Red Roof Inn Memphis - Graceland/ Airport

It was pet friendly but I had to park and go to the other side of the building with my dog and back and forth with my things, by myself. There was constant noise all night from other guests and I barely slept. I called the office but they did nothing.

Room was clean staff was courteous. Parking was adequate. Good place to stay.

Front door locked but there was a gap at the top, room smelled, sheets had stains on them, you can hear EVERYTHING. Loud club music outside, neighbors phone conversations from their room, ppl loud walking by outside, and running water. Area is sketchy. Do not get a room here. Could not sleep.

Parking was easy & secure. The room was okay, but we had to keep asking for coffee & creamer, which they reluctantly gave us. The guys at reception were not very helpful or pleasant. The only guy who helped us was Syd. He had the right attitude & good people skills.

This place is basically a dump. I would never ever stay there or recommend it to anyone. Sketchy neighborhood. Rude staff at night. Wifi spotty. Dingy lobby and I saw prostitution on premises. Stay away.

On the first night, the tv would not work. A staff member tried to fix it but to no avail. The next day I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it reset and worked fine foe the rest of the stay

This hotel was at best a 2 star motel. I wasn't expecting much in Memphis.. the positives were that it was actually quiet, little to no vagrants in parking lot loitering, and at a distance the rooms looked decently remodeled. The room appeared to be cleaned though we gone a bag off salad and ham in the mini fridge, no towels, and cigarette burns I'm one of the top blankets in a non-smoking room. There was also what appeared to be mild stains at the bottom of the shower curtain. The biggest issues were the toilet backed up twice and it took almost 2 hours to get someone to bring a plumber after letting them know we needed to use the restroom and the wifi never worked at all the 4 days we were there because of poor signal.

The first room they gave us had not been cleaned. The second room they gave us the smoke alarm started chirping (low battery) called the front desk to see if they could come and change the battery. They said they couldn't do that. They said "see if it stops and if it doesn't they could give us another room (we were already in bed. So we took out the battery and put it back in before we left the room.

A lot of people staying outside in walk ways. Felt very unsafe , probably because I didn’t do much research on area. They were around like it was normal.

The room was horrible blood on the floor and walls, everything was dirty. People in the parking lot using drugs, in the car next to use. We stayed 2 hours and that's all we could handle. I felt very unsafe and no one should have to stay there. We went in the room.you could see the guys in a truck using drugs and they were in the same position when we left a few hours later . I'm very disappointed and that's a very unsafe place

As soon as we pulled up there was drug deals in parking lot. Fighting and arguing all night. The door had been kicked in so it didn’t close that good. Bathroom door does not close at all. There was blood dropping on the floor and it was overall nothing I’ve ever witnessed

Property was clean safe and close to everything.

What I didn't like was that there was no waiting room for people who came, they had to sit down and wait, the check-in time was outside, they told me to stand and wait. I'm really sorry.

Out of all the “Red Roof Inn” Locations In TN, I’ve stayed in, this one is my favorite mainly because of the staff and the room. Housekeeping is very conscientious and responsive to any request. Overall their customer service approach makes the guest feel valued. I highly recommend.

Run down place, desperate need of renovation

The area around the property had all the earmarks of a TV crime show. The property itself was not close to the standard of other red roof inns that i've stayed in.

Unsafe parking lot, open pedestrian gate with cars and people driving through and yelling. Room was dirty - shower had dirt all over the floor, tv and WiFi didn’t work. Tried to sleep and not worry about my vehicle getting broken into. Will not be staying here ever again and recommend the same.

It reeked of cigarettes so bad my partner had an asthma attack and someone tried to get into our room with the wrong key. The blankets had cigarette burns in them and they were so think you could print documents on them. We were so scared we took shifts to make sure no one came in the broken door.

Do not,I repeat,do not stay here! No matter how cheap or desperate. Absolutely disgusting and SO unsafe. I could go on and on but there isn't enough room.

Ok if your main concern is cheap. Beds not comfortable. Bath door wouldn’t close big chunk of door missing @ the bottom. Looked like mold around the hole. Strong water pressure but Shower head sprayed so wide of a pattern it soaked the bathroom floor With shower curtain closed.

The area seemed a bit unsafe but there were no problems and there was a lot of noise until 3 AM as people were partying on the parking lot in front of the rooms. But fair price for a last minute overnight stay close to the airport.

Hotel made me wait over 8 hours on assumptions that I could probably pay an extra cash fee and check in early only to deny me because of an misunderstanding of communication trying to make me pay another person's debt because they had known me to be in that person room sometimes for long periods of time

Do not stay here. There was drug dealing, fighting, loud music, our door had been kicked in and never fixed so there was a gap to the outside. The walls were so thin we had to listen to the drug dealers phone calls all night long. Every metal thing in the room was rusty, no blanket on the bed, just two sheets. We just stay there a few hours to get some sleep before a flight but never slept. It was scary.

I was highly disappointed when I went to the property that I canceled my service that same day. The bed was dirty with cigarette burn marks on the comforter. Also, the lamp light was covered in yellow orange filth. Also, the bathroom door was punched in from the inside and out. Also, the doors was horrible very rusty and old and the door was shaking and was not secured. Did not feel safe in that room at all. The mirror had black spots all on it. Bathtub was not clean at all. Also, I have photos that I need to upload because it’s not what it is said online will never again book again at red roof in Memphis.

There was a huge pile of garbage outside that I asked to have removed, after 2 hours they still hadn’t, they put us in another room instead(which was just downstairs from the garbage, so we could still smell it! Also the toilet wasn’t cleaned properly.We ended up just leaving with no refund as there was no reasoning with the guy at the front desk!

Booked for one night on travel through. The front desk check in was super rude, room was filthy. Noisy ? I think people live there long term, yelling/shouting. The power went out - no one at front desk. Felt very unsafe, terrible sleep.

The room had mold and water damage in it. Linnens and towels were stained and had cigarrett holes. Our room was a non smoking room but smelled.

Everything else was below standard. There were holes in the baseboards, the furniture had about 3 layers of dust, the door had a half inch opening at the bottom, so any rodent couod have easily come in. End of the day....DON'T STAY HERE.

Upon arriving, the desk clerk explained that Child Protective Services and the Police Department and coroner were investigating a baby's death, in the the next room. My credit card was charged, for two nights, but the desk clerk refused to give us the key-card unless we gave him $$$ extra in cash. Nothing worked in the room. Absolutely no amenities, other than basic wash cloth and towel. It looked like they hadn't even as much as finished the room (interior has been repainted, and some repairs made, but looked like they stopped and never finished). Definitely did NOT get what I paid for. And have not been offered a refund, points or anything to reimburse the horrible accommodations. Expedia, you can do better.

Room was run down. No towels in the room. Had to ask for towels. Shower did not work… bath only. Couldn’t sleep well because we were worried about our vehicle outside. Kind of sketchy place.

The floor was dirty and left our feet black. The mini fridge had a broken leg and rocked badly. The shower activator was so corroded the activator had to be forced to get it to operate. All in all it was a expensive dirty room. NEVER AGAIN will I use a Red Roof facility.

It is a very shady looking place. There’s no way I would’ve stayed at this hotel by myself it was the floors was so dirty feet were black just from walking across the floor. They had no ice machine that worked and I would not recommend this place to my dog.

When we walked in, the drawers of dresser were hanging out. Upon shutting the drawers, they promptly came out again. All the bath towels were horribly stained. The bathroom floor was filthy with a plastic fingernail on it and the top of a razor, along with long hairs in the bathtub. It was noisy as it was by the airport which should be expected.

The bathroom door is missing wood piece and door handle knob is missing from outside. Microwave want to catch a fire when try to use it.

Hotel way over priced for the service and condition of the hotel. The rooms weren't clean at all.. The linen, on the bed was dirty. There was hair, possibly pubic, on the toilet seat. The fridge was dirty and leaking water. There also were holes in the wall. Overall a terrible experience

My car got stolen from there while we was sleep.... An the owner didn't show any concern at all dey have bed bugs roaches it's really nasty

We pulled into the parking lot and it looked like a war zone. We left and went down the street to the Holiday Inn.

Our room was nasty, toilet had pee spots on it, had a hand towel wrapped behind the toilet. The towel rack had a piece of hair hanging from it. The sink was dirty. Microwave was disgusting. One of the drawes has trash in it along with ashes, non smoking room my butt. The bed was clean and comfortable. I will never stay there again, I think they need to get better housekeeping and do a better job at remodeling. Definitely can hear everything everywhere.

I wouldn’t give the furniture to a second hand store. Not even a chair in the room. Couldn’t drink the city water, but they wouldn’t give you bottled water, had to buy it. Best thing I can say was no bugs, superficially clean, but really old and decrepit. Only stayed there because I made an error and booked this location instead of the one in West Memphis.

The place is very, very filthy. Loud music and party in the parking lot until 2am.

Awful place and people they messed up my reservations by using a credit card I’ve never had and took me over 2 hours to get my room the shower wouldn’t go on so I had to use wash cloth under the faucet to clean myself. Roaches and flies everywhere and the microwave had moldy food inside. The free wifi never worked.

Asked for access for disabled person as well as smoke free room, got neither. Room smelled like an ash tray & I think its because of the smoker who "cleans" the rooms. I killed so many roaches, even in the bathtub! Accidentally walked through the "employee lounge" & one employee kicked me out very dramatic. Stayed only for the price.

The room was clean, however no towels or soap was left in the room. After a long drive having to walk to the office for simple necessities that should come with the room of this price. Boooooo

We needed extra blankets because at 96yo, we freeze. there was only a sheet and thin bedspread. Also requested extra towels. After waiting an hour from calling for the request, we were told that all of the supplies were locked in storage, and that only the manager had the keys and he had already gone home. The room phone was filthy and did not work. There were coffee packets but no coffee maker or cups of any kind in the room. We found live roaches in the bathroom.

All bad, they are renovating, room wasn't cleaned well, refrigerator was not plugged in (so unable to use after buying food), no remote, when I did receive it I had to program the tv and wasted to much time setting up the room and the guy that checked me in was less than helpful and seemed as though it was very low priority. Also I heard airplanes overhead as late as 2am. My friends told me to find something 0-15 minutes away for better accommodations next time.

This place was absolutely disgusting. If it wasn't for being so exhausted from driving all day, I would have never attempted to stay. My mom watched over me while I slept for a few hours. She killed multiple roaches. My daughter is allergic to roaches and had welps all over her body when we woke up at 6 am. Bathroom door and no knob and had black mold growing all over the door, the tub had no shower curtain, and the icebox was leaking all over the place. I was strapped for money and needed sleep, that is the only reason why we suffered through it. Plus the area is not safe at all, I slept with my pistol by the bed.

We ended up leaving very shortly after we entered the room. Location of property is not great, homeless person sleeping in the bottom of a stair well. Several beat up cars in the back of the parking lot that had to be accessed by a security gate. Once entering the room and turning on the light, there were live cockroaches in the room (I have pictures) as well as the bathroom was unclean (again, I have pictures). Linens did not appear to be clean with there being stains on comforter. Very disappointed in the room and will be asking for a refund.

Felt unsafe! As I was checking in a gentleman was checking out saying “there’s no way I’m staying here” should have listened harder to him. It looked like a crime scene on the inside of the door to the room. The drawer to the dresser wouldn’t stay shut causing a hazard. Didn’t shower because I was afraid of catching something. And we left asap!

My stay was comfortable. They have done great upgrades. The staff was wrlcoming and friendly.

My overall stay was very comfortable. Maintenance does need to be done on the rooms. The refrigerator did not work. There was a large hole in the bathroom door. They could use a better lock system on the main door. With all that being said I will return I did enjoy my stay. The only thing is if you are a light sleeper there are airplanes taking off at all times of the night and they are very loud by im use to the noises of memphis.
