Completely out of town...get ready to use Door Dash or Grub Hub

Clean new rooms great breakfast nice neighborhood
- 5/5
The room was very clean and well maintained! Housekeeping serviced our room and replaced used towels with fresh ones, made beds, and took the trash. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. There is no coffee maker in the room, but freshly ground coffee is available in the lobby 24/7! Breakfast was ok…no waffles but a fancy pancake making machine. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurt and assorted pastries and cereal available. Area was very safe and quiet. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby! I would definitely book again.
- 3/5
Breakfast was lacking yogurt, water and the piece equipment to cut the Bagles. In order to toast them. Very poor display of breakfast.

Staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. Excellent breakfast buffet with delicious cinnamon rolls (smile). Also they offer 24-hour coffee and tea service which I found very nice. I actually signed up to be a new rewards member. This is a nice hotel chain.

We stayed here two nights while attending a nearby church conference. Everything was fine, and we plan on staying here again in the future.

Brand new and feels like it. Staff was super helpful and very kind. Everyone had a smile and was amazing. The staff at the desk were so nice. I got in a little early and they didn’t give me a hard time and found a room that was ready early. That is so appreciated when you had to catch 2 flights to get there. Loved this property and will be back.

Recently remodeled April 2026. Got to be the first to stay in the newly remodeled room. We enjoyed the accommodating staff and the amazing fresh ground coffee machines that are 24/7! I am a coffee-aholic and this was wonderful to have. The property has beautiful art work and spacious. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

there is not overnight security...I say this because when the morning staff leaves, certain guests do whatever they want.plus no cameras in the halls of each floor.

The location was great, the hotel The staff could’ve been a little more chipper & welcoming to guest entering. I wasn’t greeted & he hardly made eye contact when speaking .

Smell of smoke in the hallway
- 1.5/5
The beds were dropping in the middle ended up with my mother rolling against me all night and the place was un-clean. The key cards didn't want to work had to go back 3 times to get them to work with in an 10 hour stay.

Originally, we liked the value. This was our third time to stay in this hotel. Each time before the staff was friendly and quickly took care of any problems that appeared in the room, like the tv remote not working. This time, however, all first three floors REEKED of cigarette smoke, and it is illegal in the state of Tennessee for hotels to allow smoking in their rooms. You could tell the hotel allowed this to happen freely, due to the amount of the cigarette smell pouring forth through the hallway and how heavy the stench was. It was coming from almost every room, especially on the 2nd and 3 floors. The first room we were assigned to had no functional air conditioning unit, so we were moved to another room. However, that floor REEKED of cigarette smoke. The next room we were sent to took two trips for me up and down and back and forth to the front desk, due to the keys not working. Then that room had no refrigerator and microwave. At this point, I asked for a total refund so I could go choose another hotel, due to this one not being able to provide what we had paid for. The desk clerk stated that he only had the manager's name and office number and that no refund could be given to me until Monday. I inquired that there was no manager on duty that could be contacted over the week-end? I also informed the clerk that the hotel was out of compliance with the state law in TN of not being a facility allowing cigarette smoke. He stated they couldn't do anything about what customers chose to do inside the rooms. We finally were able to move up to another floor without the reek of cigarette smoke, though I asked for the top floor to escape the smoke stench. I was informed that none of the top two floors were allowed to be used by order of the management due to them being under renovation. I saw no renovation in progress when I went up to those floors, and it should be noted that the first time we visited this hotel we were on the top floor. Everything I stated above, plus the fact that the clerk stated to me on my last attempt to find a room that was decent, didn't stench like cigarette smoke, and had what we paid for, that this was the last time he could allow me to switch rooms. I replied to him that it had been necessary for me to switch rooms not out of choice, but due to the fact that they did not have things working or did not have what we had paid for. I did get the manager's first name and office number. I do plan to contact them on Monday morning. My husband and I visit Memphis on a regular basis, but will NEVER use this hotel again. On another note, though the property has signs everywhere that it is a lower portion of the Wyndham chain, the clerk claimed that it was under private owners at this time.

Did not eat breakfast. Location was fine.

Night time staff we couldn’t understand and weren’t very accommodating
- 2.5/5
Location and price Front desk was rude & made me wait until he took a break on his labtop sitting in the lobby with us until I had to remind him we were waiting..Bathroom was dirty with mold/mildew and the ceiling & walls had started peeling and separating.Management knocked on the door 45min before checkout time rushing us to check out by 11am if we’re not paying for another night.Ice matching didn’t work yet filthy & vending machines didn’t give me what I purchased but was given a different selection
- 0.5/5
I had to change rooms multiple times there were bugs no hot water lights and appliances didn't work
- 0.5/5
We didn’t like anything. The smoke smell was so bad we had to tell them we needed a refund. Which they said they couldn’t I would have to wait until Monday to and talk with a manager. When we arrived at the hotel nobody was at the desk they were sitting outside in the yard. When we left the guy that was at the desk went back outside in a car. I called booking.com to let them know I needed a refund.
- 1.5/5
Is was unkempt. They need new beds and they need doors where the keys actually work. They changed the prices when we checked in. Not happy.
- 0.5/5
I did not like anything about the property. I did not like the rude receptionist either. I did not like the dirty rooms. I did not like the attitude of the employee or manager. I did not like how outdated it was. I did not like that it was not well lit and I feared for my safety. I requested a refund through the property the manager will not refund me I did not stay in this hotel room. It was a space I wanted to stay as I worked through law school . I wanted to be comfortable and this hotel did not accommodate that.
- 1/5
Hotel needs remodeling. Very old and smells bad
- 5/5
Everything’s Excellent Including The Breakfast!!!!
- 2/5
If you just want to stay for the night to get away from home. Not really clean always an odor in the hallway. Ice machine and elevator out of service. Hard to explain i felt safe but unsafe if that makes sense lol.
- 2/5
The elevator closest to our room was broken, so we had to go down the long hallway, up, then back through the long hallway to get to our room, only to find the one given to us had not been cleaned. After repeating the trek back to the counter, the response we got was "housekeeping has left for the day". We we eventually assigned a new room (repeating the trek again due to the broken elevator), we got a clean room. There were only two towels for the three of us. When asked for a third, we were told there were no more. The front door to the hotel was broken, an elevator was broken, we were given a dirty room, and they would not provide us with enough clean towels.
- 5/5
The elevator was broken. Both the rooms I booked had ants the first room had an ant infestation the second room had a few. But everything else was fine except our neighbors were loud at 3am I have to be at work at 5am. The breakfast was okay!
- 1/5
I got ate up by bugs while I was sleeping. The room was dirty. There was crackheads screaming. And it sounded like someone was trying to kick my door in. All of the doors at the hotel had looked like they had been kicked in. The room reeked of pee.

The hotel was decent. The
- 1/5
Doors would not open with keys when they were open they wouldn't shut, wires hanging out of the lamps, dirty sheets, someone tried kicking our door open in the middle of the night, bugs, smeels like pee in the whole place.
- 1/5
This property really needs updating. I should have read the reviews before booking. Everything everyone else said was true, one elevator did not work and the other was filthy. Wallpaper peeling off wall, several lights had no covers and some didn’t work at all, Toliet seat was not connected on one side. Ceiling looked like mold on it. I’m so surprised that La Quinta is still franchising this location.
- 1/5
Hotel was dirty and smelled bad. It is very dated. One of the elevators doesn’t work, the tv in my room didn’t work and the toilet seat was hanging on the toilet by one screw! The floor in the bathroom was sticky as well. I didn’t want to be there and I’ll never stay there again.
- 1/5
This hotel was awful. Door opened without key card. CO2 detector missing from ceiling. Shattered bedside lamp falling out of the wall. Holes in comforter and sheets. People slamming doors all night. The list goes on. Customer service was even terrible. This place needs to be closed down. Can’t believe I paid over $100 for the night.
- 1/5
The room was very terrible not as Advertised like on the internet listing the room was outdated and smelled of Marijuana I didn’t even stay at the hotel with to a family member’s house instead.
- 3/5
The staff was great! The breakfast was decent. The condition of the building was extremely deteriorated. My door was broken. The keys only worked on doors sometimes. The location is in dire need of an upgrade and I understand a remodel is planned. I would not recommend this location to anyone right now, but it if was renovated, I think it would be great as the location in Memphis is good.
- 4/5
Great value for money
- 2/5
The room was supposed to be pet friendly, but out cat found 3 places to hide. One of those places was in the wall and around the tub. The bedside table was broken as was the wall sconce above it. The refrigerator did not work and we had to crawl under the desk to adjust the temperature because the thermostat didn’t work.
- 1/5
In desperate need of cleaning and repairs! The entire place
- 3/5
Ps. There was one lady on the first stay that was kind and did all she could do.
- 3/5
I booked a nonsmoking room, but first floor wreaked of smoke and marijuana which had to pass through to get to my non smoking room. Room lock barely functioned, and when locked made a loose seal there was a 1/4 inch gap all the way from top to bottom between door and the jam. The ac unit was unplugged… and for good reason, when plugged in smelt like smoke, and the fan was loud as if not on shaft. I guess when you book at a cheap place you get cheap quality.
- 4/5
Room and bath were very clean. Shower had hot water. However the carpet felt damp and if AC was not turned to 70 or colder the room got smelly. Breakfast ever morning was good. Coffee was good. Pool was closed.
- 2/5
The pool was closed which is why we picked the property

Staff was available, room was clean, everything was perfect

The worst hotel I have EVER stayed at! We only stayed one night…& they still charged us for 3 nights! We had to change rooms the only night we stayed because of the smell!! The main elevator was out of service, not one item in the vending machines, the ice machines were all broken, the hot tub advertised was completely cemented in and the pool had a out of service sign on it, & the breakfast was so bad I actually took 2 bites and went back to the room and threw up!!!! I can not believe hotels.com didn’t even do us right! We booked and stayed at another hotel thru them the 2nd 2 nights paying full price, but we still were charged for the other 2 nights we did not stay at this worthless LaQuinta ! Will NEVER use hotels.com again EVER!!!!
- 1/5
This was the worst, most disgusting, nasty, dirty, foul hotel I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I travel for work and stay at hotels weekly across the country. If I could give this a negative score I would. I walked in and it smelled so bad. The curtains were stained from top to bottom. The table was broken. The outlets were broken. The floor was stained from front to back. The door to get in the room literally wouldnt open I had to pry myself in. I couldn’t tell my worst enemy to stay here for a minute.
- 3/5
Check-in with problems with toilet and no remote for Tv. Mattress was also not that comfortable.
- 2/5
The water in bathroom sink was black. Only 1 elevator worked. No ice machines or vending machines. Breakfast was cold and no eggs every day.
- 2/5
As far as clean, safe, tidy, comfortable, updated, those are not applicable. Only 1 elevator, no lock on our door, no chair, lamps broken and 1 held up with scotch tape, A/C had something in the vents, hair all over the bathroom, burn hole in the sheets, no functional ice machines, I could keep going….
- 1/5
Will never stay again
- 1/5
The nasties hotel I ever stayed at had unclean rooms with bugs running around and a mess in the toilets. The health department needs to shut them down.
- 1/5
It was very very nasty it had a bad smell also the room condition was very poor no towels and toilet paper and the room door was giving problems with the keys because the door had been kicked in before the door handle and latch was broken and no good hospitality at all
- 3/5
209 Ac didn't seem to function properly and the TV didnt work.
- 3/5
Property is truly in need of an update asap. The AFAM lady at the front desk was nice and did her best to accommodate any issue we experienced. Out door looked like it had been busted in and you can literally see through the cracks. This is a BUDGET hotel.
- 1/5
There were ants in the bathroom, paint peeling in the hallways that was held on by clear tape, and OBVIOUS bodily fluid stains ALL over the couch. I was in the room long enough to change clothes and then booked a stay at a completely different hotel chain.
- 1/5
Horrible. Never had breakfast like they said, broken facilities and the manager was rude and didn't care for anyone. Avoid this place.
- 5/5
Older property and it shows. Pool was very dirty
- 1/5
Staff was very rude. Loud people next to us all nite blaring music left a day early because I was not happy with our stay at all. Doors didn’t lock and key card never worked had to get a new one each time to get into my room. It smelled funny also. Bathtub was dirty. Overall not happy
- 1/5
If you are thinking about staying at this hotel, im letting u know, i wouldnt staythere or let my dog stay therr. Its the worst hotel i ever stay at!!!!. My car window got broke out, an 7 other car windows got brokr out. It dirty nasty. Beds are a box spring carpet is like mud no ice box or microwave etc. Just dont stay if you are traveling.
- 1/5
I suggest that you ask to see the room before you pay. When I walked into the lobby the paint was chipping everywhere. The rooms paint is chipping also and there are stains all over the carpet and blinds
- 1/5
I had to walk to the desk 8 times my kid didn't work they had to change me from wrong wrong to another room on the 4 floor from the 2nd floor Hey I gave my room to somebody else they were very rude at the elevator that had chicken bones and French brides island floor going down the first hallway to the office it was throw up in a corner then the next morning when I woke up it was 2 roaches in the bathroom 8 people is very unprofessional
- 1/5
The smells in the hallways were nauseating. The bed was 50 years old and the sheets were older. The bugs in the bathroom made me it all night.
- 2/5
This hotel is dirty. It definitely needs an update as well. There was an argument between guests and front desk staff right outside of our room around 10:30pm. We could hear every word.
- 2/5
Property definitely needs updating of common areas, replace carpets and printing. Not a good representation of the brand. Price was good. Would probably not stay there again.
- 1/5
The first nightThe room was not good, due to the refrigerator, air condition not working, no remote to the TV and the light was out. I was moved to another room and the bed had a whole in it. Early Saturday morning when i went to leave going to breakfast my car had been broke into and 7 total cars had been vandalized. So I'm giving you the WHOLE TRUTH
- 2/5
Years ago that might have been a nice place. Those days are over. It's in bad need of updating.
- 1/5
This place is completely run down, water damage, peeling paint, and a general stench of smoke and weed throughout the building. Walking in the building half the lights don’t work or flicker, true horror story. The walls were so thin we could hear the people in the next room playing video games. Cops showed up as we were leaving to deal with some kind of altercation at the front. Go to the Hyatt Place next door instead.
- 1/5
Horrible staff. Very sketchy guests. Noisy all night long. Multiple things and lights in room inoperable
- 3/5
This is a property that I have stayed in a couple of times over the last several years. It has taken an unfortunate turn for the worst. The room smelled like a cigarette party. I actually took pictures of ashes on the bed frame of the mattress it was a double room. I have pics ofa comforter with a cigarette hole burn through it. The entire hotel smells of weed and cigarettes and mildew. Missing knobs from doors and drawers in rooms
- 1/5
Horrible. Do not stay here. The entrance is shabby and muddy. The elevator is ricketty. The floor in the room, INCLUDING the carpet, was sticky. The towel rack completely fell apart when I touched it. The fire alarm was pulled out of the wall and the red light on (= very unsafe). The first room, we couldn't get in the door. The clerk did not seem surprised, as if anything could happen there. He did not apologize.
- 1/5
The parking area was vandalized the night before. The whole experience was terrible and we left right away to find a cleaner and safer hotel. I don’t know why La Quinta would keep this property. I’m hoping we will not be charged for the 10 minutes we were at this hotel.
- 2/5
The elevator doesn’t work had to go up 5 stories to get to my room
- 1/5
This hotel was the WORST. I have ever stayed in Do not be fooled at the pictures they show of the property. It looks nothing LIKE IT! It was a bullet hole on the wall..addicts all around the facility...throw up in the elavator! My room smelled like pee very strong odor I can hear my neighbors arguing! The staff was very rude told me i needed to hush after i told him the room was unacceptable! Please do not stay here it should be shut down! ITS SOO BAD
- 1/5
Did not check in customer service experience
- 3/5
Customer service was no so good
- 1/5
To later find Blood splash one area of the wall throughout the room and on carpet. I had been a Guest at this hotel about 4 years wonderful experience, but since then it sould be considered a Motel. I wasn't offended another room due to the fact I checked in late and was leaving in few hours for my flight
- 3/5
The clerk was on the phone speaking to someone in a different language this is very disrespectful. Then someone was smoking in their room and the alarm went off he did not know what to do!
- 1/5
This hotel was disgusting. Needed cleaning I could not get a refund or discount even after having to change rooms.
- 1/5
Waiting on refund. Nobody there for Check-In.
- 1/5
This hotel was one of the worst ones we have state at!!
- 1/5
The hotel was very dirty, not just lived in dirty but food ground into carpet dirty, dust/dirt in all the corners, doors that did not close, dents/scrapes and holes in doors and walls. There were 2 smoke detectors in the rooms around us that were beeping. Our room (216) had a dirty tub, the AC unit was in parts and did not work, there was left over stuff form the previous tenants in our room (bed was made), floor was not vacuumed, bathroom not swept or mopped. The only thing we were missing was a chalk outline on the floor from where they moved the body. The elevator did not work, the stairwell had food laying on the ground, there were several lights that were out in the lobby, stairwell and our floor. it smelled like weed and cigarettes. We ended up booking the hotel right next store for 2x the cost and it was worth it. When we went to discuss the issues with the staff, there was a language issue and the manager was "unavailable" to speak with us.
- 1/5
Stains on furniture as soon as you walk in the hotel.. Hotel looks old and dirty.. Elevator broke... hallway smelled like Marijuana 😡 Room bed and wash cloth has hair all over the place.. Bench at the end of bed has 1000 stains on it.. Door broken.. Cable is not HD. This place is disgusting.. I will NEVER stay here again.
- 2/5
If of all the door on our room was damaged and we couldn’t get in our room and had to get new keys 3 times. The bathroom door had no knobs on it so if you closed it you couldn’t get out. There was only 1 elevator working so I had to walk further than I needed to with 1 lung. The ice machine didn’t work on our floor had to go to the 3rd floor. The back door was always blocked so people who smoked could get back in. The toilet seat wasn’t put in so it moved every time.
- 1/5
Room was dirty. Never attempted to clean it. Never checked in. I would like a refund. This girl needs to be shut down. The customer service was horrible. Such a lack of empathy that it was a shame.
- 1/5
The Indian gentlemen checking us in is a Moran!! We made our reservation on line but he couldn't figure out how to check us in.,There's 15 guys on a sports team-the coach was complaining about the rooms being durty,dump..they rented 15 rooms at 4,000
- 4/5
Greeted us nicely
- 1/5
The front door would not close and a smoke alarm beeped constantly because the 9 volt battery needed to be replaced. I told the front desk and nothing happened. Our door on 116 was difficult to open because the door lock was loose. The left side bed light shade was missing causing a bright glare if used. The desk light power outlet wouldn't work. The radio power outlets would not work.
- 1/5
It was room number 512 and my boyfriend didn’t take a picture of the bug or pill
- 3/5
Elevator out of service. Room dont look like pictures. Oder in hallway. Beds sunk in. Ice machine broken.
- 3/5
The weekend male desk managers (middle eastern)did not care about the guests’ comfort or safety. A winter storm earlier in the week kept the parking area an ice rink. One upset guest needed bedding cause they only had sheets on the bed. The manager did not provide them any blankets or offer to switch rooms. The lobby was dark and cold as was the breakfast. Not until I checked out was the lobby warm and clean and with a cheerful female desk person.
- 1/5
The room was filthy and the hallway smelled of drug smoke. Overall property is run down. We did not stay the night the conditions were so poor and unsafe.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. As a single woman, I felt safe and comfortable! Amazing staff!
- 4/5
Elevator and ice machines did not work. Strong weed smell in the hallway. Rooms were cool. Clean bed and bathroom. Slept well. Good hot shower. A lot of movies channels on the tv
- 1/5
I was recently billed with some things that were already out of order when I arrived to the property. Management has no unity amongst the housekeepers and maintenance. They book rooms with broken rails, broken knobs and broken toilets. The breakfast’s sausages are not always done. The boiled eggs are old. The coffee isn’t always fresh or hot. Two foreign brothers works the front desk and they are very rude. They get mad when you can’t comprehend their accent. The system will bill your card twice, it’s very slow. They have laundry listed as an Amenity but it does not work and they don’t know when it will be fixed. The only one elevator works. The hotel reeks of smoke and it’s suppose to be a no smoking facility. The maids and maintenance have both expressed how the toilet and rails in my room were broken and had been broken for a while. The foreign clerk had to reset my remote and the manager still charged me for the tv not coming on which seemed to work just fine until my last day being in the hotel my kid 12 year old minor used a restroom across the hall because my 14 year old was taking a shower. The head manager stood in our face and told my son he broke into a room that was clearly left open as they admittedly do all the time. No damage to the door, we had no key. She never apologized and put us out of even after I offered to pay for the extra room as well.
- 1/5
It was horrible we stayed 4 days and when I asked about getting my room cleaned on the second day I was told everyone was off so I asked if I could change the linens myself the front desk clerk told me he didn’t know where the clean sheets were I was infuriated 😡😡 NEVER EVER AGAIN ‼️
- 1/5
Bed bugs in my room
- 1/5
Our first room had a red brown fecal looking splat on wall, body fluid stains on floor and couch and TV was broken. We switched rooms that room was no better for the floor and couch thankfully no wall splats, but that TV was missing cord, my spouse had to check the other rooms to find a cord. The gentleman working was polite but not very helpful or limited in the help he could provide and never apologize or offer any compensation. Extremely uncomfortable experience.
- 1/5
It was very nasy
- 3/5
Front desk guy very aggressive also banging on door… my previous stays with front desk clerks were great but not with this guy horrible
- 1/5
It was a horrible property. I had to be moved 4 times. The door was broken on one of the rooms. The ottoman looked like it was out an hourly hotel. Meaning that it was heavily soiled . I will not be going back to this property.
- 1/5
Mattress had a dent in it so big I had to put a pillow in it to be flat! Carpet in the hallway was rippled/loose—trip hazard! Elevator inoperable. No housekeeping for 4 days, but would exchange towels. Rust in the bathtub. No eggs 2 of the 4 days. Front door to lobby was not secure. Homeless people in lobby.
- 2/5
Lighting did didnt work.
- 1/5
The workers were very lazy and poorly cleaned the building.

There was a level of expectation I arrived at this hotel with. When I pulled up, my expectations diminished, and the curb appeal was adequate. The lobby was loud, with what seemed to be inebriated ladies dancing in the lobby area. Please note this was almost at midnight. Upon entering my room, I felt cold and empty. I entered the room, and it was below my brand image expectations. I took pictures of the omen in front of the bed. I see a place for me to upload them. For this price point of $163, Everything about this experience was below my expectations. I didn't feel safe, and I was afraid to walk barefoot in my room.
- 1/5
Elevators waa broke both of them when i arrived. However one was fixed later that night. Stains on the carpet and couch was so dirty wouldn't sit on it! Needs to be updated badly.
- 1/5
My stay there was absolutely HORRIBLE!! It was people in the hotel playing loud music. One of the elevators didn’t work and it was people just hanging out sitting down there by the 2nd one that did work. I had to move rooms 3 times!!! I suppose to had a none smoking room! And it smelled so bad just like cigarettes, and the the toilet did not flush at all. So they moved me to another one and that room didn’t have a doorknob and the door would not close At all! So they moved me to another room and that was ok for the most part the walls was just a little dirty. The employee was very friendly and super helpful. She tried her best to make my stay comfortable and get me a nice room. But i was over It.

I booked a suite, and the first room was extremely dirty. I asked to be moved into another room and the front desk agent was super nice about it. Got into the second room and it wasn’t much better, but at least there were no stains in the sitting room furniture. The first night I was there someone was breaking in cars in the parking lot and bursting windows. The hotel is nice and rooms are large, just needs to tighten up on cleaning and safety issues.

Book in was great but the room needs urgent upgrades

The lady at the front desk was sweet. Got to my room and it smelled terrible. I noticed the air wasn't working properly and the smoke detector was broken. There was a lamp broken. Rags and towels had stains on them.

When we left our room for the day our door was locked. When we came back the green light on the lock was on and our door was unlocked. Apparently our lock was unlocked all night. Next morning we couldn't lock it. The person at the front desk when we called the night we got home and the one we talked to in the morning both said they will tell the supervisor. If our stuff was gone there would have been a big problem

I first had a room that the tv didn’t work so I asked to be moved. The pictures below show how disgusting the room was after I went in the room the find someone’s clothing on the floor along with all the linen. The guy working that morning at the front desk went upstairs to the room and came back to tell me it was ready I walked in to a room that had not been cleaned at all only the linens had been put back on the bed. It was obvious someone had been staying in the room for a while. The property is run down really bad. The elevator wasn’t working and I had to climb four flights of stairs only to get to a room that I wouldn’t let my dog sleep in. The front desk person told me that I would be charged for one nights stay and when I disagreed he began to act if he couldn’t speak English and if he wasn’t authorized to refund my money (he was just about to refund one night before I said no both nights). I contacted the customer service for Hotels.com and no one could refund me my money even though the property was unsanitary and not fit to service the public. Instead I was told that Monday when the manager comes in (which was a lie) he would have to make the decision on whether or not to refund my money and Hotels.com wouldn’t switch me to a different property in which I’m sure they could do. I had to pay for a stay at another hotel out of my own pocket. This place should’t be listed on no one’s website as to it needs to be torn down!

I was very disappointed when my daughter-n-law called and said that the room that she and my grandson were given had a broken door lock with the batteries exposed, no internal lock from the inside, and you couldn't get a good seal that someone had tried to open it. She went down to the manager to possibly get another room, but he wasn't having it. He said it was fine. The manager would not help in resolving this issue. The room was musty smelling. She called me and I spoke with the manager and explained to him with all the crime in Memphis, I wasn't having her stay there. I called Hotels.com and they got my daughter-n-law and grandson out of there and set them up at another hotel.

Check in was a pain, kept asking for my id while he was holding my passport, I said that was my id, got passed that. Room had a huge stain in the rug tv was broken, worked mostly, but the screen was just white light from the top left corner. The mattress needed to be replaced badly, theres was basically a hole in it. The “conference room” has mold in it. At one point they were letting a homeless person sleep in the lobby. It was a very disappointing stay. Location was convenient. Breakfast was very slack, prepackaged hard boiled eggs and scant sausage and biscuits.
