The hotel room had hard floors which I thought was cool until I saw all the crumbs all over the floor. Behind the toilet, looked like it has never been cleaned. The towels were all dingy. The staff was very nice though. The only low sugar thing they had for their breakfast option was hard-boiled eggs. The refrigerator in the room sound sounded like a sonogram swishing all night long.

Newer hotel. They could have done a better job with noise insulating. People in room above I’m sure were just walking but it was very loud. Most annoyed by not having signs of hours the exterior doors allow key cards to work. Got back to the hotel at 11pm went to use the key and it wasn’t working. Ended up having to walk all the way around to the front to end and then get back to our room on the back side of the hotel. Simple sign would have educated me on not parking there with small kids I needed to get back into the hotel room. Otherwise a decent average hotel stay. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms are comfortable. Good bed, AC worked well, clean. High ceilings, multiple charging stations, fold out desk. I would call the room minimalist, but not in a bad way. Fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron in room. Decent pool and hot tub. Breakfast bar is a bit carb heavy, but was good. Staff was great. Would happily stay here again.

The room was clean, but for a new hotel, many of the items in the room were old. The bathtub was chipped, and the shelves appeared to be older than the rest of the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and I had control over the thermostat so I was comfortable at all times. The television had a few good channels to watch. Across the street were some pretty decent restaurants to eat at. I really enjoyed Moku Hawaiian grill. Breakfast was kinda carby. There was yogurt and hardboard eggs, but the eggs were overcooked. I did enjoy the bagels, yogurt, juice, and coffee. The 24-hour coffee bar was fantastic. The staff were great. Very attentive. Great customer service. The airport shuttle doesn’t run at night so make sure to call ahead. Overall I had a good stay. A nice hotel at a good value.

It’s an old hotel that Hilton bought and slapped their brand on it. It needs to be completely redone. Carpets are filthy and AC unbelievably loud. Will never stay here again!!!

When we arrived bathrooom was not cleaned and smelled like urine...Called front desk said they would get someone to clean it and give us a 50% room discount. Had to call three times to get someone to clean the room. It was eventually cleaned. Pool was freezing cold and hoy tub did not work. Was told it would be repaired...Never was repaired. Called expedia twice as directed to get refund...Hotel now declined to refund us..Very poor management at this Hotel...will never stay here again...very dissapointed

Upon walking into the hotel, I noticed the carpet was covered in trash. Seemed a little off-putting, but surely the rooms will be clean. Then, hotel room absolutely reeked of mildew/mold. I can understand it not smelling like fresh roses, but mildew seems like a safety hazard to inhale. It made me seriously question the cleanliness of the room. How had someone deemed it clean and acceptable? The manager apologized and offered us a smaller room that was available. It still didn’t smell great, but we decided to give it a shot. I wish I hadn’t. They offer one sheet on the beds. It felt like sleeping with a napkin on my body. We asked for additional blankets and received blankets made of actual gauze, so that did not help. It took an act of congress to turn the shower faucet on. The nob was so hard to turn, and once you succeeded, hardly any water came out! The sweet housekeeping staff apologized and said they were seriously understaffed. Which I appreciated, but also, so the rooms hadn’t been cleaned?! They did make 1 out of 2 beds for us. Ha. Weird. I’ve never stayed somewhere so filthy in my life. Spilled milk in the hallways. Trash everywhere. Is the vacuum broken? The place has potential to be decent, but customers expect a clean room at the very least. This was not my experience, or the experience of several other guests in the hotel.

Front desk staff was very nice and lobby had a great offering of food and snacks for sale. Room was very large and comfortable and clean. Only issue was the hot tub was broken. There are also a lot of restaurants close by and it's very convenient to the airport.

Most hotels that offer breakfast have a hot breakfast of eggs plus a meat and have a waffle maker. The hard boiled eggs offered did not peel out of the shells and most people myself threw them in the trash out of pure frustration. Orange juice very watered down. In terms of the room the door was so stiff that my wife had trouble opening it and most senior citizens probably couldn’t open it. Also I did not appreciate getting scalded with hot water in the shower when the pressure suddenly dropped in about 1/2 leaving just very hot water. Also couldn’t figure out why a bath mat was not provided in the bathroom. It’s rather dangerous to step out on a potentially slippery floor not to mention the risk of fungal infections. I have never not seen a bath mat in a hotel room and I have stayed at hundreds.

The place was just NOISY. We could hear from our 3rd floor room the front door opening/closing all night. Just a noisy buildy in a noisy location.

The actual room itself was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice and soft. The continental breakfast was “sufficient”. Nothing was warm unless you made some toast. No waffles or scrambled eggs. No bacon or sausage. The rooms did not have a coffee maker which was a bummer. Not everyone wants to go to the lobby first thing in the morning to get a cup of coffee.

Instead of helping us find a solution, the hotel left us scrambling near midnight to find our own accommodation. To make matters worse, they had promised to cover the cost of the alternative hotel, yet later denied ever saying so, going back and forth rather than taking responsibility. This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially from a place that claims to value its guests. A simple courtesy message or proactive arrangement would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, based on how this situation was handled, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting reliability or accountability.

Shower handle was broke, we were on 1st floor and people were coming through the emergency exit at all hours of the night. There was also glitter on the floor like they didn’t vacuum.

Amazing frontend staff. They gave us a 6 am courtesy call for the airport shuttle without having to ask. They just knew How great is that?! And the bedrooms are large and well appointed.

Staff were courteous; very helpful with requests. The work out room treadmill rocks so is unusable. The main reason I booked a stay at the Hilton was to have access to a treadmill; it was a disappointment.

Nice hotel with clean rooms, courteous staff a decent free breakfast with a fair amount of choices. Overall, I was very happy staying here. I did have a couple of small issues with getting housekeeping to get garbage out of the room. They don’t clean every day. They’re supposed to clean every other day, but I don’t think it quite happened that way. But ultimately everything was good and I would stay there again.

Great customer service! The wonderful young woman at the front desk (i think her name was Ren) was delightful to work with..we had a late night flight so arrived very late. She was extremely courteous and friendly. She recommended an open restaurant for us to get a late dinner at and verified it was still open.

We had a great stay. The staff were super nice and our room was clean and bigger than expected.

The only things I didn’t like was that there was no hot water in the evening when I washed my face and no hot water for my shower in the morning. The wall between my bathroom and the room next to me was so thin I could hear a man’s voice. It almost felt like he was in the same room as me. There was a clump of hair on the floor in the bathroom that wasn’t the same color as my hair.

This visit I noted the bathroom was not up to the cleanliness standard I had appreciated before so I could not give it a top rating as previously done. Then, the breakfast bar was a couple notches below typical, with no warm food options at all. At this point, we just packed our things and graciously checked out. We aren’t the type to make a scene, but it was so disappointing and disruptive.

The breakfast was decent, lots of parking. We enjoyed the nice pool and spa. All good. Only 7 minutes away from the Mesa airport, which was important to us.

since I had an electric rental car and an early flight. The room looked updated at first glance but felt like a quick makeover of an old, run-down hotel. The AC had to run constantly just to feel slightly cool, and the room had a dank, damp smell that seemed tied to the overworked unit. The laminate floors were so dirty they turned a towel black when we wiped up a spill. The “continental breakfast” was misleading too — no hot items like eggs or bacon as advertised, just bagels, muffins, cereal, and yogurt. The front desk staff was polite and professional, but everything else fell short of Hilton’s standards. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Asked to have the trash emptied and towels replaced. Only emptied the trash in the trash can. Did not take the trash by the trash can. Brought new towels, did not take the used towels on the floor. Pool was dirty on Sunday due to storm. Did not have anyone clean it.

Location was clean, quiet and felt safe. Located across the street from a Boba Tea place and several grab and go type places to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly all the way from the front desk to housekeeping. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable with super soft sheets. The only cons were the towels we had in our bathroom were stained - they were obviously clean - but had previous stains that couldn't be removed which took away from the experience a little. The biggest draw back was the breakfast, which is really just a few grab and go items. If you are looking for a gluten free option beyond a hard boiled egg or fruit, this is not the place. We would stay here again. I feel the cons are minor hiccups.

The staff was nice and supportive in many ways, the situation with the TV is kind of rough due to not working correctly and the tenant has to pay for literally everything and still you have zero TV access. Also there was a hidden $100.00 deposit that was not mentioned anywhere and there was not receipt for the transaction and HAD to be cash, I am still waiting to see if it gets returned, Still nothing after a week so lets see " fingers crossed " If the clerks are charging this fee and not returning it Hmm. sees like a money maker to me but hey I am looking from the outside in. lol

Nice place to stay!

Location was ideal for my business trip. Close to the freeway, but far enough that you cannot get any noise from it. Places to eat are everywhere. Across the street, and even more locations just less than a mile away. Probably more than 50 types of food, so you have a lot of choices. Hotel was very clean. Never stayed at a Spark before, but i definitely would again if that’s an option where i’m at.

I can't imagine a better place to stay if you are flying out of Mesa Gateway. The hotel is kept up to date, is clean, all of the employees are helpful and friendly and it has very nice amenities. Was just 3 miles up the street from the airport and it was a super easy drive to get to the airport to return my rental car. Would stay there again if I need a place in the Mesa area.

The courteous and kindly staff, even in the midst of a computer outage was so commendable. We will recommend this property and definitely stay here again. Thanks Hilton!

I had to leave at 1am because I couldn’t sleep it was so hot. The swamp cooler was down to 60! I’ve never had to put anything that low. I tried to talk to front and of course “no refunds because booked through 3rd party” even though I’m leaving in the middle of the night because it was so hot! So furious. Will not be booking through Expedia again. Just going to call hotel from now on

Perfectly between the two places we spent our time at. It was clean, front desk staff that checked us in were super sweet and the bagel bar was just fine for a quick bite before going on to what our day held in store.

This place is completely renovated and opened about three months ago. A real bargain at less than $100 a night.

For a 1 night stay it was fine. It’s on a busy road with a lot of noise from traffic. We had no hot water and the ac unit was having issues.

Our stay was atrocious. The bed was slightly misaligned with the box spring. The shower got me drenched with water, i can go on and on. LOL I'm just kidding. Our stay was FANTASTIC!!!!! Don't listen to these other reviews left by karens and kevins. The Spark was great, Sophie was so helpful during our check in, my dad needed a toothbrush because he forgot his and she had one on deck (it was packaged and sealed don't worry karens). The beds were super comfortable; the room was clean and extremely spacious. Shower was on point. I WOULD ABSOLUTLEY stay here again. Well done Spark and staff. You earned a customer for life.

We booked a one night and wished we had stayed several. Location was quiet, well lit, it felt safe. Pool looked amazing regretably we only stayed for one night.

Very nice place ....the only thing i was not super impressed with was the breakfast selection.

There for 5 days and never got the beds or room cleaned. Did clean the bathroom once after several complaints and left us with two towels only. There was no shampoo or shower gel when we arrived and was not replaced for 3 days. Tag on bathroom mirror even said they clean the room including the beds after 2 days, it never happened. So better take a shower every time you leave the room otherwise you are sleeping on sweaty sheets.

Overall stay was good. Minors adjustments beds felt way too soft or worn. And the shower faucet, was hard to turn on.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights while in town for a funeral. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating during a difficult time. I really appreciated being able to stay in the same room each night, which made things much easier. The pool was nice, and the breakfast was decent – the bagels and boiled eggs hit the spot. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay that fit the whole family

I was given a room that was not cleaned. I walked in the room smelled very awful, the bathroom was a mess with dirty towels on the floor, there were beer bottles, trash, and wine glasses on the counter and little table. My name was in the tv screen so i know the room was assigned to me. I went down stairs to speak to the clerk, she offered me free soda for the inconvenience and assigned me to a different room. Another thing, all side doors automatically lock after a certain hour, the only entrance into the building is the main entrance. So if you have a room on the back end, you have to walk all the way around to get into your room. Good luck with parking closer to the main entrance, everyone's parked up front because of the locked side entrances.
