    Room was fine not any different than other hotels ( coffee pot needs attention). but it’s the friendly and professional attitude of the entire staff, from the front desk to valets and breakfast staff that we enjoyed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Location in proximity to activities and local sights is perfect. Thank you

    The staff was really friendly and very accommodating. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, they were just gonna clean it but we said that was not acceptable so they moved us to another room. I’m afraid that this is a common problem seeing how they were gonna “fix” it.

    This hotel is in the perfect location for all the activities you want to enjoy. With the Trolley, and Court St. Park at your front door, and Tom Lee Park to the rear, you won't need a car. Beale Street is on the Trolley line, as is the Orpheus Theater. Well worth checking out if you love convenience. Five Stars.

    Reggie at the front desk was so helpful! We had an issue with the room lock and he came straight up and checked it out himself. When it was not able to be fixed, the supervisor and him switched us to another room even though we arrived late at night. Exceptional customer service!! Always greeted with a warm welcome and smile. Wasn’t excited about having to use the valet, but each driver was great and so friendly, it was no trouble at all. Would definitely stay again.

    It's a very nice hotel for that area. The rooms are a nice size. One thing I noticed in my room, the top of the windows and some corners need to be dusted and wiped. And the TV in my room was kind of broke off the wall. I was nervous to touch it. The breakfast was very good. Nice options. I respect it but I didn't need housekeeping to keep knocking on my door same time every morning, even when I put the sign on the door. And they knock and try to come in. So keep the latch on the door.

    There was an issue with flushing the toilet. You had to giggle the handle in order to stop it from running. Toilets are extremely low and need to be replaced with a higher level. There just seemed to be a lot activity happening that made it aappear unsafe outside of the hotel entrance

    I wouldn’t stay here ever again. The room was run down and not conducive to a pleasant stay in Memphis. The parking is expensive and we had to ask for new towels after our first nights stay. There was no cleanup of our room after the first night which was total unexpected.

    First the staff is wonderful! But check in was a nightmare. They only have valet parking and only one poor guy working it when we checked in. It was so busy that there were cars parked everywhere, blocking the entrance. It took 45 minutes for us to figure out how to get into the hotel, and how to get our luggage from down the block into the hotel. The hotel contacts out the valet company so it’s not owned by the hotel, but this should definitely have been run better. It took a long time to get the keys to our car when we needed to go somewhere. They need a better parking situation. Also, the hot tub wasn’t working, which was the main reason I booked this place, we were looking forward to the hot tub but it was ice cold and they never got it working while we were there. Breakfast is pretty good. Our suite was spacious and clean. It is walking distance to Beale Street and there is a nice courtyard off the back.

    The staff was amazing! Incredibly friendly and observant to the needs of the guest. The breakfast was amazing! The property was very clean. The biggest problem I had was with some of the amenities. First of all, nowhere in the any of the information about the hotel did it speak of mandatory valet service. Paying it was some of the problem, but not knowing about it before hand was deceitful and dishonest. My trip was planned out and that is information that is very useful. The other problem was that 3 of my 5 days there the pool was not open and the hot tub was never working. These things shouldve be working.

The hot tub didnt work, and they were rude and tried saying it works but is a whirlpool not a hot tub so it isnt supposed to be hot. Most staff was rude

    I stayed in a handicap room. Having extra rolls of toilet paper in the room. Larger trash cans I had baby dippers. A hook for your towels or a robe especially near the roll in shower for handicap persons. also the handicap button to open the door to the room did not work. I had to call someone to turn off the lights on the edge off the bed. Make sure all lamps have bulbs that work. The room was very dark in places.

    Staff member stated he was the ONLY employee working in hotel and could not send anyone to fix the AC. Finally, after 14 elevator trips and 3 times walking to front desk for new keys was very irritating. We had been driving for 10 hours and wanted to rest and to use the hot tub to relax! WAIT, it gets better, the hot tub is Out Of Order! Then WHY advertise that there is a hot tub on site???? That is the ONLY reason we picked this hotel, was for the hot tub! I feel that I should be refunded. Or given a credit for use at our next destination traveling back to Texas after thanksgiving is over. Michelle Bingham

    The room was in ok condition. The beds were comfy and the linens were clean. The grout from the bathroom tiles was coming up, the iron didn't work, and the sofa bed/trundle was outdated. Reggie, the front desk manager, is a gem. He was kind, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast was great, and the kitchen staff were very accommodating. The hotel needs some renovation - at least in the big suite areas. The price was excellent.

    breakfast was okay. room was clean and perfect fit for the 5 of us. parking sucked its all a gimmick to get your money you have to pay the hotel then pay for valet parking when they really don't have a lot or you can really park it yourself the price is outrageous.if you get in at 2 almost 3 am which is technically the next day from traveling they still charge you for the day before and charged for two nights of parking when we only stayed one night. if it's cold out and you smoke and don't want to shoot out side you have to request your car just to sit in it they keep your car key and they park you right there where you could have parked yourself.. well never stay there again the lady lied on how many night we stayed to charge a large deposit is all about money staff was very rude from night shift to the morning shift only nice person was the light skin older lady in the breakfast room

    Location was great for what we were looking for. Walking distance to NCRM, Rock and Soul Museum, and Beale St. Were not made aware of no daily housekeeping nor that the lobby bar is not open. Bathroom definitely needs an overhaul. Front desk staff could benefit from some hospitality training.

    There were some "questionable" stains on the couch. Room had a smoke odor but the staff quickly chnaged my room. No issue with staff at all. The street it is on is absolutely beautiful but is over run my homelessness. (Not the hotels fault) was not aware of the $38 fee to park.

    The property was close to local activities. I came for a relaxing week in the pool and hot tub. The day I arrive it broke. The people in the room next to me fought all night. I had a homeless guy try to get in the door when I left out for food. Needless to say the entire vacation was ruined.

    The front desk was extremely helpful and kind-Reggie was his name and he was amazing. The continental breakfast was varied, they kept it full, and it was a good selection for a family with little ones. The room itself was clean and staff was there daily asking if we needed it cleaned or new towels. The only downside was parking- there was none. We considered the valet but they told us we could park ourselves..there was no where to park. We eventually did use the valet service because we did not want to walk blocks and blocks with our luggage and 3 kids.

    The trip was good from start to finish, check in was quick & the gentleman was nice. The rooms were clean & very cool, as well as the hotel itself (it was 90 degrees while we were there). The location was amazing for everything we wanted to do. Super close to Beale street. The pool was clean & the breakfast was good. Definitely will stay here again!!!! 10/10. There was 1 downside, the tv kept buffering, you honestly couldn’t watch a show without it stopping/freezing

    First date it was alright but the other days were no maid service we asked can we have clean towels she took the towels and never came back at all, we had to call for towels second day she approached the door and asked did we get our towels, we had to call and someone brought them to us. Third date we had to let her know we needed our room clean, when we came back to the room the bed was made up but she didn’t take the dirty towels nor the garbage at all. Parking was nice SpringHill Resort downtown, enjoyed my anniversary with you all!!!!

    The front desk staff, Trell and Reggie are amazing at their job and very friendly: they are the reasons for the stars that I have hotel. The tvs in myself and 2 family rooms did not work properly, constantly buffering. There were some issues with AC in 2/3 of our rooms.     The inside of this hotel was really nice. Everything looks nice and clean. There wasn’t really a lot of dust anywhere. The staff are also really friendly when we first got there the front desk staff was friendly at first, but then also a little annoyed. The room was nice. It was kind of tight in there, but it was nice. The bathroom had a weird smell, and it looked like sweater of blood on the bottom part of the door, but we weren’t sure what it was. It’s a hot tub was not working or functional, which was a little bit disappointment for our kids. The breakfast was amazing and really tasty. There is two days when they ran out of the breakfast batter and it took a minute to bring it out, but they were friendly while doing it

    We were forced to pay for $50 valet parking after we reserved and paid online, this service included having to hand over my keys and my car never moving from the spot we parked in to check in. No access to our belongings in the car over night and 30 minutes wait for the morning valet to locate our keys and bring the car 15 ft from its parking in the check in spot.

    Excellent location, convenient for downtown. Older property adjoined to a secondary property via 3rd floor bridge. Carpets and wallpaper are refreshed, but there is a little musty smell, that the hotel staff do try to mask by aerosol. Staff is very friendly and very good service. Good breakfast. Beds are average comfort. Room was very good size ( 2 queen beds).

    Housekeeping went into the room but only emptied the garbage cans. They didn't make the bed or replenish any needed items. I had to visit the front desk for toilet paper, etc. The worse was there were a few gnats flying around - we think coming from the bathroom sink. The bed was comfortable, employees friendly and the breakfast had good variety but I won't be staying her again.

    The room was clean. The beds were a little hard for my preference. There were people sleeping on the sidewalk across from the entrance. Reggie that checked us in was fabulous. It was easy to use the in and out valet. The breakfast staff answered our questions but seemed inconvenienced by us being there. I was surprised that staff would push by and not acknowledge your existence. I felt like what they were doing was more important than being polite and waiting. Example they would get on the elevator first, squeeze by you without apologizing, listening to music on speaker phone and caught up in conversations with each other ignoring you. The whirlpool was broken. The elevator in the Kress historic building was broke half of our stay. The double queen suite was nice. It was quiet. Not sure if I would stay there again. Would be 5 stars if staff was better and the whirlpool/elevator worked.

    Reggie at the front desk was outstanding! Not only was he friendly and took the time to explain the amenities of the property, he also took time to show us around parts of the property.     I love how the staff workers gave the best customer service support and it was very professional.     All staff of the hotel were kind and exceptionally great at their jobs. Breakfast was great! Plenty of options and the staff kept the food hot and fresh. The internet connection was very slow which made trying to stream disappointing, but that's not a required commodity for our stay. The room size (booked a Studio, Multiple Beds) was larger than expected! Overall, the stay will encourage me to stay at another Marriott.

    The hotel was clean and the stage was friendly, but the room had large stains on the furniture and the bathroom needed to be cleaned. The valet service was not good, my car was illegally parked and I was sent the notice, thankfully I got the ticket resolved. The valet service was also very slow, the valet company works with 3 hotels; I would try to find your own parking if you plan on staying here.

    The staff and service were excellent. Good breakfast with hot options. Room was ok- clean but a little worn. Bathroom was in need of an update. Amenities were great. Didnt realize parting was valet only but valet service a prompt and easy to use. Just $32 to use. Out room was right by the elevators on the 3rd floor so there was more than normal hallway noise at night.

    One of the worse hotels I’ve ever experienced. Parking is 30 for the night, room was dirty, strands of hair on couch/bed, called to let them know shower was not working properly front desk said maintenance would come fix it. They never did. Odd smell during the night on the most uncomfortable hard bed. Smell must’ve came from window where rain was leaking and coming onto the air conditioning. I can’t believe the price I paid for the experience. I love SpringHill in my area but downtown I will never do it again. Wish I could get money back or discount but I will take it as a loss and never go back. Also Expedia says checkout is 12. I was woken up by loud banging saying checkout is 11. I showed her my reservation and she had an attitude.

    It literally was flooding on the inside of the building from the lobby to floors up the fire alarm ring for 3 hours at 2am in the morning I didnt get any sleep nor did they refund my visit or give me any kind of discount .

    Also, the first morning I was there (the day after Christmas) we were woken at 8:30am by aggressive knocking on our door by the maid. I rolled out of bed and told her my family was still asleep and she should come back in a couple hours. Eventually we went out for the day but when we came back around 5pm our room had not been made up. I called front desk about it and they said tough luck, there is nobody here to clean your room. That was it. Maids should not be knocking on your hotel room door at 8:30am. And a front desk should do more to assist when their housekeeping staff fail to do their job. I stayed 2 more nights in Memphis and would have extended at Springhill were it not for these two things. I found another great hotel one block away for 30% less $ per night, that had more pleasant service, an amazing rooftop deck, and didn't try to gouge me on parking.

    The staff was great, and the location was within walking distance of most things. However, the room itself was kind of dirty, and there were issues. It’s listed as a pullout sofa bed, but it was actually some sort of futon with a trundle. When we lifted up the futon cushions, there were crumbs and junk all in the futon. The toilet wouldn’t flush without holding down the handle. My daughter said there was hair in the shower. The remote was just stuffed in a drawer without any sort of indication that it was clean.

    The front desk staff and valet staff were great. The gentleman at the bar was also very nice. But, we ended up going to target to buy cleaning supplies because the bathroom was dirty, the couch had hair and stains, and there were no trash can liners. Housekeeping staff that we came across were either on the phone or gathered having loud conversations... The location was great, we walked just about every where we went.

    This is a great location to stay for Downtown Memphis being at the top end of Main Street - near enough for easy walking to most attractions but far enough away from the noise of Beale Street. The facilities at the hotel are good. We stayed in a king suite (bed is superking to Brits). Very comfortable. Huge tv mounted on wall which could be angled to watch when on the sofa or in bed. Small kitchen area with microwave & fridge was handy. Very clean rooms which were cleaned daily. Super friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that let this hotel down was breakfast - there was a reasonable choice (would have liked more hot choices) from a self serve buffet. The main let down for me was the plastic cutlery, cups & plates. Obviously done to save on staffing/cleaning, but did not make for a good dining experience and definitely not recylced - everyone put food waste & the plastic into one bin. This did not however spoil out stay and we would definitely stay there again. Hotel also feels very safe. We did not have time to use the pool or hot tub but it was small and looked very clean.

    Customer Service was an absolute 10 ! From the reception who was so cordial and full of humor to the valet staff who were so respectful. Big room for 5 of us . In Downtown Memphis , walk to Beale St . , we enjoyed the river walk with a stunning sunset which is just across the street from the hotel . Breakfast was awesome with varieties of selections. There is a bar as well. Bed is comfortable, amenities with the gym which I accessed was good even after plenty of sidewalk dancing on Beale Street. Awesome stay!

    Having arrived at the hotel after a long bus journey it was great to be greeted by a smiling receptionist who was friendly and checked me in early without any drama. The hotel is in a good location walkable to many of the main Memphis attractions and an easy cab ride to Graceland. The room size is good and furnishings comfortable, bathroom is a little dated but no real issue. Gym and pool are a good bonus, with a nice breakfast.
