Venmo. Not a good area aswell a lady was going around asking for fent.

There was blood splattered on the ceiling and shower curtain rod over the tub. Tiles around the tub were missing. There was no hairdryer. I was ogled by worker men whenever I went in or out of my room. The mattress was worn & uncomfortable, the a/c unit was dirty and rattled, and the stairwell leading to my room was gross. I got a refund and found another hotel instead.

Room shower dispensers were empty & 1 washcloth in room. We stayed 2 nites & were out of room all day but it wasn't tidied up on our return. TV wouldn't turn off or change channels. Front ofc cashier had a negative attitude, slightly snoddy. Cigarette butt on floor of hallway & lingering smell of unusual odor. Our key wouldn't allow us access Saturday nite after long day & evening at an event. We had to trouble the 'not so nice front-ofc gal'. She was talking to us behind the wall upon our approach to the counter. Explained that key card wouldn't work. She scolded us for carrying it in our wallet. I'll book at another motel next time. Customer Service and safety should be a top priority for this establishment.

facility was being renovated, so there was a little added chaos, but everyone was friendly. having no coffee pot in the room and no coffee offered in the lobby was a real turn-off for us. The new flooring is nice, but I fear it hides the dirt too well. After taking my shoes and socks off, I could feel the grit on my feet. Also, someone needs to make sure to move furniture when cleaning because there were dead bugs (cockroach) under the chair. At least it was dead!! there was mold on the ceiling in shower area (yuck!!) and the little refrigerator made awful noises all night! We did appreciate having a fridge though!!

The lobby is in renovation, no amenities like coffee or breakfast. The room said that should have coffee maker and hair dryer and had none.

Firstly, the room was good and clean. Also pretty good sized. A\C was great, which is good in Mesa as we get closer to summer. Location was great for my purposes. Although West Main in Mesa isn't much to look at. But that isn't Super 8's fault. The bed was not to my liking. I like a firm mattress, but that one went a little too far with it.

I checked out and my vehicle was pulled up in front of the office. My best friend was on the passenger side and I was getting in the driver side. Some guy opens the rear passenger door and starts rifling thru our belongings. We had to scream at him to drop everything and get out!!! It scared us like crazy!?

Housekeeping staff did not show up once during our three night stay. A breaker tripped, cutting off all power to the room soon after we occupied it. The problem was resolved promptly. The location is in a sketchy part of town.

No continental breakfast offered for costly rooms. Very little contact with desk person other than 'yes' and 'no'. Was ok just to sleep & shower.

The short one day stay was bad. We got our truck broken into and a red wagon we thought was secured was not. The amount we paid guess it doesn’t include security. Looked like people lived there with me fixing vehicles. Our vehicle was not secured. That was too bad our grand daughter wagon she grew into is gone.

The room was extremely dated and had a strange, lingering smell. The air conditioner was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep at all. Most importantly, this hotel has a serious bed bug infestation. My hands and body are covered in bites. The hygiene standards are unacceptably poor. Please, save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

Hall carpet very dirty & needs to be replaced. Tub/shower very very slippery and needs rubber mat and safety bar. My wife fell in tub while showering and is in quite a bit of pain. Stayed 5 nights and had to walk on dirty flooring barefooted from dirt tracked in from hallway.

The rooms were clean, the hallway stunk of cigarettes, weed and urine. Pretty sure there is several people who are living out of this place, not the type of place you want to stay with ypue family. We won't be staying here again

The hotel housed a mentally ill patient, who screamed and yelled all night. My daughter and I were so scared, we could not sleep. The staff was aware of the situation, but didn’t seem to care. We checked out early the next morning and are trying to get a refund for the remainder of our stay. I contacted Expedia, who said that I had to contact the hotel manager myself. What a nightmare!

This hotel is not clean, they don't service rooms at all, to the point that there isn't shampoo in the rooms. Also, it's not near anything but a collection of trailer parks. I made a mistake staying here.

Asked for late checkout and was told yes. Came back to the hotel to find out staff went into my room and without permission went through my family’s belongings. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they didn’t have one on duty. I will never stay there again

The room was in horrible shape. The cracked sink was leaking underneath upon arrival. We did not venture to the pool. Never left the room, frankly.

No hangers in the room. I almost fell in the slippery tub when taking a shower. Smelled like pot everywhere. Garbage and cigarette butts all over outside. Some guy hollering and swearing for over an hour at 2 in the morning.

The staff was very nice, cleanliness wasn’t horrible in the room. There was a strong odor of some sort of cleaner; maybe covering up something??, The property definitely needs some attention. Carpets in hallways were old and dirty, but the room had hard surface floor so I think that was a good thing. We won’t be staying here again.

This is not a hotel for seniors. No grab bars in shower. No Bible is room. TV did not work. The key card had to be reenergized every other day. No recomemded.

For $86 I guess I shouldn’t have expected more.

Did not use hot tub. By the looks of everything else it probably was not maintained properly. Drug deals going down. Place was filthy.never seen so much dog poop surrounding the entire hotel. Disgusting!

Good night for the low price. The room was large and had a mini fridge and microwave. The only issue was the shower. The hot water sometimes went out quickly or there wasn't any at all. But 5 minutes later it would be hot again.

I left shortly after check-in and found an alternative accommodation for the night. I feared for the safety of myself and my child. Booking a night here was a big mistake.

They checked me into a room they were doing work in. I had to go back to the front desk to fix their mistake and the whole reason I needed this room is because I am having surgery this afternoon. It is very noisy like people slamming stuff around all nigh. Front desk is not clearly labeled so I was confused trying to find check in. Overall I would not stay here again unless I had no other available option

I do not often write poor reviews. The manager and the day shift worker that worked on Tuesday were wonderful but the girl who worked Monday night was rude. The first night that I was there I went to have a hot tub and there were cigarette bitts all over the ground and there was a weird man in a hospital gown. There were no restaurants in walking distance so had to uber everywhere I went. I learned during my stay that many of the people who stay at this hotel are homeless people who are hoping to find a home one day so I truly hope they are able to find that.

Everything is clean. It's a little older but well kept and charming. The pool area and the huge Jacuzzi with the powerful jets is amazing. Hands down the best staff around those 3 young ladies that work the front desk are what hospitality is supposed to be like. Great job ladies. Thank you all so much !

Always a pleasant stay. But the internet, please get better internet. It makes working from the hotel difficult when i am only getting AOL dial up speeds. But outside of that, room and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay the few weeks I was there. Staff was some of the nicest I’ve been around n a long time. Great breakfast and the coffee, idk what kind it was. But damn it was good. Clean rooms, with plenty of space.

Someone broke into my room while i was gone. I tried to make a complaint and was told they can not take it. I would have to wait two days.

Ran out of soap, trashes needed to be emptied in room, a clean towel wld have been nice. No trash cans around the pool around which then makes ppl end up leaving their trash. Same with snack room, there was no trash can??

Was much more a drug den than a clean place to stay. Vomit on floor of hallway, trash everywhere, i could smell the drugs getting cooked. Pretty awful

The Cable didn't work in my room not one time!

The room was dirty. When I was checking in, the girl was so worried about her phone call she barely paid any attention to checking me. Didn’t give me any information about check out times, pool times or anything about the property. The hotel was under construction so the halls were full of furniture. Even though I set my room key card on top of the dresser around nothing else, it was unable to be used the following day. The light switches were barely hanging on. You had to touch them just right to turn on the lights. There is no insulation in the door and every sound made in the hallway could be heard all night long. You could also see light coming from the hall through the door frame. The AC was so loud. In order to hear the tv, the sound had to be turned up to 35 just to hear it over the AC.

I don't know if it was the room that I was in, but there was a little rust stain in the tub and the bed that I was in was extremely uncomfortable

The room was simple and tidy. My only concern was some sketchy people that made me a little nervous. However, it was spring break so what do you want... I seem to recall the room had some quirks like the door rubbing on the floor and stains on the desk. Overall, I was glad to have a decent room at a decent price.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were nice and the room I had was quite good, especially when comparing the price of it to other hotels nearby, some which were nearly double. I am satisfied with my stay and would definitely stay again. There were a few times at night that it was noisy out in the hall, but it usually only lasted a couple seconds. The parking lot was usually easy to find parking and the car stayed safe. God bless you and your team for your hard work and service.

The room smelled clean when I entered, the reception at the front desk was great, and it looks like new furniture was coming in. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no plug for the bathtub. Other than that, I got my money's worth, thank you so much!

What a dump. Don't think you are going to have a friend meet you there if you have plans to hang out or go to lunch . You will be required to register them as a guest in the room and pay extra for them.

I enjoyed my time there, the only problem I had was room service never came in the 5 days I was there, so I went to the Desk and they said I have to request it, I told them I didn't really need Room Service, I just needed clean towels, so they told me to just put my towels out the door and they would leave new ones so I did but new ones never showed up, But all in all it was a great stay

Room had old beds, no couch or table, vending machine out of water for days, poor area and appeared to have long term transit people staying there.

Seemed like another recently renovated motel. Good try, but a ways to go to be a nice hotel. Tv didn’t work well. Had to figure that out. Towels looked like crap. No rugs, no warmth. Looked like a dorm room. Was there a staff?

It was a great value for a simple room in Phoenix. Bed was comfy, room was clean, not too many amenities. The chair was funky and broken but would stay here again.

Good customer service.

I found several hairs of someone else on the top bedspread of my bed. I spilled some water from the shower on the bathroom floor and used the towels provided to clean it up. I asked the front desk for new towels and to empty the trash. Housekeeping left a new set of towels on the bathroom counter but did not remove the dirty towels from the room. They also left trash bags on the counter but did not actually empty the full trash cans. The bathroom often smelled like cigarette smoke or pot smoke, so it seemed like air flow from another or other rooms was getting into the bathroom. It's supposed to be a non-smoking property, but they didn't seem to be making an effort to enforce that. One night, there was bass from a stereo in another room or a car stereo that could be heard past midnight. I often heard other room doors slamming throughout the night and early morning. I get that some of these issues are outside the control of hotel staff. Even so, all things considered it was a 2-star experience and I will not book again.

This isn't as near to Sloan Park as you think, it's not in the best of areas, lots of RV and trailer parks surrounding it and transients at all hours. It's a former Econolodge that is being turned into a Studio 6, hallways and interior of rooms are certainly dated. Only good thing is it's right off the light rail, easy access to Tempe, Mesa, etc. I wish I would have researched this a bit better.

When we got in our room and turned on the TV, it did not work. However, a young man was quick to move us to a different room and everything was perfect.

Good spot. Affordable. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Close to downtown mesa.

Bed sheets were dirty and had burn holes in the blankets. AC was extremely noisy and rattled loudly. Remote control had tape holding in the batteries. Area around the hotel was less than desirable. Pool was disquieting in appearance.

Front desk agent was polite and helpful. Recommend to anyone looking for a quick weekend getaway.

The staff is phenomenal. I needed to travel for work weekly and would stay over at this location because the staff was above expectations, reliable, and raised the bar for professional hospitality.

The place smelled like weed the sink had big cracks in it and didn’t drain the pillows looked as if they ran them over with the cart wheels the toilet seat was discolored it was nasty

1. - No way to contact anyone. 2. - No chairs in the lobby, so had to stand. 3. - No restroom available following a long drive.

The curtains were ripped, washroom had very dark lighting, poor lighting throughout room, as no lamps in room. Pillows were awful and only three single bed size pillows. Called front to ask for additional and they said “no” and they didn’t have any toiletries. Sheets were polyester, no actual blanket. Had a two sheet with a single polyester fuzz blanket between. Cheap bedding

Everything was great some of the room was a little dirty here or there but overall fairly clean. My biggest complaint by was the mattress felt like a cement block and after three nights sleeping on it my back is pretty messed up.

Our first room was king bed and it was clean but curtains had holes or were ripped, bedding was white with yellow stains, no stopper in bathtub to take a bath. Remote didnt always work. Poeple around us were very loud and door slamming constantly all night long for the first 2 nights. Ice machine made loud noise everytime it cycled. The last 2 nights we moved to another room king bed both knobs for shower and sink broken and swung around, no fan in bathroom and remote didnt work, curtains torn and holes all over it. We were next to the outdoor entrance with it slamming everytime went in our out. Cable for complex was spotty and went in and out constantly. I will never stay here again.

Minimal lighting in room - no table lamps, just overhead lighting; paper thin walls, seems to cater to the lower ranks of society, pets are allowed but a dog kept raising cane during the early evening hours - had to go to front desk to register a complaint; no clocks in room, however, when asked, front office staff provided one; no continental breakfast; was just a stop over for a night because of distance travelled towards destination, won't stay again. Bed was comfortable but spartan furnishings in room.

Tv didn't turn on. Had about 20 flys in our room. People across the hall were fighting and slamming doors. It was a nice room and clean. Need handicap bars in the bathrooms or non skid stickers in the tub.

Staff except for one young girl was very nice. The room was clean and bed comfortable. But I have never been in such a sparse room. Hardly any furniture, lamps etc. Water leaked from roof in bathroom and hair dryer did not work. No breakfast. The people I met around the property were very sketchy and the smell of tobacco and weed was very strong. I realize this is a budget motel but not worth the amount I had to spend.

Basic hotel, decent rooms, nice staff. Hallways are old and need new carpet but room was clean. Nice balcony and outdoor pool/hot tub.
