The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. The variety was great and so were the flavors. Everything was great but the bottled drink could have been less expensive.

The chief at breakfast was amazing! She went above and beyond. I even saw her feeding a baby while the parents ate their breakfast. I don’t know what she gets paid but she should get a raise! She was wonderful!

This was a pretty nice place, it was clean, the bathroom was in great condition. Breakfast was good. The place is set up a little funky with the elevator being in the back. The place was moderately crowded for a Thursday night.

Got to stay a second night. It was a great night’s rest. The cleanliness and staff are great!!! I’ve really been thankful to have a nice place to stay while visiting my son in the hospital.

The room was clean and I had no problems sleeping or anything. I was a little late for breakfast, but the hotel manager was holding a staff meeting and said I could join them. Had a wonderful breakfast with great people. Couldn’t be any better!!!

This hotel was located in a fabulous area to access medical and tourism. The staff was above average and the breakfast was attended and very fresh. The room was comfortable and quiet.

We had an amazing stay, we need to stay in town another night and we will be going back to that property. Staying with them is highly recommended.

Breakfast was good, but lacked fresh fruits. The bathroom curtains would not stay in place and had mildew. The room curtain had dirt spots that almost looked like spots where bedbugs may have been, and the walls had water marks. The floor carpet had a lot of watermarks.

We didn’t get to go because of car trouble but the place looked awesome online.

The next night we were in our new room, and we noted that the floors were dirty with small pieces of trash, dirt, hair balls, and even some open body cream partially under the air conditioner. One of the bed sheets had blood spots on it--presumably from other bed bugs--and clearly was not washed. We flipped mattresses and looked everywhere with flashlights, but couldn't find any other traces of bugs in that new room, so we went to sleep the second night and then left in the morning. Staff was very nice. Not good at cleaning, but nice. Home now. Everything is being washed or burned. Feeling itchy.

When I tried to check in, there was nobody at the front desk for 20 minutes which I thought was very weird. On general it was a good hotel. Great location.

The room wasn’t vacuumed… there was old food & wrappers around the edges of the bed. Hair in the bathroom and dusty

This place allows pets which was bumer for the following reasons. Pee everywhere. This is not a joke. There was pee in the elevator, pee as you step out of the elevator. Mind you i have two french bulldogs so i do love pets but this was too much. Had my dogs been with me and they would have peed in the elevator or in the hallway i would have cleaned it up. I guess some people are just dirty that way. The rooms smelled bad, the toliet was running all night! I don't know if i got lucky but our bathroom door squeaked so loud. If anyone got up to go to the bathroom at night you would wake up with the noise of the door.

The room was gross. Countertops and bedside tables clearly had not been cleaned. Sheets did not appear to be washed - hair and crumbs present. Honestly disgusting. “Non-smoking” hotel yet the stench of marijuana was more than apparent.

The staff was incredible! The kindest people ever! This hotel was a bit run down and needs some repairs but it was fine for what we needed.

This rating is for the management only; not the staff present during my stay from midnight 10/23 - 4 AM 10/26 2025. The staff members were friendly and the rooms were clean. I had to move out of first room on 10/24 due to a flooded bathroom. The clerk that moved me stated that I would receive compensation for the inconvenience of having to move rooms. This did not happen. I think management should be more aware of day to day activities and maybe talk to the staff more about things that go on.

The facilities were nice and clean, and our room was perfect. The staff were helpful and kind, and we especially appreciated the kitchen staff. The breakfast was good, warm, and had a good selection. Parking was tight, and it felt a little unsafe. It was also difficult to find a place to eat.

The breakfast staff member Zee was too mother hen like. Became belittling at times in her professional like sarcasm. Outside of herself, i would rate the staff to be excellent. That one extremely negative reaction ruined the overall rating. As long as she works there, i will never return and will encourage others not to stay as well.

The property was safe . The area was quiet inside the hotel but was really noisy outside due to the frequent arrivals and departures of the helicopters and fire and police sirens .

Jacquavis and Anthony went above and beyond. They provided some of the best customer service we’ve experienced at a hotel. The beds were really comfortable and the air conditioner worked amazingly well and kept the room nice and cold.

Stayed here while visiting friend at hospital about a block away. Safe walk there durning day, but a bit sketchy at night. The hotel was a safe oasis, with friendly staff, clean room, wonderful breakfast and easy in & out. Desk clerk even loaned me his phone charger for a couple hours!

The staff here is AMAZING! Very professional and kind. The room was SO comfortable and clean. For us this location was perfect in terms of proximity to stuff in midtown. Parking easy and certainly a pool is always a bonus. This will definitely be our go-to hotel when we come to Memphis!

This hotel was a bit pricy but it does sit right outside of downtown Memphis. Breakfast was included as was parking. This is not the case with most of the hotels in the downtown area. The bathroom was really small and was not the bathroom pictured in the listing when i booked. We booked with 4 people- 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Room only came with 2 sets of towels. We got in late and had to go back down stairs to request more towels. I understand cutting back on linen that may not be used but please offer it at check in . Beds and pillows were comfortable and room was clean.

Despite this property not being what I expected the staff and the service was amazing from the welcome greeting to the time u check up the service was great !! The breakfast lady Zee was the best with her warm greeting each morning and impeccable service we looked forward to coming down for breakfast each day

The breakfast buffet is awesome! And, there was a maintenance issue, but they immediately fixed it and discounted the bill!! Everyone was so nice, we will be staying there again!

Wasnt much room in the room or bathroom for heavy people. And we had to ask for more towels there were 4 adults and 2 towels. Also on a weekend the pool closed early

Was great to make it here after battling I 40 shut down in Arkansas. Really enjoyed the comfortable bed after being so tired. This is our erd time staying here

The area around the hotel didn't feel safe. I observed what appeared to be drug dealing at a gas mart in the area. The cars traveled too fast for walking and there were limited restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself felt safe and there were no issues with parking my car.

The property was pretty well maintained. My first room had no peep hole cover. The whole piece was missing(it was not fixed even at our check-out). The second room was better. However the room was not cleaned the entire stay Monday night thru Friday check out. So no fresh towels, trash thrown, or beds made. It was the room the teens stayed in so i was unaware until check out. The pool was nice being outside.

All the staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly. The breakfast attendant lady (I didn’t get her name) gave great recommendations on where to eat and must see things in town.

Ebony was very thorough with our check in. Explained what we needed to know. Helped with a late check out due to medical issues. I do advise the manager of her service plus the only issue with the room was the outlets were loose and couldn't get good connection to charge phones. Even the USB ports wouldn't hold cords.

I was just in town for a nearby concert but the staff was so sweet and their complementary breakfast was well appointed and good. Room was comfy and clean. Love the in-room fridge and microwave.

Every employee in the building was amazing. They were kind, caring and genuinely interested in their guests! The room was very clean and beds were comfortable.

Everything was excellent. There's a coffee machine as you walk in which grind and makes coffee. Breakfast was also excellent with eggs potatoes bagels, bread, pancakes fruit and cereal. Staff is friendly and responsive. Room was very clean and plenty of hot water. The only issue we had was Internet access was intermittent so the staff will contact the provider. Great and convenient location 12 min to Graceland.

Avoid an adjoining rooms as you will hear their conversations.

If you are wanting a hotel near the many medical facilities in Memphis, this is the place. It's no frills, could use a little updating in the hallways, but once you get to your room, you'll find a clean room with the essentials. Keurig, microwave, refrigerator, and tv with many channels. We were pleased that there were multiple plugs ins both USB and110. Not a luxurious site, but very adequate. The staff at the desk and the breakfast area were great.

Staff was incredible. Very kind and thoughtful. Allowed for an early check in which was greatly needed due to extended travel. Changed our room to new one after we noticed the incredibly loud noise coming from the AC / Heating unit. Manager is as extremely nice and grabbed us orange juice and cleared our plates during the self serve continental breakfast. Thank you for a hospitable stay.

It was in a great location to where we wanted to go and see around Memphis. We would recommended this hotel. The Staff is amazing, very supportive and helpful.

We checked in and they gave us our room key, but when my daughter went to the room and opened. there was our peoples stuff. This could of turned out bad very quickly. Did not feel comfortable with leaving my stuff in the room. I didn't know if that was going to happen to me.

Ebony at the front desk was a true highlight of our stay! She went above and beyond to help us with our requests. She was helpful and extremely good natured. She asked how we were doing each time we passed by the front desk. She is a great member of the hotel staff! Pillows were too soft for my liking, and the toilet had to hold down while flushing. Good location. Easy drive to Sun Studio and parking downtown.

I think the hotel and the breakfast as always in Holiday Inn Express was good however, Memphis as a city by itself was very unsafe. They had to keep an overnight patrol in the parking lot for safety.

Hotel was very clean, safe and in a convenient area of town! Staff was pleasant! Will stay here each time I visit from now on!
