Typical motel. Well organised. The road by can be a bit noisy in rush hours, but it’s not so bad. 👍

Great location. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Very clean. With a great central location comes noise factor. Near the Caltrain so you hear their horn from time to time and busy traffic from the El Camino.

The toliet made an awful noise when flushed.. and after a shower the floor was wet even though the curtain was drawn.. so we needed more towels the thermostat did not work.. and we didnt have wifi til the next day..

Property is near Stanford Stadium, mall and downtown. They have decent breakfast and even free parking. They also clean the rooms everyday. Staff were accommodating and friendly. They don’t provide much towels. You have to ask everytime. Sometimes there’s no wifi connection.

Check in was great. Room was nice and close to where we needed to be. The breakfast was good, but closes so early (8:30!) and the person working breakfast was not nice at all.

Nice little hotel with super friendly staff and very clean rooms. Coffee machine in lobby makes lots of different kinds of drinks and they are quite good. Free breakfast is nice as well. Parking was a bit weird as it's under the building and there's not much egress from the street but it's nice that the parking is off street and included in the cost of the room

The location is good. Right next to the Stanford Shopping Mall and just a short walk to Palo Alto downtown. The rooms are clean but rather small. The beds are comfortable. The hotel could definitely use a bit of modernization for the money one has to pay. The breakfast is laughable, it's just impossible to eat.

There is nothing positive to say. It is a motel - priced as a fancy hotel $426/ night. The construction of the rooms is so poor - I heard the upstairs and nextdoor guest the entire time (especially at night when I needed to sleep). Horrible quality, loud noise from the street, no insulation, and overall - a motel on a busy street, with no attempt to renovate. Terrible hotel.

They do offer free breakfast in the am which isn’t bad. They have hot items including eggs, potatoes, bacon & sausage. Waffle machine. A few drink options. Not bad at all. My bed was just softer than I like so I didn’t sleep as well. Overall decent place to stay.

Good location. Clean room and comfortable bed. Good shower. Looks better in pictures. Lobby coffee machine was broken entire stay. Breakfast ends too early 8:30am so missed it first day. Room was noisy. Could hear room next door and upstairs. Earplugs provided. Check in staff were great.

Loved the friendly housekeepers, front-desk personnel and the maintenance guys very much. Breakfast should improve with more variety and menu changes every week or so. For long term guests like us it was basically the same ole breakfast daily?? otherwise it was excellent. Thank you! Basically nothing.

Friendly and efficient staff Probably not the fault of the hotel, but It’s not the quietest, it’s adjacent from a railroad crossing (train horn sounding every hour into the late evening hours) located on a busy highway (vehicular traffic until the late evening) and super thin walls … you could hear footsteps, running water, talking/kids and tvs throughout Should’ve guessed when I saw the provided earplugs upon check-in …

This hotel was a perfect distance from Stanford Hospital. It was under construction and we had to use the elevator which was a little unsettling but worked out fine. We needed to do laundry since we had been there for a couple days due to a family member at Stanford and the machine only took quarters and the front desk attendant only had a few and no change to break anything more than a dollar.

Our stay included a nice breakfast (eggs and bacon plus other choices). To me a good breakfast includes eggs. Friendly staff. A wonderful coffee and espresso maker available 24/7. The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable. The only issues were an automatic bathroom light that stayed lit even after I got into bed and strange noises early in the morning (metal cart moving).

Staff was great, room was very clean and updated. But....the noise from the street/vehicles was far beyond what I would expect. I guess I should have known when I found foam earplugs provided in the room upon arrival.

The hotel is fine, it’s a standard Best Western. It’s a shame it looks out on El Camino and not on some of the parks or campus around. The old-style elevator is cute, and our kids loved the waffle breakfast; the staff were very helpful with them using the waffle maker. Oh yeah, the coffee is terrible, but Bluebottle is a short walk away in the mall.

I have never had an issue staying a hotel but over the last week was horrible. Caring for my sick grandmother at Stanford driving back and forth I would hope to get some quiet, not the case people stomping above me, people running passed my door, and yelling all through the late hrs. When I was asked how my stay was I told them horrible and the front just stared at me and just asked me if I wanted my receipt didn’t ask what happened or anything. The only person that did her job very well was the lady at the breakfast counter she was apologetic when the simplest things didn’t go right and went to fix it right away. I unfortunately don’t recommend this felicity

The location is perfect, walkable to Stanford University, and Stanford Shopping Center (Mall), including the breakfast, pretty typical continental style. You can have your dinner via something like ubber eat and other apps, they just deliver to your room, or you can walk to Shopping center, which just less 10 mins, there are a lots to choose and really nice with reasonable price. I took one star of from Service because one day there is no drink water for me especially I need hot water for medicine, and when I came back to check, there were still no one to fill up the water tank. I paid almost $230/night but such a small inconvenience could ruin your feelings. Overall, its location is what I chose for.

For the $400 price it was terrible. It was noisy, breakfast was poor

The staff was welcoming and the rooms were clean. The noise was an issue with windows open but less when closed. The primary reason I would not stay again is the uncomfortable beds. Mattress is too hard, linens stiff and scratchy, pillows flat and hard. Sadly, beds are a dealbreaker.

I liked it. I will stay again.

On the plus side, staff was cordial & breakfast was fairly good.

The other concern is that the property is not very visible from the street, and is easy to miss. The parking is underground, and some of the spaces will not work for tall vehicles. On the other hand, the hotel is very conveniently located. It is very close to Stanford Medical Center, shopping centers, and restaurants. I am a person with mobility issues, so I am not sure if I would stay here again. If you don't have mobility issues, then this is a great place to stay!

We only stayed one night but it was a wonderful and restful stay, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we will be booking another stay soon to visit family again!

Cheaply built with noise emanating from the ceiling as a couple had sex on the bed and walked above me. Very noisy and while the room was fine and bathroom clean- very decent little breakfast with Pancakes and waffles with mini omelets and bacon home fries that is the plus. No area in lobby to relax kind of depressing check in. Work $79-109 etc but not much more

I really enjoyed this Best Westin. It was small and quaint but had everything I needed. It was clean, quiet and centrally located. The free break that they served was perfect.

Nice place to stay . . I will stay again when I visit the area! Everyone was pleasant, even other guests!

Very convenient location near Stanford Medical Center

Nice rooms but a noisy street. Nice staff but $45 seems unfair to charge for early check-in to an empty room!

Quiet, clean, close to hospital

One night stay, appears to be older motel, but nicely updated. It has character. We enjoyed the small patios that are in front of the rooms and gave a nice area to visit and weather was perfect. Rooms are nice, no frills, but bed was comfortable. Room was quite, until morning. Definitely not able to sleep in due to everybody rolling there bags by your room on outdoor cement walk and kids running by. My only real complaint was parking, which is under the hotel and very compact. We have a full size SUV and many spots are only 6 ft clearance that we were unable to use. Others are 7 ft. Spots are tight and run the risk of somebody dinging your car with their door. Luckily we did not drive my full size truck as it would have not fit. Nice location, close to Stanford medical, multiple restaurants and shopping. All in all nice stay and would stay again. Loved the old school feel of motel.

Convenient well maintained with a fair price.

As others have stated, this is not the cleanest place. There were hairs in the sheets and on the bathroom counter. The washer is not working, when asked they said it is being fixed. Staying for three days and it was not repaired, they should not say they have a washer.

The front desk gal was experiencing her first day on the job and was really not knowledgeable on much.

Close to the Caltrain. Clean. Good breakfast. A little road noise but generally quiet.
