After a long drive, The valet parking attendant was friendly, quick and efficient. The location is excellent. A short walk to the restaurants and clubs on Beale Street. Not very far to drive to the other sights in Memphis. The hotel itself, however, had fun and a quirky vibe. In the communal/ reception area, we enjoyed the pinball machines, games and record player, which gave the property a unique character. The room was also quirky and the bed was very comfortable, which meant a good night's sleep. Overall, the hotel has plenty of personality and some great features, but a warmer welcome from the reception team would have improved our experience. Unfortunately the reception staff were not as friendly or helpful as we had hoped, which was a disappointing first impression.
- 4/5
This was the first time I have stayed at a Moxy Hotel. I will definitely stay at another Moxy again. The location for this particular Moxy was great for Beale Street. I would stay here again if I ever go back to Memphis.
- 5/5
Fun environment. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly, only had issue with one attendant but it was nothing that ruined my trip. Room was clean and comfortable. Lobby was fun with cards, board games, table games and pin ball machines. Valet was a little pricey but worth the peace of mind knowing vehicle was safe. Walking distance to most of the entertainment district.
- 5/5
You can never go wrong with a Moxy. Hotel is in a convenient location and the staff was super friendly.
- 5/5
Staff was great! Location was suburb and the games and amenities were lots of fun for traveling with young adults
- 5/5
This hotel was fantastic! All employees were super friendly and helpful. The vibe in the lobby cannot be beat. We were traveling with two teenagers and there were games and entertainment, as well as a bar and free popcorn to top off the vibe! The drink tokens we received upon arrival were a pleasant surprise. The overall value for this hotel was amazing! Also an easy walk to Beale Street.

Firstly, getting a free drink (we chose excellent local draft beers) on arrival was extremely welcoming! The free popcorn and free pinball were also nice treats. We love the relaxed and funky decor -and our room was spotless and modern with great amenities.

There were people partying on the street until 3 am which kept waking me up, I was on the 6th floor. I should have called down to the lobby and had them make them leave but didn't think of that until the next day.

I wasnt able to visit the Moxy Memphis because of car failure, but they still charged me for one night and so did Booking.com and I was supposed to attend a friend's funeral! There was no sympathy from either company and it created a hardship for me, but noone cared! I still havent gotten any refunds even though I gave them advance notice of the car breakdown! ? Who can help me get this resolved in my favor?

The staff were friendly. The bedding, would have been nice to have a comforter.
- 5/5
Room was great and very comfy . Staff were lovely .
- 4/5
We love this place. We have stayed here twice while in town for concerts. It is close enough to walk to Beal St and FedEx Forum. We will always book here when in town for events.
- 4/5
Everything was nice. The rooms were smaller but it's more of a minimalist and esthetics location.
- 4/5
Shower was great. Having very few surfaces to put things on with strange.
- 2/5
There was a large blood stain on one of the beds and after looking under the mattress it was completely saturated with blood on the bottom… I was in room 406
- 5/5
Loved this hotel and location. Perfect weekend!

Great room
- 5/5
Fun, hip, funky. Great location. Nearby affordable parking garage and steps to the trolley line made getting around easy. Walking distance to Beale Street, lots of restaurants and shopping.

Clean room, slow service at the bar, staff ok
- 5/5
Absolutely adorable. Amazing staff. So helpful. Close to all the attractions. Would recommend and stay again
- 3/5
Air was very loud had hard time sleeping.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice, although some parts of the building were a bit outdated it overall was well kept and had very modern features such as the showers. They give you a free drink token to use at the bar and if your over 21, they have a good selection of local drafts and the play area is nice and features a few pinball machines and other games inside and out on the patio.

The room was clean and nice. Staff was friendly enough... I requested a mini fridge in the room but we did not receive one. When I asked again at the front desk I was told that maintenance was out for the night and our request could no longer be fulfilled. We ended up having to throw our leftovers out. There seemed to have been a party going on in the room next to us so we heard loud music and yelling all night. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel but still meant the overall experience unpleasant.
- 4/5
Excellent room. Clean and neat
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff. Great comfortable stay.
- 5/5
We’ve stayed at the Moxy several times and it’s always entertaining and enjoyable!
- 5/5
Cool ambience, cozy and within walking distance to the famous Beale Street.
- 3/5
Nice cozy place. The double beds are way too soft (foam mattress) and way too small for two people. I hurt in places I didn’t even know I had.
- 4/5
Clean room nice staff
- 5/5
So clean, so fun, and staff so friendly!
- 5/5
Very good service. Room very small though. I wasnt expecting that.
- 4/5
Only issues were with the valet parking - that needs to be explained better on the website or via email. We were trying to make it to a wedding 3 blocks down the street at 4pm - arrived at the hotel at 3:30 with plenty of time to spare. The valet parking took 25 minutes to sort out (front desk said that we just needed to give the valet our key and text them a code - the actual process was much more complicated - had to verbally give the valet all my info, click a link, sign in, etc) and made us 5 minutes late walking into the wedding venue. The whole process needs to either be simplified or there needs to be a prompt to sign up for valet parking when you book the room to save time Otherwise, it was a great hotel with a chill vibe - we would definitely return if/when we are in Memphis again
- 2/5
We stayed in room 507 and when you opened the door you could immediately smell mildew. The rug in front of the bed was soaking wet we had to leave it in the hall to be able to stay the night in the room. Every board on the floor you stepped on had water coming from the cracks. The ac made a horrible rattling noise the whole time. Genuinely just not a good experience.
- 4/5
The floor in our room had food on it when we arrived. We asked a few times if house keeping could please mop our floor. This was never done!
- 5/5
The hotel and rooms were very clean and the staff was bery nice and friendly.
- 4/5
The rooms need standard amenities, such as a real desk, fridge, microwave (especially since the hotel does not have a restaurant), and ice buckets/machines.
- 4/5
It was a clean and sanitized area.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome
- 4/5
Very wonderful kind staff very helpful and responsive.
- 2/5
They didn’t give me the room I paid for. They asked to contact you because they were going to drop the rate. Also no soap. Dispenser was not working. Had to stay in shower waiting for them to bring. Ac no working. Service was ok but did not meet the expectations

Cool venue. Eclectic crowd. Valet parking essential. Rooms very eco-friendly. No frills (no carpet)! ;-)
- 5/5
I loved the bright colors and how good it smells when you walk in it was pretty clean as well. We also enjoyed how there was alot of places we could walk too.
- 4/5
It was a pretty nice stay. The ability to get more towels or any toiletries if you forgot your own made it pretty great.

Great location
- 5/5
It was cute and intimate. Plus the location is surrounded by restaurants & bars. Top of my list of Hotels!
- 5/5
Great, staff and clean facilities.
- 4/5
The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed, however the walls and floors are paper thin and we could hear everything from everyone around us (in their rooms and on the corridor) which did wake us up during the night. We had some street noise too which is to be expected considering we are in a city (albeit a very empty one). Location was something I researched a lot before booking and we felt it was fine. It was a little out of the way of other hotels but that wasn’t an issue and we felt safe walking around.
- 5/5
Nice property highly recommend
- 4/5
Enjoyed the vibe and simplicity. Glad we had two beds since they were full size and not Queen. Very comfy but husband found them a bit too soft. Loved the hooks on the wall and conditioner. Bar was happy to give us cups of ice and the complimentary morning coffee downstairs was good. Liked sitting outside facing the park. Parking options were valet which we don’t care for do chose a nearby parking garage. Would have preferred to self park in the valet lot in front of the hotel even if had to pay. We’re close to mud island which we wanted but overall there was not much open around us maybe since it was a Sunday and Monday night. Chose to walk far for an open restaurant with barbq.
- 5/5
I’m a Moxy person. Love the hotels. Only place I’ll ever stay
- 5/5
The property is modern and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Liked the atmosphere. Close to many restaurants and nightlife. Room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
Multiple tornadoes hit my state, I messaged the hotel to inform them we would be arriving late. They gave my room away and refused to provide assistance or a refund.
- 5/5
Good price, beautiful location across from Court Square Park
- 4/5
It was modern, fun and efficient. My neice and I loved it and would definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
They were very friendly and welcoming
- 5/5
Everything was great! The staff was so friendly and helped with any questions with a smile! Highly recommend

Will not let us check in. Virtual card doesn’t work
- 5/5
Will be returning!
- 4/5
When I was realized parking wasn't free but indicated on the booking site 😕😞
- 5/5
Property was a different experience. Staff was nice. Parking is valet only. If there was street parking you had to pay and it wasn't close. Pinball machines were fun.
- 3/5
The Moxy is always cool but this one had a particularly small lobby. My room was nice, but there was hair in the shower. Definitely could tell it was not cleaned. I did not complain because I did not use it. My room was on the front side of the hotel which was really exposed to more of the city activity im guessing. People were randomly fighting at like 2am, might be a Memphis thing. Valet is the only parking option which isnt a problem...however when I received my car to leave, it smelt like weed. I dont have an issue with weed smokers but dude I gotta drive my car. And yall arent drug testing people who are driving cars? Thats wild. I also wish there were more options for the "free drink". I didnt even use it because there was nothing I liked as an option. Was a disappointing Moxy experience honestly.
- 1/5
Fights outside the entire night. Extensive perfume in lobby. Felt very unsafe.
- 1/5
There was yelling and parting on the grounds behind building. Very Gheto not safe to walk around after dark.
- 5/5
I love staying at this property. Great staff, walkable or short drive to all we like to see and do, great rooms. We will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay at the Moxy. I see a lot of people comment on the room size but as a solo traveler coming in for just one night, it was perfect. I do wish the blanket were thicker for the cold weather. Also, I understand customer service can be a tiring profession but maybe some warmer welcomes can be offered. The person who checked me out was great. Overall, beautiful aesthetic for a hotel.
- 5/5
Unique hotel loved 😍 it
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make your stay great. We were given tokens for a free welcome drink or snack from the bar on arrival and there is a mini market in reception where you can purchase drinks or snacks. The room was furnished in a modern design and stocked with toiletries. If you have forgotten anything you can get them from the storage area( toothpaste or razors). The bar is open until midnight and they have bar games free to use throughout the area including pinball and shuffleboard. The bar staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and as we had a late arrival she provided us with the menu to a fantastic local takeaway who delivered straight to the reception. She even lent us her phone to make the local call. We were advised on where to go and where not to go as the area can be unsafe in places but the walk to Beale Street about 10 minutes away is patrolled by the police making it safe to walk both day or night.
- 1/5
I didn't stay there. Thought my trip was cancelled. Didn't get any reminder emails or texts beforehand. But got charged anyway. Needless to say, I'm not happy about this experience.
- 2/5
This property was a dorm hotel. I had never heard if such: no closet, no dressy, drawers, refrigerator, microwave, breakfast, etc. However, the price was just as expensive as hotels with these amenities. I was very disappointed.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and hotel was clean and very cool.
- 3/5
Wasn't pleased with the paid parking. Charged more than was indicated .
- 5/5
Everything’s good !
- 4/5
Due to recent shutdown of trolley, adjacent street was pretty empty of people. Need more eyes on the street.
- 5/5
Very professional staff and clean rooms
- 4/5
The vibe of the hotel was very conformity The front desk customer service was polite and knowledgeable
- 5/5
Our stay was great. The only inconvenience was the parking situation at this hotel. Pretty much forced to use valet parking.
- 4/5

The room was very clean. The hotel had great service. I enjoyed the bar and games in the lobby. I did not like that there was no mini fridge, microwave, or coffee maker in the room. Overall i enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, our room was nice n clean, just minutes away from the National civil rights museum and beale street
- 5/5
I loved the good vibes!
- 5/5
We had a great happy hour on the patio watching the trolleys, people, and enjoying a glass of wine! 🍷🍷🍷
- 5/5
Loved the stay.
- 3/5
We arrived late and went straight to bed. We were woken up at 3am by gunshots which killed a man outside our window. The next day we got up and headed out to explore the city and arrived back at the room late and exhausted. It was only then I realized the sheets on the bed had not been changed since the previous guest. There was dried fecal matter on the fitted sheet. Lesson learned.
- 5/5
staff very friendly and accomodating. room clean and comfortable. good advice about restaurants. walking from beale street. valet parking
- 5/5
Cleanness of room. Comfortable bed.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at Moxy Memphis, super cute, great staff and loved the complimentary rum punch, we’ll definitely stay again if we venture back to Memphis!
- 5/5
Had a good time. Was comfortable
- 3/5
Things to note: - No coffee machine in the room; had to go to the lobby for coffee. - There was no desk in the room, so not a great hotel option if you need to work. - They play music in the hallways at all hours. There is even a bucket of earplugs by each elevator. If you're sensitive to noise, this is not the hotel for you. - There are linen closets on most floors (except 3) where you are expected to get towels, toiletries, etc. yourself. Cons: - I asked for daily room cleaning and they only came once in 4 nights. - I asked for a late checkout and was told 2pm was fine. At 2pm I received a phone call from the hotel asking why I hadn't checked out at 11am. There needs to be better communication between the front desk staff. - A room key card is needed to get into the hotel from the back entrance, but once you're in the hotel lobby, anyone can access the hotel rooms via the elevators. I would have felt much safer if the elevator access was also restricted to guests with room key cards. For the price, I would rather stay at a more traditional hotel.
- 5/5
The Moxy was dope AF! I love the eclectic vibe. The drink token at check-in is Lit !
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the location was very convenient to everything downtown! The bar had some great drink options too.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and hotel was very clean.
- 5/5
I loved it
- 4/5
Perfect location
- 5/5
Very laid back
- 5/5
Super friendly staff
- 2/5
Not worth the money, room was extremely small and there was no space for anything. The elevators seemed very shaky and the bar looked run down
- 5/5
When I come to Memphis I stay here. Cool
- 3/5
Air conditioner made crazy noises all night, most tv channels didn’t work, and the shower leaked really bad. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that wish the room had was a mini refrigerator. Loved the Moxy punch.
- 3/5
Sorry, but this Moxy hotel had a dark elevator. It had a way too dark hallway on the fourth floor. No mini- fridge, no ice machine. My fault for not reading the hotel description. Good water pressure and hot water. Clean tiny room.
- 5/5
There were no room darkening drapes. The light from the surrounding hotels came right thru. The toilet paper holder was broken. The shower door did not fit and water leaked out onto the floor. The outside noise with the trolley blowing its horn every 20-30 minutes kept us awake until Midnight.
- 3/5
It listed free parking but only parking option was pad at $30/night. Upon arrival we were told the tv wouldn’t work. Not only didn’t it work, when we turned it off, it turned back on by itself about every 10-15 minutes until we unplugged in the middle of the night. The breakfast sandwich we ordered was average at best and staff was indifferent.
- 1/5
Hotel staff was very unengaged, especially the night shift lady very rude, cursing talking to another customer very unprofessional. One of the worst places we’ve ever stayed. Could barely get any towels for the room. And room was not clean.
- 5/5
Overall, it was good. We have no major complaints, it was clean and comfortable. The staff just seemed a little overwhelmed. We would stay again though
- 4/5
The property was conveniently located near our route into and out of Memphis and the price was right.
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 5/5
Property is super trendy, worth the prices.
- 5/5
I went for basketball game. Location was great. Hotel staff was amazing and room was clean. Not walking distance to beatle street. I was told only 4 blocks but i had to drive. Other than that...it was great. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Great service and amazing drinks! Atmosphere perfect and location was spot on
- 5/5
Love it.
- 5/5
Lots of games in the lobby area for adults and kids. Bar area is fairly small. Outside seating is wonderful with the trolley line just a few steps away. Easy walk to downtown and riverfront. A little noisy but earplugs are readily available.
- 5/5
Fun, quirky, and engaging property! We had the pleasure of being greeted and taken care of by Matt throughout our stay. He has the kindest and most gentle spirit and can throw together a phenomenal cocktail in the fly! Highly recommend staying here if you like atypical. You will not be disappointed!
- 2/5
The experience I had was rather uncomfortable and left a lot to be desired. The staff was not the issue rather the fact the amenities and cost and the property were my issue. Yes the area was safe and quiet but, the lack of room size vs the price did not add up. The bathroom was small claustrophobic even. The room was below Marriott standards. It was just uncomfortable and the parking was ridiculous just I don’t understand there was plenty of parking but we had to valet I’m just not happy about my stay. This setup isn’t worth it, a lot of improvements need to be made here . I commend the staff for how I was treated but they can’t control what they have to work with.
- 4/5
Having recently had Double knee replacement surgery, there was no place to sit comfortably. Chairs too low. Appreciated the Coffee Station, wish there also had been hot water, instead of heating in the microwave
- 3/5
I traveled to Memphis for a work trip. We chose Moxy hotel bc it had good reviews online & Ive stayed in other locations. Overall it was a pleasant experience, the front desk agent was friendly at check in. However, the 1st room we were assigned was filthy with stains on the walls & red hair on the pillows. The 2nd room we were assigned had clean walls but the shower was full of mildew & dirt. Housekeeping left a huge bag of trash near the elevator for an entire day. I had to mention it to the front desk several times. The hotel looks aesthetically pleasing from pictures but needs a thorough cleaning inside. I do not recommend this location.
- 5/5
Great vibe, great crew. Funky decor.
- 5/5
This Place Was So Nice!
- 4/5
My 4th stay at a Moxy so I am generally pleased
- 5/5
Thank you for a great experience. You made me my dogs and partner all feel welcomed.
- 5/5
My second time staying here, and because of the staff, especially Allie, makes this a fun stop! I’ll be back!
- 5/5
Fun, hip, and clean hotel. Really enjoyed that upon check in, we were given two complementary "drink coins" to use at the bar during our stay. All the valet staff were extremely nice. Valet does get full but they make it work, if you don't see valet at night they might just be inside. Don't bother parking at the garage across the street. Overall it was a great one night stay.
- 1/5
A lot of trash on the ground on hotel patio and right out front. Numerous homeless people hanging out on hotel patio and across from hotel all day and night. Gunshots at 1am sounded as if coming from park directly across street. Did not feel safe, lost money for 2 nights paid ahead but left early anyway.
- 5/5
The staff was the best part! Especially Allie, she really seem to enjoy her job!
- 4/5
I Love how unique the property was and the staff was very nice.. I just wish there were more options for food and the times foods is served other than that it was good..
- 5/5
Always love staying at Moxy!
- 5/5
Very modern hotel and location was awesome! We enjoyed our stay and loved our visit to Memphis.
- 2/5
I coffee in room hardly any parking space misunderstanding on breakfast we paid ahead of time they said we didn’t
- 5/5
Very neat place to stay. Convenient location. Had a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
