Nice staff but the property was awful. Fridge wasn't working when we arrived. I went to call the desk but the phone didn't even have a cord to be plugged in. I went to the desk and was told that maintenance went home and there was not another suite to move me to. I ended up unplugging the Fridge for several hours to let the layer of ice in the freezer melt. It worked once I plugged it back in but I lost a bunch of frozen food because of it. Then, 2 days later a front desk agent asks me if the fridge ever got fixed. Seriously? No it didn't. I did it myself. Then the room was old and worn. Weird red stains on the shower wall. Stained bedding. The table leg was being held on by a bracket that was clearly added after it broke. Highly unsafe. I'll be seeking a refund.

SUMMARY - The price I paid was VERY reasonable, so maybe I should have given it 5 stars, but it still seemed a bit disappointing as we were getting ready to leave in the morning. I definitely recommend this hotel for a good night's sleep...just don't expect a lavish breakfast.

Friendly staff and easy check in. Room was clean but the ceiling showed evidence of a poor repair job and the screen door of my ground floor room was worn out, as were many other window screens around the property. No translucent curtains, only blackout ones.

I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel was so nice and so well priced. I learned that it is rated #1 hotel in safety for hotels in Phoenix. Apparently, next door is the swat training facility. I found the staff very friendly and the interior very nice. This hotel will be at the top of my list.

Filthy rooms. There was dirt and dust everywhere. Our door had a gap so bad you could see in. Our family had a room that had a turd under their bed. The pool was green. Everything was run down and smelly.

I was surprised how quiet this hotel was! It was very convenient having 2 joining rooms plus having a fridge and microwave in the room. It's a very nice place to stay.

The water in the room also smelled terrible. This was a VIP stay through orbitz and I’m truly was disappointed with orbitz and rating.

Terrible service, toilet clogged so they calim their only maintenance service they have has emergency and took 36 hours for them to figure this out!!!!!!!!! rooms smelled and definitely the worst customer service. Dean has not been treated by people good before and neither has any idea how to deal with people! He definitely needs so many classes in customer service. I wish I can give zero star!!! Breakfast is a joke!! No workers there, no greetings, and it seems they are doing you a favour! Whenever we asked for something, their answers always to find an excuse about it. I will make sure to review this place in every possible platform so they can learn to do better!

This hotel was amazing in terms of staff helpfulness. Our son-in-law was had 3 surgeries in 4 days so we didn't know how long we would be there. Dean was just great in accommodating our needs. We can't say enough good things about him. Additionally the rooms were nice and clean. It was very convenient to Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa. The rates were much better than the big name hotels near there. We rented 4 rooms.

The front desk lady was kind and it wasn't dirty… just old, raggedy, and worn-out!!! Seriously needs updating, so not very welcoming. NO - I wouldn’t stay again… even at $80. BUT if you’re just looking for a place to get some shut-eye, the beds were comfy.

The property was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was fair; I would have wanted more items, but nonetheless filling and served its purpose. There was free parking and located near numerous eateries.

This hotel is amazing! from check in at the front desk to the morning breakfasts. We really did like this facility. The breakfast was always hot, ready and full. The young man in charge of it during the week was super engaged in keeping it cleaned up and fresh. Laundry facilities were clean and worked great. Noise level was well maintained. Pool area was nice. Plenty of seating and clean Highly recommend this hotel. We were there for 4 days and will use again if in the area

The facilities itself is a little older and down the street of more of an industrial area. But besides that, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a poolside room and took advantage of the hot tub and the fitness center that’s right in the pool/hot tub area both days. We didn’t use the pool but saw a few that did. It has a simple breakfast. We ended up eating yogurt and granola both days with juice. It also had what looked like egg white patties, sausage, some bread items, yogurt and cereals. The breakfast area was kept very clean. There’s coffee and I believe hot chocolate & tea available in the lobby at all times. We stayed Thursday through Saturday. Friday evening the parking lot was completely full. It was a great price. I have no complaints at all and would recommend staying there if you need a spot while you’re in the Mesa/Gilbert areas

Room was clean and big, beds were comfortable. It had a bathtub, unlike other hotels. Continental breakfast was really outstanding with a lot of choices for picky eaters.

I just wanted to give a suggestion about the breakfast. If you guys could have some fruit available. We were there because my son had a soccer showcase and i wanted to give him a fruit before he started playing instead of a solid food. But everything else was good.

I have to go to the cancer center once a month and I live far away so I stay in a hotel sometimes to save the drive. I chose this hotel for the price. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. It’s not a newer hotel but it wasn’t in disrepair that I could see. I slept well, didnt hear much noise. I loved that it’s near a Circle K for coffee and Fry’s for groceries. I tried the Waffle House next door and it was fantastic. Overall, a good stay.

Parking could also be challenging at night, as the lot filled up quickly, and the travel trailer parked in the back made parking less convenient. The gym didn't open till 6 AM which isn't very helpful for business people that need to be out of the hotel and at work by eight. Not sure why the gym couldn't open earlier. Windows sills were covered in dirt and flies were making it though small holes in the sill. Room smelt like Chemical cleaner and pet urine. Check in took forever. Staff was friendly but they seemed to not want to be there and just over it. Which I get to an extent. Property was relatively clean. Breakfast was minimal but did provide the basics. No information was left to call the front desk for like extra towels and stuff so I called the number provided online. When mentioning not having a room service number I got a snappy response of “well that’s cause we don’t have room service” I just wanted to ask if I can get more shower towels and made the effort to walk to the front to grab em. Overall it was an eh experience.

Staff was pleasant and efficient. The hotel is old but in general, very clean. My room had a lamp that had seen better days; tippy with a soiled and torn shade. Also a hole the size of my fist in the window screen. There was a bare bone breakfast buffet that was exactly the same food every day; fried eggs, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes, white bagels and a few apples. The biggest dissatisfaction was that the pool was not heated because they were “waiting for a part”. According to guests who were there for 6 weeks last year, the pool was not heated last year either. The water was too cold to swim in.

I must commend Kaitlyn at the front desk-- i needed a find another room as my friend and i just couldn't stay in the same room... Kaitlyn was great-found that separate room so that we still could enjoy an awesome vacation... Hotel always clean --loved the am breakfast selection. I thought the hot tub temperature was a little too warm --just my opinion.. great times over all!!!!!!

The overall property was clean and tidy, but rundown. While the common areas were refreshed, the rooms are older and rundown. Our shower curtain had stains and the lamps were in need of new shades. Lights have standard plugs and you cannot charge your devices via usb ports only. There was a sign for tipping housekeeping via QR code, but no tip was warrented. While there is signage for green water conservation (as with most hotels), we didnt get our garbages serviced over the 4 days/three nights, nor our beds made, or toilet paper refilled. I didnt expect mints in our pillows, but every other "green" hotel at least collects room trash. Lastly, I was reassured the property was safe after inquiring about out hotel door beimg open and the door frame looking bent. I did see a security guard walking the well lit parking lot, which reassured me a bit. Overall it's not always sunny at Days Inn Mesa.

The staff was excellent, very kind & helpful. The room was clean and beds comfy, but if we didn't leave the bathroom fan on all the time there was a musty smell in the room. Took off one star because before booking we called to ensure the outdoor pool was heated (they confirmed it was) but when we arrived we were told the pool wasn't heated "right now". The whole reason we booked here was for the heated pool as we were traveling with a young one.

This place was decent, but not a 9.0 like I saw it rated as. To steal an old slogan from another chain, it was a "clean, comfortable room." Pool and hot tub were modest, but clean. Hot tub was also warm - which in February is a nice find. Breakfast was well-above expectations too. I would stay again. Overall a great value.

Improve with housekeeping. There is a smell in 218 in bathroom, like old musky smell. I had to use my car spray. The most important that needs improvement is the breakfast. We were just there overnight as a quick stop before heading out of Phoenix, but the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the beds were comfy (and I'm picky about beds!). Left too early to try the breakfast, but other reviews say it's fantastic! They also have a pretty cool ice cream vending machine that only takes cash, so bring a few 1's if you want to try it out!

I reported the issue immediately to the front desk, asking if they may have been accidentally scooped up with the towels. After considerable discussion, the manager called after checkout and credited us $50. While I did pay approximately that amount, it was a deeply discounted value compared to the same boots now selling for $179. Clearly, someone else recognized they were very nice boots. I am extremely disappointed in this experience and am very glad we took our computer and headphones with us every time we left the room. This experience has completely changed my expectations for future travel as I no longer trust my belongings to be safe in my absence. Certainly not at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Mesa Arizona.

Room was dirty had blood spots and smelled like burning plastic. They moved us to a new room which was better. Second room was fine for the price. First room was unacceptable at any price.

We didn’t try the breakfast tbh. We just went to Waffle House or families. Clean room. We kept the tag on our door and it was never entered. Thank you for that. Staff very professional and easy to talk to.

Room was acceptable in terms of cleanliness, but the furniture is looking old. The armchair in the room was stained and smelly. They served the same breakfast all six days we were there which got old. Staff was nice, and overall it was fine.

Wonderful stay! Cleanest and best managed hotel I have stayed in (and I’ve stayed in quite a few). Hot breakfast buffet in morning (the same thing every day - sausage patties, eggs, oatmeal and pancakes) and this only got repetitive because we stayed for a week. But the food was well prepared and service was very good. Beds were comfortable and hotel was fairly quiet. Convenient location. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff and very clean rooms. The area is pretty quiet. I loved how they had coffee/tea and water available in the lobby 24hrs.

We were in town for a family wedding and wanted something convenient, clean and safe. It was all of this plus the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would stay there again and probably will the next time we come back.

My flight was cancelled due to the Government shut down and because it was cancelled too late they would not cancel/refund my room or move it to the later date I was able to book. I will not book with them again!

The room Works absolutely spotless. It smelled good in the room the beds were super comfortable. It was quiet. As quiet as can be in a hotel. The staff was super cordial and friendly. Everything was as it was described. And I would definitely recommend this hotel in particular to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff and my hat is off to you all. Oh and the breakfast was just right. Definitely hit the spot.

From the moment I checked in to checked out...the staff were awesome. Welcoming and know the area to recommend food. I checked in a few minutes before the pool closed...so she let me take a quick swim before closing it. THAT is customer service. Thank you!

The room was good the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were small but I usually bring my own anyway. The pool was nice and the spa tub was great. I didn’t think I had asked for an accessible room but that’s what we got. No closet, just a hang bar and shelf. Just walk-in shower with a chair.

We had a patio to go out to the pool but our screen door to it was bent and didn't shut properly. It looks like it was bent from someone trying to pry it open. It looked like a few of them were like that on the bottom floor. Other than that, room was fine.

Clean large room and professional staff!

The hotel appeared well kept and recently updated. The rooms were spacious and provided plenty of amenities. The breakfast was good, and kept hot and constantly restocked. Parking was easy with plenty of spots. It was easy to walk to Walmart, Waffle House, Del Taco, etc.

Staff has no consideration or heart towards family emergencies. Our two month old had surgery and we were unable to complete our stay and were unable to get any money refunded. It would have been nice if they would’ve elaborated more about how to go about cancellation without any issues. We literally checked in, freshened up, and continued our stay at the hospital the remaining days. Yet we had to pay for the whole three days. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL.

The parking area was fine and clean, easy to get in to and out of and plenty of extra parking. The hot tub was hot and nice to dip my feet into but probably could have been a little cleaner.

The young woman who works the day shift and checked me in on 10/1 had the best customer service. She was amazingly sweet and accommodating. I was hesitant to stay at a Days Inn but for the price point, location, and amazing service, it was a great experience. Will be back.

Terrible from the start. I usually don’t leave reviews but I totally got played by this motel. I booked a non-smoking room on Expedia. When I landed in Dallas and showed up, I was told there were no more non-smoking rooms available. I didn’t understand why I was even able to reserve a non-smoking room if they weren’t going to have one. This was not communicated to me upon making the reservation, but it was short notice and I had no other option but to take a smoking room. It was the dirtiest motel room I have ever set foot in. The shower was dirty, the pillows didn’t look like they’d been washed (they were definitely stained with something), and I saw a couple bugs in the room as well. Not to mention the horrid smell from this smoking room that I wasn’t even supposed to be in. Spend a little extra money on a better place to stay so you’re not stuck having to settle at the last minute.

Absolutely best hotel. I’ve stayed in in a while. The rooms were clean and smelt good the hallways weren’t dirty. The elevator didn’t stink. The breakfast food spread was constantly kept fresh and the area kept clean. I also didn’t see a ton of bugs running around the property, which was lovely. We’ll definitely be staying here again when I’m back.

The customer service and room was great. They even had a Pack and play for my baby. This hotel provided everything I needed.

It was a great experience. Check in was easy. Clean and an excellent breakfast provided. Location was exactly where I needed to be. It was quiet and a lot of amenities close by. I will stay again when I'm back in town.

So they got them calmed down mostly. The customer service is above reproach here and the beds while not the fluffiest pillow top did not make this chronic pain sufferer miss a wink! I will be returning at least one more time maybe two depending on how the surgery goes. My only suggestion (and I know staff has no control over this) 1. no more gray. gray is a depressing jail cell color. And 2. Ditch Cox! It went out at about 6:30 The night I got there and maintenence had already gone home so It didn't get fixed until around 10:00 the next day. It continued to fade in and out for the rest of the time. I'll bring my laptop again (which ai normally do anyway just in case) My takeaway - I'll be back because of the customer service and the physical comfort of the room. And Shannon deserves a raise!

Great property! Clean, spacious & free parking

Breakfast was good with plenty of space in the seating area. Quiet but busy hotel in the middle of everything. Only 1 elevator so you may have to walk a little way to your room and maybe from the parking lot as everyone uses the main door. Pool is sufficient to have some fun. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom, towels and beds were clean. The sink was in the room with the toilet and shower, which made it a little inconvenient for families. But good water pressure and temperature. Staff was nice. No problems with wifi.

This Days Inn is quite new and in good shape. Check-in takes a little longer than average as they get busy taking a 100 deposit off your credit card in addition to the $79 or whatever per night. The breakfast is clean and fairly basic. The beds are comfy. I’d go back for the price and cleanliness.

I’m not normally a Days Inn customer but I was pleasantly surprised by this property when I had to stay there. Rooms were very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The property is well maintained and although I didn’t get to use the pool, if time had allowed, I would have! The area around the hotel is getting old and wasn’t my fave, but I didn’t feel unsafe.

Hotel was nice.and had good amenities for the price. They offer a decent free breakfast with hot items. They have a Starbucks in the same parking lot for those who are fans or need a mid-day caffeine kick. Room had a fidge, microwave and safe, as well as a lot of free tv channels. In our room there were just a few areas that could have been cleaned a little better, but accommodations were still very nice and not unsatisfactory. Towards the late night parking does fill up but we were still able to find parking towards the back of the property. Parking lot was well lit.

Cleanliness

I couldn’t reach anyone on the phone after 3 hours of trying, to talk about upgrading our room. Being poolside was nice, but our room got the full blast of the evening phoenix sun which made our room too warm for a good night sleep. The beds seem like doubles instead of queens and they were loud. I could hear every time my husband or son moved around. I think it was the sheets, or maybe plastic on the mattresses. Breakfast was ok. Everything else was ok. Price was great so I can’t complain too much.
