Very quick and seamless self check-in assisted by staff. Techy controls for room but easy to use.

Very clean

Always clean and nice ambiance throughout the hotel! We couldn’t extend our stay for the same rate which was ridiculous! It’s the only thing that bothered us!
-
Rooms should be advertised as ship cabin space rooms though. If someone is claustrophobic this is NOT the place for them.

The ambience and high tech system! The hotel is super nice and clean! Maybe the bathroom could be a little more roomier…

Very good

The body wash/shampoo and conditioner were not great, otherwise I would have given 5 stars

The bed was comfy and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated that the food and bar were available late. We attended a concert and was hungry when we returned. The info on the temperature control wasn't explained and the towels were very stiff. Also we found it annoying that there weren't any glasses or cups. The refrigerator was not cold and I couldn't figure out how to turn it up. We didn't have time to inquire about it.

Be careful and note the square footage. These rooms are tiny and cramped. Very trendy and modern lobby and facilities, all clean and new. My main complaint is the south facing room was very hot and the AC struggled to cool the room down even with the thermostat turned down to 65°. It felt like 80° most of the time I was there. Next, there was a slight stagnant water smell the whole time. It could be because of the proximity to the bay or because the shower and toilet sits right next to the bed. Lastly, there were no wash clothes supplied. Had to use a large hand towel to shower with.

Staff was fine, clean and with a comfortable bed. BUT The problem was not with my stay, but the whole concept of the hotel. This is meant to be a cute, urban, super-tiny and spartan hotel for dense urban environments (right...?) at a relatively reasonable price. I always thought it was a 'ripoff' anyway but sucked it up for the good location in other cities....But the hotel is in a suburban office park, so the whole "pay a ton for a tiny room in a good location'" theme is out of whack. It just ended up feeling out of place and lonely in that setting. Why wouldn't I just get a Hampden Inn or something with a Styrofoam plate and waffle for breakfast for half as much? It is just a sullying of the M brand and what I thought it meant. Feels like a PE or investor decision to 'expand' without protecting your brand. take note. I am probably not the only customer you lose for this reason, whether they articulate like this or not.
