    It was absolutely disgusting I checked out right after the first night. Stains all over the wall, nasty bathroom with mirror not cleaned, they also gave me the wrong room, couch had stains on it, and there was no sink cabinet along with what looked like chewed holes right next to it in the cabinet

    The first day we got there the air was out so they put us in another room which was infected with roaches, call the front desk to let them know and they offered to move us again well we had drove 4 1/2 hours to get there with 3 kids that were exhausted we stayed in the room asked if the kids could go to the pool they lied and said that the chemicals was being put into the pool and gave us wristbands to go to another hotel for the kids to get in (absolutely a mess) went to check out and was explaining all this to the desk clerk that could’ve cared less and all she said something was left for the manager but it’s nothing we can do because you checked in with a 3rd party!!! I have stayed in hotels from Las Vegas to Alabama and this was the world worst ever!!! I wish I could get my money back so bad

    I first arrived a checked in, it went by smooth my room was a bit stuffy so I changed the temperature on the thermostat. An hour went by it was still hot. I got moved to another room the air was fine but where the room was located in the building was not ok at all.

    The pet fee is pretty steep. Nothing is provided or offered - sheet of blanket to cover furniture, pet bowls, dog treat etc. All amenities my company offers routinely at small, boutique hotels. The room was clean. The property is a bit shabby and could use some maintenance. E.g. Exterior doors leak and bring moisture inside - on the floor and condensation on the door. There's a slight smell in the halls. The front desk staff could definitely use some training along with management. I booked through a third party booking engine and it had a certain rate for the pet fee. My reservation was partially based upon this information, and I had to fight to get them to honour it. Then, I was overcharged by $100. I didn't get a response quickly until multiple attempts including a phone call. To date I still haven't been provided a folio. But the extra fees finally got refunded. Overall I wouldn't stay there again. Too many hassles.

    The only good part of this experience was that the nice front desk clerk gave us a refund. The property entry doors were broken allowing anyone to come in and out. Room was dirty. Toilet looked like acid had been poured in it. Fridge doors was broken. The stove was all rust. Red stains on carpet.

    The hotel was extremely dirty, starting with the rotten smells throughout the hallway when we came in. As we were getting to our room, we had a man who appeared unkempt begging us for money to do his laundry. Upon entering the hotel room, everything seemed better and we loved that the suite had 2 separate bedrooms. However, further inspection, there were stains all over the curtains, a vomit stain on the carpet and the chairs to sit in were falling apart and shedding black pieces all over the floor. While we loved the concept of 2 separate rooms for our family, the experience overall was terrible.

    The staff was helpful and professional the hotel itself just needs some work. The toilet bowl was stained and didn’t appear clean, the tub was stained and the shower handle fixture was falling apart, the bathroom sink filled up and wouldn’t drain properly, and the second day I had to make up my own bed due to housekeeping not coming by to bring clean towels or make the bed, maybe housekeeping is upon request, that I did not check but nonetheless I made up my own bed and requested fresh towels. Upon making my bed I found a bug on the top sheet. The room also had an unpleasant odor. Unfortunately I won’t be staying here again.

    The room and furniture had noticeable damage, also there was no cookware in the room. Only two towels in a room that sleeps 8 people. there was also no hand or dish soap. This location was not what I've come to expect of a Homewood Suites. However Betty has great customer service and should be praised for her uplifting spirit.

    Absolutely terrible. Rooms aren’t as they seem in pic. Even suites feel crowded. Furniture is old and falling apart. Nothing was clean—including the shower. They don’t provide any hand or face towels. Kitchen does not have any soap or sponges. And not the safest area. Rude and judgemental front desk.

    The room and hallway had a musty/moldy smell. It seemed outdated. Our suite was supposed to sleep 4 adults with one king bed and a pull-out couch. However, there were no extra sheets, blankets or pillows for the pull-out bed and were told by the front desk that they had no more pillows or blankets to offer. There were only 2 towels and two wash cloths and 1 hand towel for 3 people. Within 30 minutes, the fitted sheet was coming off the bed and didn’t seem to fit and the mattress cover was also coming off because it was not even zipped completely to cover the mattress. The fridge didn’t seem to be cooling. The sink in the bathroom was not draining properly. The staff was very friendly and hospitable!

    Mold in bathroom. Let out bed had several crumbs in bed sheets. Was out of blankets for the let out bed. Chairs was taped with electrical tape to attempt to fix. Sink was dirty. Dirty dish in the microwave. Front desk was nice and friendly.

    1) The interior (hallways/elevators) was dirty, and no AC (only lobby/rooms) 2) The room had bed bugs 3) The room wasn’t clean, hair on all the surfaces, and food crumbs behind the doors. 4) The room didn’t have any towels available When we arrived, we wanted to shower after a long travel day, but there were no towels. We called the desk, and they said they had no clean towels for us either and had no idea when we would have some. The next day, the tournament started at 7 am, and it was 8 p.m. While sorting the towel issues, we checked the bed, pulling up the sheets and skirt between the mattress, and found active bed bugs crawling around. We took photos, grabbed our stuff, and checked out.

    We couldn’t even stay. The room was dirty, dishes uncleaned, trash can had brown mold sludge, 75 degrees in room. We thought we saw a bug on the pillow. We asked for another room, and it had more evidence of possible bed bugs, so we left. Every room stank, and outside was even worse behind a grocery store dumpster. Walls and carpet everywhere were torn up. The staff tried to help, but since we booked through Orbitz, they don’t have any refund options. Won’t use Orbitz again either.

    The room I had booked at the time sounded like a nice. When I went to the front desk I was told my room ac went out and it wasn’t available. They did accommodate me to 2 rooms but they were far from what the pictures showed as the light fixtures were missing the bed sheets were stained and pillow cases were dirty.     3 nights stay at the hotel. 2 nights no A/C in Memphis. Area hotels were booked due to basketball tournament. Finally switced rooms the night before we left. Maintenance tried to service the unit to no avail. Breakfast crew were very nice and the food was good. Denise kept our spirits up and was extremely pleasant our entire visit. We were given a refund for 1 day but I feel it should have been for 2.

    We have stayed here before 3 or 4 times this time, we've decided that we will not return to this property. The room above us had something crazy going on.     The Front desk accommodated us on our early arrival. Staff were friendly and recommended us where to eat. There was no hand cream in the room. We were told they ran out. No gel or bath soap. We had to buy soap and hand cream. Limited choices for breakfast but eggs, waffles and potatoes were tasty. There was a kitchenette+. Pillows were too soft for me. Overall a good stay and area had many restaurant choices

    It was a one night stay at the last minute. The price was ok. The Hotel was clean. The bed was soft. I love the space. The staff was nice. The furniture is in bad condition and is in needs of updated bad. The sofa and chairs were awfully stained. You would not want to set on them. The chairs at the table, the leather, was all peel off. Make sure you park close to the side where your room is at. Very long walk if you don’t.

    The room we had was amazing! It had 3 king beds, 2 bedroom, and 2 bathroom! The beds were super comfortable, and there were ceiling fans in each room. The draw back: the entrances from the outside of the building and crazy long hallways were very confusing! Plus, the hallways smelled bad.

    The receptionist stated that the hotel had handicap accessible rooms. They did not. She did not know that a walk in shower was not the same as "handicap accessible". This shows a lack of training. When I reported that the room was not handicap accessible, I was told that one would be available the next day at 4pm. I waited... I called early the next day (at 1 pm) just to check to see if I could get in the room early. The receptionist said " oh, he's not going anywhere". No one bothered to tell me. I was faced with another day without handicap accessible accommodations. To add to the situation, the first floor carpet was filthy and torn. I tripped coming down the hallway. The first floor hallway is filthy, surely your staff sees this.. The breakfast meat options consisted of several different versions of pork.... Pork Bacon, Pork Sausage... Pork. Consider a meat other than Pork. .... Ex. Turkey, Chicken or Beef... And a Mexican couple sat in the back parking lot, late into the night blasting Mexican Music.... where was security? I left the hotel looking for a peaceful , clean, handicap accessible room at another hotel.

    room: dirty sheets & old sock on the pullout couch, the few dishes were dirty, you can’t even fully open the dishwasher, the freezer wouldn’t fully stay close so it kept freezing over the seal. (the ONLY positive part of our experience was the breakfast attendant Ms Betty who was a gem & deserves a raise) 2nd night & we had a break in with our car parked under a light and by the back entrance. 2 broken windows, one fully shattered. A $999 deductible will be out of pocket to fix both windows and the hotel absolutely could care less. Just the price you pay for parking at this fine establishment they said. “It’s the risk you take, like parking at a mall” is exactly the Homewood Suites official response. Citing that there is crime all over Memphis as it happens oh well. We asked to see security footage & were refused. We still have not heard from their insurance & their response shows they KNOW there is heavy crime in the area & they KNOWINGLY choose to do less than the bare minimum in protecting their guests bc it would require effort. Save yourself, Under NO circumstances would I ever suggest anyone waste their $ staying here.

(the ONLY positive part of our experience was the breakfast attendant Ms Betty who was a gem & deserves a raise) 2nd night & we had a break in with our car parked under a light and by the back entrance. 2 broken windows, one fully shattered. A $999 deductible will be out of pocket to fix both windows and the hotel absolutely could care less. Just the price you pay for parking at this fine establishment they said. “It’s the risk you take, like parking at a mall” is exactly the Homewood Suites official response. Citing that there is crime all over Memphis as it happens oh well. We asked to see security footage & were refused. We still have not heard from their insurance & their response shows they KNOW there is heavy crime in the area & they KNOWINGLY choose to do less than the bare minimum in protecting their guests bc it would require effort. Save yourself, Under NO circumstances would I ever suggest anyone waste their $ staying here.

    the odor of marijuana was everywhere. Took kids the swimming pool and people were smoking marijuana in front of the staff at the table outside the pool. The room, lights were burnt out, carpet was dirty and stained, stains on the lamp shades, iron burns in the furniture, mold in bathroom from leak in ceiling, wall paper pealing from water leaks. Light fixture in bathroom was broken. The odor of marijuana being smoked in hallways was nauseating and disgusting.

    I would stay here again because they have a good pet policy. Unfortunately, one of the remotes had been chewed up by a previous dog guest, and the batteries in the remote were dead. I had to switch them out with the second TV in the bedroom. Great breakfast.

    Staff was excellent! We had booked a suite to accommodate 2 adults and 5 kids. When we arrived, Mr Shaw informed me that the AC had quit working in one of the bedrooms. He then informed me that he had moved us to two rooms that were adjoining, but at a lesser rate. Phenomenal customer service. Breakfast was great and the best I have had at a hotel with free breakfast. Seemed more homemade. Would stay again.

    I wish they would’ve come in to empty my trash and replace towels while I was there for 5 nights but I got new towels & a trash bag from the front desk. Kitchen area did have a funny smell, either garbage disposal or dishwasher.

    A quick stop on a multi day journey. Check in was good. The rooms were in a separate building which was fine, but they really need to add many more baggage carts. I had to make multiple trips to bring up bags.

    We had to be put in two rooms. We had saved a room with three king beds but had two rooms with two kings and two pull out couches - one did not work. The air conditioning was super loud. The bathroom was not clean. We had two towels. The room wreaked of marijuana. Breakfast options were limited. Staff was nice but it was dirty.

    So the property overall needs a remodel. The first room they put us in was a handicap room and it was not requested. The shower had water on the entire bathroom floor. So Shareeka moved us to another room and it was better. The room furniture is outdated. Chairs to the kitchen dining table were peeling and should not have been in the room for guests. The chair legs were broken, dirty and the room smelled old and mildew. The phone never worked. We had two tvs and only one remote. The walls needed a good cleaning because they had stains and cob webs. Carpet needs to be replaced. There was no soap for the dishwasher or even to wash dishes. The door to get outside was always flying open so it was a little scary because anyone can just walk in. Overall stay was ok but not worth the money until they get a remodel and better furniture. We wondered why our room never got cleaned and we were there for 4 whole days. They told us they clean the rooms every other day, however that never happened for us. We had to get towels everyday to take showers. Also the garbage and towels was on overload in our room.

    The staff was absolutely phenomenal but we would never stay here again. The room was awful: dishwasher leaking at check-in, sheets were missing, toiletries were missing, the HVAC unit was broken and our room key would only work on one exterior door - which was very inconvenient and made for very a long walk in the rain to get breakfast. There was also an overwhelming amount of marijuana and cigarette smoke/smell - this wouldn’t have been issue except we specifically booked an area that was no smoking.

    The neighborhood is "rough" & seedy ... to say the least. Be careful, especially if venturing to the local shopping center for food, etc.. Little management or supervision. Food services marginal. Positive ... hotel van made itself available to provide transportation to businesses or restaurants in the immediate Germantown area.

    We showed up at 5:00 p.m. and had to wait an hour (maybe more) for them to clean the room before we could get to our room. Once we got in the room, the air conditioner couldn't get the air down below 76 degrees and the toilet had piss in it.

    The overall property is okay. I gave a 3 star rating because I booked and picked my room in advance. I picked the king suite and it’s only 2 on the property. I checked the floor plan and all to ENSURE I wasn’t near an elevator or ice maker. I get there to get my keys because the digital one was faulty and the lady tells me they changed my room to the one room I didn’t want. I didn’t have nowhere else to go at the last minute so I went with it. I get in the room and it smells wet and like mildew. And speaking of mildew it was all in the shower I had to ask my friend can I shower at her house so basically I paid for the room just to have somewhere to sleep which I couldn’t get much rest due to the FREAKING ELEVATOR. It was so loud and obnoxious. Definitely won’t stay here again.

    We chose this hotel because it advertised a kitchen, but there wasn’t an oven and the kitchen was difficult to walk in. The dishwasher won’t open fully because the door hits the refrigerator. Had to ask multiple times for fresh towels and then still had to go to find someone because housekeeping wouldn’t bring them. They also only provided 1 trash bag for a 5 day stay. The bed was comfortable and clean and the location was convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly. We would probably stay here again but we would definitely have to make adjustments to our plans.

    There was used soap in the shower, trash in kitchen trash can, dead bugs on the wall, and food on bedroom curtain. People are nice. Having loud outside doors with no softening cusions sucks, keeps you up through the night. Beds are comfortable, pillows too, and AC worked wonders!! Breakfast is a 2/5... bagels were dry. Overall hotel is decent. Just minor issues. And cleanliess can be worked on.

    Staff was great. Grounds could be better. In room needs improvement. When we pulled out the pull out bed it was full of urine stains on the old sheet. Sheets had not been changed and there were no sheets for pull out bed available. I went downstairs to get sheets, had to wait a very long time but front desk found me some sheets- they said they did not have any pillows. While down there, I met another guest concerned with cleanliness. He said his pull out bed had blood and urine 😩. Overall nice location with potential- just needs some attention to detail.

    Breakfast was a hot breakfast and good at that. They ran out of some things quickly and had to substitute but that’s okay. We really enjoyed our stay and it was about 30 mins from all of our stops. (Zoo, Beale St, Bass Pro, Ikea)
