bedroom and bathroom did not feel or look clean. During late evening someone kicked or beat very hard on our door as if they were seeing if it might open. I called to the front desk, the phone rang many times with no answer before I stopped trying to reach the desk. We were afraid. I considered calling the police because there was no help available from the front desk. Several minutes later, I called the front desk number again and after several rings he answered and said he would send security. Minutes later a security person knocked, and when asked, identified himself as "security." I opened the door, explained the bang on the door. He said he didn't see anyone on the floor. I let him know it had occurred 10-15 minutes ago and told him the desk had not answered. He said the desk person had been off somewhere else. He left us and we again locked the door. We did not feel safe.

I paid for a 1 bedroom suite for this stay. The first night the hotel was oversold. They were supposed to refund the first night and never did.

We stayed 7 days. We had fresh towels and beds midweek and we had one issue that was taken care of quickly. The breakfasts were very good! Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. We come to visit family and will be staying here again!

I booked for 2 adults and 3 children but there were only 2 beds. My 14 yr old had to sleep on the floor. It wasn't big enough for 5 people. When we got to our room it was hot and there was no way to control the temperature. The second room they put us in smelled like smoke. The bathroom was small in that you had to sit sideways on the toilet and you practically sit on the toilet paper holder. The only good thing was the breakfast. A good amount to choose from.

I spoke to the woman at the front desk. letting her know that we have Hilton points and she looked at me and said you booked this through Expedia there’s nothing I can do with zero compassion or friendliness. Or even I’m sorry we can’t do this due to XYZ. So disappointed

I like the fact that it was convenient to everything. I liked that it was gated so that a ticket was necessary to enter and leave. I liked that it was relatively clean. 1. They could not find my reservation. I had to pull up my information on my phone to prove I had a reservation. 2. I was not told that you have to ask for house cleaning at the end of my stay. No one told me. 3. The bed/mattress has a large dip in it. 4. Downstairs I wanted to change one of the big tvs and was told that a customer broke the remote. No one came to fix it or change it 5 At the end of the stay there was a note on the door saying that technicians were coming by early to change the cable. Sorry if I were planning on sleeping in and for the inconvenience

The bath tub was nasty. They had a glob of black hair in the drain, the tub was soiled and warn, the overflow was corroded with rust and black gunk. I could not get in it due to the lack of cleanliness and appearance. Upon check-in on Friday I was told that they were sold out and did not have any other rooms available. The manager working the desk on Saturday night gave me a key to use another unoccupied rooms bathroom to take a shower. I was shocked when I saw the bathroom tub as the hotel boasted on their website about it being newly renovated . I do not recommend this hotel for its rooms. I have pictures to share if you would like to review them.

The parking arm is extremely annoying. Why take a ticket to get in if you just scan the same ticket to leave? And if you scan too soon after the car in front of you the arm comes down anyway blocking you. So you scan again and it says ‘Invalid Ticket’ so you park the car and go inside to get help. They tell you to try again, press help and they will open it for you. Except that isn’t true because when you press help it goes to the parking company help line and they ask you to press 3 for help - there is no numeric pad on the console!! So go back inside and ask again for help. Receptionist has to wait for someone to come and cover the desk and walk out with a special card to open the arm. Who has 10 minutes to go through this when traveling for work? Skip this location.

Place was fine, but could use some updating. A lot of visible wear and tear and things like the tub/toilet were beat up. Remote was broken and dirty. Conveniently located but overpriced.

Well, the bathtub was horrible. The showerhead didn’t work and you couldn’t soak in the bathtub because the stopper didn’t work in the water wouldn’t come out for that. There was no microwave in the room they were supposed to bring one up never did.

Just what we needed, nothing we didn't. A good one-night stay on our return home with our dog.

Air conditioner was not working. Called front desk and they came up to look at it and they said it's not working. Do you want to move rooms. I said yes. He said he will look for another room. We had to pack everything back up and move rooms. Only two towels in room. Had to go to front desk to get more. Will not deliver to your room. P

This is a nice property. We had a slight hiccup trying to get our room cleaned and get towels and coffee, but we were only here for 3 nights and they had coffee downstairs. I would like to point out that the room we had definitely needs new mattresses on both beds. Holes in the middle and extremely soft.
- 3/5
Our stay had multiple time where we had power outages, we didn’t have towels for two days into our stay, our toilet started randomly backing up on us one night. I feel there should be a compensation or offer for two nights stay redeemable within a year. We had to go out and buy towel from Walmart and wash them to have proper bathing essentials. We didn’t signup for type of experience at a hotel.

The tv was not working. The acs had to be reset and then the powere was off for several hours

Nice hotel in an upper class part of Memphis.
- 5/5
Kay was excellent. Smelled great in hotel…not common!

Stayed only one night but the door wouldn't properly closed (big issued for me as I was traveling with kids). When notified the receptionist they sent someone to "fix" the problem, but there was no difference.

We stayed in a king suite. The kitchen floor and table had something sticky. Microwave did not work.
- 5/5
We had an excellent experience at Hampton Inn and suites Memphis East Germantown. The entire hotel, including our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was decorated in an up-to-date manner with all modern amenities. The staff, especially Kay, at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The staff was courteous and accommodating. The room, halls and facility were clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was a plus.

Love the area my room was decent. Check in was a let down. Non-friendly and subpar communication with initial staff member that checked me in. It was my first time at the property and she was not helpful. She didn’t even point me in the direction of my room or explained to me how the property gate worked.

Had issues with the door lock. Our door wouldn’t locked. Air conditioning didn’t cool properly.
- 3/5
The mattress was collapsed and should have been replaced. I never had maid service the entire time I was there 5 days. I checked in on a Thursday and finally on Sunday I complained that I had only wet towels and that my trash baskets were overflowing. Towels were replaced & baskets emptied but nothing else! Terrible service.

I didnt get the room a paid for. Unbelievable....

Pleasant stay! Staff was very guest focused which made the stay even better.

The manager was great! There was a slight issue with my reservation and he fixed it for me. The room was clean and the amenities were great! I definitely will be staying here again!!
- 4/5
When we got settled into our room we could not get the TV to work. We called the front desk and a maintenance person was to come fix it, but no one ever came. The lamp between the two beds would not turn on and the outlet there did not seem to be working. Other wise the room was clean and well supplied and the dining area was nice.

Front desk clerk Jacob was Amazing and made sure our stay was memorable.. Shuttle service to and from Downtown 5 stars

Hotel was in a nice area and the room and property were nice. However I did find the cleanliness of room a little off putting. The kitchen looked as if the cabinets, microwave and refrigerator hadn't been wiped down in awhile. You could see food caked up on cabinet handles as well as microwave and refrigerator handles. The bathroom door had what looked like food stains on it. Staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was very good.
- 2/5
This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. I knee after the first stay that it was awful and I almost didn't go back, but the price wad so good that I convinced myself to give it a second chance. The mattresses are AWFUL and desperately need replacing. The toilets are very low to the ground. There is no water pressure in the shower. We had 2 rooms, each with 2 queen beds that "slept 5" and supposedly had a sleeper sofa, no sleeper. We only had 2 towels in each room that supposedly slept 5. The air conditioner didn't work well and it was HOT. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the room next door including their morning alarm. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. NEVER again!
- 5/5
Quiet and safe. Strange parking now
- 4/5
After traveling for 15 hours we were exhausted. We got to our room and I got in the shower and in the room next door was a screaming kid and the adults were talking way too loud. Then we get woke up at 5:30 am central time because of people talking so loud. I will not come back to this total again. I don’t care how nice the hotel is or if the breakfast is good or not. I CAN NOT STAND RUDE PEOPLE!!

The pull a ticket entry is ridiculous and has no real security purpose the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes upon arrival housekeeping associate was rude

Great hotel in a nice area of Memphis. I stayed here going home to Alabama and back up. Will definitely be back
- 5/5
Great location and easy check in. Staff was very friendly. Requested sheets for pull out bed but was never delivered. Dishes from prior tenant was still in dishwasher. Besides those two things, everything was great
- 5/5
It was very easy to access the locations I needed to go to. However, if you have special dietary needs, they can not accommodate you with anything dairy-free or otherwise. The breakfast is a standard breakfast for anyone without special needs. I found myself leaving the property to seek out breakfast.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable (bed). I liked the shower amenities-shampoo, conditioner, and gel soap. I was very pleased with the room and price. Thank you for the complimentary bottles of water at check in, after traveling for hours, they were very much appreciated.

It was a nice stay for me I had to have surgery the next day so I had to to leave like 4am!! It was a 10/10

FYI: you can use your room key for the parking gate.

Had to pay for parking if i want to park on the hotel property. At a rate of $10.50 per night. Wow!!!!! If you wanted to get wifi for free you had to join the Hilton Honors to get wifi free. If you didnt join you had to pay something like $4.99 per day. They also charged me an additional deposit of $100, just incase we messed up the room, most hotel only charge $50. In my opinion the making of the beds was sloppy, they had no info for restaurants, or rental cars etc, hell there wasnt even a bible in the room. In all my times ive stayed at hotels, they always had free wifi and free parking. It was very disappointing. Hilton isnt what it use to be and in the future i think ill stick with Marriott. Oh yeah and there wasnt a microwave either. Every hotel ive ever stayed at had one. Hilton needs to get it together. I mean seriously get it together.

My room was excellent and very quiet. I loved my stay. I will be back

First room wasn’t prepared for new guests. Front desk moved us- second room did not have working AC or vent for bathroom

Didn't like the fact that you have to pay $10 per night to park in their parking lot.

Our heat didn't work and they found us another room immediately..The only complaint I have is the pillows. Everything else was great.

Busy but very safe area. Not a bad drive to Graceland. It's on the east side of the belt around Memphis

There has definitely been a decline at this property or maybe this is their new standard. My classmates and I will no longer stay here. We found another hotel, with bathrooms cleaned during room service, Floors vacuumed, doors cleaned, dishes clean, toilets cleaned… this place was disgusting. It’s clear management has no standards and oh by the way went to the front desk for assistance, there was no one at the desk and then a guy comes from the office, when I asked him for assistance he said he doesn’t work here???? What the what, I went to my room locked the door and made sure I was prepared to defend myself.!!! Don’t stay here, there better safer options in TN.
